Ok, so I havent eaten here in 20 years, and I had the chimichanga, which was just as I remembered damn delicious. However, my wife and son ordered tacos. My wife doesnt eat cheese and asks no cheese, when it was served to her and my son we all noticed that it was those Doritos nacho cheese Tacos from the grocery store plus they were super stale and unedible. My son ate his because he eats almost everything. Next was that the protein was pretty much non-existent, loaded with lettuce some tomatoes and probably about 1oz of chicken per taco. We were super let down by quality and quantity of those Tacos. I was hyping this place up all week to my fam because theyve been there so long but all I ever had was the chimichanga so thats all I could go off of. You would think that if theyre using low grade Tacos that the meat portion would compensate for that but not the case. Dont think Ill go there for Tacos. I gave the 2 stars for the chimichanga.

I have lived in Sudbury almost 6 years and I have just finally tried La Cass Mexicana. I didn t realize the restaurant was closed but they still allowed me to order takeout. They food was soooooooooo incredibly delicious! Best guacamole I have ever had! They are my new favourite!

I was at this little gem of a restaurant in December. The staff were very friendly. There was live music. The guacamole was so very fresh and tasty. The best guacamole Ive ever had. Yum, yum. Everyone in our party was very happy with their food. We had a good time listening to the music.

Driven passed it many times and wife mentioned about wanting tacos/Mexican food. It was a misunderstanding that I drove here instead of a closer destination, but was a great misunderstanding. Food was absolutely delicious, definitely plan on returning, just with more people next time. Looking forward to bringing friends and family to this little hole in the wall. Supported a local cause at the restaurant last night... $40 - taco bar buffet. The place was disorganized. I got three small ~4in soft tacos and no drink. Food was okay. Restaurant owner has not been honest with the local cause returning less profit than agreed to. Hard to support this kind of local. I will not be back

We had La Casa cater our Formal event at the McEwen School of Architecture and they were phenomenal. We had agreed on appetizers for the night and they provided enough for 100 people the entire night and moreso. They went above and beyond for the hors doeuvres in presentation, quantity and quality, bringing extra snacks that we werent expecting. Their service is excellent and a family run business. We would absolutely recommend them and we will have them again! Vegetarian options: Even going to the extent of dairy-free cheese, they are very accommodating Dietary restrictions: Variety

Im going to write one review and copy and paste it for both places. We went to Rosys Corner on a Friday and La Casa Mexicana on the Saturday, and honestly we couldnt decide which we liked better. Both were fantastic. We got a variety of items from each place, all were fantastic. Unfortunately I dont live in Sudbury, I was only passing through, so I cant go back for repeat trips and more in depth reviews. Bottom line is both are excellent. The food is wonderful, all lf the staff were super welcoming and friendly. Go to either one, its a flip of the coin, but make sure you go to the other after as well.

Staff were extremely rude! I had ordered through an app and it wasnt ready and acted as if I didnt order it because they couldnt find the record of it and treated me poorly as if it was my fault. When they finally figured it out and brought me my take out order they just handed it to me with no apology or have a nice night or anything. I asked if they had a bag to put the container in (it was downpouring rain) and I had seen they gave other customers a bag for their food for take out and the server who gave it to me just looked at me and abruptly said no! And then proceeded to deal with a new customer who had just walked in. I usually look for authentic Mexican restaurants as my go to for evenings out and for business and I wouldnt recommend this one to anyone. The food I got from my one and only visit was okay nothing spectacular or worthy of recommending for authentic Mexican cuisine.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. The staff were so welcoming and kind. We couldn t have had a better night. Thanks you so much for a memorable birthday for our son. We will be back and highly recommend.

This restaurant has gone so far down hill. Havent had it in years and ordered this evening and never been so disappointed. Food was cold, tacos are something I can make at home with cheap shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream and store bought taco mix. Tortillas were falling into pieces just by touching them. Totally disappointed, not worth what I spent...

