I had the butter chicken combo. Very large portions. I will definitely be going back
Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Light feeling in the belly after a huge meal. Top top top. Vegetarian options A+++++ highly recommend. The one star reviews are from obviously from jealous competitors nothing beats this.
I just ordered uber eats, and this is the quality of food i received, worst Masala dosa and sambar I ever had in my life. The sambar was so watery and the dosa was soaked in oil. If you want to add south indian food to your menu atleast hire someone who is specialist in this.
My husband and I decided to try Indian food tonight and while driving by just happened to see this little gem so we stopped in. We were greeted and seated by a friendly and polite young lady. The menu is WOW and the food unbelievably delicious. The spices had our taste buds dancing with each bite. Great service, more than enough to satisfy our appetite and reasonable prices. Such kind people. A must visit. Cheers.
Sheshu's has amazing Chicken Biryani. I was surprised by such a good quality dish, and the portion size is quite filling. Highly recommend Sheshu's for those trying Indian cuisine. A special mention about the staff, the customer service was excellent.
I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant, and it was a mixed experience. Unfortunately, they didn't have bone-in chicken curry available, so I had to settle for boneless. The chicken curry was disappointingly salty, but on the bright side, the paneer bhurji was delicious. Despite the culinary letdown, I must commend the restaurant for maintaining a pleasant dine-in ambiance. Overall, it was a blend of disappointment and satisfaction.
Sheshu's, is a regular go to, food is next level amazing, so flavorful, the staff are always so friendly and helpful, quantity of food was excellent for the price. EXCELLENT 👌
This place gets 5 stars and nothing less. I have been coming to eat here with friends and clients for over 4 yrs. the food consistency is out of this world to be honest, you will the same quality over and over. I’ve tried many of their dishes. The chicken tandoori, butter chicken and coconut curry chicken are my favourites. They do offer fish, beef and lamb options as well. Everything I have tasted is great, spice level is awesome abd you can ask for more heat if you want. I always do SPiCY!! Keep on eating abd have fun! #chicosreviews76
Amazing food!!!!!
Best Indian food I have tried probably in the world, shame there is no onion bhajas on the menu, the pakora is great though!
This is my go to restaurant every time I go to grand prairie. Delicious food friendly staff will be sure to keep coming back.
Worst experience this time we had , we used to come every time for dinner or lunch today we had momos and dosa it taste so bad we left all food on table it was our first and fav place for dosa in gp but now it s not the same taste like before . Food
Amazing flavors, warm atmosphere, and impeccable service! A must-try for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine! Best spot in GP for sure!
Vegetarian options: Kathi roll is must Food
Wow!! Had an amazing supper!! Will be ordering from there again!
This restaurant is absolutely stunning, and the food is incredibly delicious! Ill definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine!
Delicious food, great service, reasonable price, we will be back!
Didnt like the customer service. So we friends came in for dinner at your place. We loved the service and food. But one of the foods was salty. So.we returned back to get it fixed. And they added tomato gravy in that to balance and gave it to us. Now the taste wasnt good because of too much tomato. So we told them rest all food were great. But please take back this one as now its not good enough the way it should be. And for that problem they gave us complimentary 5$ item thinking we will not create an issue in the end. And they charged for that salty food and with that the Chef incharge is telling us that there is no issue with the food. Its fine for him. Three people are saying its salty but he doesnt want to admit it. Plus the way the chef incharge said thats why we give complimentary food for the food we didnt had also. What is the meaning of complimentary first thing and why do we give complimentary food to a guests? And big issue for me is not the food or money. The issue is that mans thinking. He is so self obsessed about his cooking that he doesnt want to listen or believe what their customers are saying. I am not coming again. I liked your vada pav a lot. But I dont want to eat food from someone who cannot handle criticism. I m 11 years working as a chef. If you cannot handle criticism you cannot grow as a chef.
