Absolutely delicious

It was our first time going to the restaurant. I liked the food and the ambience but the service was really bad. It felt like the servers were always on hurry and judging the orders we made. At last when I gave no tips, the server came up to me and asked me why is there no tip included which was embarrassing tbh. Never going to the place, might order the food from uber though.

The online way (uber, doordash) to order was extremely vague and that caused us to underestimate our order. We wanted 3 large house dumplings but ended up getting 3 small ones for almost the same price. The food itself was semi decent. Ill not eat from here.

Dinner was served sporadically , the3 appetizers we ordered for starters were delivered throughout the meal and at the end of the meal . We also had an uninvited guest (cockroach) run across the table half way through our dinner.

All the food tasted burnt. Disgusting! The real bottom of the cauldron! Very very disappointing. Never again!

Great portions and good food. My favourites are the Beef on Hot Pan, General Tao chicken (a less sweet option for those that enjoy Sesame chicken), and the mixed fried rice. The dry fried noodles are great too.

Atmosphere and food is good, the reason for the 1 start is their spicy food... Theyr use some sort of chilli that tastes like what I can only describe is a mix between Christmas trees and battery acid. Its such a tangy gross taste it ruins the meal and makes you nauseous. Do not order spicy food from here unless you like the taste of battery acid and Christmas trees

Many people might think of all you can eat here but there is no all you can eat though any of the item you order have a large quantity and quality at its bestin town.

Our new Chinese food place

This place was AMAZING! We dined as a party of 3. The atmosphere was amazing! Felt like I was in a Michelin Star Restaurant. Our server was so nice and she always smiled! Her name is Shally and it was only her first day here working at this 7 Star Dumpling! When we get our food, theres a robot that brings us the food and says thank you when were done with it! The food was so good! We had the Dinner for 3 which included: Chicken Fried Rice, Cheese Wontons, 3 Eggrolls, and mixed veggies! We got an extra of the Beef Fried Dunplings. It was like a Soup Dumplings and it had so much flavor! We love this place and we hope to visit again sometime again! I would really reccomend this place!

I got pork dumplings and the pork noodle soup. Overall, great service and great food! Would come back again!

visited during my business trip yo sudbury and by far the worst dinner of my week long trip. I had a bad feeling right from the start when my beer came in a bottle without a glass and upon asking for a glass receiving a red plastic cup. i was starving so I did decide to stay. i got the hot and sour soup which was boiling and sour soup, not spicy at all but it was boiling and my tongue hurt for days after due to my first sip. Id rather have them keep me waiting more than the 5 min it took to get it out and bring it when it is ready to eat, little to say the pain was truly terrible. Then the chow mein came and that was the most bland garbage I have had at any Chinese restaurant. The two stars is because I will say that hargow was pretty good, and honestly would be higher review if I was able to enjoy it but due to my severely burned tongue I could barely taste.

It was so good! Very good service. A large menu. If you are Lucky, you Will be serve by the gentel little robot.

Frequent and happy Regent st customer but just ordered from lasalle local and I have raw fried rice and the chicken balls are so hard my mom cant bite into them.. why would you serve that to someone

Ordered dinner for my family to be delivered between 530pm and 545pm. By 550pm the food was not here. I called and d they said it was on the way. It arrived 20 mins later, lukewarm. The chicken balls are not edible. They are over fried and hard as a rock. My kids, already cranky from waiting so long, were not happy. The rice is ok. Has no taste. General tao chicken was good, but soggy and barely warm. Overall, very disappointing and will not be going here again. The regent st. Location is much better.

We had plans to celebrate our friends birthday at 7 Star Dumplings (28th Jan 7:40 pm)and she requested a table of her choice (the one with spinning glass table) to sit. The staff that attended us was very racist. The staff (a short heighted girl with long blonde hair) that attended us denied the request to be seated at the table of our choice. She had 0 interest in serving us and was extremely rude. She claimed she is the manager when asked for the manager. We would not like to dine at a space where there is no respect given to customers. We have never experienced this sort of service at any Dining space. It was extremely disappointing.

My favorite place to order Chinese food when I dont feel like cooking. The dinner for 4 serves WAY more food than 4 people could eat. Great value. Great food! Kid-friendliness: A great place for the kids. They will love the robot delivery vehicle.

