The entire experience was extremely disappointing and honestly ruined my birthday dinner. The keg is my go to birthday place yearly for the white sangria, 3 cheese butter and Billy miner pie. I ve been coming yearly for 15 + years. This year the server made us feel like an inconvenience from the start. I ordered a white sangria and asked for no lime garnish due to a fresh lime allergy. It took forever for our drinks, finally the server came back, interrupted me and my guests conversation to tell me that I quote my manager said no, we won t serve you the sangria I have had this drink yearly and am 100% certain I am not allergic, when I asked why she said because it has citric acid in it citric acid is not the same as citrus and irregardless I am not allergic to citrus I am allergic to fresh lime. It felt like I had beg them to let me order anything and spend my money. After a debate they finally agreed to bring me the drink. We ordered appys, I asked for the bread with 3 cheese butter and my guest ordered the Neptune appetizer. When the food arrived by a runner I did not have the butter (the 3 cheese butter is the second reason I come to the keg yearly) I flagged down another server and asked for either my server or someone to bring the butter please. No one came with the butter. 20 mins go by and the server finally arrives to ask how appies were, I asked for the butter I ordered and she argued with me that she remembered to put the order in she didn t know why they didn t send it, when she finally brought it to me the butter was rock hard cold and my bread was now cold and my guest was already done her appetizer. I ordered a second sangria that took 20 mins + to be prepared, before it was brought to me the manager came over to talk to me about my allergies again and how he did not want to serve me the second drink, another debate and I was finally allowed the drink. Again it felt like I needed to defend my simple request, no fresh lime as a garnish. Note there is NO lime in the sangria normally, I just say no like in case a bartender decides to garnish with it to be safe. Then when our dinner arrived rhe manager brought out the wrong food for my guest, and missed all the condiments I purposely asked for when ordering. The saving grace of the evening was that our dinners were delicious thankfully. On my reservation I specifically said it was my birthday. When walking to the table, when asked what were we re celebrating I said my birthday, when the server came to the table she asked and I said my birthday. After dinner she came back to the table and asked are we actually celebrating something I again said it was legitimately my birthday for the 4th time. A food runner brought out a billy miner pie which was appreciated and delicious but before we could even order anything else the server brought our bill feeling like she wanted us gone. We would have happily spend another $20-$40 on drinks or another dessert but it was clear the server was done waiting on us and wanted us gone to turn the table over. I never go out, let alone celebrate myself and it was very disappointing to spend my hard earned money at a place that treated me and my guest like we were the inconvenience for just wanting what we paid for. I will not be returning to the Grande Prairie location.

I called The Keg this evening to place a pick-up order for my 10 year anniversary with my wife. I was told that pick-up orders would not be available between 5-8 PM (I called at 7:10 PM). I asked if I could call back after 8 and the hostess had informed me they were too busy. I called back at 7:30 PM to speak with a manager to see if an exception could be made as we could not get babysitters for this evening and Pick-Up was our only option. The manager had informed me that their kitchen would not be able to handle our pick-up order. To me this is crazy. The Keg advertises Take-Out on their website and to be refused service because they are too busy does not seem to be a valid excuse. At my job, regardless of how busy I am I would never deny a customer service especially for something we advertise. Big disappointment tonight from The Keg. I guess they are not the friendly franchise we once knew. See the photo posted, A little busy according to google.

Great Night out with Family, our 5 year old enjoyed sharing our dishes (mostly moms salmon) and requested salmon on the kids menu, not a horrible idea!

The Keg in GP just isnt up to par with other Kegs. Miniscule side servings (literally a tiny scoop of vegetables that were bland and overcooked), prime rib was not very tender. For the cost of the Keg, Id prefer to cook my own steak. Service was excellent though.

My husband and I were in celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. Our server was amazing and explained the specials. We mentioned that I had a severe seafood allergy, The General Manager came to our table and explained that some of the items were cooked in the same area as the seafood so they were more than happy to accommodate me and made sure none of my meal was in contact with anything that would cause a allergic reaction.. I can only rate them out of 5 stars but they deserve a way higher score

The manager will come and talk to you never happened. I discussed with our waitress when she was setting our menus down and she was telling us about the specials to tell me if anything on my plate had alcohol in it. She placed my plate down and walks away without telling me something on my plate was cooked with alcohol. That should have never happened in a place like the keg.