Ive gone to Sheshus a number of times with friends and family and have ordered delivery dozens of times and this is the first time that I feel like I was being treated poorly or got a sub-par product. For reference, I (white woman) visited with two indian friends after work because we all chose indian food. The service has always been a bit hit and miss, but its an odd setup, the servers arent really able to see the tables to see if they need anything, so often you get ignored until you go to the counter or call them over. But they are usually wonderful once you have their attention. This time, we ordered the coconut chicken and the goat vindaloo and some appies to share. The coconut chicken was amazing, very smooth and flavourful, (and my paneer pakora was delicious) but the vindaloo was very salty. I wasnt going to complain, I just wasnt going to eat it, but my indian friends said that it is too salty (I agreed, but since I had not had goat vindaloo specifically before, I wasnt sure it wasnt supposed to be salty because you probably need salt to tenderize goat meat). Taking their word for it, we asked for the kitchen to fix the vindaloo and did tell them it was too salty (again, I didnt do the complaining). They took the dish back to the kitchen and brought it back again and we collectively assumed that they just added tomato paste and warmed it back up, because all we could taste was tomato paste. None of us were enjoying it, and told the server as such. She was very apologetic and took the meal back to the kitchen, and we assumed that it would be removed from the bill since it was sent back twice now. We were offered a complimentary dessert ($5 mango rasmalai) and accepted. When we paid, I didnt check the receipt until we walked out, but we were charged for the vindaloo. So we went back in and asked to be refunded for that portion of the meal ($18). They explained to me that the $5 dessert was to make up for the meal. I explained in return that a $5 dessert in no way balances out an $18 meal and that complimentary means free, not in exchange. In response, we had a rude man from the back come out and demand that I tell him what I didnt like about his vindaloo. Ill be honest, I dont like when people get in my face, and his rudeness put me on edge, so I was likely less polite than I could have been, because after the first few exchanges I returned his rude vibe. I explained again that it was too salty, and the fixed version was not good for us either. At no point did he ask my indian friends their opinion on the meal, instead focusing on me and telling me how vindaloo is made and that no other customer has ever complained about his food and that he will not write it off because its not store policy. I work at a restaurant, as do my friends that accompanied me, proudly making great food for people every day, so I get it, no cook wants to have their food returned to them uneaten, twice. But, if you want to retain customers, sometimes you have to take the $6.32 loss on food cost to get more in the long run. And also, maybe not be a condescending and rude jerk? We likely would have continued to go to Sheshus in the future (though not ordering the vindaloo), but now, they have permanently lost three customers, over an $18 food item, because their (I assume) head chef couldnt handle criticism or customer service in a constructive and forward thinking way and decided to be confrontational when it wasnt needed.
Disappointed !! This restaurant was my fav in GP but today I had the worst experience. We 3 friends went there to have a good meal but unfortunately the rudeness of the headchef (not sure if he was) made us never wana come back there ever again. We ordered goat vindaloo , coconut chicken and other appetizers which anyways took so long to come on the table (by the way we were the only ones there), we didn t even mind the timing since we were expecting a good meal. Goat vindaloo was way too salty so we told the girl about it n she took it back to get it fixed. My friend who isn t even Indian had one bite n thought it s probably how it was made but me n another friend knew thts not how it s made since it was way way salty not to mention that we 3 friends are chef anywys. So anywys the girl got it back after fixing it but their fixation meant putting more tomatoe paste lol. It was still not edible so we returned it back n not to mention it was full portion since we just tasted a bit to see if it was even fixed. The girl did apologize to us n took it back n in return she said we could have any desert as complementary since our order was messed up. So my friend took mango rasmali costing around 5bucks probably. Now the worst part, they charged us for the goat vindaloo !!! When my friend confronted them n asked them to get off the bill since we didn t even eat it , the headchef came out in very defensive n rude manner. He started asking my friend (white ofcourse) what was wrong in his vindaloo, she ofcourse said it was very salty n the fix wasn t right either . He just couldn t handle the review by us n defended saying tht no one ever complained abt it which wasn t our concern . He said it s company policy tht he can t take it off n thts y he gave complimentary dessert , he probably doesn t know the meaning of complimentary!! Plus how does $5 complimentary item compensate $18 curry?! Anywys we still would have let it go but the headchef was very rude n he wasn t able to take any criticism. The rest of the food was good no doubt but customer service handled by him was the worst. Lost 3 customers today . I always preferred this restaurant over others but now I don t even wana go there ever again. As a chef only one advice learn to take criticism so tht u can make it more better n learning is always great.