I had their beef burrito for the first time in a long time. The food was great and the staff was excellent too. Cant wait till patio season in the summer

Absolutely amazing food! Everything is fresh and obviously made with great care. We had a large take out order with a variety of choices-tacos, chimichangas, burritos, salads. I couldnt pick a favourite, it was all so good! The owner was so helpful and went over and beyond what we ordered. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

My food came cold and Im pretty sure they used craft cheese on my nachos everything tasted like plastic. All For a 100 bucks! homeless people eat better out of the trash. Plus if you order out they make you pay for plastic utensils

Ordered two sets of the two crunchy tacos . For one I only got the one order of tacos , and what I did have was very cold considering it was delivered within a half hour.

La Casa Mexicana not only has great food, their service is the most wholesome thing Ive experienced in awhile. They care about going above and beyond your expectations. We ordered from here for dinner and when we went in to grab the order one of the staff said that she made an extra churro and put it in the order for a treat. If this isnt what were all looking for I dont know what is. Grab some takeout from here next time you get a chance, you wont be disappointed.

Not what I was expecting, but some of the best tacos I ve had in my life. And they re huge, definitely worth the money! Ingredients are fresh, the serving size is perfect, and you can tell the whole family works very hard to make it their best - especially on a busy day like today!

And there were people asking for money and hanging out smoking outside the patio (not patrons or employees of the restaurant.) However, we will certainly eat there again. Delicious!

Authentic homestyle in a cozy setting. Meal started with a surprise complementary soup, the soup was absolutely refreshing and complex flavor. Everything was delicious and fresh ingredients. Had tacos and loved them. The guacamole was delicious. I also loved the fried appetizers. I recommend it, especially since it is always open.

We ordered two orders of the number one combo so that a hungry family of 5 could sample a bit of everything. We got it as take out. It was all delicious: the tacos, chimichangas, and burritos were all great. The guacamole had a nice fresh punch of cilantro in it. Highly recommend.

Best Mexican food and its authentic

Lovely little restaurant! The gentleman who served us was extremely friendly and helpful for a couple of out-of-towners. Delicious homemade hot sauces and very authentic food. Definitely a good spot to hit up if you are downtown Sudbury!

We went on Christmas Eve, party of 4. There was one woman working (the owner). The food was very good - authentic Mexican. My daughter is super picky and (of course) didnt like her burrito. The owner noticed this, and offered to give her mini tacos instead at no additional charge! Then, on our way out the door, she gave my kids two imported Mexican pineapple sodas! Decor was nice, food was good, service was over-the-top, absolutely OUTSTANDING. Well definitely be back.

We ordered some take out tonight and it wasnt any good. Our nachos were microwaved so much that it melted the to go container. Not impressed considering this was our first time trying it. Definitely wont be trying it again.

It was tough to find a spot to eat in Sudbury on New Years Day, so we were glad to come by this place. We were in the mood for eggs, so the owner whipped up some huevos rancheros for us even though they werent on the menu. The food tasted wonderful and the owner was extremely friendly and genuine. Really glad we found this place.

This is a really authentic little spot. I had the enchilada on special and it was amazing!!! I also loved the soup that it came with and the special also came with churros for dessert! Service was also really quick even though it was busy. Great experience, would definitely go again.

This is a great Honduran food muchachos. I had the pork belly with dandelion stew and it was mucho scrumptioso brotendo! Sudbury is a great town filled with obese mongoloids and transient filth.

Very disappointed. We havent had this place in years but used to love it. Tonight we ordered the Mole Poblanos and the Chiles Relleno via Skip the Dishes and it was bordering on awful. The chicken in the Mole Poblanos was VERY chewy and tough, like it was freezer burned. The tortillas that came with it tasted awful and were undercooked. The peppers for the Chiles Relleno were old, tough, and had no flavour. The only good things about our order were the rice, which wasnt awful but was very nearly over cooked, the guacamole, and the salad dressing. The salad itself was tiny and was half made up of nearly rotted, soft and slimy peppers. Very expensive for the small portion and the bad quality. Likely wont be eating there again...
