Went to Denny s in Napanee. Our server Hanah was the worst ever. She brought our coffee in dirty cups. Cups that had lipstick stains on them. Then never came back to refill. We ordered our food. Sat there waiting over an hour. She comes back asking if we are done. When we told her we didn t even get our food. She says oh I just came from break. Our food came 30 mins after that. 3 orders out of 4 was wrong. The pancakes were hard and cold as if they been sitting in the fridge. 1 order was right but the steak was cold and hard as rock. This is the worst dennys I ve ever been to and I love Denny s. I will never go here again and don t recommend anyone to go there.

Server was excellent wifes meal cold so didnt have to pay but still cold my eggs undercooked as well as sausages but french toast were great so my wife and I decided today November 22 2024 to give Dennys a shot again ba dmistake sign says ice cold beer. Barely cold and gentleman told cold as it gets wifes food cold told.server took it back gentleman brings plate of reheated eggs and hashbrowns back and says you get a discount cool. The bill comes no discount I reheated for you answer walked out

i ordered bourbon chkn sklt after long time, i remember when i usually order this while back it was enough in the bowl. i chose to take out and when i opened it on the way i was surprised to see it has only one little piece of chkn breast and very less quantity of vegetables.it was totally unworthy as compare to the price($23)

Today our experience was not nearly as good as it has been over the last 4-5 years. The creamer for my coffee came from our servers apron pocket. My wife s milk came from the fridge. Hers was ice cold, mine was warm and smelled bad. My bacon smelled gamey and tasted gamey. I never was offered a refill on my coffee until we were done eating already. Usually it s quite often I m offered a refill. Ordered fresh fruit that we didn t get but were charged for and had to have it removed. While paying we were at the counter, after we were already speaking to the hostess to pay the phone rang and we had to wait for her to resolve the call before we could pay. So overall not a great experience today. I hope it s not a sign of how things will be here now because it s been great in the past. Parking: Tons of parking for cars, trucks, RVs etc.

Didn t have the best experience here. Like we ordered our drinks and it took legit 10-15 minutes for them to show up, like it looked like there was one person working while everyone else were off having smoke breaks every 5 minutes. Then our food comes and the one thing was missing which I get things happen but it just snowballs from the drinks taking forever. My friends eggs benny tasted off that she couldn t finish her meal, they said it s because the recipe changed well change it back then. My bacon also tasted off, they then again said we changed our bacon again change it then cause clearly other reviews have said the same thing. My other friend asked for mayo and it was forgotten when the food came so the server said she would go get some but then she comes back to say that they are looking for some mayo. Like the server was new and couldn t find a manager or someone else to ask where it was she had to wait for them to get off their smoke break to get the answer that they didn t have any mayo. The whole experience was just weird, not blaming just our server because she tried but the communication isn t good here. We also complained in person, they didn t really show empathy or cared to give us at least something. Just the words sorry things changed .

I came here in the middle of a long trip and was treated to a lovely meal. I had a fun time talking with the staff especially Kelly who helped me accommodate a seating area request.

Today, my wife and I went to Denny s in Napanee ON. Our server was Casey, who was a great server, she was kind, courteous, and professional, which made our experience a positive one. The staff are all welcoming, friendly and happy to help. The new manager is also amazing. All in all, it was a great experience, and we will become repeat customers. Please, come and check them out!

Diksha is an amazing server much better then the last time I was here

Always a reliable stop on the way between Toronto and ottawa, the Dennys here and the flying J are a great alternative to the en routes for a break and a bite to eat. Had Diksha as a server today, very friendly and attentive. Will continue coming here in the future. Slow getting drink orders and food. Once food came nothing was like Denny food is normally. Pancakes were cold, bacon seemed like it was salty and microwaved and ham and hashbrowns were greasy . I had moon over my hammy and was totally different . It was not on sourdough bread ham and cheese was different and two types of cheese . Small portion of hashbrowns . Syrup was watered down . Drinks were brought as same time as food as it seems so we didn t ask for refills . After mentioning to server seemed short staffed she gave nervous smile . I suggested new owners she said three weeks prior . Said staff not happy with changes either . Disappointed as food is generally very consistent at Denny s. Won t go back to Napanee Denny s .

Dennys Napanee is always part of our annual trip up north and then back home. The food is always fresh and filling, and our server Dylan during our most recent visit was fantastic and dealt with our larger group many requests with a smile. Food

The wait staff is always top notch, but Ive never eaten at another Dennys where the kitchen staff was this slow...and lately it seems that the waitresses have to start the conversation with were out of this, we dont have that alot......kinda sad, nice place, nice people

Food was barely WARM, nevermind hot. No check-in from the server. Hollandaise sauce was too salty and runny, potatoes undercooked, burnt bacon, and undersized breakfast sausage. They never even bothered to refill our water or hot chocolate until we flagged them down and asked. Wouldnt recommend this location if you can help it.