My husband, myself, and our son have been coming here for just over a year. We found the place when we first moved. It is by far the best Asian food I have ever had. Everything is authentic and fresh, the staff are very polite and prompt, the food is delivered hot and fast. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and have no complaints. If you like a little spice I recommend the beef or chicken grittle they serve it with a fire burning underneath the bowl, it has a very smoky and nice flavor. The deep fried wonton are amazing and so are the dumplings. This is the only place we go out to eat because it is so good! The prices are decent too especially compared to places like the keg or lot 88. I can not say enough great things about 7 star. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!!

Placed a online order after picking it up checked to see we were missing half the order and then waited for almost a hour waiting to get one thing at a time kept showing them what we were missing and still was missing stuff made for a very bad first time

Both the man behind the counter and the waitress threw our plates at us. I will never return to this location and that s a shame as the food was fantastic.

You have not tried Chinese food until you ve been here. I got delivery and it took a little longer than expected but it was a thousand percent worth the wait. The delivery driver was super kind. I ordered the BBQ buns and sweet and sour pork. The buns are on another level. Perfect mild sweetness and the texture is just sticky enough. I ve never heard of adding pineapple chunks to sweet and sour pork but the flavours work perfectly together. Weird but awesome combination. 5/5 great food!

The young man that served us both times is very knowledgeable, a great sense of humour and always ready to please and give recommendations that wont disappoint. Makes the whole experience worth it! Highly recommend!

The decoration in the store is quite artistic, the receptionist is super enthusiastic, and the food tastes pretty good. Friends who come to Sudbury can give it a try.

It was okay solid 4, Not like Chopstixs at all if I m going to compare to other Chinese restaurants in the area. The chicken balls taste real, fried rice doesn t have as much soya sauce. The photos of milkshakes in the photos aren t actually order-able, I attached photos of the chicken balls, vegetable, fried rice, and house chicken dumpling( only one because my family claimed the rest to their own plates). The only the thing that makes this not look like a Chinese restaurant is the random meter in diameter over saturated picture of some California palms. Why it s there none of my business. Staff is kind/ helpful/slaying, robot is weird and goofy. Prices are average. Seating fits large family s or meetings. (I blocked out the faces of people I didn t know) total was only $64 and fed a family of 4. overall 7.6/10! Try it, support local.

I just ordered some food in the last minute here and the person who attended the call was so much ready to help me even though it was only minutes left for them closing, and when i got there, the reception was so welcoming and pleasant, he even helped by offering some free plates and utensils, very nice person, not sure he was the owner. All other staffs were also were too good and many smiling faces , I will definitely come here again and highly recommend this place .

Ive never had a bad experience at either location. Ive never even had just an ok experience. Today though, this was by far the best service Ive ever had, and not many other places top the quality of todays server. Food was A+ as usual. If youve been, you know its all bang on good quality cooking. Today was different because of Ryan. The young server. From the jump he was polite, formal, Informative, well spoken, prompt. This kid was everything, so many are not in the next generation of young workers. He had every drink and alcoholic beverage committed to memory, recommendations on foods, ingredients for certain condiments. He was on the ball, and above and beyond. I hope the owners know they have a great worker on their hands and Im glad to I got to experience this level of professionalism in the youth. I hope for more to be like Ryan. Thank you for the A+++ service.

This restaurant has one the best dumpling I have tried in Canada so far, and we stay nearby Markham Toronto which offers oriental cuisine at multiple place I would highly recommend this restaurant, the service and ambiance both are amazing.

OMG...The best place in Sudbury to dine. We have always loved this place on Lasalle, the service, the atmosphere, the food & our waiter Ryan is the best ever. He always gives us 150%. Brought our friends there tonight as it was her birthday & they were delighted. Ryan, thanks for making our night a special one.

Stopped for lunch and had the amazing pork and chive dumplings. Yummmm. Also must try the chive pancakes and stir-fried cabbage. Their sauce is wonderful.

We went for dinner six of us. Food was great. Nice atmosphere. Server were very courteous and helpful. Prices were reasonable. Even a robot to serve your food. Great experience. Did recommend it to all my family and friends. Parking: No problem parking. Lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: Our server was very helpful and recommended different options in food and drinks. Very nice personality. Both staff were very nice. We felt very at ease and satisfied. Will go again.

