Great food. Great atmosphere. One of my favorites.

I was surprised at the gem this establishment is. Had the Yorkies appy, Chicken Alfredo, and a coconut coffee. Will definitely recommend and return.

Amazing brunch and beautiful Christmas decor. We loved the bunny tree! We didnt have a reservation but many tables were on a Ssturday. Our food was filling and fresh. When we visit Grande Prairie this is our fave location!

Food amazing. But don t make the mistake of expecting any degree of descent service. By far the worst wait staff I ve come across.

Food was good, but the service is so terrible. Took 35 minutes to get a drink, the server never came back to check on us. Took and hour and a half to get our food. Thank god the food is good, because the service massively needs work.

The most creative and delicious menu that I have found in all of Grande Prairie area. If you are a foodie and you happen to be anywhere near Grande Prairie you should check this place out

Loved this place! So many options to choose from, good sized portions, and delicious food.

If I could give zero stars I would ! The owner yells at costumers, and his own employees and takes there wages and tips if they spill anything. Constantly makes the waitresses cry and yelled at a pregnant women and made her cry aswell.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Came here for lunch with my boyfriend as we always do and this time we had a TERRIBLE time with a side of PTSD. I had ordered the daily special which was the pulled pork sandwich with a side of soup. I asked for my soup to come out first and the server didnt mind. The soup was awesome but when getting my pulled pork sandwich I took a bite and I could hardly chew or even swallow it. It was not edible and was like eating sand paper. I was nice about it and asked if I could just get it replaced with a new sandwich as I had had their pulled pork before but never this dry. The server then requested for me to give back the pulled pork sandwich so she could show the owner in the kitchen. After 30 minutes of waiting, I still didnt get my replacement and the server is nowhere to be seen. As I look over in the kitchen, the server is getting yelled at by the owner with his hands going up in the air. This poor girl was almost crying... after another 10 minutes, the owner then come to our table and explains that I wont be getting a replacement and I still have to pay for the sandwich I didnt eat and took back into their kitchen. His voice was very loud with me and being 5 months pregnant I started to get emotional. He explains that this is not a place to get free meals rudely, and treated us like we were less than. Mind you I didnt ask for a free meal, I asked for it to be replaced, thats it. My boyfriend then steps in and asks him to stop talking to me the way he is talking to me and that it was very unacceptable, he then looks at my boyfriend and yells for us to leave. He then proceeded to ask us to pay our bill which was $80, we were charged separately for our soup and I still had to pay for the pulled pork meal I never got to eat. I have never seen this guy here before, but the atmosphere of the restaurant yesterday was very bad, it is probably because he is there and is verbally abusing his workers any chance he gets, a long with paying customers. As we were getting ready to leave the table beside us were also having the same issue because their salad was not made proper. He then proceeded to tell them they still had to pay for it, again, even though they didnt eat the salad. The lady with the salad also was very upset and he proceeded to get very loud with her. The server then comes up to us with the bill and we proceeded to pay because we felt bad for her, I told her she shouldnt deal with anyone talking to her that way and I asked if she was okay, and she started to cry... we cash tipped her $40 and paid for our $80 meal. We only paid because we were scared he was going to make the server pay for her tables, he seems like the type. This is not how workers or customers should be treated and this owner needs to attend anger management along with learning how to talk to women with child, and his own workers. I feel bad for anyone that has to work for this guy. He has no idea how to run a business and he lost a lot of customers this day.

Went to Jefferies Cafe on a recomendation. What a bad mistake. To wait for 15mins to take our breakfast order, when food was delivered no cheaking from the waitress when food was finally delivered . about 20 mins. My dish was cold along with someone elses in our party of 4. I called the waitress to tell her my food was cold She asked if i would like a replacement in which i said no because of time. I asked ro talk to the manager In which i was given the starr manager. I was not satisfied with the outcome of the bill. They had only given me 15% off the eggs benny and nothing off the other dish. The manger said it was company policy and there was not anything she could do. I disagred and walked out. It is not a place i would return and also tell other people my bad bisness policy. Bad way to busniness. Cold food and bad servicing and bad managment.

Had breakfast with the fam whre we all loved our food and especially the Coconut Macchiato Latte.

