Save yourself the aggravation don t spend your hard earned money at this location. Until properly managed and staffed. Poor service, Servers not properly trained in service etiquette. Adequate food not bad but only warm. When our concerns were brought to floor supervisors attention , we were met with an aggressive response and excuses she was understaffed. Our bill had hidden 3%. Gratuities fees we were unaware of until the bill came. I ve place a formal complaint to the head office awaiting a reply. Disappointed in my experience with this location.

Unfortunately , the service was lacking in an industry that thrives on service. I suggest the owner of this location reach out to this customer too get the full dissertation regarding the non service that was not provided. The supervisor Darha was confrontational and aggressive when it was pointed out that being understaffed is never a reason for poor service. My concerns were not validated by the senior staff on shift this evening. I didn t bring my concerns too her attention to get a discount or a free meal. Service in the restaurant business is basic 101!! Train your staff to serve customers properly. I invite the owner Renna to contact this customer. I will be contacting head office as well to address the staffing concerns at this location

Dhara is the best

The service of this restaurant is amazing and all staff are well trained as well. The server Vijay provided fabulous service. We ordered Loaded cheese fries, Spinach goad dip, and Mozzastick. All food of our order came to our table so quickly. We are really enjoyed a lot. We will definitely come back for sure at Chucks Roadhouse. Thank you

The food at this restaurant was very good

Ive always loved it here, even the other franchises ive been to. This location is super friendly and wonderful staff. Amazing food every time. BUT BE CAREFUL, Friday/Saturday nights especially, this location is a major Police presence. They wait for you across the street at the hotel, 2/3 police cruisers at a time. Multiple of my friends including myself have been pulled over leaving this restaurant location, didnt matter time or day, all different. Even two pints at dinner may put you in a Warning range ticket (not DUI/criminalcharge), which is still a $513 fine & a 3 day suspension for first offence. Just be cautious when leaving or always have a DD when coming here!

We went into chucks like the way we regularly do every once in a while. We went in last week of November and i would say I had the worst service experience in my life. The waiter was not responsive he couldnt even figure out what we needed. And when we asked him to split the Bills, he said he couldnt do it. Bruh this is such a common practice in all restaurants when they offer group dine in. Because all the things that happened to express our dissatisfaction i avoided giving him a tip. Then once he took our bill he came back from the counter to give us a lecture on the tipping culture. He said if we dont give him tips the chucks roadhouse is going to cut 15% of his pay, which he has to pay out of his pocket. Common guys what world are we living in. But would never ever go back to chucks again. Lucky you guys you lost 200$ business every two weeks.

Shannon was an amazing server!!! It was crazy as heck in here for the opening ....funny how people complain and give a bad review. These people were killing it to get things done!! This is for the new restaurant in Elliot lake ...

Wow what a dinner, and I say that in a horrible way. The waiter was rude, confusing and cut off my friend from Diet Coke, the food wasn t that good, small portions and took SO LONG. The prices aren t actually cheap so that s a lie, they literally charged a dollar for mayo, like girl we know you have a giant jug that costs like 5 dollars back there. Overall, yikes. Won t be returning nor would I ever recommend.

Terrible experience. No servers could be seen when we arrived at 11:35 on a Satutday. We were seated and then waited at least 20 minutes for server. They started taking orders for tables that arrived after us and it took 1 hr to get our food. My Philly cheese sandwich was only warm when it arrived. Ser er was excusing herself for poor service. I wont be going back plus they have some kind of service charge on the bill called honest to goodness fee of 3 % on the bill and there tip option on the debit machines start at 18%.

Went in for dinner with friends, ordered a burger with mayo and a few other condiments. Burger arrived and there was no mayo on my burger so when I asked the server for a side she said it was a 1$ charge for mayo, I ve never heard of a restaurant charging for normal condiments on a burger. Seems like a place to try and squeeze any dollar out of you that they can.