Honestly best restaurant experience since moving to Sudbury. Our server was incredible !

i really enjoyed dining in, the food was flavourful and i gave my compliments to the chef. i just felt extremely uncomfortable when our waitress,Kim, was very rude and visibly angry with the other staff, she put our food down in a rush, didn t check in to see how everything was tasting. she told us she was going to be the new manager and maybe i caught her on a rough day but i don t believe she s professional enough to be in charge.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have a negative experience at this location. Food is always great, but when I picked up my order this week, I was missing 3 dishes and a couple egg rolls (over 40$ worth of food). I went back inside to get my missing dishes and waited an extra half hour to get it. After that, they came out with two of my 3 missing dishes. I asked how long to wait for the third and they were shocked and embarrassed. I politely asked for a refund on the one dish because I didnt have time to wait at this point. The woman said yes of course she would refund me, but said she was busy and it would show up on my credit card since I had ordered online. Were now 3 days later and still no refund on the dish. Its too bad because the food is always great here, staff were polite and clearly busy but when you make a mistake, you make sure you dont make it twice

Fresh and fast! Also HUGE portions!! I also switched out a pork dish for a chicken one on their ready planned meal.. without any problems very polite and quiet spot. There was 2 of us and the cost was in high 40s. We both agreed it was very reasonable for what we had. Only Chinese place Ill be going back to in the city and hopefully soon Parking: Easy to find, free parking. Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: As long as they arent screaming their heads off and running around like a playground... you should be more then good to go Wheelchair accessibility: Dont recall any large step, but there is a curb. This is a sum of many experiences. If I was reviewing this restaurant a couple years ago, I would be giving it a 5/5. I remember this restaurant having a 4.9/5 average a couple years ago. We will not be visiting here again. Mistakes happen, but three is my limit. Especially when management doesnt seem to want to take ownership of their mistakes. Our last couple orders have not been good. One order, we had to go back the next day to collect our missing items. The other, half the food was bland, nothing like it had been in the past. There was something odd about the dumplings, I didnt enjoy them this time. We were also missing condiments, like soy and plum sauce (and dipping sauce for the dumplings). We had one other very bad experience nearly a year ago. I called the restaurant ahead of time to ask if they would accommodate a special request. They confirmed it would not be a problem at all (we even stopped in to speak to them, they confirmed again it would not be an issue). When we arrived for dinner, they refused to accommodate the request. I reminded them that I had called ahead and stopped in, but they still would not accommodate. We told them we would pay for our drinks and leave. Then they changed their minds. We left anyhow, the experience had ruined the mood. The least they could have done was cover our drinks. When I picked up my last order, there was an angry person there waiting for their order because it had been given away to someone else. After receiving their order they asked if there would be compensation for the long wait and error. The staff said no (as per the manager). The customer should have gotten something. Mistakes happen, but the customer should be compensated for their time and poor experience (it was a large, 2 bag order). ALL of the serving staff has been extremely polite and helpful. The 2/5 for service is due to the poor decisions of the manager/owner. The problems I see stem from poor management. They need an experienced restaurant manager, one who will spend their time out of the kitchen and make better decisions.

Preordered and paid hours in advance only to show up on-time and our order was given to someone else. Okay..so you re remaking it? Absolutely not. I had to wait an extra 25 minutes for the other customer to return the order which I did not want to accept but they weren t willing to do anything about it or take any responsibility for their error. 2 emails gone unanswered. The customer service was absolutely horrible.

There are plenty of options, they provide large portions and the prices are reasonable.The staff is wonderful and provide consistent excellent service. Best Chinese food in town. Came from the Sault to visit North Science and looked for anything Asian as we do not have that much in our place and this is perfect!

Food and service were great until closing came. Before I could finish my meal we were rudely rushed. The kitchen staff clapped his hands saying chop chop time to go. And when we asked for 5 mins he began n cursing saying he doesnt get paid after 9. Once we were out the door. He came out N gave us 2 middle finger. Never again. Hanson needs to learn customr service skills... Btw I was never reached in regards to this

Three of us heard good things and wanted to try it. We were very happy with the friendly and curteious staff. They were especially great with our 9 month old. Greeted us promptly when we walked-in and checked-in frequently during our visit. Space was clean, though dark overall. Quiet spot, we came right before the dinner rush I think. Food was very flavourful and came in very large portions. We ordered 3 Wonton Soup and couldnt finish; 1 order couldve fed the 3 of us. We tried something from each category and all were delicious. The only thing is that we expected an all-you-can-eat option, but menu is similar to most chinese food places, so we ordered things to try and split the bill. Prices were okay, but it adds up if youre looking for variety. A buffet style would probably go far here. Overall, Id recommend.