Spent alot of money for 2 people - the bread was so hard and the poutine was so salty it couldnt be finished; the server made a face when the poutine was ordered- should have paid attention to it... the steak was nothing special- cooked better at home.

I try to go to the keg about every 4/6 weeks. The service and food quality has dramatically dropped over the past few years. I generally order the same thing. Shrimp cocktail and ribeye steak. At the end of April I attended for a belated birthday. I ordered the rib eye steak as per usual and was served what looked like a shoulder steak or bottom round. Not anywhere near what a rib eye should have been. Wasn t a piece of fat within 3 miles of it. I confirmed with the server that it was in fact their rib steak. I order my steak rare and this was an ok rare close to medium. But it feels like they are selling a premium rib steak on the menu and substituting it with something else. I was genuinely disappointed. The dessert, a crème broule was severely lacking. I do enjoy going out and supporting businesses in town but it s getting a little out of hand with the low quality and excess prices. $12 for a can of Guinness? C mon .Calgary airport charges $9, restaurants all over BC are around $7.25 .I m paying an extra 30-40% for???? .clearly not the steak. I ve found it better to go to the butcher shop and cook my own with my spouse and save about $200 on a mediocre experience. Please step your game back up to quality.

Unfortunately the past couple of times weve gone the service (for the price) was lacking. I tried to order a drink and was brought the wrong one, so I pointed out on the menu which drink I ordered, the server left and came back 10 min later and said I had been ordering from an old menu. For the price you pay I expect more, it used to be better.

We had prime rib with snow crab and crab cakes for appy. Everything was a 10 out of 10. Definitely will be going back.

Although they didnt cook my wifes steak correctly, they got it right after the 3rd try. Everyone elses dinner was delicious. Thankyou to the managers attention to detail to make sure everything was alright, greatly appreciated! Visiting from the Okanagan Valley, we will definitely be back. Food

The service, cant believe Im saying this, was almost too attentive. Check in a couple of times is good but every 5-10 minutes by multiple people was a little much. Food is consistently good though.

Great atmosphere, and lovely service but disappointed with the steak, which was medium rather than medium rare. I did not complain as I know how little margins restaurants actually make. My wife s steak was cooked better at least. There was just not much flavor, especially having another similar cut at a chain restaurant that far surpassed what I had. The dessert was amazing and big enough to allow our table of 7 to each try a little. I would give this a 3 1/2.

Had a great meal but they were certainly short staffed for a Saturday night. It took a long time to get served. The sever was excellent, but overworked. They need more staff! All said, I would recommend this restaurant. Delicious food, great staff!

Me and my husband and his parents went out for our anniversary and it was horrible all 4 of us sent our steaks back they were all cooked wrong the service was horrible my husband is African and the server would only talk to me and not my husband or his parents, she was so rude, im very disgusted with the service.

We were in town for work and ended up at the Keg for dinner. It was absolutely wonderful, our server Ash was on the ball and made sure we were happy and the food was great. The Keg is such a consistent restaurant. Always great.

A beautiful building, nice atmosphere with lack luster food. Its been 15 years since we last dined at the Keg in GP for our wedding engagement. I remember being very happy with our food in times past. Yesterday afternoon with a 4 pm reservation I was beyond disappointed. Our server was sweet, but got our sides wrong. The keg burger was overcooked, and seemed to have been microwaved or re-heated in someway that dried it out. The pork ribs were chewy and tough. The calamari batter lacked flavour and was undercooked. The price point and quality of the meal are definitely out of alignment.

The server didnt acknowledge us half the time. Disapointing however everyother time iv been its been perfect

Nothing about the Keg I dont love however they dont carry my favorite wine anymore so I was a little disappointed .