I tried their food first time and no wonder they don t deserve a single star . The momos were so cold and not fresh , moreover Sabji has no taste at all . They were not apologized after knowing they serve us bad food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE
As usual another best and authentic meal
Ordered chicken fried rice. It was really good!
Gave the wrong item.
I had food in this place and love their service. The food was delicious and hygienic atmosphere. Staff was really helpful. Prefer to have food in future as well. Vegetarian options: I had tried paneer dish there and was soo good.
I ve been coming here since it opened. The Lamb vindaloo with coconut rice and garlic naan bread is my favourite dish in town. Keep it up Sheshu!!
Very good food and staff was very friendly
Food was on point! Will sure come back !
Ordered falooda from them and it doesn t taste and look like falooda at all.
please dont order falooda from this place. Its taste like ice-cream
Went their today for dinner, the costumer service was really poor. Served cold food like it was frozen. And the workers overs there don t know anything about costumer service. It was first and last time we went there.
Surprisingly great food for a small city so far away! We make sure to order from them every time we pass through, and we ve never been disappointed. Prices are a bit high, but the quality is worth it. Highly recommend!
If the Tandoori Chicken hadnt been so over salted Id have given this restaurant 5/5. The Vegetarian Korma was heavily salted as well but when eaten with rice, it was lovely.
Not a bad restaurant great food but small portion sizes for the money. Need to make them bigger cause for same money food in downtown sounds better. Just my opinion
Ordered 06:01pm but it delivered on 07:14pm. Is this acceptable? Really disappointed
Im thrilled to update my review from one star to five! The restaurant has made incredible strides in the past 18 months. The management team has brought in highly skilled staff, especially at the front desk. The staff is now extremely polite and helpful, a major improvement from my previous experience. Its a pleasure to interact with such a welcoming team.
Great food!!
Vegetarian options: Paneer Tikka Masala, Malai soya champ, Amritsari kulcha. Food
We had the chicken vindaloo and it rocked our world baby!
Been here lots. Great food!
Friendly staff and great food. Love the goat curry. Neha ensured my meal was more than satisfactory.
Very tasty food! Like it a lot, especially Beef Naan. Will recommend this place. And will come back for one more round. Food
We asked for 2 chat without mixing the chatni and yogurt because it usually gets soggy when we reach to our house but they didn t even give enough for two even thought we told them many many time they gave us a tiny packet of dahi and 1 cutni ! Big disappointment do better
Best in town by far ! Super friendly staff and not afraid to answer any questions about the different dishes. You can t go wrong with them
Wonderful experience through and through. I will be going back!
food service was exceptional but for my take away order i did order 3 things but the lady at front tried arguing over that saying i had only ordered 2 things you work in customer service its ok if you missed an item i am not going to be mad or anything.. but except that everything was good .. love the place though.. and please be nice to the customers
Best Indian restaurant in the town. Food was absolutely delicious and service was excellent. Always recommended . Vegetarian options: Paneer Methi Malai and veg Manchurian.
I went with my family for dinner tonight it was amazing experience .Food nd service was excellent. Vegetarian options: Soya drumsticks, panner tikka
I will return for the food. Definitely the best indian food Ive had in Grande Prairie. The atmosphere could be more inviting if the server had a smile on her smile. Makes a big difference. Otherwise, it was decent. Parking: Accessible plaza area. Multi unit parking.
Amazing experience. Pleasant aromatic spices greet you. Comfortable booth seating. Extremely friendly staff. Delicious food. Great desserts to end of the perfect meal. Will definitely be back.
I just moved from brampton to grande prairie few days back and i was looking for best Indian food restaurant, one of my friend suggested me this place and i will say this place is gem , really amazing food amazing services and we order couple of dishes and drink and everything was perfect from food to drinks and quality and quantity both was perfect, i will recommend everyone to give a try to this place . I really loved the atmosphere and this spot is my permanent spot for food now. Staff was also so helpful and kind .
