Good food, good service and good ambiance.

Just spent some time at this gem of a restaurant, and it has literally blown away all expectations! The food, service, and ambiance was top-notch! The Indian food was, indeed, what stood out. it was nothing like I had ever had before, not even at other Indian restaurants. The taste was authentic, unique, and off the wall. The Canadian fare was just as good, a testament to the chef s incredible skill and creativity. Big round of applause to our veteran behind-the-scenes team delivering such a delightful culinary experience. If youre looking for a place that guarantees satisfaction, don t think twice visit this spot, and you won t regret it!

Thinking of coming here? I would pick somewhere else. Baked beans are unseasoned canned black beans with sauce on top. Mac and cheese was barely warm cheese not melted at all. Plus they forgot one whole entree. Their Indian food smelled good but I would avoid the BBQ at all cost.

If it wasnt for a single incident, Id be giving this place a 4/5. If you check my profile, I almost never give 1 star reviews (if ever?). We got a regular poutine and one of the speciality ones with brisket on it. My wife loved her poutine, mine was good. I got a bowl of hot & sour soup as well, it was nice. I dont know what size it was, but if it was the large one for $10 then it was over priced. Either way, I wouldnt order it again. Unfortunately, I overheard something that really disappointed me. Im not going to repeat it, but I can say with certainty the owner lacks ethics and morals. We will never support this restaurant again.

The menu on google wasn t even the proper restaurant. The fries were good but the rest of our meal wasn t exciting. We were a party of 3 and the third person only got their food once the others were almost done eating. Awkward! We were given excuses that a phone in order slowed our service down. Horrible experience. The food use to AMAZING here. I guess it s new ownership now. Waitress seemed very confused and not familiar with menu. Everything my partner ordered was not in stock. Waitress stated there was only ONE bun in stock. So me and my partner had to decide on who got a burger. No tacos either, it was lunch time on a Saturday?? When we were there, I wont talk about experience or taste rather I would say the way they, themselves present as unit was outstanding I have been to well graded restaurant and the experience I was offered over there and here was same and what I noticed they most that they see you and one and every while when they serve any plate they want to know idlf its too spicy or sweet for customer. Can barely call this a smokehouse anymore It s a completely different restaurant. I used to love this place and went all the time but it went downhill with the new owners. Music was so loud I got a headache while waiting for my food, I ordered Pulled Pork and got (what looks and tastes like) boiled pork with hardly any flavour served with ketchup. If you don t know how to make southern do your own thing but this was a really disappointing experience.

Excellent! The overwhelming aroma of stale urine is one to remember! Pulled pork had a stunning resemblance to the wet cat food the family cat had for lunch yesterday. Burgers straight from the freezer with an excellent cardboard taste. Dipping sauce fresh out of the Elmer s glue bottle! A unique experience with food being brought out over a 45 minute span - one guest ready to pay after eating while another eagerly awaited their lunch. Highly recommended menu items with 5-star reviews online nowhere to be seen on the menu. If this restaurant is indeed one of the best in Greater Sudbury, I cannot wait to see what else the culinary scene has to offer!

Unfortunately very awful. Very strong scent of urine, smears and streaks on tables, when we moved to another table it was very sticky. The dipping sauce for my wings was like rubber, and I couldn t even get it onto the wing at first. The only good food I thought was ok was the French fries, I would not at all recommend this place to eat at if you want to enjoy your food.

Had the boss hoss burger with fries, the fries were quite tolerable, however the burger appeared to be from a frozen wholesale box, one piece of bacon on the burger and what appeared to be prepackaged pulled pork on top. The food left a lot to be desired and having to eat with distinct bathroom odor throughout the restaurant made it far worse. Should ve gone to McDonald s.

