I was expecting better quality for the price, light on the sauce, very greasy pepperoni that looks like it came from the packages you get on the shelves at walmart that dont need to be kept cool. The pizzas are large so would be good for a bigger function, but for a family supper i would rather have Ramonas or Panago.

Joe s has always been a consistent choice when we are wanting pizza for supper. There firecrust-like pizza is one of the best in town. If pizza isnt your thing, they also have calzones! Keep up the awesome work!

There a scam asked for there $11 donair don t like lettuce tomatoes and onions said I wanted banana peppers black olives and jalapeños they said ok we had 3 donair like that when we went to pay it was $2 a topping everyone s donair was $17 for a mediocre donair such a rip off then the pizza special for walking in was 13.99 for 2 toppings then I asked how much for more toppings and he said you can t have more toppings lmao that place is a joke

Hands down best pizza in town. When you ask for extra cheese or pepperoni, you damn well believe they put it on it. I get the double cheese triple pepperoni and hoooly smokes is it good. The lady that works at night is very kind aswell.

Great pizza. My favorite in GP. They do have a small dining room, but Ive always picked up. Good value for your dollar and delicious crispy crust! Vegetarian options: I know they have veggie options. Not sure if they make gluten free. Parking: Parking is adequate for small dining room and pick up. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: It is on ground level, so wheel chair accessible.

Best Pizza ever

Ordered the pepperoni pizza with dips and omg, the little pepperonis taste so good and are so cute and I was very excited to see that Franks red hot was offered as a dipping sauce, awesome with some ranch! Crust is still soft after reheating as well and taste is just as good. Thanks for the delicious food!

Not sure how this place has a review of 4.6 just tried them for the first time tried one chicken wing gave the rest to the girl and the front desk. I could not get through a half of a small Pizza was bitter and very tasteless with no pizza sauce will never order from them again horrible waste of 35 buck

Great flavor, crisp, thin crust, love the sauce. The crust went soggy due to time required for delivery. We popped the pizzas in the oven for a few minutes. The crust crisped back up beautifully. Would definitely order from here again.

Sliced pepperoni sticks, and bacon bits from a bag, Ordered pepperoni bacon mushrooms and not a single mushroom, recooked wings that were honey garlic recoated with hot sauce. The crust was good I will give em that.

Enjoyed pizza Dawson Classic (Pepperoni, Salami, Ground beef) and Tre Formaggi (Mozzarella, Cheddar, Parmesan). both are delicious. The dough is really light and fresh! Strongly recommend!

Terrible pizza, had tonight waste of money, gave everyone upset stomachs. Should of had a ketchup sandwich

I specifically told them I couldn t order hot wings . They suggested honey , so I agreed. They were very hot. The manager would do nothing about this. They have lost a potential once a week customer. Joe contacted us through email and we were given another meal to try them out. He understood why we were upset. After a few emails we decided to reorder. It was arranged for same order with a wing that would not be spicy. Our son and family came to dinner so we ordered an extra large pizza and wing deal for them as well. When I called the person did not know about the redo, thankfully someone else finally remembered. My husband picked up our order at 6 as arranged. Our medium pizza was supposed to be all pepperoni and bacon with mushrooms on half. My husband has an illness where mushrooms are a no for him. Of course the whole pizza was covered in mushrooms. The wings were excellent. The manager called realizing the mistake and drove over the correct pizza to our house. Food was good, family enjoyed the wings, just wish it had all gone off without a hitch. Thanks Jo for trying to make it right.

Been living in Grande Prairie for over a year now, we have been trying to find our go-to pizza place. Tried Joe s for the first time tonight and my only regret is not finding this place sooner. The pizza was amazing and the honey hot wings had me howling at the moon. Absolutely delicious, the best pizza I ve had in my life. Will definitely be ordering again for our next pizza night!

First time going to Joes Pizza Stone. Went in and ordered. Pizza was hand made and took about 13 mins until done. Pizza was delicious, I had Johns favorite which I enjoyed. Good variety of pizzas to choose from Id probably come back here again! My medium pizza was $14.

