Chicko Chicken in Grande Prairie

The food was great. The chicken is very moist and tender, and the sauce flavors they use are delicious. The only possible downside would be that just under half of the available flavors are spicy, so if you are the type that needs to avoid spicy things your options will be slightly limited. However I still think you should try them out if you get the chance.

estimated wait time was 10-15min but it turned into 30min because they forgot to make my order until I walked back in to pick it up. I was the only walk in at the time.

Excellent Korean fried chicken and fries! Buldak sauce had just the right amount of heat.

Parking: I like this place so much. Whenever I visit, the staff is so friendly and the chicken is fantastic. I should recommend everyone to eat this whenever you go outside. Food

Best place in town for authentic Korean fried chicken. So good and the portion sizes are out of this world. Love the yangyeom flavour. Sweet, savoury and slightly spicy.

This is was great spot discovered. The chicken was super tasty and so good. I enjoyed my order of yangnyeom chicken. Bought it 3 times in one day and shared with family. Everyone enjoyed. Good food! I will definitely be going back. Food

We went to this Korean fried chicken place, and it was amazing! The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We had different flavors like spicy, sweet, and spicy. The portion sizes were generous. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. We ll definitely be coming back for more!

Decided to try them today. So glad we did. The restaurant is clean and open. The gentleman who greeted me was friendly, seemed extremely proud of his restaurant and informative he didnt not make me feel rushed with my question he explained there chicken is fresh, not frozen which I appreciated. And when I mentioned I was nervous to try their spicier chicken. He explained how I could try it as a dip. Very glad he did. Because I LOVED the Buldak sauce and the shake shake fries are not only tasty but fun. we WILL be back often

Ate here one time when they first opened. Was pretty good and the chicken was crispy. Have tried to go back and order 3 times now in the restaurant. I forgot how bad the place smells everytime I was there. I had to walk out due to the smell all 3 times. Couldnt get myself to eat there since my shoes were sticking to the floor from the second i walked in. The place smells like dirty feet.... you have been warned... I really tried my best to like this place... its gross

A Korean chicken experience that GP needed and one should try, it is a bit pricey. While I lived in Calgary, I discovered Korean chicken. It quickly became my favorite food. My excitement was high when I was told about chicko chicken. During a night with friends, we ordered one flavor of chicken. During my time in Calgary, I had some expectations. The sauces were delicious, the Haek Buldak was always my favorite, and they nailed it. Its sticky, sweet, and spicy. We also enjoyed the rest, the soy garlic being the others favorite. My only issue is the price and my experience with other Korean chicken places, I was expecting more chicken for the amount you pay. While the food was great, Ill be coming back, just not as often as I would be... which might be for the best for my wallet and waist.

The flavour of the chicken is unmatched by any other restaurant in GP. Always a fresh batch. Typically no longer than a 15 minute wait at most, which is worth it for the freshness. The staff are kind. Parking: In front of the building. Typically not busy enough to not get a spot.

This is the closest to authentic Korean friend chicken you will find anywhere. The staff was really friendly, and the chicken was fantastic. Will be back for sure!!

The employees were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the 2 famous sauces: yangyeom and soy garlic. The flavors are incredible, but I expected a lot more crunch for Korean fried chicken, so I think a little bit more fry time would make it perfect. I was surprised that the boneless chicken portions were large, which makes it reasonable for what you pay for.

Shake shake fries are to die for!

Was excited to have Korean chicken again as I love to try new places and local. It was nothing at all to brag about. Plus for the price $20 and portion size of fries it was a huge disappointment. Coop does better and way cheaper so it s not the price of meat and oil. I will not be back.

Amazing chicken! Grande Prairie has a million chicken restaurants but finally we have a good one. Great Job Chicko It doesnt have that gross greasiness that a lot of other chicken places have.

First and foremost the chicken is definitely better than any other place in Grande Prairie. Its actually crispy, and the seasoning and dressing is great. Its a true, Korean-style chicken place. Not only that but the atmosphere is welcoming and the cashier was very polite and patient.

Just great. I ordered a Half & Half with Haek Buldak and Yangnyeom and it was just perfect. The Buldak was actually spicy and very flavourful. The Shake Shake Fries (250 G) were crispy and the seasoning was delicious.

Chicken is delicious! Its made to order, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but its worth it! Got 2 flavours, the Yangyeom and the Padak Padak, half orders of each was good for 2 people! The chicken was super crispy even when sauced, and it was nice and moist inside! Also, get the pickled radish cause its a good palate cleanser! Will definitely be back! Edit to add: You can also call ahead for pick up if you dont want to wait! :)

Very tasty and cooked to order! Yangyeom was perfect blend of sweet and spice. Crispy wings coated individually. I was so impressed because ordered a half order of bone in wings (says 8-9 pieces). Restaurant called me to say they forgot a wing in my order. I never would have noticed. This is impeccable customer service! Great job Chicko Chicken! Will be back to try all your flavors:)

Nice to see this type of chicken place thriving in gp. Chicken is always made fresh. Decent amount of chicken for the price and so far all of the sauces i have tried have delivered on flavour. Of note, the staff are friendly and a pleasure to deal with... Threw in some extra sauce to make sure i received full flavour on the garlic soy order. Recommend to anyone having a hankering for fried chicken

The tastiest, juiciest and crunchiest chicken is here! We tried the half and half to try out two flavors and they had good heat and really good flavors. Also the fries are also really good! Food

We were waiting to place our order at lunch. The only people in line. Two staff behind counter cooking. We waited for 14 minutes for them to finally acknowledge us only to be told its a half hour wait due to online orders. Why couldnt they have told us that in the first place instead of wasting our time? Very rude. Wont go back.

Very tasty, a pleasant change from the salty fried chicken everyone sells. I wasnt what I was expecting with the chicken chunks. I will order the boneless next time. Online app needs to be updated, wont even install on a newer android phone.

I cant speak to atmosphere or service because we used Skip the Delivery (boy! Are they getting LAZY!) Chicken was tasty....but not super amazing. The plain chicken was actually quite blasé. Buldek was nowhere near as spicy as purported. Fries were crispy...but the idea of adding cheese flavored powder kinda took away from the value. When we think Korean we think robust flavours....this missed the bar, unfortunately.

Chicko is becoming my new favourite take out in all of gp!! Love it!!