Came in with a big party tried to make a reservation but they wouldn t allow us to? We had to wait an hour after we were seated to get drinks it was horrible and the waitress reached over my food and her hair scrunchie touched my food and it was gross

Dined with 5 adults and one child. Appetizers were good. Pan cheese bread and spinach and goat cheese dip. Mains is a different story. We had wings, 5 steaks (2 poorly cooked) and a kids burger. The side mushrooms came out first, they re usually sizzling, they were cold. Wings next, they were warm. 3 steaks came next, slightly warm, if I was home I would have put it in the microwave. Mashed potatoes tasted old or stale or something gross is what they tasted like. Then 5 mins later the last steak came out and the kids burger. How is the kids burger the last thing to come out and it was SO hot he couldn t eat it, and by the time he could, it was uneatable. He spit it out this kid eats everything. It was so rubbery. Needless to say, we didn t order dessert.

waited 15 minutes to be served after sitting down, waited 10 for our food to be cleared, once clears waited another 25 minutes to be asked if we wanted the bill. we would have asked someone ourselves but it was impossible to get any servers attention.

i went with my homies and i had a great and wonderful experience or the food and service and the mozzarella sticks were amazing and streak set loin was so good. and the service provided to me from the girl in the red hair was amazing and she went above and and beyond for me and my friends.

Great place for a steak in Sudbury. Two different orders of two different cuts cooked two different ways, both perfect. Tender, juicy, flavorful. Lobster is Caribbean not east coast so a little less tender but tasty none the less.

I have only ordered the bruschetta flat bread and nachos. The quality and flavors of the flatbread was comparable to most fancier restaurants then a Roadhouse. That being said, the nachos were sub par. Small portion, not a lot of cheese. Just disappointed in it. The beer was cold and service was great.

Atmosphere was non-existant. Food was just OK Server was not attentive, no personality might have been owners relative. Kid-friendliness: Neither kid friendly or adult friendly. Our server did not speak very good English, looked frustrated when we had to ask her to repeat, not a very welcoming person. If you want to know who was serving we were there on Sept 24 at 1:30 and sat at the table on the way to the kitchen. We have been to many Chucks and this one did not live up to our expectations!

I have never had such poor service, and the food was nothing to brag about, when we put our used dishes on the end of our table many staff walked right by then one stopped and picked up one dish and left the rest, I was wanting another drink and waited 25 minutes before the food finally came before I was able to order. Overall I would not recommend this place.

My wife and I were greeted by a very friendly gentleman and we were seated within 5 minutes, our hostess Savi or Sami forgive me if I have the name incorrect working on Monday October 7th, she was so friendly and helpful, allowing us both to change our food choices without additional charges. My experience was terrible, and the manager (Dhara) was rude with us and blames on us for the unfortunate situation. I wont recommend going there for service and atmosphere. Behavior was not even bearable and understandable.

I would not recommend this place further as I had terrible experience today there with the manager, Dhara. I was in there at chucks some time last week and my server Christina was very helpful and accommodating. She took our order in a timely manner and recommended my new favourite dish. I highly recommend coming here, and will be coming back

We came for the 1/2 price appetizers. When we were asked about wanting to sit at the bar side or restaurant,we told her restaurant and got a cold stare and eye roll. The only thing that was fresh was the deep fried onion rings outta everything we got. The steak bites were luke warm and flaveloress. Its too bad because they looked good. I was so excited for those. The bruschetta bread was good. But everything else was mediocre and came so fast you could tell it was sitting in a warmer. The Shirley temple I got was not sweet at all either.. It tasted like just pop. The waitress was very nice tho. She was very sweet. We tipped her anyhow because she was lovely. Would not buy the appetizers again. The supper itself is good the last time I was here.

Came here for my uncles birthday and they treated him with a piece of cake which was really nice. Loved seeing all my little cousins and aunts and uncles. It was a great occasion with great service. They had no problem putting four tables together to accommodate.

Highly recommend for good prices and good food. After 9pm they have appetizers 1/2 price, and wings count as an appetizer.

We had a great experience tonight. We arrived at the restaurant on Wednesday at 5:30! The very busiest of times as their wings and ribs combo is such a great deal on Wednesday nights! There were 6 of us plus an infant in a high chair. Most places have a difficult time accommodating such a large group at the best of times, but not only did they have a table for us within 5 minutes, the front of house manager actually made arrangements to give us a better table to ensure that we were comfortable with the little one. Our server Savi was excellent and served our table very attentively. She also ensures that our little ones food came out quickly so that he could eat right away. Overall a wonderful experience tonight. Kudos to the staff on a job well done.