Worst barbecue I ve ever been served in my 25 years of life (Orderd thru Uber eats came ahead of time) Order was the sample it all (1 person) Brisket,Ribs,Sausage,Chicken Skewer, Wings, Pulled pork, Sides chosen: Fries/Mac & Cheese 1. Brisket: No Smokey flavour was severely lacking any real flavour at all was doused in this hevily ketchup induced barbecue sauce very very fatty and not in a good way just mounds of chewy fat 1.7 out of 10 I took one bite and threw it away never order this ever 2. Ribs: chewiest ribs I ve ever had in my life felt like they were left in a oven for over 2 hours on the highest setting once again drowned in ketchup barbecue sauce little chunks of bone all thru out the rib Montanas all you can eat 2nd batch is immensely better quality then whatever this was and that s saying something 2.0 out of 10 once again took one bite and threw the rest away 3. Pulled pork: soaked in that ketchup sauce had little to no flavour I almost couldn t believe it was being passed off as pulled pork so much water in my little container that the pork came in I coulda used it as a drink that being if it wasn t utterly disgusting I took my first bite of the meal from this and hoped it couldn t get worse from here well to put it honestly it didn t I had to try it again to make sure it truly tasted like that yep it did the mouth feel of chewing on a wet rag that had been left in ur sink after you cooked a pork meal a week ago I went in for a second bite to confirm it was this bad and yep it was 0.9 out of 10 4. Sausage: this in my opinion had to be the best meat on the whole platter it had a somewhat decent flavour with the slightest amount of crisp and texture on the outside and a decently soft interior I still would never order again as it was covered completely in whatever that ketchup sauce is although not being disgusting and inedible like the first three things I had tried I would still never order again and I believe the reason I didn t mind it was because of the first three things I tried this was in comparison much better but still lacking a severe amount of seasoning & Smokey flavour 5.3 Out of 10 if they left out the sauce it s a 6.0 5. Chicken Skewer: not bad not good the chicken was kinda chewy but with a hint of I m trying wasn t as bad as the first 3 items but not quite on the level of the sausage the sauce they had on it tasted like some kind of mustard which I m not gonna lie I didn t mind as it helped with the dryness of the chicken I did finish the skewer tho 5.0 out of 10 6. Chicken Wings: over cooked and not crispy not much you can really get out of these wings besides the fact they are an underwhelming side dish to an already very mediocre meal the sauce they put it on surprisingly wasn t bad it was the Nashville HOT I genuinely really enjoy a good Nashville hot but this wasn t it although edible unlike the other ketchup sauce they use to drown the terrible flavours of everything else at this restaurant it was below par Nashville sauce Wings themselves 5.0 out of 10 The sauce is like a 5.9 out of 10 7&8. Mac And cheese and fries: Running out of characters well the Mac and Cheese well saving you the time was horrific don t order it the looked like something I would make in college with leftovers after a night at the bar 3.8 out of 10 fries were so overcooked they were inedible well I ate the fries it was more of pity meal I ate thinking about the 50$ I just wasted on some of the worst food I ve ever tried 3.0 out of 10 only ate because well it s a fry it s pretty hard to make that inedible but they definitely tried In the end I would never recommend this meal to a friend or foe Possibly the biggest waste of 50$ as I only Finished the fries, chicken wings, chicken, skewer, and sausage Overal rating is a 3 out of 10 Had to add this in I m far from a pickey eater and never throw away food this I put in the garabge I genuinely can t remember the last time I ve ordered food from Uber Eats or even cooked it myself and threw it out so take that as you will

I am very disappointed with my recent week experiences at JD Fusion Smokehouse. The quality of food has significantly declined. Firstly, I ordered the kids mac and cheese, and it was extremely cold, as if it had been taken directly from the cold storage. This is unacceptable for any restaurant. My kids became sad because of this food. On a previous visit, I tried the naan, and it was frozen and not freshly made. This cut in quality is very disappointing and not what I expect when dining out. Its clear that the new owners are trying to cut costs at the expense of food quality. I will not be returning here again. And I will not recommend this to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE. Food quality was sub-standard. We ordered the smokehouse sampler, but couldn t really detect any smoked flavour or even a smoke ring on any of the meat. Everything was cold that didn t come from the deep fryer. Coleslaw was definitely past its time. Burger orders were incorrect and overdone. One was inedible. Server menu knowledge was terrible. Charged for a $30 bottle of wine instead of a glass. We wanted to support a local business instead of a chain, but regretted our decision.

I came here for fine in with my friends. The service was fabulous, talking about the food quality and quantity it was amazing. I want to say that the chef is very friendly and the food tastes like authentic Indian food, particularly about the naan, the texture and softness was just as Indian dhaba style. The ambience was very lively and pleasant.

One of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in Sudbury. If you are looking for any Indian spicy food, masaledar and street style. I was very desperate to eat desi street food but couldn t get anything here but they have the proper spicy and desi taste.

This was a very disappointing dining experience for my partner and I. We decided to come here after seeing the many reviews but we were quickly disappointed once the food came. We ordered the butter chicken and chicken dum biriyani, and both items tasted absolutely horrible. I feel rude saying this but how is it hard to screw up the classic butter chicken, it tasted nothing like how it is supposed to taste like. The chicken tasted like it was cooked days ago, the rice in the biriyani was very hard and nothing had any flavour except for the level of spice. Very disappointed and I hope they are able to use this feedback to change things up.

Disappointed with new ownership.