Delicious food and great staff. I definitely recommend Sheshus and I will be back for more!
We had the dinner for two. It is a ton of food and was so good. I highly recommend this place. The best food and flavors youll ever have.
After asking a local friend for the best Indian food in Grande Prairie, I was directed to Sheshus. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. The owner Sheshu chatted with my table most of the visit reminiscing of experiences in Indian (we all had visited). Sheshu is an absolute delight! I highly recommend trying this place.
Absolutely gorgeous. Probably the best naan Ive ever eaten. 100% ordered enough so we could take home leftovers. Will be back!
They don t know what is wrong on this photo. I order tandoori and gave this?
At some friends for supper and we ordered from Sheshus, I love spicy food, but not when its not supposed to be. We ordered Veg pekoras, beef Samosas, butter Chicken, Goat Byriany, and assorted aray of Naans, and most of it seems to have the same taste of spicy. The pekora was for some reason spicy, the beef Samosa was definitely spicy, the Goat Byriany was spicy, the coconut beef was spicy, the butter Chicken was the least spicy but still spicy. Dont get me wrong, if was the intention and it is the way of the dish, a fore warning might be something to think about.
very bad food butter chicken terrible i won t recommend to any one , horrible indian food
Fish curry was fantastic!!
Love it! We enjoy it often!
Love this place, I eat here often. Most authentic Indian food in town.
Best food I ve had in a long time
Amazing food service and environment, specially pav bhaji was delicious
Delicious!!
I have had quite alot of Indian food, and I have to say that this is the best food that I have had in over 20 years. The food was hot, fresh and seasoned deliciously. Medium was plenty got enough for me. Enjoy!!
I ordered butter chicken takeout from here specifically asking to make it very spicy. The lady taking my order convinced me to make it a combo for an extra $2 which will make the order come with naan bread. Upon getting home, I find out that not only did they get my order wrong, they failed to make it spicy. They sold me a full plate of old rice and a bit butter chicken by the side! They didn t make it spicy or anything of course and you can tell this was a prepackaged order that they just heated up for me. I tried to call them to explain the situation and all they could say was that s their policy and I could leave my name and number for their manager to call me back and they can t do anything! The food tastes so bad and stale, the butter chicken tastes like there s sugar in it and the rice tastes like it was made last week! Total waste of $21, I wouldn t recommend ordering takeout from here! (Except you just want a full plate of rice and a little butter chicken on the side!)
One of the best place I visited ever , the food of this restaurant is very delicious and service also very good and fast. I recommend you to must try goat curry , butter chicken and garlic naan. Must visit and tray, Really appreciated and enjoyed
This is one of the best places Ive ever had traditional Indian Curry. It is delicious and the staff never fail to provide a great experience and delicious meal.
I really like Service over there and i recommend to all go there and have delicious food
Food is the essence of every restaurant.. which is not good at all at this place.. goat curry was full of garam masala, ice cream tasted like expired, vermicelli on falooda was frozen.. I had diarrhoea after eating that food.. I request to management either train the cook or change the cook.. please
Always super yummy! Butter chicken and naan are top notch. Desserts are interesting and good too. Strongly recommend!
Whenever we go Grand Prairie we have our breakfast over there in Sheshu s best service, clean environment, polite staff, delicious food. once a lady I think she is the owner she gave extra treats to my son for no cost and when she came to know it s his bday that day she also offers ice cream for no cost. Such a kind and good gestures. Highly recommend.
Ordered from here for the first time, it was absolutely delicious. We got takeout so I cant say anything about the staff or atmosphere, but the guy who took my order on the phone was fabulous! We ordered the butter chicken, 2 types if rice, coconut Naan and garlic Naan. So good! I did ask for mild butter chicken and there was a bit of heat still, but not enough to take away from the delicious authentic flavor. Highly recommend
If only I could give this more stars. This Is the best indian restaurant I have ever been to. They have recently upgraded Their dining room to make room for more customers and create A Warm and inviting atmosphere, Great selection on the menu, the friendliest wait staff, and such positive interactions with the owner. Every dish that we have tried has been delicious. The prices and portions are more than fair. We (2 adults) often share An appetizer an order of rice, Chicken coconut and garlic naan and still have some to take home. The dishes are presented beautifully. I really cant say enough positive things about this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Large selection of vegetarian items. Parking: Shared parking lot with a few other establishments never had a problem finding a parking spot anytime we have went. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming staff. This place would be awesome for a family outing.