Went to the keg last week to celebrate with my girlfriend and had the worst service I ve ever had there. Any other time I ve went to the keg, the food and service has been above and beyond my expectations. This time around, the food was good, although came out a little cold. But the service from our waitress was not good. Naomi I believe was her name. She hardly checked in on us for the hour and a half it took for us to get our food. And anytime she did check on us, she exclusively addressed my girlfriend and asked her specifically if she needed anything and would not even acknowledge me or ask if I needed anything. It really felt as if she was purposely ignoring me. Then when she finally came by after an hour of waiting for our food to drop off the heated garlic butter, she just dropped it off, never said a word to us about what s taking the food so long. Just came by and walked away without a word. At the end when I was paying the bill, I did not tip well as I was not impressed with the service at all. She looked at how much I tipped her, put the receipt on the table and walked away without saying a word to us. Not a goodbye , or have a good night , not a word. For a high end restaurant like the keg, people go there for not only the food, but the whole experience. Service being one of the most important aspects of that experience. And this was not a good experience. For something that was suppose to be a celebratory night, it sure didn t feel like it. On a positive note, the manager was very kind and took care of a couple items off of our bill for the food coming out a little cold. Food was still good, it just took a long time, manager was sincere and apologetic but the server provided a poor experience.

Went for my gfs birthday and had an absolutely fantastic experience. Good service, good food, good times.

Everybody loves their Oscar sauce! Their server was so stellar! She had these wonderful Globe sparkly earrings. I cant remember her name but she was absolutely fabulous.

One of the best restaurants in Grande Prairie, getting pretty expensive for what you get now... Value isnt really there anymore. Hard to have a decent meal for much under $100 a person.

Got food poisoning here pretty badly and then a couple of years later, we tried the keg again. My husband then got food poisoning too! Won t be back as the prices do not match the quality of food.

The absolute best service, best meal, and best atmosphere in the city. The prime rib and ribeye were phenomenal. Dont skip dessert. Calamari and mushrooms Neptune were the perfect starters.

We were there last night, this is the 3rd time in a row we ve been to the Keg and our steaks are not properly cooked. Both my husband and I ordered the New York classic, steaks to be done medium well, his arrived looked more like medium rare and mine was definitely rare. The last 2 times we were there we had to send our steaks back.

My bestie took me for dinner and I had the 10 0z. Prime Rib it was delicious I didnt use my sauces because I dont enjoy wine in my aus jus and the gravy was salty. Still had an amazing time and will be back because I have a gift card to use.

We come in from peace river area a few times a year for a good meal at the Keg. Unfortunately the second time in a row the prime rib was not available. We were disappointed but a great alternative was offered. We had awesome service and the manager came to see us and asked us to call in before we made the long drive and they would insure we had prime rib. They took the time and effort to make our visit exceptional. Thank you. Can t wait for our next visit.

Waitress did not get our order correctly, 3 members of my party were nearly done eating by the time the 4th entree arrived. Had to request bread 3 times before receiving any. My wife didnt get her salad at all. Was the most disappointing visit in all the years we have been going to the Keg.

Tried make a reservation for 8 - I understand busy but :a) reservation system says group is too big for online reservation-please call b) called 5 times after opening hours and no response. Please answer your phones ! I am in Kegs across Canada. By far my worst experience!

As always, fantastic food, service and atmosphere. I hadnt been for several years and it did not disappoint! Dietary restrictions: They will gladly accommodate dairy and gluten free needs.

Hosts were all smiles when we walked in and our server Destiny was lovely , friendly and knowledgeable. Every single one of our steaks were made perfectly as asked and absolutely delicious. Appies and drinks were top notch as well. Thank you to your team for allowing us to have such a great dining experience from start to finish with our friends !

As always, the service was fantastic atmosphere perfect. The new Kansas staek special was my least favorite meal Ive had here. No fault of the team ofcourse.

We went to the Keg Friday night, my wife has special dietary needs. The general manager took the time to come talk to us about how they would help us. They are amazing and I would highly recommend them.

Had refills before we were empty, brought us salt & pep 3 times she absolutely makes sure her bases are covered, while also being fun and enthusiastic about her job. We were in and out with appies and dinner in less than an hour. What a great experience!

Fantastic service! Love the staff here. Atmosphere is lovely, and very cool that the bar is downstairs. Had the escargot, a bottle of red, the prime rib and cauliflower mash. Had to order more cauliflower mash because my daughter loved mine and ate it all! Prime rib always melts in your mouth - always cooked to perfection! And the Billy minor pie - no meal is complete without it. Thank you for also being so family friendly. Cant wait to come back.

