One of the worst restaurant I have ever seen. Doesn’t even treat delivery drivers as humans. Servers just focus on there tips.
Had the gluten free burger. Well, take a frozen bun and warm it up then put on a hamburger. No creativity in this whatsoever. Very blah and quickly thrown together. Of course the bun crumbled. Yesterday's coleslaw was not good at all. The server was fantastic and I don't hold her accountable. Sad that they can't up their game.
I was disappointed with the serving size of my onion rings. I paid an extra $2 to order onion rings in lieu of fries - and I got maybe 4 onion rings on my plate with some pieces of deep fried breading. However the rest of my meal was excellent and the service was what I'd expect. When I asked two different staff members about the portions of my onion rings i was essentially told there was nothing they could do about it My server followed up by agreeing with me and saying "the serving sizes are really chincey". But no offers to comp the rings were made. I didn't want to kick up a fuss over $2 and some onion rings so I didn't. All in all I'd say OJ's is worth your time, just don't order the onion rings because it's a rip off.
Not exceptional, but an ok restaurant. Have had some real good items on their summer menus over the years, to try, that have been good. Chef must have been on their a game those days. But this time Im thinking it was service. Maybe she didnt have enough help. Table of four, outside with probably about 4 other tables to serve. Forgot a serving of wings, took a while for my burger to come out after everyone else at table, had been served, when it did it was def cool. When she asked if everything was ok I did let her know, she offered to take it back, but a cold burger and the wait for a new one, with everyone else already halfway through their meals, wasnt ideal. I didnt want the 2 sides, that came with my burger, and ordered onion rings instead. Wont be doing that again. The 5 that came were very crispy. Lesson learned - will just take the sides that come with, as charged extra for the 5 onion rings. (I was told that it was a measured portion, just a bit sad when you dont have the other)

Original Joe's has a great laid-back atmosphere with good service. It is a restaurant that has consistency with how good the food is. The dill dip is a must, and their Caesars are amongst the best. It is a great place to grab a bite to eat, hang out with friends, or go for a date.
This is the best Original Joe's franchise I've ever been to. Service is top-notch. We lucked out and had Peewee as our server. She is so friendly and efficient. I usually have the beef dip, and it never disappoints. My husband had the poutine, which was delish. Highly recommend the dill dip with fries too.
We stepped in right after work, before the supper rush hit on half price wing night. Our server, and I regret that my work worn mind missed her name, was extraordinary, filled with smiles, foresight and efficiency from moment one. The dear soul who brought our meals out from the kitchen was just as endearing and kind. The atmosphere was great. Just enough music to keep the heart light yet still, one's dinner conversation could easily be heard by one's dining partner. The menu was challenging to choose from as everything looked and sounded so good, so comforting for the weary soul. I knew I'd come specifically with thoughts of roasted Brussels sprouts in mind yet so much else captured my eye. In the end, I choose the tomato soup as a starter, the Brussels sprouts as my main with, of course, a side of the half price s&p wings. My colleague had something spicy that I regretfully also missed the name of but it's in the photos and she said it was good. We're both foodies so a thumbs up from her was also a win. The soup 😍 was the perfect creaminess as I'd chosen the tag on option of melted cheese in/topping it. Texture, flavour, filling content! Honestly, on its own, it could have been the perfect end to a long day. After nibbling on some wings, accompanied the freshest of carrot and celery sticks (trivial to some, important to me), my appetite filled but my mind still craving, I splurged on calories and wallet go add a brownie to the mix. Well worth it!!!! A decadent treat to top it all off!!! All in all, the soup topped with cheese and accompanied by small breads, the roasted Brussels sprouts, two orders of wings to share, a delightfully warmed large brownie with icecream ... $54 but it hit the spot and I ended up with some leftovers for my lunch the next day.
It was really busy when we came in. Two servers trying to keep up. Overall they did good!! It took a long time to get food. Dietary restrictions: Good with allergies
We always enjoy OJ s, but this particular visit the waitress was unbelivabley slow!! Was very frustrating!!! Parking: Never an issue to park.

I did an online order for only chillie chicken, that was it. Paid more then $17 bucks got all the way home for bone dry cold chicken with shaved carrot ontop. Most they did or said was ooh umm yeah Ill check with the kitchen but you can come grab the sauce. Never going back, waste of my money.

Had an older lady, by the name of Peewee, as our waitress. Provided terrible service. Never was there at all during our stay. Food was cold and couldnt get refills. Needed to ask other waitresses and their manager to get our food and drinks. Only time she showed up was to take out food away.
Impressive service, great food!
A group of us went to go for brunch sat down the waitress gave us extreme attitude about one person not having there ID on them. No where on the door or anywhere does it say no minors allowed even though we are above age. The waitress was so rude she argued with us and not even letting us speak we walked out and took our business elsewhere. Great way to wreak our favourite restaurant thanks for welcoming us to grande prairie!

