Been here a few times and had wonderful experiences with the servers especially Brittany makes it feel like home cooked food every time, and always leaving with a smile and empty plate! The food is good quality, nothing ground breaking, but just really solid bar food with a few elegant twists. What sets this location apart from others is the service. I hope the owner reads this and knows thats why I come here over other nearby options. Vegetarian options: They offer a few options like cauliflower appetizers and a vegan chicken wings option. Parking: Its just a big open free lot, nuff said. Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly and Ive brought my kids here, I wouldnt consider it a prime location for kids, but completely safe and fine. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no stairs, minor lip at the door that I can only assume would not be an issue for a wheelchair. Plenty of parking, wide open lot. I assume it would be pretty easy for someone with physical struggles (wheelchair, crutches, walker, etc)

Extremely disappointing visit. Took the waitress 30 mins to come for our drink order. Once we made our orders we had to wait 40 mins, Then had the waitress deliver nearly bone dry wings when we all had ordered sauced wet wings. After dropping them off and not asking if we needed anything else she then left without leaving any utensils or condiments. So we waited again to get those. So bad food, TERRIBLE service . Oh and don t forget Longgggg waits. In total our 3 orders of boneless wings and drinks took a staggering 1hr and 45 mins for some of the worst food I have had in a while .

I brought my adult children out for lunch. They had good options on their lunch menu as well as their good potions. The waitress was excellent

So much potential. I have been here many times for dinner and it is always hit or miss. Not the staff s fault just never enough servers. The food can be good sometimes and others I wish I hadn t went there. Great Bar but way more work and management needed to considered a Grill Parking: Parking is not an issue at all here.

Have been a few times and it always seems like they only have 2 waitresses who take care of the entire front end Never enough staff to tend to the customers and it gets busy enough.. Continuously disappointing wait times.

My choice tonight was franchise or non- franchise. Hmmm. Service was fine. The food wasn t. The calamari was soaking with grease. Salad was great. Wings were over done and shrivelled. I should have known better. 2 stars. One for the server and one for my salad.

The food is good standard pub grub: burgers wings, fries, ribs ect.. They do it well too, lots of quality! Their fries help make this place stand out above other similar restaurants, theyre long and thick while being perfectly balanced between crispy and soft I usually order the burgers and chicken burgers. Great place for watching sports, with more than enough tv coverage from every seating angle I dont come here too often however it is a sure fire bet for good food with a good bar Vegetarian options: They have a beyond meat burger suitable for vegetarians, Im not sure if the bread is vegan though Parking: Plenty of parking all round for the size of the restaurant.

Service was attentive and welcoming. Food was a good and pleasant surprise salds as a meal were better than expected and not an afterthought.

Ordered wings and fries for take out and not only was it grossly overpriced for what we got...we had barely a handful of fries in our container and the wings were way overcooked it was like eating jerky.

I was given rotten lettuce in my 20.00 salad. Refused a refund and was offered voucher to eat there again. The salad was gross disgusting and bead office is ignoring me. The owner doesnt care! Food : 1/5

Went in at 7:40pm. Wasnt packed. Took till almost 9:40pm to get food. Insane. We had a reservation it was for an event. Some kids fell asleep waiting...., insanely horrible service everytime. Which is why we dont love going here and tend not to.

Worst service ever.the staff choose who they want to acknowledge. Pre ordered and still had to wait 20 minutes with only 4 people in the restaurant. Ended up leaving with no order. Too passed off.calle to let them know what happened. They said they were busy and did acknowledged.

Went there this past Friday for supper. On arrival was seated at the bar. We waited 5 mins to even be spoken to after being seated. Finally was served. Was told they are out of dill sauce, fries and something else. When asked what our other options were to go with our wings, we were told onion rings, sweet potato fries, or one additional wing. We elected for sweet potato fries. When the bill came I was shocked to see an additional charge of $4 for sweet potato fries. They were out of fries is the first issue, the second one I have is I was not told there would be an additional charge. Not good customer service.

We got appetizers, drinks and supper, new waitress.. so we were understanding but took a while for service , food was cold, chicken fingers were like rubber and we had to go to counter to ask for a to go order because she was busy texting with a guy at the counter. Only thing good was the drinks when we finally received them.