My wife and I celebrated valentine s Day early yesterday had the fillet, and the wife had the New York the fillet was one of the best steaks I ve ever had 10/10 good job good food and good service!

Very enjoyable atmosphere and excellent supper with perfectly prepared lobster.

The Keg GP is our go to for all special occasions. Birthdays, Valentines, Anniversary, and double date nights. It has, for nearly a decade been the place we are most excited to eat. Drinks and service are always top of the line. That is still the case. But what is going on in the kitchen? The last three times, medium rare steak has come out the first time well done. Send it back for it to come out nearly raw. Of course, the service is impeccable, but we have left disappointed for three times and I highly doubt we will give it a fourth. Breaks our heart because it o has been our absolute favorite place to go.

Was busy so had drinks in the lounge while we waited for a table. Great service, excellent wine reccomendation and food was cooked exactly how we requested.

3/5 stars. Food was delicious (made the long wait worth it). Our server Nicole was great! But one of the hostess (wearing a black dress) was rude. She gave us a dirty look when we couldn t hear when she told us she ll lead us to our table the first time and repeated it with an annoyed tone. Other than the racist host with the trashy attitude, our experience was great.

Went to The Keg for dinner, we had a reservation so we were seated right away in the Bar where we asked to sit. Then from there the service went down hill. It was a very long wait to get any more help/service after getting our drinks. We continued to look for our waitress making eye contact but still she never came to check on us. Eventually got up and asked if someone could come take our order. Which the person said yeah Ill send some one over. Which did not happen for another 10mins which felt like an hour!!! Food was great but the service like so many restaurants in Grande Prairie absolutely sucks!!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Genevieve! ( I really hope that s her name, and I m sorry if I butchered the spelling) She was my husband and I s host the other day for his birthday, and she was fantastic! Super friendly, and was really attentive to topping up drinks and making sure we had everything we needed, all before we d even realize we needed something or were running low. She was wonderful!

The blackened chicken was not blackened as I expected it to be. Keg version of blackened is a spice.

We took my father in law here for his Birthday. My wife, and kids and the MIL came also. Ordered top sirloin steaks and they had the surf and turf equivalent. He had issues with his food and didn t finish it. My kid s fries were so salty they were inedible. They let my son choose his dessert to make up for it, he was throwing it up at midnight. The other kids burger was ordered plain with nothing on it and it still came sauced, plus they never ever did bring his dessert that was supposed the be included. The booth they stuck us in was getting cold air blown on us for the whole two hours from sit down to bill payment. We mentioned it several times. We were happy to get outside where it was windy and raining as it was sooo much warmer. Service was be right back with that (15-20 minutes) we had to ask passers by about things as we thought the waitress finished her shift and went home as we hadn t seen her for 30+ minutes. The parking lot was so full, the birthday boy had to park a couple blocks away. The zucchini was burnt and the steak was decent, but for 2 kids and four adults it was well over $300 I am not sure i will be returning to this location, as it is not the same level of service we normally get at the kegs we usually go to. It will probably even sour my willingness to goto the one closer to home for a few years unless something changes. Having to send inedible food back when you are paying $50 a person is pretty sad. We didn t even have that high of expectations when we went! Neither my children, nor i, wish to come back to this location, unless, as said something changes Parking: Can be very full Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly

Management and our server were great at resolving several issues during dinner. This review is specific to the bartender. I am not sure what I was given when I ordered a Tom Collins. However I am certain it was not: 1oz Lemon Juice, 1.5 oz Gin, half oz simple syrup and 2oz of club soda. I also know the first one had a lime in it, and the second one was the same thing with a lemon in it... This is a classic highball that Ive ordered before. It would really have been nice if the Bartender just googled the recipe after they tried to wing it. Instead of sending the same thing out again...

I have never had a bad meal at the Keg! I love the atmosphere in both the Dining room and the Lounge. Although the menu changes from time to time....they keep their tried and true favorites....mine is Mushrooms Neptune. LOVE THE KEG!

Poorly prepared food for the price paid. The evening that we went, they must have had a junior chef on with no supervision. Over done meat and for the price paid it was a poor portion of vegetables. We will not be returning if this is the standard.