Waited ten minutes for someone to come take our drink order, then had our food delivered. They got my order wrong but no one came by that I could tell, so I just ate it. No one came to check on us until we were finished and they took our plates and got the bill. They added an extra four dollars onto the bill for the food I hadn t ordered. I asked for a correction and they weren t that nice about it. Worst service I have ever had at Jeffrey s. disappointing for such an expensive meal.

It is a cute environment and the coffee was good. I ordered the eggs Benedict based on a Facebook post that it was the best . It was hands down the worst I have ever had. The English muffin was barely toasted, they used bacon rather than back bacon or ham but that was nowhere near the worst part. The hollandaise sauce tasted like chicken gravy, the most bizarre and awful eggs Benedict I have ever had.

Such a cute place with amazing staff and delicious food! Looking forward to eating here again!

Indifferent staff took too long to sit us so we went to Major s Family cafe instead, who sat and served us immediately.

Do not try to use Jeffrey s for catering. We tried from at least October of 2023 (probably sooner) to May of 2024 to get them to answer us regarding catering for our wedding and they completely ghosted us. We had to cancel our venue because Jeffrey s has the catering rights over it and we could not get in touch with them. Many emails, phone calls and social media shoutouts were left unheard, I even went in person and spoke to someone and they still wouldn t get back to me! Why advertise catering and hold rights over a venue if you can t manage it? I have heard from many others the same frustrations when it comes to catering. Do not trust them with catering.

Terrible service

Ive never experienced such terrible customer service. No greetings, one word answers, she walked away while I was ordering, came back 10 min later to finish the transaction. Its a shame, cause the place is very cute and the atmosphere is really nice. Jayden, maybe the service industry isnt for you.

Service was slow. Waiting 10 minutes for a waitress to first come.e to the table. Had a cookie that was as hard as a rock and unable to eat. Disappointed as usually this is a good establishment. Food

Super loud and tight. My first time going and not impressed. Table has not been wiped. I received a dirty mug for my tea. Warm water, with bubbles/ lil foam & No ice in the water. when I specifically asked lots of ice, only chance of seeing ice is with soda, I didnt even bother to look at price. Washroom was hard to get to and not very clean, tissues over filled. Seeing the state of the the table and mug I was very hesitant when it came to eating my meal.. If you must order to-do, at least the dish will be clean?

We ordered catering through Jeffreys and they really pulled through for us. I made a mistake with the date of the event, placing it a day after the event, they were able to rectify eveything and have it delivered to us when we needed it. The food was great and they were amazing professionals!

I had a good experience here. Me and my wife are vegetarian and vegan respectively, and found lots of options on the menu. The portions werent small either! Our server Chiko was really great as well, providing us prompt and friendly service. A nice place for a casual or business lunch, for sure.

It was my first time visiting this place and unfortunately I did not have a good experience. It was lunch time, i put in my order. An hour later I still didn t receive my order and my server checked and said they lost my order and are making it now. I waited an additional 20 mins and when I checked in again they said it would be more time. I had no more time to wait and stated I needed to leave. Was looking forward to trying this place out and due to this experience I likely won t be back.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now and usually the cheesecakes are good but this time they however were not. Dinner was good, really please with the cauliflower salmon bowl. But the cheesecake fell flat. For a $12.75 slice I expect it to be fresh and it was not. The crust was watery and the outside was hard. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Fresh Always and

So a year ago my husband and I drove to GP for a weekend. Made reservations for an 8 o clock dinner. It was confirmed via yelp. Upon arrival at 7:55 we were told by hostess we could not be seated as the restaurant was closing at 9 0 clock. We pointed out that we had a confirmed reservation and she basically said there wasn t anything she could do, however we could order take away which we didn t want to do. Now today a year later on our drive into GP I checked the website and it states the restaurant is open to 9 o clock. We booked a reservation for 8 o clock and received a confirmation for that time. We walked there from our hotel for that time. The door was locked and when we tried calling into the restaurant, no one would pick up. Seriously, we wanted to give you guys a second chance but you have royally missed that opportunity for us. Improve your website .. get real please. If you close at 9 state that, however, if you stop having guests before that time patrons need to be aware of that info. BTW we weren t the only customers turned away by a locked door tonight.

