Good selection of deli cheeses. Some interesting staples; coffee, biscuits, canned goods. Service at the deli counter can be a tad slow. Sandwiches are so-so.

Here visiting family and came for lunch. Great atmosphere and service. I had the Vesuvius sandwich which was delicious. I highly recommend the food and the coffee

Always a 10/10! Best sandwiches, pasta, and desserts in gp by far. The owner and staff are always amazing, customer service always rocks too. Very nice variety as well. As soon as i enter a 1 km radius I start salivating. Would recommend the number 6 (Italian Job), spicy meat, and have it pressed so its hot.

Best sandwich in grande prairie

Ordered takeout - spaghetti bolognese - and was absolutely delighted. I would drink the sauce, seriously, it was that good. Accompanied the lunch with tiramisu and could not have been happier. Service was exceedingly quick. Atmosphere is cozy, slection in store is great, and the smell of freshly cooked sauces and meats is a feast for the nose. A true GP gem.

The Italian Job could have been fantastic if only the bread was fresh!

Nice place to shop and eat

OK I havent eaten that good since Montreal, in the Italian district of St Leonard. They made me a spicy sandwich all Italian meats it was huge and delicious. Possibly the best sandwich I have had in years. I will definitely be going back everytime I am in GP. I recommend you try this place, its literally the hidden gem of GP for deli and bistros. Amazing place with great sandwiches!

I found Calabrias this past summer, and Ive been coming back weekly ever since. Ive been trying a new sandwich every visit and every one has been fantastic. Amazing breads, meats, and toppings with quality and selection you dont see anywhere else in town. Today I strayed and tried the featured individual pizza, and was blown away again. This place is a well kept secret and an absolute must try!

Very nice place. Me and my boyfriend have gotten sandwiches a few times but a Facebook ad made me want to try the eggnog cheesecake and we went ahead and got some cannolis too. They were AMAZING, the cheesecake was great it was lighter than I m used to in a good way.

Delicious food and a fresh experience. When most places all have a carbon copy feeling in Grande prairie, this place stands out. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere gives me family home cooking vibes! Would reccommend!

Great selection of quality meats, drinks you cant find anywhere else, friendly staff, the lunch sandwiches and soups are unmatched. Bring back the TV playing soccer matches though. This is a must visit place.

Fantastic selection of meat, cheese, pickles, and other snacks! Their charcuterie boards are the best in town, and Tony always goes above and beyond to make your experience top-notch. They also host fine dining nights which Im really excited to try - the menu looks GREAT!

Wow!! Hands down best sandwiches ever, we stopped in for the first time and got #8, #11 & #14 every sandwich was amazing and so fresh, definitely don t skip out on getting the Caesar salad on the side too!

Yesterday I stopped in for the first time and wow. They recommended the #11 and it was delicious. Huge fresh potions. I actually finished the other half today for lunch. I usually don t do reviews, but I want everyone in GP to try them out. You will not be disappointed.

This is the best place in whole town to go for sandwiches. Staff members are super polite and welcoming. I ve tried few sandwiches and they are all very tasty.

If you need a boost of serotonin in your day, look no further! What a pleasant place to visit. The food is AMAZING!

Really great cannoli! We tried them at GP nights. We went to the shop the other day, but they were closed well before the posted closing time that was pretty disappointing, because we were looking forward to seeing what else they had to offer! Edit: reply to the owner there was a sign posted saying that the shop would be closed early the day we went, but when we went in,(which was well before the posted time of early closure)the door was unlocked, we went in and the young man told us they were closed. We double checked the sign and our watches, and it was 45 minutes before they were due to close, even with the early closure.

Amazing food! Definitely reminded me of being in Italy. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Such a treasure trove of treats! Dozens of cheeses to try, imported and domestic salumi, soft drinks, and wines and Italian liqueurs now too. I want to try every last thing here but I might have to be carried out. The sandwiches are amazing, such a fun menu (I always order #11 - Le Streghe). The grocery items include pickles from all over Europe, fruit preserves, chocolate spreads, cookies, crackers, and so many pasta varieties and ingredients for sauces. They also make fresh cannoli and daily soups.

The sandwiches were very good, definitely the same standard that I have expected from that place for the last few years The Caesar salad was good and I m quite confident they do a housemaid dressing However, the cannoli was made with an artificial whipped cream, and I found that incredibly disappointing - Not the same calibre of cannoli that I m used to getting from there It was like the whipped cream that you get on top of drinks from Tim Hortons, like the bottom of the barrel artificial whipped cream

I cannot recommend this place enough I had an unfortunate experience with my skip the dishes driver(nothing to do with the restaurant), the owner personally called me to make sure the issue was resolved. The service and food are always amazing, a must try!

My sandwich was not similar to the ones in the other posts. The bread did not taste fresh and the sandwich toppings were lacking.

Long time supporter of this establishment. To say I would be disappointed would be an understatement. I was disrespected on more than one occasion and I will not support this type of behaviour from the owner. Sending a special thanks to Amber for all her great service. They clearly don t care about their product and customer retention. I will never set foot in this store again.