Without a doubt this is our favourite local restaurant and has been since they opened. Whether for lunch or dinner, couples or larger group of friends, we always leave happy. They have a nice varied menu, reasonable prices, great beers on tap and a really nice wine selection. Serving staff are like old friends when you come in. Even the coffee is some of the best in town.
We ordered our main dishes and my sister ordered the steak sandwich with fries and Caesar salad, and I ordered the grilled cheese burger with fries and veggies. My fries were delicious, but when I tried my grilled cheese burger it was burnt to a crisp. We called our waitress over and let her know. She immediately took my burger over to show her manager, and he came over to apologize profusely. He asked if they could make something else and I said no thats not necessary.
Hey , you need to change the sign to bar and loose the restaurant! If minors cant come in and eat then its not a restaurant its a pub!!
Extremely long wait to get drinks and food! Seems to be no care for customer service at this place. Better off going somewhere else. Unless you are up for a long wait and not really hungry.
came in for lunch today & wasn t super busy lots of empty tables. so we thought perfect shouldn t be a super long wait. well we were wrong. We sat down & waiting for probably a good 30-40 mins before we decided to leave. Nobody acknowledged us, nobody came to our table to take drink or food orders. Neither of us were happy considering we come here all the time.

Coleslaw was so good! Not too sloppy, and has cilantro in it, which was a welcome surprise. Fries and gravy were delicious, and my burger was great too; so big I almost had to unhinge my jaw to eat it!
My friend ate here this evening and has Celiac Disease. Original Joes claims to have gluten free options but she is currently puking her guts out. Whoever was in the kitchen tonight should be educated on how to prepare food for people who order gluten free dishes (and yes she told them it wasnt just a preference). Absolutely unacceptable.

We were in for supper Sat night was not busy in there but took over an hour to get food . A table that came in good half hour after us and larger party got food at same time. Was not impressed. Food was good once got but should not of taken that long. Then as we were paying over heard a manger come up to table across from us appoligize for meals taking so long as kitchen was having issues and proceed to to take care of there bill. No cone came to apologize to us for waiting forever. Our waitress was awesome though older gal amazing.

Great Service. Ordered a Cubano with fries and a Snake bite IPA. The Cubano and drink were delicious! Both complimented each other very well.

Staff is friendly but food quality and prep is lacking.
Overall no complaints, but by the same token, nothing exceptional that stands out. OJs is pretty consistent in what they provide. Vegetarian options: My daughter is vegetarian, and gluten free, which really limits our dining out options, but OJs veggie burger fit the bill quite nicely.
The staff was friendly but the owner seems like a real piece of work. Out of no where he start screaming at his staff I seen one of them start crying. Didnt see them for the rest of the meal. If something is wrong act like an adult and talk to them like they are human. If your manager or higher part of your job is to keep calm dealing with things. I hope who ever that was is ok. Not cool.
Have been eating here since they opened. Recently i came for a meal with my girlfriend who has a food allergy, and alerted the server when ordering. The food came staggered, as the kitchen forgot and used onions, so they had to make a new meal. Less than 30 seconds later her food came out, with claims it was a fresh order. After a few bites she noticed residual onion on the item and scattered all over the side dish. If the calibre of kitchen staff here is to ignore allergies and pretend paying customers are too dumb to notice they picked the onions off, they dont need my buisness anymore.
I have spent many happy hour or two at OJs............. Great service, fantastic beer and a great atmosphere. Usually I do not eat there........... however, yesterday that changed. Ordering fish and chips, I awaited my meal. A narrow plate appeared, featuring a large chunk of fish atop the chips. Not sure why this comes on such a small plate. The large chunk of BATTERD fish was quite oily and whist I cut into this monstrosity it began to ooze oil and grease onto the chips. Further inspection revealed BATTER between half an inch, to one inch thick, moist and stodgy. Your yearly allocation of artery clogging cholesterol. There was some fish in there, albeit, precious little, probably an 80% BATTER / 20% fish. ... and Im being generous.
This is a little over due. We got a family pasta bundle a month ago and we got so much food for the price! The bruschetta fettuccine was SO GOOD!!! And even better as left overs! Would recommend! I also opt for OJs most of the time as I love getting two sides. I don t have to choose between salad or fries because I can get both!
My partner and I had the most wonderful Valentine s dinner this evening. Start to finish from the service to food and drinks it was awesome. Our server went above and beyond.... she was attentive, friendly, fast and fun. The food was fresh, great portions and our steak was cooked perfect & tender. We had the most lovely evening tonight. Original Joes Restaurant is the place to eat. I had a French onion soup for starter and their beef dip with coleslaw and fries with gravy on the side. I had more then enough to take leftovers for later, very fair portion sizes. Will definitely being going back again. Yum!
Have always had a great time at OJs, tonight was above average though so a review was necessary. The food was 10/10 as expected, but our server Dylan went above and beyond to make sure our experience was 11/10. From the knowledge of the menu to the speed and attention to drink refills it led to our best experience ever with a local favorite spot.