I ate here recently with my husband and toddler on a Tuesday evening. It was very quiet. The server was friendly and the service was quick. The food was good, I enjoyed my poutine with brisket and smoked beans, and it was a huge portion. My husband had a build your own meal with brisket, Mac and cheese and smoked beans, which he enjoyed. My toddler liked the poutine and beans as well. If you dont like any spice, this wouldnt be the place for you, as everything has a bit of a spice, except the beans. I really liked it though and would go back if I lived in the area!

The quality of the food has severely dropped since the new ownership has taken over. Burgers appear to be box meat. None of the pulled pork or brisket was tender at all. Really disappointed because the food used to be great here. Obviously the new owners are trying to be cheap because when we went for lunch they told us they couldnt serve beer on tap because the keg fridge is shut off nightly and it takes a few hours to start up.

We were a group of 4. Service was nice, the food was very mediocre. Naan bread from costco. The beers were sour. Happens when lines are not cleaned. When the issue was brought to the servers attention. We were told the beer is like that . Would not recommend.

I would not recommend. Service never came to fill the water, had to flag the waitress if we wanted anything(including our main order). Burger was burnt, fries had more salt than McDonalds, pulled pork tasted like it was doused in ketchup, kettle chips were bland and flavorless (but great crunch, why served with sour cream though? ). The quesadilla was really good. We were a table of two and there was only one other table of 6 in the restaurant for most of our visit and the table of 6 had to constantly keep walking to the bar to order anything. Both our orders were supposed to come with a pickle, they didnt. The food gave me stomach cramps and acid reflux (not something Ive ever had in the past). You can tell that they use the same deep fried for everything deep fried as my kettle chips had a mild onion ring taste. Wont be going back.

We ordered 2x the taste it all dinners through skip the dishes. The portions were tiny and the food was cheap. It does not look or taste homemade but instead just assembled including the coleslaw and beans which were black beans that tasted warmed up from a can with some BBQ sauce. Would not recommend if you want value for the price or enjoy authentic BBQ. Feeling ripped off and grossed out.

By far one of the absolute best restaurants Ive been to in a long time. Wow. The Indian food is spectacular (Im full to the point of exploding but literally am craving more) the wings are crunchy and fully sauced, the chicken strips are perfectly spiced and even the fries are beautifully seasoned. The server was fantastic, such a good dude. Not a single complaint. I will come back again. And again. And again, everytime Im in the area this will be my go to. So good!!!

First time here with my wife. We had the BBQ platter (sample it all on the menu). Not sure about the other food, but do not go there for the BBQ, it was not good. My wife couldnt even eat her meal. Most of the food was cold like it came out of the fridge, lightly warmed up and drenched in BBQ sauce, brisket was dry, ribs & wings had no meat and dry. The pulled pork was like a wet sponge. The waitress came over and I showed her the pulled pork, I squeezed it and a half cup of water came pouring out. I was hoping for a delicious BBQ experience, but did not get that. They were nice enough to give us a 10% discount on our meal, but it wasnt enough, most of it was thrown out or forced down. Wont be going back

First visit April 2023 - Amazing barbeque, Great smokehouse grub! Portions are generous. Prices are reasonable and a healthy selection of whiskeys! Only room for improvement in wait times, as the solo waitress would benefit from some help. Attended for a second time, a year later, April 2024. Definitely a different experience. I had the brisket again, which wasnt the same. Tasted more like a pork tenderloin that was cooked in a crock pot with barbecue sauce vs smoked for 24 hours as advertised on the menu. I suspect the new Indian food menu may have been a better choice going forward.

Terrible food, brisket was dry, ribs were burnt, chicken wings dry as well with very low sauce flavour, sausages were low quality on flavour and texture. Very disappointing.

Indian food was slightly salty but otherwise delicious, fresh paneer, excellent spice levels- does not come with rice but the cost accounts for that as it was super cheap and very good

Food was delicious. We showed up a little bit early and they let us in early. Great service! Only thing that I would change is the mix of music/TV that is on at the same time. Couldnt hear just one song, it was multiple at once. I would recommend it! Dietary restrictions: Waiter went back and forth to the kitchen to make sure there was no dairy.

Excellent! Very tasty, delicious My only issue is that I was dining with 2 others. One knew right away what he wanted and she and I couldnt decide at that point. The server went and put his order in right away, so he got his food as we were about to order. I dont think that is proper etiquette. He was done his meal before we even got ours!! I dont think they should have prepared the one item until all 3 of us had placed our orders. I found that to be amateurish. Ive never been to a restaurant that has made a bad judgment call like that. Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetarian options, almost too many. Parking: Lots of spot to park very close

JD Fusion Smokehouse is great. Love the food and the atmosphere. The service is very friendly and youll love the menu options. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
