Had the peameal and eggs and it was very good.

Waitress had dirty shirt and lice or dandruff in her hair and upper shirt...gross.. owner should make sure staff is clean and presentable.. disgusting place

Order breakfast with bacon and the bacon was so thin you could tell it was microwave bacon.. same crap they put on McDonalds burgers. I was disappointed

Had lunch there today, food was outstanding, but best of all our server Victoria was one of the best servers I have ever encountered, friendly, informative and with the nicest smile which is very refreshing to see. In all honesty, this was the WORST atmosphere.. I was constantly swatting fruit flies away while trying to eat. Nothing wrong with the food but the environment was super unwelcoming. The floors are rotted and not to mention I found a dead fruit fly in my juice. There are a lot of new breakfast/brunch places in Sudbury that are not dark and gloomy like this place.

Good food with a good vegan selection. People are always nice, a bit like seeing old friends again. Vegetarian options: Theres everything, from poutine to pancakes, all vegan. We can enjoy ourselves no matter what we want or what our diet is.

Was a great meal but when I asked if I could order from the kids menu I was denied. The waitress said that the restaurant is strict and actually check to see if there is a kid at the table. This is the first restaurant that has denied me from ordering from the kid s menu. I have a very small appetite and always order from the kids menu and still never finish what I have. You should allow it like other restaurants do. This may change my mind from coming back to here.

So I went to Gloria s this morning with a friend for breakfast. The initial atmosphere was warm and inviting I believe my server Marley was absolutely wonderful helpful kind and personable and accurately took our order. As the meal progressed she would come check on us and make sure we had everything we needed if we wanted more water or coffee. Super kinda but as she was at our table and other table talking to the customers she would get called to the back. She looked frantic and ran to see what was happening. I counted about 7 times she got called away while helping someone. I don t know who the older lady was I m guessing her boss was very short with her and pushy and would not let her do her job. She became visibly upset while taking a payment and she got almost yelled at to go to the back. I think the food was great the server was great but yelling at your staff while they are helping your customers is unacceptable. I hope Marley has a better day sorry to see that treatment.

Have had Gloria s a few times and have always enjoyed, but it had been awhile. Last weekend we ordered takeout and I was so impressed! We ordered off the regular and vegan menus due to different family member s lifestyles. The first thing I was impressed with was how much they have to offer vegans! I really appreciate how there were so many options. I feel like they are really trying to cater to everyone. Thank you! The vegan skillet and French toast was amazing! The portions were huge and they were very generous with the fresh fruit. The family member who ordered off the regular menu was satisfied as well. The staff were also great!

The only hold back for me, from giving the atmosphere a higher rating, is that it was very noisy. To be fair, it seemed that there were a lot of minor hockey team members in attendance. Obviously, Glorias reputation is stellar amongst this group. However, as a senior, the noise overwhelmed me. So please take that rating with a grain of salt, pack up your kids, families, and teams, and enjoy. I will try to visit off hours to make my dining more enjoyable for me.

I got the hot chicken sandwich, with a side of veggies and fries. Fries were okay, not very seasoned and the gravy was bland and lukewarm at best. Chicken was alright, mostly dry but thanks to the flavourless gravy, it was tolerable. Also got maybe a tablespoon of (obviously) frozen veggies that were still cold. it was my first time dining there, and I went because I was told it was great back in the day. That was not the case. Not to mention $3.50 for a can of pop? Come on. Was absolutely not worth the $50 that was spent there for 2 meals. Will not be returning.

Loved going here before, food has always been good. My last visit the waitress was amazing but clearly over worked, handling a lot on her own. She then came to give us our bill clearly upset and was crying. We asked if she was okay and she told us she got yelled at and was being sent home for arguing with the kitchen staff about cold food. My friend talked to the manager who was completely rude and out of line in the way she talked to a customer. I will not support a business who treats her staff and customers in this way.

It was my first time going to Gloria and we only went because our favorite breakfast joint was full. A coworker was briefly saying it was a horrible place for breakfast but everyone has different tastes, so I decided to try it. The staff was incredible, the food was alright and the portion was small. And this place charges extra for a lot of things, so your total adds up quickly.

Was good but expensive for what I ordered

Never going back! Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning with friends from out of town. We ordered and ate our breakfast all within 15 minutes and ordered extra coffee afterwards and literally were told to leave by the manager or the owner as someone wanted our booth. There was a lineup of four people at the door. So, I looked around and saw 2 empty tables in the center. We were not noisy or abstinent, we left quietly. Saying all this the food was ok but not out of this world. After all it was only breakfast!