Great breakfast! Good healthy selection of just the traditional meals! Great friendly staff always make sure you are looked after! The bakery is amazing with lots of items you can get to go! The carrot cake is amazing. We always take a big slice to go. Also, they have a nic nac corner with coffee cups, travel jugs, soap, socks, dish cloths, kitchen wear, a little bit of everything, a neat spot for sure!

Quite the busy place. A bit of a wait to get in and the prices are fairly high. Typical for a gourmet Coffee and Bistro. We ordered the Coconut Macchiato and a Café Mocha. Both were delicious. Staff was courteous and helpful

We had our wedding in the loft here, they were very accommodating. Lance and his team were amazing from the setup to the food, everything was on time and done right, all our guests loved the atmosphere and left full and happy.

Ive been frequenting Jeffreys for years now, but this was my first time coming in for dinner. I came in with a group of 10 of us. Reservations were made much in advance and when I requested the bartop tables, it was failed to be mentioned that not all of us would be able to sit together. That was the first disappointment; and the staff was unwilling to accommodate once we got there and saw this. Five of us ordered drinks that were absolutely horrid. I wish the waitress would have suggested a better options, as they usually do. When two of the girls asked to get different drinks, they were told that they may order another drink, however, the current drink would not be taken off their bill. Weve been to much higher end restaurants all around town and these restaurants are always willing to replace a drink if a customer does not like it. Their policy and awful customer service was absurd to us. That was something I absolutely did not expect. The waitress and what I assume was her manager were not very friendly. I also ordered a coffee after this whole debacle and never got it. By that time, we were disappointed and felt uncomfortable by the staff, so we left. Not sure what was going on a Jeffreys, but do better.

Came here for breakfast hoping it would somehow much the effort they try to put in with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Been contemplating if I should leave a review but if no one would say anything then they might not do anything to level up their game. Those mason jars need some serious cleaning! Who would want to drink their water out of that filthy jar? Coffee was horrible and waited too long (at least 30 minutes) for our food to be served even though the restaurant wasn t busy. Egg was cold and there was only 2 strips of bacon on the plate for a simple breakfast for $17 and as you can see in the picture, the potatoes were so oily and dead and was too salty too. The Italian turkey sausage was dry whom our server suggested that it s good ( i guess she has a different idea of good from not) and by the way, she lacks the energy in serving and probably didn t even bother to pass the message to her manager or people in the kitchen about dissatisfied customer with their food. Obviously just went to work to get paid but no concern for the business to make sure people leave the place happy for a possible repeat customer.

It is truly unfortunate that I have to write this review. This establishment has a wonderful atmosphere and is clearly organized to in a thoughtful manner. HOWEVER, ive been met with the *rudest* woman to have graced the city of Grande Prairie. I write woman in quotation marks because I am still unsure whether or not she is simply a manifestation of hell. She has the eyes of my sleep paralysis demon and no amount of Michael Jackson music played through these speakers will make my day better. to be 100% honest what she said, but it was rude

Definitely the best restaurant in Grande Prairie. The chef that created the menu is a true artist and its very refreshing to find such a great place with amazingly prepared food with fresh ingredients all the way up in Grande Prairie. There are some incredible restaurants and chefs in the Kelowna area where I am from and this place is neck-and-neck with the best of them in my opinion

Went here for valentines and it was a rip off, littlest portions of 4 foods entrees the size of my eyeball then a subpar main for 100$, absolutely not worth it

We got in at 11:40 am, we were put on a waitlist for a half an hour, we then waited the half hour, and a lady then came to tell us that we could not have a table. Very terrible service. Maybe don t get people to wait a half hour if you re just going to tell them to leave after the half hour is up.

Absolutely disgusted at the service by the owner and manger of this restaurant, would not recommend.

The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The young lady who stepped in while our original server was on break had a friendly disposition, which aided her in upselling us to taking cheese cake with us for later. All around it was a good experience. This is also a rather expensive restaurant. I will be back to treat myself and my family again.

While the food we ordered was delightful, the service had an unusually swift pace. The frequent inquiries about additional orders or bringing the bill made us feel a bit rushed, creating an atmosphere that seemed geared towards a quick departure.

