I went out to js roadhouse with my family to celebrate a special occasion. I was hesitant to go to this place as it comes off as a regular burger bar, and sudbury is full of great options. One of my family members strongly suggested going to js roadhouse, and I was totally shocked at the quality of food. I tried a bit of everyones food at the table, and I must say that every single dish was awesome! I had a king Henry as an alcoholic beverage, and some of my family members picked different drinks, and they were all a pleasant treat. I will return to js roadhouse in the future, and Im glad I had the opportunity to experience this place. Parking: There was maybe 25-30 parking spots. Kid-friendliness: I was there with a few kids and the servers were super polite to them. They had a kids menu and the kids loved it.

The roasted red pepper soup was delicious. Club house and ceaser salad was also very yummy. It was our first time there and will definitely go back.

Service was great. Food was great. Even with a pretty full restaurant the food came quick. We left happy and satisfied. We will be going back.

Tried this place for a family dinner party. List of issues negatives and positive as follows. Nalegatives are: 1. Had to be affirmative to be served With our party. 2. Not enough room to accommodate everyone. 3. Had to clean our own table. 4. Tables was chipped and missing edging causing stickiness. Sticking to my clothes. 5. Hair in our my ceasars salad 6. Had to ask to be served. 7. Had to ask for cutlery. 8. To request clean up after meal. 9. Did not receive requested. 10. Pricing on wine was different then what was mentioned. Positives 1. Friendly service and apologetic. 2. Steak and Wine was good. 3. We were offered a componsation on our meal with hair in. However we declined as it was were wernt looking for freebies. Our meall was slightly discounted. So cuddos on that. We may try this place again in hopes of improvement. This place has potential and hoping for a better outcome next time.

Meh. Paid $29 for the steak 10 oz, got a steak knife, no utensils. Waited for a fork, while it went to room temperature. The fries were dry and inedible. The wine and the steak were the only redeeming qualities of the meal. First and last time here. Would not recommend.

First time February 17 , 2024. Didnt even make it through the doorway before we got a very friendly welcome. It was busy but we were taken to a booth immediately. Servers were attentive, the food was great and the portions just right. Reasonable pricing, great atmosphere and friendly staff ! Thanks for a great experience, highly recommend!

We love to go out Friday nights for supper. The only thing I dont like is that the live music is too loud. I enjoy the music but turn it down a little so we can chat with friends.

Place came highly toted. Ordered the smoked meat and for 17.50 I was expecting it to be jacked but the meat was lacking, you get more in a half pack of store bought. Bread was soggy. There was zero taste, I guess its why they add swiss cheese. Poutine was rough. Lumpy gravy. Chunks of the top skin. Curds were very minimal, fries were all the odds and ends and few full size. Cashier was friendly.

I called inquiring about an order for sweet potato fries which consisted of like 10 fries. When I called to ask about the ridiculously small amount I received, the staff was rude & said they didn t have time for this Not only that, they were cold & mushy. Save your money!

Service was amazing, boy can they make a Mojito, yummy. Twice we go, and both times, the food wasnt the greatest. Mashed potatoes taste like they were powdered, and the battered fish was soggy in the middle.

My burger tasted like it was fried in rancid oil. I got onions in my food, after telling the server I had a sensitivity. I was unable to eat my food and had distress from my food sensitivity. The fries in my poutine were over cooked, had a burnt flavor, but looked good. There were no garnishes or pickles. This place has declined a lot from years past food wise.

We went for dinner here for the first time with 5 adults and 4 kids. Service was amazing, very quick considering how busy it was. Waitress was great. All food we tried was delicious. Burgers... Fish and chips... Wing.. Cheese sticks (they comes with a bruschetta like dip) club house...Montreal on rye... Fettuccini. Live music at 7 started it wad also wonderful. We will be back!! Didnt even have leftovers like we usually do. Was too good!

our waitress disappeared and after 30 or so minutes another one came over and took over, our waitress only came back with the bill, the mushroom caps werent great, but I did enjoy the garlic bread and mozzarella sticks, however was not allowed to order them outside the starter platter, when I asked was told no, as I dont like fries, fried pickles, or onion rings I asked if I could the get some things exchanged since I dont like them, and was told no it was too complicated.. the wings were very good and well priced though. although I enjoyed the wings, I probably wont return to this restaurant. Edit** I received a reply asking me to contact them about my experience. I sent them 3 emails, I never heard back. Leaving my 1 star rating.