The food is always excellent but sometimes there is a topping forgotten . I often ask for a specialty pizza that requires specialty sauce but it gets forgotten sometimes other than that they make great food . They have great flavored sauces and the crust is very good

Very friendly service, food is great. There was a worker making the pizza dough facing my children and I and he specifically waited to see if my son was looking before he flipped the dough up in the air and caught it once he noticed my sons had seen him do it before. 10/10 experience

Dont let the look of this place scare you. What the inside lacks in decor, it makes up in the quality of the food. Pricy, but worth it. Beautiful ingredients and prepared with the utmost of care. Lovely crust on the pizza and crispy yet tender wings. I will definitely return to this hidden gem in the near future.

Just got a Joes Lightning Pizza for delivery. I dont know if Ive had a better slice. Best crust Ive ever eaten. Crisp, but not brittle, chewy, but not soggy. Good amount of toppings, nothing slid off, every bite was tasty goodness. Had a few things from them now and as a recent GP transplant, I gotta say, they are QUICKLY becoming my go-to pizza joint. Joes pizza stone s pizza is absolutely amazing, arguably the best pizza I ve had. But today when I order my pizza with extra pizza sauce, and then I asked again to double check if they put it on, they said yes. And turns out there was little to no pizza sauce on my pizza. I m very disappointed.

Pizza was taken home. It was hot and tasty. Liked the amount if sauce on the pizza. Was not overpowering and just enough not to make the crust soggy. Definately recommend

Im extremely impressed with the pizza and garlic fingers top notch. Id advise to bring shades is a bit bright on the inside like the tims drive threw.

OMG you have to try this place out: super polite and friendly staff Great value $22 for a XL three topper The taste was super fresh apparently he uses home made bacon bits WOW So good The pizza sauce was very fresh as well tell it s not the cheep stuff Crisp crust so tired of soggy pizza crusts And best part is the first pizza was not to his high expectations (a little over cooked but could hardly tell most places would have shipped it off anyways) so he made a new one and when we got there he had 2 pizzas waiting and only charged for the second one Super cool guy Joe is had a 20 minute convo about life and business in Grande Prairie Would recommend to anyone to give it a try Joe WE WILL BE BACK !!! Very great quality food. Walked into the store and got a very welcoming greeting that made me feel at home. They even took the time to explain to us how everything is cooked which was really impressive as he ensures that all of the food was cooked with quality and care. I stopped by around 10 PM on Sunday, hungry and craving a donair. I order a jumbo, pay and as Im sitting down the cook comes around the corner asking for me. I walk up and he says he cant make a donair due to bacon on the grill... But he can make me a donair calzone. Now, Ive had calzones before but...a donair calzone? He assures me that if I dont like it I can get my money back. So I said sure, why not! Fortune favours the bold! I get the box, head home and crack it open to reveal a beautiful golden fried calzone. I pick away at the calzone and the crust is fluffy, almost pastry like with a flavour of buttery goodness. And the flavor of the calzone was...good! Odd...But good! The donair meat was intertwined with cheese, tomatoes and red onion. The calzone was filled to the brim with sweet sauce. They were not skimping on the ingredients in this calzone. However, there are two minor problems I have with the donair calzone... 1. The calzone crust/pastry would be perfect with a traditional calzone (marinara, pepperoni), but with the donair calzone I felt it overwhelmed and clashed with the donair meat. A pita is great on a donair because it takes a backseat and makes the meat, sauce, onions and tomatoes the star of the show. It acts as a vessel. The calzone crust here was competing for the attention of my tastebuds and made it difficult to really taste the donair meat seasoning. 2. I have been farting nonstop since ingestion of the calzone. No nausea or upset stomach...but I have been letting out some of the strongest/loudest farts Ive ever had in my life which also includes university where I would play Edward Forty Hands and eat dozens of McDoubles afterwards. I began timing it and it is a loud fart every 3-5 minutes since Monday morning at 8. It is now 3 PM. Overall what I had tasted good. Id recommend getting an actual donair with pita or a regular calzone with pepperoni and marinara but if you want to rip farts that would make Rupert Gint from his critically acclaimed film Thunderpants blush...get the donair calzone.