I went here for a coffee instead of the tim hortons drive thru before heading out on the road, never having been here before and the girl at the front counter was less than friendly. I didnt care about her attitude initially (because I dont know if her grandma just died, maybe she just got reamed out by her employer, or maybe she has a horrible diagnosis- I give a lot of grace to people realizing people may be going through a lot- and she looked youngish - maybe 20s) but ultimately this is a customer service job she is in and the last straw for me was when she brought my coffee and set it on the counter without saying a word, so I dont even know its sitting there or is mine and Im just waiting and waiting. When everyone else has gone away and Im standing there and that the cup is just sitting there, I realized it must be mine, and I then stood there waiting to find out how to get cream and sugar. A patron came in and approached the counter so we chatted, she asked if I was in line and I told her Im just looking for cream and sugar station. A few mins later a guy came up and asked who should be helped first and the lady told him that Im looking for the cream and sugar station and he said that is supposed to be done by them when they fill it. The girl who took my order didnt even ask, and never having been there before I dont know their process, so when she put the coffee down without saying a word and when I finally realize it is mine, then having to wait so long to get someone to add cream and sugar to it, that by the time I drank it, it was lukewarm. Im not even a fan of Tim Hortons but I guess this is why they always have a lineup! I love to support local but I always prefer to go places where I dont get attitude from staff in customer service roles, or confusion and fuss for an expensive but tepid coffee 20mins later when I could have been 20mins closer to home already with a still hot Tim Hortons coffee! Frankly, I wouldnt even be leaving this review if the service hadnt been so poor.

The servers don t check on you after getting your food, and don t come around to refill my coffee or water. I needed a steak knife for cutting my food and only saw someone when I was almost done my food (I had to struggle cutting with a butter knife). It s a chore to walk through narrow Isles and a sea of people to get to the bathroom. My wife can t have bread, and tried to substitute for something other than toast, the waitress said that would be $6 so my wife ask for a deduction for not having toast, Nope we don t do that here nice way to treat someone who can t eat gluten We had to ask twice for the bill. The water jug had floaties in it, when we said something the Waitress just Stared at it and didn t say or do anything.

Great food and great atmosphere! I love how they have a little gift shop and cafe in the restaurant, nice if you want a treat to go or you need a gift. And the ice cream across the lot is amazing!

Food took 40 mins to serve a sandwich caesar salad. The salad doesnt even taste like one because its oil-based then the server basically said that they dont serve it with caesar dressing. Epic fail by this establishment.

The farmers breakfast with sausage, eggs, potatoes, and sourdough toast were all very good.

Walked in and waited to be acknowledged by literally anyone for what seemed like forever. Tried to return a christmas gift that broke the first time it was used. Didnt have a receipt, but they knew it was one of their products. She was super unfriendly so I gave her back the same energy. Wont be back. Overpriced garbage.

Great flavors

This used to be my families favorite little local eatery in grande prairie. We stayed even through the numerous menu changes and tried new meals. Some were okay, but the quality has definitely declined over time unfortunately. The service and food. Tonight, i took my family out for my hubbys birthday and i decided to try a new dish... (I watch out for anything particularly spicy as it aggrivates pregnancy symptoms pretty awful, i figured the stir fry was a safe choice )while my family got their regular meals. I read the menu carefully and noticed it just sounded like a normal teriyaki stir fry and upon getting it, it tasted awful and it was very spicy. I took maybe a bite or two and asked my hubby to try and he said it was bad too and was way too spicy even for him. So i put it to the side and the waitress finally asked if i wanted it boxed up after passing our table a number of times. I explained it wasnt what i expected and she took it away and came back to tell me they would only offer 25% off the dish. A dish i didnt eat. No where i have ever eaten has been that inconsiderate, they didnt even try to offer something else. The manager came over and explained it was an in house made sauce, very well, i know how to read, and offered 30% off desert that we had no interest in. I didnt even eat. No where did it mention spicy and finally after back and forth of maybe 4x with her talking to the kitchen and calling the owner etc, she finally removed it. This place really doesnt cater to their customers. I have personally worked in many restaurants and have always had those places cater to their customers sensitivities and allergies etc. I wont be coming back.

Not a good dining experience. Waitress forgot a drink and a starter we were going to share. No one checked on us once we placed our order and got our drinks, nor did they check on us once we got our meal. Towards the end when we were chatting the music turned up to a level we couldnt hear each other talk nor could the waitress hear us when she came to ask if we wanted the bill.