Ordered dinner for 9 for pick up and was ready exactly on time. Food was excellent and very generous. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and there was enough for leftover lunches the next day. Will definitely order again. Highly recommend.

I have been ordering from this restaurant for years and never experienced such a degree of disgust for both the food and the customer service. The crab cheese wantons had nothing in them aside from left over scrapings in some for a filling. The chicken balls tasted like soured oil which was beyond disgusting and when I contacted the location about this I was told to speak to the website operator about the order. The issue was the kitchen, not the website. I very much doubt we will ever bother ordering from this restaurant again

By far the best Chinese food in Sudbury. Our family moved here a year ago and were saddened by the over the top, Americanized Chinese food that we were able to find. I would put 7 Stars up against almost any restaurant in the GTA. The staff are amazing, the food is freshly prepared, the portions are entirely satisfying and you leave there with only amazing feelings and debating the soonest you can come again. This is our families go to restaurant.

Horrible. Ordered a variety of dishes to share. The chicken balls arrived and only the chicken balls, then 10 min later the egg roll arrived, then 5 min after that the lemon chicken arrived and so on. You want all of your food together to eat while its hot, not have it waiting getting cold. They should put more than a single dish on the robot and utilize the wait staff to help bring it out together. The portions are small for the price and mediocre at best. The wait staff is unattentive and dont check in to see how your meal is or if you need a refill. The pan fried bean sprouts were too spicy to eat but when we asked why so spicy the waiter asked if we had requested them spicy (we had not) and didnt care that we each only had one bite and left them. When the bill came they still charged us for them even when we told them yet again that they were too spicy and not how we had ordered. They didnt care. For $90 of mediocre Chinese food it was not a pleasant meal. Save your money and try somewhere else. It will be more reasonable and taste better.

They staff were very kind and the atmosphere is STUNNING! The food is great and fresh to order. Quality is high and it makes you feel calm and relaxed when you are waiting. They have a small lounge style with lovely art! Food has always been great and I highly recommend it for Chinese food options and cravings! Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Sudbury, maybe even in northern Ontario! I would always have takeout since I don t like dining in, but this place is SO CLEAN and the service is amazing. The staff are always smiling and happily serving you even if you ordered 80 items!! I haven t had authentic Chinese food in so long till I came across 7 star dumpling. The all you can eat is worth it if you re hungry and come with a group of friends. There s even a cute little robot that serves you the food

The food is okay. The quantity they serve is great. The only issue we had was the staff was flustered and confused when we visited. Maybe they had too many people to deal with.

Were visiting from out of town and ordered from Uber eats. We got the dinner for four, beef & soy sauce fried rice noodle and deep fried won tons. Everything was delicious! The noodles were my favourite but everything was so good. I havent tried the curry yet but everything else is perfect! Highly recommend.

On Dec. 10th 2 adults, 2 kids had dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, served hot. The service was amazing! Two servers were able to serve a full restaurant and even made time to check in with you during dinner. They were most pleasant and obliging. The kids really enjoyed having their appetizers delivered by Bella the robot. I would highly recommend it!!!!! 5 stars from me.

The most genuine Asian meal I have had in years. Food wasnt covered in syrup or sugar. The picture is the hot spicy boiled fish soup. Amazing. Also ordered the ginger beef, Shanghai noodles and sesame chicken. Needless to say the dumplings are perfection. Just eat here!! The Lasalle location. Loved it.

Driving by I decided to give this restaurant a try. I love dumplings and haven t had them in a restaurant in a long time. The exterior is rather bland; it doesn t catch one s attention but the interior is tastefully decorated. The staff are courteous and prompt. I had the pork wonton soup and the mixed seafood fried dumplings. I am thoroughly stuffed. The soup was a lot larger than I expected and happily so.