Absolutely amazing Indian food. I was in GP for a month and ate this stuff almost every day. I miss it. Godspeed Sheshu s!!! Can t wait to return
Terrible service... Dont have any good competitors. Food : 4/5
Very disappointed. Ordered for tandoori mix platter. Chicken and fish were stale. Chicken tasted like overdone and fish smelled bad. Sheekh kebab had no taste. Chicken jalfrezi quantity was less as compared to the price. The only thing I liked was tandoori roti. Food was cold. Dont think Ill order again.
We order from Sheshus at least once per week. The food is excellent. The business is honest and the team of people who work there are courteous and thoughtful. Want some chicken biryani? Eat here. Veg pakora? Eat here. Anything off the menu? Eat here. I heard from a friend that a rival restaurant is offering a free dish if their customers leave a one star review for Sheshu...what a sad way to behave when there is room in Grande Prairie for both restaurants. Royal Curry...stop this shady business practise. It is dishonest and disrespectful. You are probably better than this. Focus on providing beautiful food and great service the way that Sheshu does.
Good customer service, amazing food we had spicy chole Samosas was very delicious there is lots of different Indian dishes Must try ..will be back soon
Myself, my husband and our 17 month old son went to Sheshus for the first time to try something new, and we were not disappointed. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly and happy. We loved all the food we ordered and it was even ready really fast! We will be back again! Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair that is available to use and the staff were so friendly and nice to our son. The waitress even brought him a juice box.
I like to think I eat healthy so when your always on the go its hard find something that fits the bill. I think I did well with this place. The naan bread was chewy by the time i got back to my room saddly. The samosas and curry chicken were great. Looked great, smelled great, tasted great. I ended up only rating 3/4 of the food. Soo id say thats a win. Sometimes when I eat out its not even a filling meal.
Excellent Indian food at a reasonable price.
The butter chicken was not very good. It was more like tomatoe soup to me and the chicken was very dry. The veggie pakora also seem like it was deep fried to long. It wasnt all a Knock, the Garlic Naan Bread was very good and it wasnt expensive. To the owners I would contact The Black Pepper in Martensville for lessons on what good Indian food is.
Good Indian food. Would highly recommend. Friendly staff.
I ve gotten food from here twice based on the reviews I read on Google and both times have been nothing but bad. Let s start with the prices, their food is so painfully expensive, you almost wanna ask for your money back. The portions are so small for the prices- you literally get 5 pieces of lamb/goat meat (mostly fat and bones) in your curry or biryani. I understand people have different ways of making their food but their food has no flavour, just smells good. I love Indian food and I ve tried quite a number of dishes at various restaurants to be able to compare and this is not even in top 5. I wish I could give more stars but that would be a dishonest review.
Excellent food
Awesome food, wonderful service
Eggplant curry was so good!
Must try fish masala...best in Grande Prairie!
I order take out for my hotel and they dont give me cutlery. I phone to ask for cutlery or manager and Indian lady hangs up on me. Nice food, bad service, dirty washroom.
Delicious Indian food, orders ready quick, good portions.
Sheshu s Restaurant is one of the finest dine in and take out ever seen. The food quality is the best. I can still feel the taste. The owner and the staff are well deserving professionals. We wish them all the very best! keep doing the good work. It s my favourite in GP now
Don t have actual spice taste in food
Best Indian food in town and always great service!