My wife and I went out for our date night this evening and we chose the keg as we hadnt been in awhile. The food as always was incredible. But what really made out night was our server Trey (I hope I spelled it right). He was extremely attentive and made suggestions when my wife ordered her drink. He was on top of everything while we were there. Both my wife and I were shocked when he told us he had only been serving for a month. It was by far some of the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. Trey made our night something special. I dont know if you share these reviews with staff, if you do please make sure he hears about this and let him know Kyle says thank you again!

Went to the keg tonight for my 35 birthday with my mom who flew in from bc, my husband and our two kids. My husbands steak he ordered medium and it was basically mooing on the plate. They offered to throw it back on for two min, ten min later it came out and looked microwaved but was still raw on the inside, it was inedible. Both my kids and mom got the keg burgers and they were literally hockey pucks, so burnt that they both said they were gross. My moms was also a hockey puck but also her fries where cold and burnt to a crisp. The only meal that was decent was my steak which I would still give Maybe a 5 out of 10. We complained ALOT and were given the entire meal for free but honestly I would have only paid for my steak if push came to shove there was no way we were paying for that dog food. The manager got me a creme Brule to take home and the chef blackened and burnt the sugar on top so brutally that it is also inedible. So sooooo disappointed this is the first time ever having a bad meal at this keg but it was so bad that we will never return. Save you money and go to state and main!!!

Worst meal Ive ever been served!!! My mother in law and are family of 4 went to have a good dinner. To start every meal was either burnt or raw, tried sending some things back like a steak, it came back with not one issue two issues, was now burnt on half and raw on the other side if you can believe that!!! Tried to make it work but after the chef not being able to cook anything we gave up and said keep the food and left. They said sorry and asked if we would like a dessert since it was my wifes birthday, we got a creme Brule and not even joking the sugar was black burnt! Absolutely horrible experience with my family and my wifes birthday. When a chef at the keg cant cook a hamburger let alone veggies, fries or a steak there is a problem. Dont waste your money here.

Worst Keg weve ever been too, and weve been all over alberta. 15 minutes before we got our drinks. 35 minutes before we even got our complimentary bread, after asking how long it will be yet twice. Then steaks were burned, potatoes undercooked, mixed up orders, and forgot about sides. Will never visit again

This was the first time I have been there the service was awesome I had the Hamburger and fries it didn t find it done to well but will try again some other time and try their steak

Great place

I mean, its a keg so you know what youre getting going in. I had the baseball streak ordered rare, which Im glad I did because it arrived medium, but was ok. Twice baked potato was unremarkable. We shared the baked brie and loaded nachos as an appetizer. Both were also meh. Drinks were surprisingly reasonably priced. What I found interesting was our very young server was convinced that lobsters came native from Vancouver. I suggested that maybe they arrived from there but maybe they came from the east coast. She doubled down later and confirmed with us that for sure these were fresh caught lobsters from Vancouver. We still tipped well. We were put in the basement which is done up nicely, Im just not a fan of eating in the basement. Fire a basement, it was very clean everywhere. Was ok, wouldnt recommend you dont come here, just set your expectations as medium.

So full, I could die. Prime rib was a bit more done then I would have liked but still tasted great. Get the cauliflower for a appy, yummers. Genna was a fantastic server.

Tried the teriyaki steak. Steak was cooked medium as per order. Parts of the steak were charred, did not taste as it should. Had the iceberg wedge salad. Salad was OK but not great. Best part of the meal was the bread! Was part a very large group. Food

Had a very lovely anniversary dinner out with the kids and we were treated very well. Food was top tier and my steak almost melted in my mouth. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and even threw in a very tasty slice of moca ice cream cake. Will definitely plan another night out here.

Bacon-wrapped scallops seemed a little small, one tasted a little off, but overall good. Shrimp appetizer, again, quite small shrimps as they seemed to be served in an escargot tray but still tasty with cheese topping. Sharing the two appetizers and table bread was sufficient in combination with the meals each of us received. Filet was done to medium-rare as requested and delivered the expected excellent tenderness and flavour. Service was good - just the right amount of timely attention and prompt deliveries. The only downside of the lounge in the basement was it could be a little dark (could - but adaptable and could be better for a more romantic evening) and otherwise very comfortable and relaxed - a nice change from typical bar stool lounges. Parking: Like most places at meal times and evenings, parking will be pretty full.