We were 1 table of 4 dining, service started great but once our food arrived the waitress was too busy talking with her friends at the bar. Our order was wrong but was put in to the kitchen correctly, we heard the cook make a rude comment that it was the waitress fault for not checking the order before bringing it out (he was out talking with his friends). The nachos were over cooked and missing the jalapeños, the burger was missing the cheese from the cheeseburger and there was normal fries instead of sweet potatoe fries. Not a difficult order and not a busy kitchen, I would hate to see how bad it would be if it was busy.

service was terrible the waitress kept making excuses about problems with supplies but stood around at the bar talking to fellow employees.one of the burgers we ordered tasted bad like the meat had turned.the waitress said she gave a discount for that but after reviewing my receipt today there was 0 discount applied.meals were overpriced and quantities were not very good i would not recommend eating here if you do check your bill before you leave!!

Used to like this place, but the service has become consistently bad lately. They seem to frequently have supply issues and will replace their signature thick cut fries with shoelace fries without warning... and fail to put the fries and cheese curds into the poutine topping for a burger ordered from their menu. Called to register a complaint for these issues and was promised a call back from the manager the following day, but that never happened. Poor service all around.

We went tonight as a family of 4 for dinner. When we first arrived we were told they were out of onion rings, cheese curds, dill sauce and southern BBQ sauce. We were all really hungry so we stayed. My husband,daughter and myself all ordered the rib and wing combos(most expensive meal on the menu $25 each) our other daughter got the chicken burger and poutine styled the fries. Waitress came back about 15 minutes later to inform us they then ran out of fries and were serving frozen fries . After atleast 40 minutes we finally received our food. I was served first, while the other 3 had to wait another 5 minutes for their plates to arrive. Their $25 meal consisted of half rack of ribs that were overcooked and tasted like boxed ribs, 4 small tiny wings that were terrible and cold with a poutine that was maybe 10 fries in a little bowl, was missing the coleslaw as well. My husband and daughter received their meals and again small rack of gross ribs My husband had 4 flat wings and my daughter only got 3 wings with her and maybe 15 fries again missing coleslaw. Fries were also half frozen and gross. Waitress was apologetic when we spoke up about the meal and offered us coupons for 1lb of free wings for the location which we will never return to again. She did bring my husband and daughter each 2 more wings but never offered me any. My other daughters chicken burger was cold and the batter was dark and burnt in color. We will never return to another st louis because of this one location and their service. We would have turned the meals away but we were hungry and really didnt feel like going elsewhere. I was so disappointed getting a $130 bill when our meals and service was atrocious. Only good thing at this location was the beer. Save yourself time and money and go across the street to MacDonald youll get more food and better quality.

Took long to be seated. Wife ordered fish tacos, but got fish & chips. Server took it back to let the BOH deepfry the pieces again, and slap em in a taco with some crumbly cheese. Server brought food, almost left wiithout providing cutlery. Had to eat our meals with plastic forks. No ketchup bottles, but plenty of mustard and relish on the tables? Watched bartender take a drink from a patrons drink, while waiting 15 mins for my drink. By the time the wifes fish tacos came out, my food was fairly cold. Poor experience almost all around.

What has happened to the dining experience ?! -Took 5 minutes to be acknowledged and there were 4-5 tables. - Bench was filthy. - Watched the bartender take a swig of a customers beverage. - Server forgot our utensils, drinks and order ! - Had to eat cold food with plastic utensils.

Went this afternoon for lunch and the lady that seated us was very nice. The second waitress not so much seemed like she hated her job. The food was overcooked and the calamari was super greasy as was the fish and chips. Will not be going back. Sad since there are not many restaurants in Hanmer.

It was a nice quite evening only a couple other tables were occupied. The waitress was curtious and friendly although she messed up the order, and forgot a drink and couldnt remember who ordered what.Apart from that the food was great,although the portion size for kids is huge and I have more fingers on my hands than the fries I recieved. I would still go back and still leave a tip. Hopefully she was just having a rough evening.