Our server was great and cute, easy to talk to, our ceasars was deadly and everyone enjoyed their meal. I was right full and it really didnt cost much a whole lot. Overall very consistent and I am never disappointed with OJs
If you like chicken burgers I highly recommend the crispy chicken.

Had a great date night here, live in the area by Obrien Lake and while I wish I could remember the name of the burger I ate I highly recommend it. My hibbie said its definitely his new favourite. Waitress was great and the dessert was the icing on the cake. Will be back again!

We were in and out within 45 minutes! Three meals, appetizers, drinks etc! The servers were amazing, the bathrooms and dining area were super clean and the food was great!
I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap on Skip and it was literally the best one I have ever had, it held together and they make them the way they should be - perfect amount of sauce too - it wasnt a drippy mess to try and eat - Super happy
The manager Dylan served us tonight and it was nothing but amazing. Might be the most charasmatic man I have ever met! He went above and beyond to make us feel like friends! I cannot recommend this location enough!
Dylan schwabe is the best manager a guy could get.. drinks take 3 seconds at max, hes the guy you ask to be your best man and he says yes even know you have never seen him before, CHAMP
Fun staff and excellent covid protocols
Overpriced nasty food. Wings were inedible dried up overcooked hard rocks with no meat. It went in the trash. The mashed potato had a rotten sour taste to it. The avocado in the chicken quesadilla was also rotten as I have opened the tortilla to look after it didnt seem right. I had a stomachache after eating.
My husband and I ordered pick up from them about 3 weeks ago. My husband ordered their bruschetta chicken fettuchini pasta dish. Called them when they forgot to put in the fettuccine. They said they would leave a $20 gift card at the front counter for us to rectify the order. So we decided to go dine in last night. We asked our server if our gift card was waiting for us. She inquired with the manager. She came back to the table to inform us that we did have the card waiting for us. Cool. So we order or dinner, we wait for about 30 minutes. The people beside us who had came in 20 minutes after us, received their food first. And then the next person who came in after us gets their food. The server says she will go check on our order. Comes back to the table and explains that she is unsure what happened to our order but it was coming up right away. Another 20 minutes go by and she says they are just plating the order. After another 10 minutes go bye, we walked out. We sat and waited for 60 minutes. Now, Ive been in the service industry for a very long time. (About 20 years) When eating out, I would be considerate of the time of the evening, the amount of skip orders they have, how busy their pick up orders are. However, they had food flying out of the kitchen. The restaurant was sitting at about 50% capacity when we arrived, and about half of those tables were already eating. I always do a room scan when I walk into a restaurant, I check tables for food, drinks, just to see what kind of service is happening. Our server had 4 tables when we arrived, 2 of them were already eating, us being the 5th. Once we were seated and AFTER ordering, she got another 3 tables. 2 of those tables got their food before us before the server made an effort to see what happened. The manager was packing orders the whole time we were there. Had an order ticket been up, he would have been on the kitchen staff to get it done. We ordered a burger and a wrap.... nothing fancy. The server gave us an excuse that she didnt know what happened. Im pretty sure she forgot to even put in our order. So much for our first date night in about 2 years.

Never Been to Joe s before. I am impressed! Crispy chicken burger was awesome and I could eat the coleslaw all day. Hostess, Bailey, was wonderful and we will be stopping to see her again next time we are through.

This particular location is nice, very clean and super friendly staff. Felt comfortable going in during Covid and recieved prompt service. The wings for wing night were a bit over cooked though tasty. Overall decent place to eat up.

My wife and I love this place and get all our cute little pet names from their menu. She calls me her Dynamite Shrimp and shes my little Margherita Flatbread. She always asks for my California Cobb leading up to her Buttered Chicken. I am a gentleman so I always comply with the ol Original Double Dog and a side of my Beef Dip. Weve recently even been experimenting with my Beyond Meat, but we love the safety of falling back on her Long Beach Fish Taco. For dessert, I simply cannot resist her Dirt Pie. If you are adventurous, I recommend trying the Mexican Bulldog, Moscow Mule or my specialty the Back Porch Lemonade. These moves are only to be tried by consenting professionals over the age of 18 who are responsible and know what they are doing! These are not for first timers or faint of heart, I cannot stress this enough. Stay safe out there kids. Use protection. They really should make you sign a waiver.

Very good wings. Service is alright... Unless you get Erica. Shes on the ball and very personable. The mango Habanero wings are primo. Tuesday is wing night for 5$ a lb. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quite the bustling place. The beef dip and Parm chips are great too! They could turn the music down a bit but when its a busy night its nice to not have to hear everyone elses convo. I enjoy it. Oh and they need to fix their wifi. Free wifi tho.