Great little gem in GP

Mmmmm I had the pulled pork sandwich with maple coleslaw; This sandwich had me licking my fingers after! This restaurant is a gem in Grande Prairie and I wish there was a spot here in Calgary. Every time I go this place is so banging that there s a bit of a wait! But totally worth it. Servers friendly, atmosphere bright and open and food is phenomenal. Highly recommend

Got the prosciutto & Parmesean eggs Benedict. With a white chocolate mocha and everything was PHONOMIMAL. Best breakfast Ive had in a very long time.

Very good food and prices, just wish they had more café style options, premade sandwiches and salads for a quick to go lunch. Oil field style bagged lunches last summer would have gotten a 6 star review. Three years later, still very good but published open hours are wrong, they say they at open till 8:30pm but wouldnt seat us at 8:10.

Celebrated a mutual birthday and tried the spinach dip which came with chips and naan, and their Butter Chicken which is savory and not spicy. I also had a Blueberry Mojito! We loved the food and stayed for close to 2 hours! Highly recommend. (Oh and the Snickers Cheesecake was excellent) Dietary restrictions: Exceptionally accommodating for dietary restrictions

I gave this place two tries. The food is not prepared well and its very expensive. My chicken breast was overcooked and rubbery, the roasted potatoes are so over seasoned you cant eat more than a couple of them, the burger patty tastes like cheap sausage meat - they have everything else to make a great restaurant except the food. They have decent ingredients and recipes, executed poorly in the kitchen. I expect a lot more in much cheaper restaurants. Maybe allocate some of the fancy decoration money to a higher wage for a qualified cook.

Nice place, service slow, food way too expensive. $50 for a hamburger and quesadia and an additional $10. for a piece of cake. Not the nice, quaint Cafe it used to be.

Delicious coffee. Extremely friendly and chatty staff that will make your day. A wide variety of cakes/ pastries that are freshly baked. The only two downsides is that its a bit of a wait to get your order and, the takeout order area is a bit cluttered. I never tried any food but from what I heard its delicious. Would recommend to friends and family.

Worst experience ever.

Jeffreys Cafe deserves five stars! Their local bison burger had a tasty patty, although the bun was a tad dry. Kudos to the friendly and helpful waitress. The cozy ambiance rounded up a great dining experience.

HUGE portion sizes at breakfast! Great environment, friendly service, and classy establishment

When lines are blurred! As it was my first time visiting this establishment I had no expectations, but upon arriving I instantly was flustered as I wasn t sure if it was a restaurant, a cafe or a Knick knack store. I wasn t sure where the line starts and where to make myself small enough to squeeze in without interrupting others or bumping into the breakables for sale. Eventually when I did figure out where to order no thanx to the staff, I got the soup and grilled cheese (tomato bisque) which turned out to be an ok grilled cheese nothing spectacular and the tomato bisque was a mixed vegetable soup with a tomato base, I also got a chai and desert, which both were ok. The demographic of customers looked basically like middle aged to older bougie Caucasian women with the odd young hipster couple. All in all was it a warm and welcoming atmosphere? No Was it confusing? Absolutely Would I go back ? Probably not Would I recommend it? I think I can get better value for my money elsewhere.

A friend recommended Jeffrey s after we tried their ice cream across the street. While the ice cream was just ok, I really liked the cafe across the street. We purchased their beef lasagna twice this week and it s probably one of the best lasagnas I ve ever had. One $40 lasagna provided 4 meals for two people. We also purchased the Oreo and pumpkin cheesecake for take away. Both were very good. Just sad I don t have a Jeffrey s in Calgary.

I ordered the nacho box and they forgot to add everything but the chips and cheese . When I let them know there was no offer to fix it and no reply when I emailed about it. Service has never been very attentive or friendly for me. Good coffee but will order directly from Fratello.

Great coffee, great food, and great vibes!!

Unfortunately the menu has become extremely rigid and absolutely no substitutions were allowed. If substitutions were permissible upcharges were fairly steep ($5 and up) Whether it was the newer waitstaff who unfortunately was uninformed and inattentive or just a new set of policies is unclear. We felt like an inconvenience, especially the elderly guest in our dining party. Jeffries has been a staple in our community for close to two decades, and unfortunately recent experiences have been less than stellar including mine today. Lastly, if you have the inclination to make any suggestions or offer any form of criticism of your experience you will be told to not eat here or eat somewhere else.