The 6 & 8oz siroins that we had this evening were cooked to perfection and were fork tender. The sizzling shrimp was a really good appy, especially if you like peppers. The sides were also up to par as usual. It wasnt too loud in the bar section, and Destiny provided amazing service.

My friends and I experienced the worst service ever. Just because we were a group of 3 does not mean to ignore us completely because we were seated next to a large group. Servers kept waiting on them but not us. The food was extremely overpriced. I understand inflation yadda yadda yadda, but for these prices you expect the quality of the food and taste should be good not worse. The salad I had, which was not quite 2 cups for $14? Wasn t even cold and was a bit wilty. Wings were tiny. Like were they chicken or a budgie? Server did not come by to ask how everything was. I was a fan of the Keg but this experience changed that. Didn t even think to take photos

We arrived at around 8:30 PM on Oct 26. Everything was very slow, from the time our drink order was taken to the delivery of said drinks and then to finally order appetizers. Not a big deal, I get it was busy. Of the 6 main courses we ordered, 3 had to settle for something else as they were out of what was ordered. The accompaniment I ordered was mixed up with the guy sitting next to me. No big deal, we just switched. My steak was ordered medium rare and it came well done. I ended up having to wait for them to cook another so I was just getting to eat when everyone else was finishing up. We were advised of last call, but were not offered dessert. When we asked for dessert we were told the kitchen was closed and she offered last call and we said we were good. We didnt think last call meant last call for dessert also and had my meal been prepped correctly and on time we would have had plenty of time to order a coffee and dessert after the meal. Then we were sitting finishing our wine and the lights came on so we had to leave. I dont like to be the last one to leave an establishment, but we would have been out of there a lot sooner had we been served on time and had the food been prepared correctly. None of this is a big deal, but it all added up to an unpleasant experience. The meal was discounted, but it does not change the experience... The food was very good.

Food as usual was amazing.....too bad the waitress seemed to be very distracted. She forgot what our drink order was and had to come.back to ask us a second time. Then had the wrong drink delivered anyway. Forgot silverware normally included in our order. Forgot gravy. It was frustrating.

The food was as good if not better than we could make at home. The service was the perfect mix of there when you needed her and not when you didnt. The whole staff treated my 6 and 8 year daughters with respect. If I could give 6 stars for service, I would.

My wife and I had to leave mid-meal due to a medical emergency. I advised the staff that I would be back to pay the bill in a few minutes but was told that it would be covered and not worry about it. All I can say is 100% class! Did not expect it, but certainly appreciated the offer considering the circumstances. Well done.

well complimented host, conducive and favourable server, braised lamb shank meal with white wine was more than delectable, couldn t ask for a better evening.

Had the best experience from the first step inside, to the last step to outside. Everyone was friendly, went out of their way to help with any issues, gave great recommendations. The staff really knows their stuff!! The food was so good, we had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly and so tender and mouthwatering. The drinks were on point as well and I could not recommend this place enough. For dessert I highly recommend their lemon tart, by far my favourite so far! Vegetarian options: There were a few delicious looking options for vegetarian dishes! Dietary restrictions: They ask right away if you have any allergies to any food and have a variety of food options for gluten free and vegetarian dishes.

We had an awesome dinner at the keg! Sydney the waitress was so fun and responsive, checked in with us at the right times. Sangrias were nice and refreshing! Found the downstairs area a little warm, upstairs felt more breezy. Steak was cooked great, they were out of prime rib, but enjoyed the other options too!

It took over an hour for our food to arrive and then it did it was wrong.

Fantastic experience, and one that we will talk about for a while. The service was excellent, and our dishes of blackened chicken, and pistachio salmon where both incredibly tasty!

Its a nice fancy restaurant that lacks better lighting and more menu options for vegetarian and chicken dishes. The salmon was great, and I would definitely order it again.

Sat in the lounge downstairs, we were here between 4&5 on a Sunday. The environment is very warm and comfortable, not busy. Food was fast and the service is pretty good. Overall our experience was great. I would eat here again.