Good Indian food
A bit pricey for what you get but the food is delicious! Butter Chicken and Chickpea Curry were both spicy and flavourful. $17/dish - comes with one naan and rice. Service is slow (we were the only people there when we arrived and until we recieved our food). We had to go to the counter to order as the waitress did not come back after dropping off waters nor ask if we were ready to order when dropped them off (we were)
Every meal is a taste of heaven
Best place in GP for Punjabi Indian food. Reasonable price for food and delivery. Goat Korea and Naan very yummy. Food : 5/5
Me and my husband went here, the food was so delicious, the service was so fast, the girl who was serving us, she was so sweet and friendly! People working here are so good! Must Visit and Enjoy your meal!
We love this place, the butter chicken and the chicken fried rice are amazing!!!
Great food, some seating for dining in, but more of a take-out kind of place.
Delicious food with great service. I would definitely recommend the butter chicken.
Good food fast service recommended must try.
Delicious food, and great service!
Food was okay not very good but that serving lady was doing awesome job.Customer service was really good.
Normally I dont write reviews until I am 100% satisfied or not at all satisficed but in this case people who work their dont how to run the business and provide proper customer service. I just went through this restaurant by the review but I was super disappointing by their food and service in shot everything was worst even I would like to give minus 10 review if there is an option. first when I ordered a food the girl said it will ready in 20-30 mins and when I reached there after 30 mins food wasnt ready at all so had to wait 10 mins there that was okay. I was driving to the Fort St john so I have ordered Veg Biriyani and Vada Pav for my dinner and when i reached hotel and opened Biriyani it was Non Veg and that was gross so i thought lets try Vada Pav and it was not even nearly cooked at all. it was all besan and the taste like it was old more than a week or so I dont know how they do business by doing this kind of service and getting this much positive reviews. I am not done yet. After all that I called around 8 PM to explain what happened and the guy said please hold on and in couple second he disconnected the line so I called again and the lady said I am sorry and all that and the she took my name and number and told me my boss will give me a call as soon as possible to give me a refund but its been 4 days now and I dont understand whats the meaning of as soon as possible here. So I would advised everyone just dont go with high hopes. you will get disappointed.
I think they used canned mushrooms lol... The paneer pakora was disappointing. Not sure what theyre serving and calling goat but it did not taste like it either. If you want good Indian food, go to royal curry. This place was a major let down.
The food was really good! Unfortunately they mixed up the spice level for my order (was medium instead of mild) so I had a hard time eating it. Luckily my friend (who got mild instead of medium spice) traded with me. Both meals were really good! (Minus the mouth burning for me lol!) Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options
This is one of the best places Ive ever had traditional Indian Curry. It is delicious and the staff never fail to provide a great experience and delicious meal. Personal favourite is the Mild Palek Chicken, and an order of Rice, and Garlic Naan. They use high quality ingredients and I never have to worry about a dairy allergy with this meal.
Sheshu antie, the food was very good. Thnx
worst service
Very polite shop operators. Very good food, pricing is on point. Service is also very good. Great example of Indian cuisine.
Ordered the butter chicken combo medium spice and it was amazing ! They delivered all the way to Clairmont and the delivery lady was an absolute delight ! Great tasty food and wonderful service ! I ll definitely order again when Im back in the area
We were three guys came for dine in. Ordered some stuff and who was attending us did not guide like how much food we are going to get. He just took the order and came with order. It was just prantha nothing else with that. We order 2 plates and there was only 2 pranthas in 2 plates no yogurt no pickle, nothing. Did not like the service at all. And tea was like it s ginger tea not Indian tea
The food is amazing! Got two dishes, two rice, four samosas, and 4 garlic naan for $84 including tip qnd delivery fee and I now have 4 meals. Worth every penny and was srsly amazing. Thank you!
Tried bada pav today and it was frozen from inside and asked them to fix it, and tasted like they microwaved the new ones, had no crunchy ness
Best Naan ever! Everything is sooo good! We always get it for my work lunch and the execution is never less than perfect! Highly recommend :)
Nice place, have been here twice.... good quality & quantity for price, overall nice experience and good staaf.... but the best part was that they keep halal.. Thanks
Best place to have a Indian Food , Friendly Staff and efficient I will definitely Recommend this place.
Food and service was 5 star.
Looking for an Indian?? You have to try this one! Very good good one of my favorite place in GP
Amazing Indian food, the butter chicken & garlic naan is so delicious, John loves the sweets. Staff is always friendly.