I was excited to try Jeffrey s after hearing stellar reviews from multiple people, and perhaps it was just an off-day but my customer service and meal experience was the worst I ve had in memory. I ordered butter chicken which had one single very small nugget of chicken. When I mentioned it to the server she didn t apologize or offer to return it to the kitchen all she said was oh . I had to prompt her to show any care or concern and even then it was reluctant at best when she said she d tell the manager. No manager came to follow up and I had to force the issue to deal with it by telling her I wasn t going to eat butter chicken that had no chicken. While the meal I didn t eat was removed from our bill the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I d be hard pressed to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My wife bought a piece of what was fresh cake home for a dessert- was HORRIBLE DRY With a 1/2 inch of Butter for icing and no flavour. This is not the first cake from here but the Very LAST!!!! Food

Absolutely stunning restaurant to go in the day and evening. The food their is delicious. The service and the shopping is awesome while you wait. The prices though for the items you shop are a bit much but you are paying for quality and some items are hand made so I can see why the prices are so high. Definitely worth it to take the ladies on a lunch or go on a date. Very romantic vibes with the atmosphere. Worth the money for the ambiance, the food and the vibe. A real gem in GP.

I have tried Jeffreys many times over the years in hopes that the food and service would improve. I like to support local however its hard to do when constantly being disappointed. Last night we though wed give it another try. Although our server Sarah was fantastic to deal with and just the sweetest, the food was mediocre at best and way overpriced. One of the meals came out entirely over seasoned and was inedible. Two bites were taken of it and it was sent back. Management only offered 50% off to compensate and the food was not eaten or taken with us. Thats absolutely absurd in my opinion. I dont know of anywhere in town that would charge someone for a meal that they were dissatisfied with and didnt even eat. We even witnessed people sit down to only leave 15 minutes later after not being served and saying they would try somewhere else. Its sad to see in our community and I hope Jeffreys takes this feedback to do better.

Incredibly rude staff. Unhelpful, have an aire of superiority, an unfortunate attitude and do not understand or acknowledge what customer service is. I have tried this place many times thinking it will get better, as I like to support the independent, using them for delivery for business meetings. It is a shame as the food is slightly better than average. I will not be using them again. Do not recommend.

Nice tall windows with natural light, appreciate the aesthetic inside. Had the mushrooms on toast for breakfast. Tasty, fresh, vegetal. Was craving something like savoury sauce, for example béarnaise sauce, etc with it but just my preference, otherwise really tasty. Lots of keto options on the menu, which is uncommon but nice to offer. Giftstore in front with cute home items, bathrooms are nice too. Dietary restrictions: Have lots of keto options

I want to enjoy coming here because the food is good but the service just ruins the experience. When you have to get up to find your server, it s just not worth the price of their menu in my opinion.

Word on the street is there is a bounty on good service, ive failed to find it at jefferies. They seem to have a revolving door with waitresses and im unsure why they cant keep good staff down. The girls at the front are very friendly but seem new and not well trained. Also the food is pretty good EXCEPT, the hollandaise sauce and the ketchup. Why do we need to reinvent ketchup and egg sauce? Please for the love of god just give me some regular ketchup. Its too fancy. Otherwise good food thank you. The meal deals are excellent also. I was hoping to get some brunch as my cheat meal this weekend; I was waiting till closer to 3 so it would be warm when I needed to eat it and they told me they would not make it for me because they stopped brunch. I have provided a photo of my sent call log as I called at 2:15 to confirm brunch was until 3 pm, and then again before 3 to order for pick up. They also informed me that if I was at the restaurant at 2:50 ordering that they would have made it for me but since I am picking it up it would not be able to be done. I do not understand the customer service here at all as what I was asking was not even out of their way to do so. They were polite on the phone but gave no reason as to why they were saying no to a paying customer before brunch was even finished. Very disappointing.

Jeffreys used to be my favorite eatery; the food was well made and was different (and better!) than the overabundance of chain restaurants hands down - they werent cheap but they were worth it. We still hope for the best when we go but its been some time since the quality has been there. Sandwiches with dry, chewy meat and little flavor; tough ribs that I wouldnt recommend at half the price; a charcuterie board/partially filled box that looked nothing like they advertise. Moreso lately theyre not on time with pickup orders, like not on time by half hour longer than they say. I think weve tried enough as far as chances go - its just sad as we know what they used to be like. Also, beware that when you order online theyll automatically add a 15% tip - for lackluster food at already high prices and the only service required is for it to be made on time. Which its not. Too bad, truly.