I went to watch the game, they had it on which was great. The servers were super nice, but in my opinion, the wings were mediocre.. the medium wing sauce was just alright. I would likely go back and try something else based on the service.

Ribs were like the frozen ribs you find at a dollar store. My meal was frozen veges, terrible ribs, almost no sauce, and good fries. For a bar and grill, not much grilling.

The food was just okay. We can make better tasting food at home for less money. The ribs were not grilled and served with frozen vegetables. The live music was too loud. We couldnt hear eachother.

A clean, pleasant environment. Our server was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic. Although I will say I asked for no tomato (preference) and still got one on my food. Im convinced if I would have sent it back it wouldnt have been an issue. 100% recommend for a nice night out. Also the poutine is out of this world.

Was pleasantly surprised to see J s open on a Sunday today for Fathers Day! Our server Naomi was exceptional, friendly, efficient and polite. She started us with drinks, she made a delicious Caesar for my dad and I loved my Sangria with the green apple vodka. She shared the special, asked if we wanted refills for our drinks and came back a couple times to see how we were enjoying our dinner and all with a smile. We were a party of 4. Two of us had the tasty rib special and I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. The food was cooked deliciously by Manave and served to us in nice large portions. Thanks for the wonderful service we plan to come back again soon. Can t wait to try out the patio area as well.

Impressive! I was there on Fathers day. I had a half rack on ribs. Naomis service was impeccable. Sure, it wasnt busy, but usually thats when Servers disappear. Not here. Naomi came to the table at all the right times! She immediately told us the specials and took our drink order. She got the order perfectly. Oh and the food was delicious, the ribs fell off the bone. Yummy. The poutine was the perfectly made with curds and fresh gravy. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Clean and spacious. You did not feel like you were crowded into the place at maximum capacity. I understand they have live music on Friday nights. Sometime to look forward to next visit. Naomi told us about the patio as well. It looked clean with the glass railings. Well done. Prices were reasonable too, especially considering how good it was. Naomi mention regulars were sitting at the bar. I can see how that can happen there. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. I highly recommend going there if you havent yet.

First time going here, took my mother, we thought we wpuld try something different we wish now we hadnt, order the Philly steak and it was so dry my mother couldnt eat it, and the sun coming through the blinds was hard to sit and talk when I couldnt see, we told the waitress bout our food and all that was offered was 20 percent off, disappointed that this wasnt a better meal, will. Never been more disappointed with take out. Burger was very salty and greasy witch made it very soggy and same with the onion rings and Buffalo chicken burger. All too salty greasy and soggy. Couldn t even taste the Buffalo sauce on the chicken burger. Had a side order or sweet potato fries and they were very wet and soggy. Very expensive for awful food. So dissatisfied. Over $20 for the burger and onion rings and over $20 for the chicken burger and sweet potato fries. Kids chicken fingers meal was also awful soggy and very greasy

Well where do I start... The service was sub par at best. We lost our server before we received our food. The food came quite late even though they werent so busy. Most of our meals did not hit the spot. The burgers are not very good, I make better burgers on a bad day. The fries are way too salty and the drinks way too spicy. All and all not a great experience... At best I can consider it food.

Food : 4/5 I had the Montreal smoked meat sandwich, my partner had the fish and chips with upgraded poutine Both meals were excellent and very filling Atmosphere: Our booth was rumbling the entire meal. Like literally rumbling as if we had vibrating chairs. Stuff kept falling off the table, no idea what rumble was, went on for a good 40 mins. We saw a small black mouse as we were leaving, not great. Kinda put us off the place, would maybe do takeout but wouldnt eat inside again.