Butter chicken and nan is so delicious
Delicious food! Friendly staff! Huge portions!
Best food in town! The chicken and lamb dishes are so tender and the portions are large. I got little desserts and they were different but very good! I stopped into the market to pick up some spices, hair products and different authentic Indian drinks, the gentleman in the market was so nice and helpful. Recommend this place to everyone.
Friendly staff and very authentic Indian food. Having been to India before - walking in the building with the smells, art, music, and delicious food - it brings me back every time!
Great place for having indian street food. Try there bitter chicken and vadapav. There service is really good. Please try one time, you are not going to regret your decision.
Amazing service..everyone from owner to staff is nice , helpful and always smiling
Best indian food in town..
I popped into Sheshus resturant this morning after checking out the pantry next door. I have not been in my home town since Sheshus has been open so I was excited to try! I ordered medium spicy chicken coconut and coconut rice with Nan and it was 10/10, I would recommend! Service was great and Sheshu is a sweetheart, she asked how I was enjoying my meal and remembered me from when I was a young kid! I love local
The best, most delicious Indian food in all of GP and the staff is wonderful, they make my family and I feel at home every time we eat here. I cannot rave enough about this place!
This is my go to! The beef curry is amazing and the service is always top notch.
Super yummy, great for take out. The Paneer Vindaloo is my favourite!
Fresh food and friendly staff
Hands down best Indian food I ve had. Love their pantry store as well. My family requests this restaurant regularly.
Always excellent food and service! Good quality authentic Indian food!
I love Sheshus. Some of the best butter chicken in town! And they are quick if you are stopping for lunch break!
My butter chicken was first rate, loaded with chunks of char-grillled tender meat in a classic spice-fragrant gravy. Served over rice premium extra-long grain basmati, you could tell, and fragrant in its own right the curry packed a moderate kick, but not so much as to overwhelm the palate. Sheshus is a fresh and flavorful and refreshing change in a sea of hotdogs, pizza and burgers!
This stuff bomb af.
delicious + authentic. The Naan bread is unreal good
Delicious!
We ate this too fast unfortunately didnt took a picture of a food was sp delicious and friendly&kind staff they was helpful and also food was great nice taste also toilet was clean and nice
Solid Indian food for GP. A nice surprise. The most diverse Indian dessert options Ive run into anywhere.
I loved the naan bread and can t get enough. The chicken they cook is so special can t describe it so wonderful!
What Happened? We used to order from here often But after spending over 60 dollars tonight on 3 dishes (butter chicken and coconut beef) The portions we got were ridiculously small and the food had no flavor. I am disappointed that I have to write this review but the quality of this restaurant has gone down drastically.
Wow. I really loved my dinner here. First time and everything was amazing. There was nothing I did not enjoy. The staff were so kind and attentive. I will definitely be back!
I have eaten takeout many times before and always enjoyed it. Today I took a.friend and we dined in. Tandoori chicken and butter chicken were excellent. I always love the curry lamb as takeout.
Fantastic food
Kid-friendliness: Good food for kids.
The food was excellent. And the waitress was customer friendly!!
We tried this place because everyone told us it was one of the best places to eat in GP. I love Tandoori chicken so it appealed to my tastes. Wow was I surprised how good the food was here. The garlic naan alone is worth coming back for. The saffron rice paired perfectly with the Tandoori chicken and the curry we got was incredibly flavorful. If you like this type of cuisine, or even something like Nandos this is totally worth the cost. My meal was $30 (Naan, Rice, 4 Pieces Tandoori chicken, tax and tip).
Order made for delivery..at 20 to 9.....called at 10 no answer NO FOOD AND WIATED FOR OVER AN HOUR
Tonight was Date night. We were greeted with friendly smiles. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. So much so i forgot to take pictures of our appetizer. If you want flavourful food with some kick. This is def the place to go.
Always amazing quality. Food is absolutely delicious!
Great food.