The staff were very friendly and genuine! The pizza was photo perfect! Flavour was smooth and satisfying! The location was as clean and organised as any I have seen in years. Thumbs up for my family!

We had 19 people for a family get together, mix some kids and a couple teenage boys in the mix, I figured 4 extra large pizzas and 40 wings may be a bit much, but rather too much than too little! Well, we had 2 full pizzas and a couple wings left, not for lack of effort because the pizza tasted delicious, but they were bigger and were more filling than I anticipated! The price was very reasonable, the pizza was delicious, and it had a lot of substance to it! I will most certainly recommend Joes Pizza Stone and will be back...probably sooner than later!

Got sick from their pizza. Refuses to refund. Expects me to take a credit. I dont want to get food poisoning again so no thanks! I do not recommend them! Theyve turned off reviews so sending a real review on my experience. You should refund me in full for this experience. I never want go eat there so a credit or partial refund isnt going to cut it. Not worth getting sick over!

Very good pizza. Its a next day pizza worthy as well. Toppings are amazing and the slices are so big. We got the mushroom melt and meat madness on a 16 pizza (XL) soooo good. The Pizza is 5 stars all the way. Great crust, great sauce, well proportioned. The inside is super clean. The Donairs however are not their strong suit. Way to much garlic, way too much salt. Its all you can taste. If youre looking for delightful pizza, this is the place. If youre after a donair, Id try somewhere else.

I had heard great things about Joes Pizza Stone and tried it out tonight for my family of 6 adults. They did not disappoint!! As a matter of fact this is the best pizza I think Ive ever had! My hubby and kids agreed. We ordered 4 XL pizzas for an amazing low price and have tons leftover for tomorrow. The owner was there tossing the fresh handmade dough and we had a great conversation. What an awesome human he is! Not only fresh baked dough but perfect sauces on each pizza and fresh ingredients too. The dough is not greasy at all, is crisp and not doughy. Eat here people! You will not be disappointed :)

We ordered a few things and unfortunately most of it went in the garbage The pizza sauce was not good, and the cheese is on the bottom of the toppings, so everything falls off. Chicken wings tasted funky and the poutine had barely any cheese. But the fries and gravy tasted great. Unfortunately we won t be back.

Heard about Joes and couldnt resist. Let me tell you it didnt disappoint. The toppings and pizza are exactly like a hand made pizza should be. The garlic fingers are tasty as well. Staff was great and food was quick. No complaints on product or price. I will ask for cheese on top next to hold all the toppings in place. Great job and here is to much more pizza from this place

First time trying Joes and it was amazing, so amazing had to go back the following week. Second time was not good at all - wasnt fully cooked, half the dough wasnt fully cooked, and pretty much no sauce. Super disappointing.

Tonight, we tried Joe s Pizza Stone for the first time and were absolutely impressed by the food quality, serving size and value. Not to mention a spotlessly clean location and outstanding customer service. We ordered a medium Canadian pizza plus wings ($26 promo), and added breadsticks. All in total was $33 and change. Every aspect of the food was outstanding .. The pizza was done to perfection and the TequilaLime Barbecue sauce for the wings was unique and bursting with flavour and had just a slight spiciness to it. My Grandson stated that the pizza was a 5 out of 5 and the breadsticks better yet, the best he d ever tasted. I wholeheartedly agree with his assessment.

First time trying Joe s. Hubby and I ordered a large 3 topping thin crust with extra sauce and salt/pepper wings for dinner tonight. It. Was. Delicious. Pizza had tons of toppings with lots of cheese and the sauce was flavourful. The wings were big and crispy too. Would have liked for the pizza crust to be a tiny bit more cooked but still very enjoyable. We re new here and are particular about our takeout food so we re happy to have found some good pizza in GP. Thanks for making the $35 we spent totally worth it. We ll be back.