Went to this place with a party of 12. Ordered a Porterhouse, As did one of my friends. The variance in size between the two steaks was ludicrous, I received a steak that was half the size of the one next to it, and when I spoke to my server to try and correct this he gave me a story about how he didn t butcher it and this was how they got them. Ate my food, paid, (they charged me for the steak) and left. I Wouldn t recommend this location to anyone, truly and honestly the worst I ve ever been treated by a server and management when trying to address an issue.

Great Burger.

Had a late lunch on July 20th. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was great, well prepared, and they even had non alcoholic beer for our cousin. Prices were reasonable. The restaurant has a number of tvs showing sporting events, the acoustics not the greatest for conversation. We are looking forward to the opening of Chucks in Elliot Lake!

My husband and I have gone to many Chucks Roadhouse in Ontario but it seems that every time we go to the one in Sudbury theres an issue. We both got our steaks and they were cold. Had to send them back. They made us new ones but by then we were so hungry that we had eaten our sides. Chef should know not to send out cold steaks...

I rarely give 5 stars but I was pleasantly surprised and it is well deserved. We were a party of 7 people there to celebrate a birthday. I called ahead 30 min., as was suggested to be placed on the seating list. It is a very busy restaurant the dining, bar and outdoors area were almost full. We were seated within 5min. Savi our waitress was exceptional, as well as the people that greated us at the door; friendly and accommodating. That alone for us deserves 5 stars. The food is extremely reasonably priced as well as the cocktails. We tried a variety of food items; steak/lobster, burger, ribs/chicken, nachos with the buffalo chicken, salad, chicken tenders/wings, warm garlic bread. Everyone was very satisfied and pleased. We tried all four desserts. The groups favourites: sticky toffee pudding, cherry cobbler and the klondike crumble. We will definitely be going back to the Sudbury location! Parking: Happy they have a big private parking lot; front and back of the restaurant.

Super nice and friendly staff, great food

For the price it cant be matched... we fed 4 with a table app, drinks, 4 surf and turf entries, and a dessert for $200cad. We are American, so it was $170usd. That would be over $250usd anywhere near us.

The service was great from the moment we walked in and seated, our waitress was wonderful she even helped my wife pick out a drink. The food was fantastic and done to perfection, I had the Rib Eye Steak and my wife had Ribs & Wings Combo. This is the first time we have been here, it was for our anniversary. Because of the atmosphere in the restaurant and our waitress, we will definitely be back. Sorry for not getting our waitress name on my bill it had PM Bar, we were at Table 12 we left @ 4:30 pm. Tasty a bit pricey for the portions you get. At the bare minimum Id recommend doubling the size of all your fries portion.

Had the surf and turf and definitely cannot complain, about the food or the price. Server was attentive but not hovering.

We had a party of 9 attending on Aug 15/24 to the Sudbury location. I had called to make a reservation but was told they do not do that. I was never offered any solutions or recommendations. So part of the group showed up 45 minutes early to make sure we could get a table together. When we arrived we were told that we could have been placed on a waitlist. I was not impressed at all but the Hostess was very quick in getting a table together for us in 5 minutes! She was amazing. We then had Vijay as a our server and I tell you this young man was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, kind, patient and understanding. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience. My only issue with dinner was the noise levels were very high and it was very hard to hear people across the table. Not sure much can be done about that but at least if you are aware of this and are ok with this its great food at an affordable price. I will go back for sure but only in smaller groups.

We visit this particular location every Friday. One of the cheapest beers in town and appetizers are half price after 9pm. Must visit if you love drinking with your buds. Also, do try the butter tofee pudding desert, its delicious

Place was packed, had a table for 6 in about 10 minutes. Service was prompt, had food and drinks in about 15 minutes.

First time there and will be the last, watched the cook eating food and then lick his fingers while he was preparing customers meals. Also, Music was a bit too loud. You have to yell across the table. Stupid me went back. Food was OK. But the kitchen was disgusting very very dirty. Garbage can upside down. Garbage all over. The bartender cleaned wiped all the dirt and food off the counter onto the clean cups and mugs. Once I figure out how to post pictures I will post some of the kitchen. DO NOT EAT HERE

Great family restaurant or gathering place with your buds to watch the game. The steaks are delicious and cooked right every time I went. Prices are fantastic with prime steak and lobster topping the menu at $37 but a fresh juicy burger and fries for only $9. I ve ordered take out from there as well and the food hot and ready on time. Parking: Plenty of free parking onsite

I ordered a ceaser salad and half of the salad was brown lettuce and was disappointing, otherwise it tasted good and they repo d the salad off the bill, what the flip man.