The employees/owners were soooo amazing and accommodating!! We had someone who was gluten and dairy - free and they were very happy to accommodate (plus it was delicious and you couldn t taste a difference). The service was great as well, probably the best in GP!! I definitely recommend coming here!! We will be back
Tandoori chicken was my favourite it came in a sizzling platter, Naan and kadai chicken were also too good. I highly recommend this restaurant for best Indian food.
Our go to place for authentic Indian cuisine! Super nice staff, always delicious authentic food, their butter chicken is to die for! They made ours very mild so that our little one can enjoy it with us. Highly recommended!
Simply amazing tasting food. For a quick and inexpensive lunch try ordering the butter chicken wrap. Parking: Several parking spots are located in front of the store, and there are multiple parking spots in the plaza available as well.
By far some of the best food Ive ever eaten. Staff was very friendly, I cant say enough good things. I will definitely be eating here more often when Im in town.
Really disappointed, food was not cooked properly. Bad experience not recommended.
Free food, good price, great service
Good service, Paneer Tikka is amazing
Food was absolutely delicious! Our new go to restaurant!
Delicious food that makes you want to have more and big portions.
Take out order. 2 person special. Nice selection. Food was great. On time pick up. Very good. Thank you.
So so good!
Went there for lunch today and as always the food was so fresh! The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable about their food choices.
Best place for butter chicken and dessert!!
Delicious curry and naan. Staff were kind and pleasant. Recommended!
Great food great prices
Whoever made it need some training and have some knowledge how to make Indian food .
Mouth watering, perfection with spices and service is outstanding, definitely would recommend to seekers wanting to try Indian food, can order as mild as you want and or order as hot as you desire
We ordered take away. Butter chicken, tandoori grill, briyani rice and garlic naan. All was very good. I d give it 5 stars if I actually had a lamb chop with the mixed grill. But I would still order it again. Yum! Oh and it had large portions!!
So much love for this food! So delicious!
I ordered a mutter paneer with very spicy. The mutter paneer tasted like pepper water. They had pepper powder floating on the mutter paneer entirely. It tasted so bad and also I ordered garlic naan and normal naan, garlic naan was missing I complained about it no response from them. Definitely not going there again
Been there on the way to BC. Nice Shop for quick Indian stuff
Ordered food for my family tonight and we were very very happy with everything. We have eaten Indian food any a few different countries around the world and this is by far one of the best we have ever had. Highly recommended and a must if you are in grande prairie. A+++
We hired them as our wedding caterers recently and they were excellent. Everyone praised the food and service.Their setup was beautiful. Excellent with communication and professional, Sheshu took care of everything and made the day memorable for us. Highly recommended!!!
Sheshus food is great. I keep going back for the veggie samosas. Theyre delicious and the price is fantastic. I will also choose something from the lunch quick serve counter because I usually in a hurry, but Im going to make it a point to go in for sit down so that I can explore some of the other menu items.
Probably the best place for indian food in the city. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Decent menu with a lot of common as well as unique style Indian dishes. This was the first time i was having vada pav ever since i moved into canada. It tasted exactly like the ones you get from small shacks in India. The appetizer has hit the sweet spot leaving the best first impression possible. For the main course, i ordered garlic naan, saffron rice, lamb korma and saffron chicken tandoor sizzler. The naan was superb with crispy edges and very soft texture. The saffron rice was cooked to perfection with very nice flavour of saffron, the rice was very fluffy and non-sticky. The lamb korma was a delecious spicy(not hot) Indian curry with chunks of lamb and potatoes. The showstopper was obviously the saffron tandoor chicken sizzler. Im not a big fan of tandoor chicken as most of the times the meat becomes dry. But this one, was another level, the sizzler style was treat to eyes, ears, nose and obviously the tongue. The meat was so tender and juicy. I also tried a few indian sweets which also turned out really good. Looking forward to go back to GP to eat at sheshus.
I love this place good food good stuff its just perfect
Ordered the vegetable pakora and the combo for two was absolutely delicious 7/10
Great place for Indian food. Loved masala tea and snacks! Staff is friendly and efficient.
Best indian food in grande prairie, always fresh and tasty.
Decent but youve gotta know what your ordering if your from the western culture its hard to understand.