This has been my favourite place to stop every time Im in town ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper (some decades now), even though theres been a change of ownership, the food, atmosphere, and experience is just as amazing as ever! Be warned, there can be a wait some days, but its totally worth it! Kid-friendliness: This place is definitely a family friendly establishment!

Food was amazing, waitress was very kind and helpful and patient. We had our 4 kids with us. The only complaint would be the lady who created us was a little pushy/ abrasive when we entered. We were there on vacation, its a small dinner style, not a super fancy place, never crossed our minds to make a breakfast reservation, however she made it known to us and every other group that had more then 4 people that they should make a reservation.

I needed a table for six and was made to wait until they showed up. We were not offered to sit at a small table to have a coffee or anything. The lady who greeted us at the door appeared crabby. I dont think I want to go back.

Disappointing customer experience

Usually I would rate Glorias very highly. In the past their food and service has been great. However this morning when we went staff was extremely rude. When my boyfriend ordered a milkshake and asked if he could have the leftover milkshake that doesnt fit in the glass on the side ( something theyve done in the past.) the server was obviously annoyed and said she would ask her boss. When they brought the milkshake out the boss came out as well and was extremely rude. She lectured him about how they dont give out the leftover milkshake and how what he did was not nice? She then proceeded to pour the additional milkshake into the glass making it over flow. This entire situation was blown way out of proportion. We ended up leaving after that terrible service.

Cozy restaurant with lovely waitresses and tasty food. They accommodated our group of nine last minute for breakfast and gave us prompt and friendly service. My kids loved the mickey pancakes and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Weve been there a few times now and its always a solid and consistent spot to go for breakfast. Plus, they make their own pies, small or large, which look absolutely amazing.

I remember going to Gloria s as a kid, the food and atmosphere was amazing, but unfortunately when I went recently it was not the same at all. The food has gone down hill and everything has changed. I heard there is new owners so don t waste your time if you re looking for quality meal and restaurant, because this is not it anymore.

Like many other reviews that I was attracted to this place during my work trip as it was reviewed well and was said to be a staple in the area. Quite honestly the food was so bad I couldnt finish my meal. I ordered things that i saw others reviewers had ordered and I was shocked at how bad it was. The breakfast poutine did not have any cheese curds opting for shredded mozzarella instead, the Hollandaise sauce on top tasted sour and was thin, and the potatoes were not seasoned. I took maybe two bites and couldnt finish the breakfast poutine. I also ordered the strawberry pancakes... There was this nasty strawberry sauce on them which I feel it could have done without as it made anything it touched not taste great. The pancakes were not fluffy, the whipped cream was artificial and it overall just tasted really bad. This one I was at least able to eat somewhat but overall I paid for two dishes that i didnt even eat basically. The service was good, nothing to write home about but definitely nothing wrong with it. I would personally not recommend this place unless you want to just get eggs and bacons maybe? But even then there are probably better places in the area. Very disappointed.

Breakfast poutine is one of my favorite dishes anywhere. I put some soft poached eggs on it and it was heavenly. Very nice staff and atmosphere.

the cutlery was not properly cleaned, we had to wipe down our forks and knives, the salad is just finely chopped up vegetables and tomatoes and you can barely get it on your fork, the classic poutine has way too much gravy and the cheese is shredded, the poutine tasted like bad cafeteria food, they are clearly under staffed, and they lack good customer service, the waitresses were very nice and polite, but the hostess wasn t attentive to customer s needs and the restaurant seemed to be very unorganized.

Generally like going here for breakfast. We went in for breakfast a couple weekends ago. The girlfriend finds a hair in her food halfway through her meal. So we tell the waitress who didnt seem too interested. The bus girl did apologize several times. The waitress came back and said they will only charge us for the half she ate. Not the best way to handle that

My hunnie and i went for breakfast. My canadian skillet was so bland that i felt like i was eating cardboard. There was barely anything in our plates.The waitress wasnt very freindly or helpfull whatsoever. And the order station was filthy. It was black were they put their hands when they order. Thats all i could see from where we were sitting. I will never go back.

Glorias was amazing it has a nice family feel to the restaurant. Very clean and staff were very friendly and polite . When we visit Sudbury we will definitely go back again for breakfast as the plates were hugh and tons of food as the potions were very big. Very satisfied

We called ahead to see if they could accommodate a large group of 14 people, and they did it no problem. The food was tasty and generous. The coffee was made from fresh ground beans and tasted delicious.