Everything was excellent until the table next to ours brought a dog in a pack sac style doggy cage. Restaurant is not for pets and the hostice should have refused the doggy bag. Pets can stay in the car.

I ordered loaded cheese fries through Christina who recommended it to me. She was very polite and helpful when I asked for recommendations. Highly recommend and will order again

First time there. Very busy and cramped. Service was rushed, possibly short staffed as the server did not seem to have time to engage with the customer. Atmosphere, clean but loud. Im not sure if they would consider a sensory evening. The whole meal was over seasoned with steak spice, including the pan mushrooms. Ill give it a try again later and update the review.

I just visited the Sudbury location today (July 21st between 7:15pm and 8pm) and had the worst experience I ve ever experienced due to extreme lack of service from our server Dhara. It took 10 minutes for the server to even come over and take drink orders and then once we got our meals she didn t check on us once until we were pretty much done eating despite having walked by our table 7 times and at this point our drinks were all empty as well. It then took 10 minutes for the server to even come by once we had all finished our meals to ask us if we wanted dessert which we declined and then another 5 minutes for the server to bring us our bill. A table walked in while we were eating for her section and they were there at least 15 minutes before the server even went to get drink orders from them and hadn t even acknowledged them whatsoever beforehand. This server in particular only had 2 tables during this time. I ve been to the location a few times and this server has served me before as well with the same experience. It s just not an enjoyable experience at all but the food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly and I never have any complaints about the food but the customer experience is definitely lacking.

I am a physician and often working long hours and often I dont get to go to dinner till after 10 pm. I always look forward to going to Chucks where I stand out by sitting and reading books on physics to relax. I am very impressed with Chucks. First and foremost the staff are excellent. They go out of their way to welcome me back and remember me and my what I typically order and things weve discussed previously. Since I arrive late, Im often one of the last to leave. I then have had the opportunity to chat with some of the waiters and learn about them and their histories and interests. The owner is often present, and he comes over to chat with me and see how things are going. The beers are excellent and they have a very nice new IPA and the beer is embarrassingly cheap!! My favorite and go to order is the Filet Mignon rare. It is half the price of a similar steak at other more famous steak restaurants, and BETTER! It is always cooked to perfection, and looks like and tastes like a real steak I would buy at a butcher!! This may sound strange, but at other restaurants somehow the steaks often look and tase like they have somehow been processed. I dont watch sports since Im focused on reading, but there is a plethora of big screen tvs for those who do! I would heartily recommend Chucks Roadhouse for anyone! Dr. Dave Webster

Had the new york steak and it was terrible, tough and grisly. Cooked the way I ordered it but meat was awful. At least they took it off the bill.

Excellent food and service

Everybody, is very good here, great Atmosphere.

My family and I got placed in a booth directly in the sunlight with no curtains or anything after waiting 20 minutes to get in the restaurant, which I then found out is a barren room with 12 TVs playing the same channel and no further decorations past the front door. After waiting an excruciating amount of time for our food, we ended up having to send literally all of it back. They managed to undercook not one but FOUR different meals, all of which were missing various ingredients. When we complained to the waitress, she informed us that literally every piece of food they keep in the back is frozen from the steaks to the lobster to the burgers. The serving staff was great and I have zero complaints about them. In fact, Im only giving them a good review because of how shockingly forthcoming with that information they were. I would avoid this place like the plague. If you check their website theres a whole thing about being old school food at old school prices and it turns out the reason the prices are so low compared to everyone else is because theyre feeding you undercooked trash.

waitress was very friendly and helpful. food is cheap and delicious, especially the garlic bread.