Ordered lunch for the sales staff for Windsor Ford. Amazing food & service, was super fast & accommodating for us! One sandwich was missed and they had it delivered to our door before we even noticed it was missing. 10/10 would recommend everyone to try Calabria!

One of the best hidden gems in grande prairie. A1 service. I randomly checked this place out one day, I got greeted by very friendly and informative staff. Got to try meats and cheeses i was interested in. The woman i talked to had a true passion for her job. Make sure you get on the list for burrata cheese. Wow it was great!

Nice little Italian shop to pick up some Italian staples such as 00 pizza flour, pasta, San Marzano tomatoes, and assorted meats/cheeses. The meatball sandwich was delicious. The staff are friendly as well. Recommend.

Great food, better people. This is the only sandwich shop in GP Ive gone to again and again. Every sandwich on their menu is tasty and unique, and every daily lunch special has been worth it! People are always welcoming and friendly. The owner is a delight to talk to (had a great conversation when the place first opened up).

They make great tasting sandwiches with freshly prepared meats and veggies with great flexibility in customizing your sandwich. The soups are always fresh every day and always taste great. They have a huge selection of deli meats and specialty cheeses. I love stopping by on my way home for lunch the next day.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches/paninis. They have a wide variety of meats and cheese in their deli. Their dishes are fresh and looks absolutely wonderful. Would love to try more of their stuffs soon. They also have a wide variety of Italian products. Great customer service as well.

Worse experience ever at any deli ive ever been to. We came in to buy a bunch of meats, cheeses and pasta items. We were not greeted at all. The owner and an employee looked at us multiple times and didnt say a word. We tried to order the meats and cheese, and the girl working the till said she is only the till girl, she cant help us. The owner just had his back to us the whole time, store was empty. We paid for a couple dry items and left with no meat, cheese or lunch. When this place was Domenicos Deli it was 1000x better. Will never return here.

Tony and his staff over-deliver every time. Had a meat and cheese tray and a pastry tray on the weekend and they were fabulous. Well presented and quality ingredients. Great value for exceptional products.

Awesome service

Do not go here. You will become addicted and spend all your money on sandwiches. The no.3 is phenomenal and a great price for the quality and portion. Instead of eating the garbage at subway support a local place with 10 times better food. My first recommendation for anyone grabbing lunch in town.

This is a gem of a place in Grande Prairie. Whenever we pass through we pop in for sausage and deli meats to take home. In addition to their meats you definitely need to get one of their amazing sandwiches and peruse their shelves of Italian pantry items.

I love this store! We often stop on the way home after work when were craving something Italian, and they never disappoint. Theyre very knowledgeable, friendly, and serve top notch products. Today I was looking for fresh mozzarella and went home with Burrata instead, on the employees recommendation. Its one of the best cheeses Ive ever had. For that reason alone, five stars!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who serve amazing food with love. They carry a lot of specialty imports which are amazing and not something you often find in the north.

This is a relatively small deli and sandwich shop. Ive had two different sandwiches and both were excellent and on fresh bread.

This place is a diamond in the rough. Evrrytime Im in town I go here. With an ever changing selection of cheeses and meats your never disappointed! But better even yet is the service, always greeted with a smile and willingness to help. Do yourself a favour and stop here! I recommend the balsamic onion cheese if they gave it, my favourite.

I love the atmosphere of the Domenicos Deli. Although I only go in there to get sandwiches and have yet to buy their meat/cheeses/etc, the employees are very kind and attentive. Sometimes I wake up and my first thought in the morning is that I need to get the Italian Job sandwich for lunch that day; it is THAT good! I believe last time I was in, one of the owners served me and she was so sweet, informative and talkative. Not to mention she spoke highly of her staff and said she enjoyed slow days so that her staff has a chance to experiment (the result was bacon chocolate chip cookies, which I wish I had tried). Overall, I love this place and will continue going there frequently because of how much I love to treat myself to their amazing sandwiches!! Go in and try one all while supporting local. :)

This place is awesome. Today I got Lasagna soup and Speziato sandwich. OMG! The soup is delicious. I get excited for lunch when I get to eat there. Highly recommend any one trying this place.

I woke up and really wanted a good sandwhich. Googled to see if there was a good deli in Grande Prairie and saw this place. So the mission was set and to the roads i set off. Upon arriving the staff greets you immediately with a smile. Helpful in any questions. I got 2 sandwhiches with some customization with no problems. The speed at which they made the 2 sandwhiches was impressive as well! Good organization. Now the Taste Test: First bites reaction W-O-W!! The feta veggie spread along with all the shaved deli meats was to die for. I will be going back many many more times when i need a sandwhich fix. Thanks Domenicos Deli!

Very good homemade sandwhichs

Cant get enough of the fresh sandwiches, homemade cannolis and the pear juice. This place has a crazy selection of meats and cheeses and the owners are so generous with the samples. Love how there is a dine-in option but the seating is limited and this place has been getting increasingly slammed especially during lunch hours so this is something to plan ahead for!

Great service, good sandwich... before heading to the park give it a try.