Glorias place was mediocre. I had an eggs benedict. It had almost no flavour, not even of eggs. Bland. Husband had the Canadian Skillet. If it had cheese on it, it was a sprinkling. Eggs were also bland. Potatoes had no spices or anything on them and just barely fried. All around bland food. The server came once after we were done eating to ask how it was and if I wanted more coffee. I had finished my coffee about the second bite of the meal.

You can always be assured of a great old fashioned breakfast here... great service for many years.

It s been at least 10 years since I have had any food at Gloria s Restaurant and today was my goal to take a trip to Sudbury and go back to Gloria s Restaurant for a good Breakfast, what I did not like they changed me $3.25 per coffee which is was supposed to be bottomless coffee,I left their with one cup of coffee she said she was busy like seriously I am a customer,my husband orders a toasted western sandwich and he asked to put cheese on it and then finds out for one slice of Cheese $2.99 wow wow,definitely not what I expected It will Be another 10 years Before I Ever Walk back in their again Definitely Not Good Service

I was back visiting Sudbury for the weekend and my family and I stopped in for lunch. Ive not been in years. Used to go quite often while growing up in Sudbury. I had the club sandwich with fries and it was good as always! Great service. Our server checked up on us several times.

We were 18 hungry, some hung over breakfast diners from a wedding reception, and food was delicious, well.portioned and a great Server.

Great place for breakfast. They went above and beyond. I asked for a B.E.L.T wrap with home fries. It wasnt on the menu but they still chefed it up for me. Definitely recommend.

What a horrible experience I had at Gloria s. An older lady was waiting at the front to seat us. She was very rude and impatient leading us to leave before even having the chance to sit down. She was incredibly disrespectful and snarky. I understand it was busy, but there is a way to treat your customers. Will not be coming here again.

Joey our server was very kind and even noticed when part of my meal was forgotten, even before I mentionned anything. Good prices and food was very good. I often get the Egg, Toast and Fruits. Fruits are always fresh- Pineapple, Cantaloupe, Blue Berry, Strawberry and Apple slices. The eggs are always perfect, never too wet or dry.

Gloria is a restaurant from 1952, today it is turning 70 years old in Sudbury. It began with Greek origin and today is totally Canadian. I want to thank Helen for her great attention and patience, my daughter Sofía was happy with her attention. And I want to congratulate Andrea who makes delights from the kitchen! Thanks for so much delicious food in Sudbury!!

Visited Glorias Restaurant for breakfast with my family and can say I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant was completely full, however our wait was only 5 minutes. All the staff seemed to be extremely friendly and attentive to customers. Great experience and will definitely be returning on my next breakfast outing.

Popular place for brunch on a Sunday. There was a line up but didnt have to wait too long. The food was good and the chocolate cream pie we bought to bring home was yummy too.

Apple Cinnamon Chicken and Waffles. Good portion, just right. Were not regulars and it showed. Mimosas for everyone. Dont drink and drive. We were passing through. Enjoyed it. Parking: Its in a plaza with its of parking, entrance may be hard to see the first time, but not a problem at all. Kid-friendliness: He was treated well.

I chose their 2 piece fish and chips. Usually restaurants cheao out and give 2 small pieces of fish, but not Glorias, 2 full filets, fresh cut fries, it was awesome. Definitely going back next time in Sudbury.

I ve ordered take out breakfast there twice before. Not very impressed by that place, I don t see what the hype is about. It s over priced, the food was bland, and the service both times I went in to order was kind of uninviting and pretentious, almost like they were bothered that I was there.

They have some fantastic home fries. These guys should be selling their home fries method. I would return just for home fries, crunchy outside and flaky (?) inside. Like little deep fried mashed potato cubes.

The food is good, however, the price for LUNCH was ridiculous! (went Sept.7/22) Two people, 2 toasted western sandwiches with fries and gravy, 2 coffee. Price? $50.00!!!! We will never go back and I will never recommend this place.

My friend and I went there for a nice breakfast. I ordered the steak and eggs and she had the special. My steak was literally reheated on a grill with no seasoning. I sent it back and they replaced it with bacon. Both my friends and my bacon reminded us of the reheatable bacon from Costco. They also brought mine out to replace the steak within seconds so it had obviously been sitting. My friends pancake was reheated and couldnt even pull apart with a knife. No one asked if we had enjoyed our meal and we had to remind them to take the steak off of our bill. We have been on many occasions and feel the quality is going downhill.

The atmosphere is that of most dinners and with that out of the way. The staff is very friendly and kind, despite how busy they are, staff still checks on you frequently. The food is consistently very good and very reasonably priced. It is one of my favorite places to go for an early coffee and a simple breakfast. Definitely check out the soup of the day!