The service was great.The beer was cold. Everything was great except the prime Rib. The prime rib was not that good for the money. My wife and I would not order it again. I would say it was bland, needed seasoning and maybe a bark on the meat .The meat was tough we think.. just our opinion. Yes I would go back but not order the prime rib.

Came here for our anniversary and honestly I was a little let down. Yes some of the food was awesome but I got the New York striploin and it was super chewy and wasn t even close to as good as when we have previously went there. Also I add the Oscar which is $17 and they gave the smallest amount the sauce didn t even cover half the steak. For $66 I just can t see that being worth it. Our total bill was $170 and it just wasn t worth it this time around.

Coming from out of town we had called ahead a few days earlier, had a 6:30 reservation. Everything went well up to the time when food arrived, I had ordered the ribs and chicken with a side salad. All I can say is that the meal was very disappointing,both the chicken and the ribs were over cooked and very dry Definitely very disappointed and will not return to this place

The restaurant is clean, moderately quiet and the staff were helpful and efficient. We had the escargot stuffed mushrooms, prime rib and the blackened chicken. All were excellent. Best meal I have had this month. Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple levels once inside probably would not be accessible by anyone in a wheelchair.

great service & amazing food! I went with my boyfriend for a late birthday dinner as we were staying the night in a hotel nearby. it was my first time dining there and manager gave us a free shrimp cocktail to welcome us, which was delicious surprise. Definitely will be going back next time we re up there! very knowledgeable waitress and nice management:))

My family just moved to gp and went to the keg for the first time tonight, we love the keg. And it was nothing but an amazing experience. I want to shout out the manager (I believe his name started with a J, tall guy red hair) he was so kind when we got there and I had asked if they had crab yet and he said no but recommended the mushroom Neptune, I told him I get it everytime I go to the keg and we had a good laugh about it. After we got to our table from a very friendly hostess, we ordered our food and as our waitress who was also amazing, was walking away, the manager brought us stuffed mushrooms on the house as a gift for our family . How fricken nice of him!!! Our food was delicious and quick, waitress and everyone there was amazing. Highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: We re amazing to our 4 year old daughter and brought out a little platter for her to start with and bread which she loved. Crayons and colouring as well.

Prime rib is still fantastic still. Could use a better knife

Delicious food. I can t complain about the food or service. We received a complimentary dessert to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The only bad thing is finding a parking spot on a Friday night at the restaurant.

The sidewalks are treacherous by law requires sidewalks to be cleared. I need to catch a bus beside your restaurant. Nearly broke my ankle last Wednesday. Wheelchair accessibility: Can t navigate the sidewalks can t patronize the establishment. It is very sad to see parking lots so clean and the adjacent sidewalks in such bad shape.

I ve always liked The Keg and the handful of times I ve been before have been positive. However, tonight I didn t even set foot in the door before things took a bad turn. My partner and I had arrived in The Keg s parking lot and noticed there were a lot of cars, so I called to see what the wait might be like for a table. The hostess who answered the phone was downright rude and snotty with me, snapping that they were so busy, we wouldn t be able to make a reservation until way later (hadn t even asked about a reservation) and she couldn t give me a wait time over the phone, we had to be there in person. I didn t even bother telling her we were in the parking lot because what was the point of going in if they were that busy, so I ended the call and we ended up going to the Sawmill (where the service was great). It s okay if a restaurant is overwhelmingly busy, I understand and don t mind going elsewhere. The attitude and poor tone is not okay.

We went for a nice business celebration dinner last month the food was great and the service was wonderful as well consistency is the name of the game when you go to the keg nine times out of 10 you will have a great experience in the food will be the same as the last time you went I recommend the brie appetizer it s one of my favorites you can t go wrong with a New York steak for Oscar topper is wonderful as well

If you are coming here be ready to spend money but to their credit I promise you will not walk away hungry or dissatisfied I got a 12 oz sirloin steak which was easily the best steak I had all year I could complain about the megre portion of potato that came with it but by the end of my meal I was completly satisfied coupled with heplful and very swift staff its hard to give the Keg anything less than 5 stars. Bravo! Parking: more parking may be found towards the rear of the building.