Typically this casual dining spot is okay, but today, our server was very slow to check on our table, and I had to hunt her down for refills. The food was mixed. Eggs were good; however, the bacon tasted freezer burned and the pancakes tasted like the flour was old. Our party of five agreed that this was a mediocre visit. On the way to the front to pay, I passed at least four tables that hadnt been bussed yet, and there was lots of uneaten food on many plates, which confirmed my suspicions that the kitchen was serving subpart meals. I even saw a kitchen staff member leaving with bandages on 4/5 of the fingers ilon his right hand. Maybe coincidence, but it didnt make for a pleasant visit today.

Employee who met us at the door actually tried to dissuade us from coming in, greeted us by saying it would be at least 20 minutes before we would be served. We said that would be okay, we would visit if we just got our coffee. She said we wouldn t get that for 20 minutes either. The facility was not really that busy! Server was trying hard but not having a good day. Had to keep coming back to make changes to our order (breakfast), ran out of sausage; bacon was substituted which was ok but did not taste good! Because 2 of us asked for decaf coffee we had to wait for it to be brewed and it was ages coming. Pancakes were luke-warm, butter on top did not even melt down and syrup was artificial. All-in-all a poor experience

My partner and I both ordered the bacon ranch sandwiches. We had two servers throughout our visit. Our first one was a lovely younger lady in a hair bun with braces (I didn t catch her name). She input our order correctly as per our receipt, however, when our food arrived we received one bacon ranch sandwich and one BBQ chicken burger. Another server, who was older and short with glasses (again I didn t catch her name either) brought us the food. As I realized the sandwiches were wrong, she proceeded to say why are you looking at me like I m crazy. I politely explained to her that we both ordered the same sandwich and the BBQ one was wrong. She then said she may have the wrong table, went to check, said nope! It s the right table. So I felt obligated to take the BBQ chicken burger instead of upsetting this waitress. I d like to thank our first waitress for her hospitality but our second waitress made very unnecessary comments, and was loud throughout the entire restaurant and we heard multiple of her conversations with other guests.

Went out for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I havent been disappointed in service for a while, but this was bad. Our server took our order at 12:15pm, brought us our drinks and then ignored us. When we finally got her attention and asked for more coffee, she said yes, and then just didnt bring it. Our food took 45+ minutes to arrive, and the restaurant was maybe 25% full. We could see our burgers sitting under the heat lamp for at least 15mins. When the food was finally delivered by a different server, we asked for cutlery, so we could eat. The 2nd server went up to our original server and told her, as she had been standing at the computer/order kiosk for 10+ minutes. They had a verbal fight, moved around to the front desk, and then she finally brought us cutlery. By the time we got to eat our food was cold. She offered to reheat my eggs, but wed already been there an hour, and I couldnt bring myself to wait even longer. No discount, barely an acknowledgement of the problem. The only redeeming part is that their menu has a nice variety of food, and their renovations have improved the look of the place. Either way, I dont plan on going back any time soon.

Me and my husband are regulars at this dennies, and i am a harder customer to serve as i have food allergies. Our server tamy, is PHENOMINAL! Even if shes not our exact server shes always ready help and double check my allergens arent on my plate. Shes got an awesome vibe and makes our dining experience A+.

Update: I decided to give this place another try and I made a serious mistake. I ended up getting food poisoning from the uncooked slam burger. Lucky my kids eat slow and I stopped them from consuming this garbage. I ended up puking all night and had an uneasy stomach for the next few days. If you crave Dennys do your self a favor and drive up to the Belleville location. I never had any issues there. I gave you guys one final chance and you blew it. Could of cost me my life. Food poisoning may be serious in certain circumstances, what if I was seriously ill with a disease with a weaken immune system. Shame on you. I am glad I got sick and not my babies. Avoid this location at all cost. Unless you do not value your health or familys . Sadly this time we went this place is loosing its touch. My family and I have been here for breakfast many times and its always been good food and service. This time wow it droped the ball. Our waitress was kind and fast even though you can tell they were under staffed. Our food came and it was a disaster. The potatoes were raw, bacon and sausage almost raw. My wifes plate a complete write off. We tried eating it because we were so hungry but couldnt. Afterwards my wife felt ill for the rest of the day. As we were leaving I noticed the sign saying highering all positions. So hopefully this was due to new or no staff. I dont mind waiting longer for Cooked food. Hope things improve for next time. Update: manager reached out for more information regarding our visit after I answered the questions. Our conversation was over. I would think they would atleast comp our meal or offer us aleast a discount for a next visit. We will not be returning due to not making it right principle.