Great atmosphere. Food tasted great and looked great (even on other tables). I had the stir fry special and absolutely loved it. Morgan the bartender was amazing. Worth it.

I have ordered pick up from this location probably 50 plus times. When they answer the phone it is always with a very cheery attitude and enthusiasm. It is always ready for me with in 10 to 20 minutes tops. I recently met one of the chefs, Shane, super nice guy and cares very much about the quality of the food. I highly recommend this location. First timer! (Lunch) Truly delicious food, my husband and I got the platter, gyro and pad Thai. Everything was very delicious! I truly love the waitress/bartender. I couldn t remember her name but she was very friendly, informative - overall an amazing woman! She makes me want to come back! Visited on July 19, 2022 at 12:30 pm ish. Thank you for the amazing, fast experience and delicious food! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

First time going here 07/19/22 and the food was great! On the other hand the service was not great. I ordered a caesar and when it came there was at least an inch of Worcestershire sauce sitting at the bottom and was completely undrinkable. I hesitated for so long to inform her and when I finally did and said there s too much worcestershire she replied with that s funny cause I only put like 3 drops in it, do you want another without the sauce? or another drink . I ordered a beer instead, and when she went behind the bar to get it she mocked me under my breath it has too much worcestershire i cant drink it while rolling her eyes. I already felt bad enough for sending back the drink but her comments made me really uncomfortable and the rest of the time there was not enjoyable.

Amazing service and their wings were absolutely amazing. We ordered bruchetta bread and it came without the glaze, when we told the server. He asked the cook and was informed after that they were out. We were a percentage off with an appolagy and it was very sincere. I would definitely go again and I would also recommend this restaurant.

Overall good restaurant, not too busy like other places. Parking is a little tight but no problem. Food was very good, served hot and fairly quick, warning for picky eaters that you can t substitute your food here apparently. Only thing is that our waitress immediately gave off the vibe that she didn t want to be here. I mean I don t blame her, not everyone has a good day right? However her care was slightly lacking, could have just been a bad day though. Once again, overall great experience, looking forward to potentially coming here again!

We got the Spicy Chicken sandwich as a take out item, due to covid. It was a very good sandwich. Very fresh, real chicken breast, that was a food size. Fries are delicious and taste hand cut and the onion rings were also good quality. Definitely recommened.

We have ordered a few times now using skip the dishes because of the lockdown. The food is packed very good, with hot and cold separated. Nice big trays, cutlery, they definitely don t cheap out. Love their salads, very big, can t eat it all in one sitting. Chicken wings are great and arguably cheapest in town. Wife likes the wonton soup. We are definitely repeat customers. Looking forward to dining in when the lockdown ends. Support local.

My gf and I eat here every once in a while when we don t feel like cooking. We ve tried their steak sandwich, Buffalo chicken sandwich, as well as other things. It s been nothing but great food every time. Super tender steak each time I ve ordered and the chicken sandwich is never tough or dry. Definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

First time ordering, very disappointed, the pasta had zero to no sauce on it, it was dry, the veal parm was so over cooked it was barely eatable there was no parm cheese on the veal parm it was topped with shredded marble cheese instead?????!!!!!, the meat balls in the order were borderline burnt, and the philly cheese steak sandwich, was made with raw green peppers instead of sauteed with the onion, very disappointing over all, p.s. the mixed salad was good

I have eaten there 2x in a week. After my amazing yummy meal the first time, I knew I didnt want to wait long before going back. The Wings & Mushroom Caps were so yummy. Service was great. My friends also loved their meals. I cant wait to try more items.

Always like to give my honest feedback for restaurants. I wasn t happy with the food order. Ordered fish & chips; the fries was cold, and the fish wasn t hot. Also, ordered a BLT sandwich, it was very basic and not enough mayo. I will try them at another time, and will review my star rating based on consistency.