Superb! I am actually surprised at some of the reviews. We had nothing but excellent service and fantastic food! The amount of food for the price was very reasonable - everyone came out full satisfied with no room for desert. There food came out quick after order and was very tasty. We had burger/salad (very tasty filling salad), soup and turkey club and more. There is a cute little store with great little gift items and some amazing deserts. If we are back in Grand Prairie we will be back for sure!

Love Jeffreys and their staff! My regular is the Moroccan Sun Salad, its a large salad that is filling.

Jeffreys is one of my favourite places in Grande Prairie. They have excellent food options for lunch or dinner. Additionally, they have a great selection of coffees and desserts. Only giving 4 stars as sometimes the service is a little slow over lunch hour and makes it difficult to go there if you have a tight timeline and there is limited parking. Overall, it is a great local restaurant worth trying out!

Amazing service, great food, and a really nice ambiance. Highly recommend trying this place out whether youre looking for a quick cup of tea or a sit down meal.

Allow me tell you the tale of the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I was told that prime rib was the nightly special, so I ordered that. I was surprised when the waitress didnt ask how I wanted it done. I assumed it would come medium rare since thats usually the standard. What was placed in front of me was not medium rare. It was more of a medium or medium well. I asked for it to be sent back so that I pull have a piece that was medium rare or rare. The manager came out with a new cut of prime rib that was barely more pink than the last. Thr manager told me it was all they had left of their featured prime rib at 7pm on Saturday night. It looked edible so I said it was fine, but then I cut into it and it was the toughest, driest prime rib I had ever tasted. I asked for menu so I could order something else and ordered the smoked salmon Flatbread from the manager and was told it would be right out. Half an hour later, after I had eaten scraps from the rest of my table and they had finished eating, I was brought a shrimp habenero Flatbread, which is not what I ordered. I had hoped that after having to send back my prime rib that they would at least make sure they got my order right, but apparently they couldnt. Im not the biggest fan of shrimp or habanero so I sent it back. They offered some free dessert and the cheesecake was fine. We were aware that the owner was on the premises in the kitchen, but he couldnt be bothered to come out and apologize for the atrocious service I received last night. The nail in the coffin was when we saw other tables being served nice pink slices of prime rib even though what I had been served was all they had. I ended up leaving and ordering a pizza.

Breakfast was amazing so we came for dinner. My wife & I took 1 bite of our cauliflower dish and couldn t continue without being sick. The mains where almost as bad. Things happen but my real issue is nothing was ever addressed. It was quite evident we where served inedible food & the server or kitchen staff should have been horrified to see untouched plates. $400 later still hungry & upset. The server was clearly more interested in tattoos as that s all she really cared about. I sent a letter to mgmt but never did hear back. Avoid at all cost.

Pretty disappointing, went there this morning with my son. Stood there waiting to be acknowledge or to be seated for almost 10 minutes.Ended up walking out! Will be awhile before we go back!

Good food, not so good service. Went in for a piece of cheesecake to go. They overcharged me, but damn good cheesecake. Went back a week later for 2 pieces and coffee s to go. An elderly couple was also purchasing the same and were waiting for their order. A few other employees looked at us but nobody said a word. After the elderly couple left the lady helping them disappeared. We stood there for a few more minutes. A few glances came our way and then ignored. We finally gave up and left. Got cheesecake at Earl s instead.

Sausage was way over cooked and when I mentioned it to an employee..all she said is, Im so sorry. No offer to replace it. Waited to long for a coffee had to get up and request it again. I was expecting better.