Have been going to this location for about 5-6 months here and there. they never disappoint, the food is amazing, always fresh, the chicken is a phenomenal choice, crispy and juicy lol. the costumer service is good, the one downside is that they always seem low staffed and take a bit to recognize you when you step in but that s sudbury for you. all in all it s a great place to go if you re looking for some nice food and a good customer service experience.

We felt so bad for one girl acting as server / bar tender / hostess / takeout cash, to a restaurant that was filling up, only one person that we saw working out front for all customers. The 4 of us decided to leave not because of the service (we never got to order) but to relieve some of the pressure off her, at one point I thought she just went into the back to cry. We ended up at Cousin Vinny s where they had ample staff to take care of our food and drinks. That girl working last night is probably a rock star server, I suggest you start with retaining her. You lost $200 in sales last night.

Ordered a wing poutine for pick up and didn t receive any gravy with it the point of ordering out is so you don t need to cook. I work in food too but like come on, the staff should make sure all things are in the bag especially when it s literally apart of the meal. Really disappointed

The rating is just for the food. If youre going to enforce covid rules do it for everyone and not just people you dont know. I was told I couldnt sit at a particular table because the one next to it was occupied. 5-10 minutes later 2 guys sat at that very table with no problems even though the other table was still occupied. Wont be going back to the Hanmer location.

Ive always liked St. Louis and this location is the same. They had some kitchen issues due to the reopening of Ontario businesses so our food took forever but the staff did a fantastic job of looking after everyone including so no damage done here.

Well unfortunately my significant other forgot her vaccination passport,so we sat out on the patio. After being seated and ordering our drinks, we waited outside by ourselves for approximately 20-25 minutes with no one returning; so we got up and left

Food was good. Got take out. Didnt have to wait much longer than the online ordering system said I had to wait. I would not recommend bringing a child to this restaurant tho. The music was blaring, could hear people trying to tell over the music.

I wish I could rate zero stars. They were out of their promotion item (all you can eat wings) so I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. It was so dry and flavorless I added ketchup and vinegar only because I was starving and didnt want to stop again for food elsewhere.

Went there for the all-you-can-eat chicken bites but they ended up being all out. the service took forever because it was her second shift and it seemed like she was the only one working so not her fault by any means. had to send my water back because there was floating particles in it and then ended up being floaties in the second one as well. The wife had cold chicken and other items were forgotten, the appetizer took his long to come out as a dinner should believe we waited an hour in total to get our food. Usually like this place but they were slackn that night.

Went there to grab a take out poutine and can honestly say for 13 bucks worst poutine ever, the fries were no good had about 6 little pieces of cheese curds n they gave me just to say a bit of gravy for it on the side in 2 little mini containers. Not impressed at all never planning on going there again, also I went one time before that and ordered wings to go and they were way over priced for like a handful of wings.

Apparently 6 months ago on a Wednesday evening I took the family out to dinner Everyone order the burger and fries special After an hour and a half wait only half our table of 6 had food As we are paying for the food the manager gave us 3 coupons for free pound of wings with fries for our next visit So Today I thought we would give them another chance We sat down ordered our drinks and presented the coupons to the server After a few minutes she returned to tell us that we could only use 1 coupon per visit That was not what the manager told us and it did not stat that on the coupons So on a Saturday evening at 7pm in a restaurant that has the capacity to sit approximately 100 people only had 8to10 people their says a lot So they lost our business and not just for today if we go back to st Louis it will be the Sudbury restaurant Good job hanmer soon another valley restaurant will go under PS ..... FOR GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE VISIT FIRE HOUSE BAR & GRILL thats where my business went today and from now on

Hi everyone... this is for the manager at St Louis bar & grill in Hanmer. We were their tonight and we had the worse experience. We came in and was seated in the front corner of the restaurant. We were handed a menu to myself and husband and told us our waitress would be with us in a few. Well people are coming in and they were served and we are still waiting Got up and ask the hostess when they were planning on serving us. We still waiting twenty minutes later we got up and left. Oh yes I did thank the hostess for not serving us. I cant believe it. This was not our first time at this restaurant. This never happened before. So maybe your staff should pay more attention to the customer then talking to each other by the bar. So my review not good and the start you got is because if I didnt give you any I couldnt post so enjoy your start because we wont return to your restaurant.