I decided to try this place again because of the prices but it was a total mess. the atmosphere at chucks is extremely off the service has never been good other then the blonde bartender. My steak came out the wrong temperature and they asked if it was cooked right when I said no they took it back but then the manager came over and argued with me for 10 minutes in front of the whole restaurant I was extremely embarrassed to the point I just said forget it and give me the steak back it was honestly a weird. then when the waiter gave me the steak back she stood at my table saying if it s not cooked right she will bring it back and if I m not happy with my steak then she will get the kitchen to re cook it for me which was completely annoying at this point after I just had a manager argue with me saying my steak is cooked perfect for 10 minutes and then I had the waiter who would not stop bugging me to go cook me a new steak. If it was going to be like that why wouldn t you guys have just remade it the first time I said it wasn t cooked right. She would not stop asking the same question over and over and she would not leave our table it was completely unnecessary and uncomfortable to try and eat while constantly repeating myself over and over to the waiter. They did give us a free dessert on the house which I really appreciate but the experience was nothing but odd and uncomfortable. I am a server at a restaurant and I have been in the industry for years now and I am definitely not one to complain but this location is a very uncomfortable place to eat out and enjoy yourself. Definitely worth saving your money and going out somewhere with better service and management(:

Had the filet mignon and lobster tail, the lobster tail was cooked to perfection - melt in your mouth. Steak was cooked perfectly to what I requested. Service was good. Got a piece of cake for my birthday. Can t go wrong with the prices.

What a disappointment. Visited the Sudbury location with an in-law. Ordered steak bites which were so overcooked they lacked any taste and could not detect any garlic. Dry as a bone. We also ordered the lightly dusted calamari and only wished i had taken a picture of it. It came with about 8 rings and weren t lightly dusted but breaded like you buy in the freezer section in a grocery store and were every bit as awful. The honey garlic wings we ordered were ok (had better often) but when i asked our server for a dipping sauce like blue cheese or ranch, he looked at us like we had two heads and said they don t. If you look on the pictures on line where menu is shown, it clearly shows a dip is available. All in all a bad experience. The $4 beers were good though. Hard to mess that up. It was 1:30 on Friday March break and the place was near empty, i think I understand. I walked out $75 lighter and hungry for good food. Just a follow up on this review posted last month. As you can see Chucks responded, sounds promising? Well after a few emails back and forth Chucks had asked for a copy of my receipt which i did send. A few weeks later they emailed saying a gift card was going to be emailed. That gift card never came and they suggested check spam and trash. Still no card. Funny i could get all their other emails. They don t answer emails sent after. At any rate that just makes the experience even more unsatisfying. Next time your going out i would suggest give this place a pass and go up the road to Fionn Macools great food good prices friendly service and no 3% hospatility fee? There is also shoeless Joes. If i want to eat food out of a freezer box i can stay home.

Went to watch the game. Cheery atmosphere even though the Leafs lost. Had wings and fries. Food was a bit cold cause it was precooked for the game, fries were soggy. But all in all was a good night. Will return

If I could give 10 stars I would. 1st time there and wont be the Last. We were promptly seated and our drinks took 3 minutes. Our order was taken and within 10 minutes our food was in front of us, and was piping hot. Food was excellent and I am very picky eater. Our server was always checking on us and not while we had our mouths full lol. I highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons... food, service, staff atmosphere etc. Thanks Rhina lol I know you said not to but you are amazing. See you soon

Pricing very affordable

Came for my grandmas birthday with a big group and our server avai did a great job!!

It started as a pleasant evening but quickly turn to a negative experience when I witnessed a female manager berating and belittling one of her servers to the point of making her break down into tears. i would suggest that management take classes on what mannor is exeptable to treat hard working individual and turn their energy on training the other staff member that clearly has no clue what customer service is or how to be an effective server. Her time would be better utilised helping the less competent server. It will be a while before I even consider going back... Hey Sudbury... lets checkout Shoeless Joes across the street.

Time and time again, I have visited this location and had many meals. The sub-par at best food can be forgiven, but what keeps bringing me back is the service, particularly from one server by the name of Kim. Tonight, I also heard Kim being belittled by another woman in the restaurant. Kims table side manner and politeness are among the rarest of qualities in todays world. When Im seated at one of her tables she treats me with respect, kindness and honesty. She gives a real welcoming presence to my meal. Managers do better!

I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. It cost $14 for 6 pieces of calamari and only got 6 pieces of bread with our dip. None of the meals are even worth your time. Go to shoeless joes across the street.

The food was amazing! The prices are very reasonable! We highly recommend trying Chuck s Roadhouse if you have not tried it yet! The service was excellent! We only had approximately a 20 minute wait even though the restaurant was packed! Will be going again soon!

Great sport bar atmosphere! Great beer prices for the leafs game. Our server Ashley did an amazing job!