Ive always been a fan of Jefferys, since I moved to GP. Have dined in serval times and had take out as well. Each time has been delicious and great service. I am not one to leave a negative review but last nights experience was a bit upsetting to say the least. My mom is in town visiting and I wanted her to have the amazing food and experience at Jefferys that Ive always had. We ordered drinks, pre ordered our cheesecake to make sure we didnt miss out, and then proceeded to order our meals. We ordered appetizers first and then mains to follow. For whatever reason, our mains came first. This is extremely frustrating, disappointing and ruined the entire dining experience. The server did indicate this was her mistake and offered to have the appetizers rushed and would discount them, although this doesnt make up for what happened. While eating our mains the server did not come back to ask us how the food was, or to see if we would like another drink. Once the appetizers came, they were basically inedible. The spinach and artichoke dip tasted purely of bacon and bacon grease. The stuffed mushrooms were over powered by the taste of spices, seemingly rosemary. The appetizers had barely been on the table for 5 minutes and out of nowhere our cheesecakes are being brought to the table. My mom had to flag down another server in order to get a cup of coffee with her cheesecake. It took forever to get our bill as well. It was the strangest experience I have ever had at Jefferys. I could possibly understand all of this if it was a busy night, but it definitely wasnt. I will be back to Jefferys but may think twice about it.

Loud loud music, patio closed on 24 degree day. Could not sell a side salad even though we had 5 meals and 6th person wanted small salad. Food was mediocre at best. 1 out 5 was ok will not be back

Was here for a group function. The private area is great, upstairs and adequate for a small gathering. The food was delicious. However the chicken ( white meat) was dry. Chicken breasts should always be sliced and baked in a fair amount of sauce so they are moist and tender.

Went for breakfast this morning and ordered the West Coast Benny. The breakfast potatoes that came with it were easily some of the best Ive ever had, but unfortunately the benny itself, and the service, was a letdown. The flavours were there, but the eggs were overcooked, and they, along with the hollandaise sauce, were stone cold. I would understand if it was a little less than piping hot due to the cold lox, but for the egg and sauce to be completely cool to the touch? Not awesome. Not once did the server ask how the food was, even when she came to take the plate away and the food was only half eaten. Based on the potatoes alone, I would give the place another chance, but Im certainly not in any hurry to go back.

Made a Reservation for my teenage daughter and I for Saturday morning Breakfast. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch. I have 4 kids and love to take them all individually for little dates with mom. I found this establishment the perfect balance for me and My Teenage daughter to enjoy. It will definitely be a recurring spot for us!

We visited during a vacation and the food, atmosphere and mini shopping area were fabulous! The creative, large menu 100% met expectations. The down fall was service. Staff were a little arrogant and it took almost 2 hours for a late afternoon lunch. Being from the service industry, we are super forgiving to off days but this was just poor service all the way around.

We had a 40 minute wait time before we where seated, but the staff where friendly & there s a cute little shop to pass the time. The food seems expensive but you are getting a large portion for what you paid for, I appreciate the wide variety of menu items without it being too overwhelming. I definitely prefer this restaurant during quieter hours as it was hard to hear the person sitting across from me speak. Overall It s a good place to dine in, just be mindful about the time you choose to go because it gets very busy here.

Very disappointed with customer service. Hub bought me a corkcicle mug. When I trialed it at home it definitely did not do what it said and that was to keep my drink hot for 3 hrs. In less than an hour the liquid was lukewarm. The Cafe refused to exchange or refund this $58 item even tho the receipt claimed otherwise. The manager said we had to go directly thru the company for warranty. We will no longer frequent this establishment due to them not honoring their written exchange policy.

I come here often when I m in GP for work and their food is pretty good. The workers are friendly, too. They recently took the truffle cream of mushroom soup recently and that seriously made me sad since I d always get that soup.

Always decent trendy food, reminiscent of something you would see in downtown Calgary but in GP. Service was lackluster tonight but has been good on other visits. Very nice shop attached.

Ive been to Jeffreys a number of times and its alright. Most of the drinks Ive had were pretty good. They have a few good dishes as well, but most are mediocre. Not bad by any means, but nothing special either. The prices they charge dont reflect the quality of dishes, so thats why Im giving 3 stars. The environment is nice (albeit loud) and I find it to be a good place for a business meet-up, however, like I said, its definitely overpriced.

Relaxed atmosphere and magical adult coffees and desserts. This is my happy place when Im in G.P A cute little shop to support and purchase local artists work. A Unique menu that caters to everything. (Keto gluten free vegan etc) what a hidden gem. All the thanks to my girlfriend Keeley for introduction to Jeffreys Cafe Co. Ty girl!

I will start with excellent service. The coffee is terrible. The food was beyond that. I will never return.
