Food is always incredible. You can tell they took time into their menu and recipes. Portions are big! And price is right! Love this place. I am from out of town and look forward to eating here when in Sudbury

In Sudbury working from another province. Buzzys was close to our hotel so we figured we would try it. Wow, what a gem!!! Food is great and fast. Best service Ive seen in years. These ladies hustle!! Been here our entire stay. No point in going anywhere else.

Went there today. The waitress was so rude and didn,t even bothered smiling or greeting. We never got the right food and felt so bad that she was arguing for the order we have placed. Totally disappointed.

Was in town for work. Had given up looking for good places to eat downtown after some disappointing attempts in the past. Wound up at Buzzy Browns in pursuit of good wings & a fun atmosphere on a Saturday night... and, boy, was it great! Also got the mussels, which were delicious. Cocktails are about half the price of what Im used to paying in the GTA. Waitress was friendly and fast. If Im ever back in Sudbury, this is where Ill go from now on!

Great food and service

Very disappointing. Ive been here a couple times in the past and it was good. Today, the service was not great, the waitress was in a bit of a rush and not very helpful. She handed me the side plates to hand out to my family when I asked for them. Its not my job to do that when Im a paying customer and yes I did do it but come on, we are paying to have food served so do your job. Every answer she gave was yup like shes hanging out with her friends and couldnt be bothered. The nachos were stale and very soggy and my daughter was only able to eat a couple and left the entire plate. I let the waitress know at the end of the meal and she didnt offer to take it off the bill even though the entire plate of nachos was still left. The escargot was completely flavourless. The most disappointing was the Pina Coladas my husband and I ordered. Watered down flavourless garbage. Will not be back. Might be time for an attitude adjustment for some staff here and a reminder of how to serve paying customers. Also the food and drink need quality control.

This place was great, our server was so polite and the food was absolutely refreshing! I got the grilled pesto brie and cranberry spinach salad. Wish I got pics but I was too hungry, until next time!!!

This was the most disappointing meal I ve had in a long time. The server was very abrupt and not at all friendly. I ordered the peanut pad Thai dish and it came with absolutely no peanut sauce. Right? Basically chicken, noodles and vegetables tossed in coconut milk. No peanut sauce, no flavour. Maybe the B team was working in the kitchen, I don t know. My wife s sweet potato fries were served stone cold. Luckily, we re chuckling about how ridiculously poor the experience was; it s too funny for me to be as annoyed as I should be. Don t bother going there.

The chef in the back kitchen got mad because he forgot to package my gravy, which I paid for in my order. It happens every time, except this time the chef stood from the kitchen sharping a knife while giving me a death stare. Maybe dont forget my gravy everytime. I love this restaurant but after last night, Im honestly too freaked out to order food ever again, sorry

A great place to get together with old friends and enjoy a nice meal.

Have been there a few times and enjoyed everything about it food is awesome and service is always nice and friendly as for the atmosphere. Im not much for sports bars but the place just seems to click for me even with the sports being aired. Its not an in your face ruckest, it was people hanging with friends chatting and enjoying themselves and checking out what event that was showing. A night with friends and watching what was on at the time in the den so to speak. Felt natural not forced. Parking: Busy Place that caters to various businesses but most are only open during the day so parking is available but the place is very popular. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheel chair accessible with a lot of specific parking for this need.

Good food. We got alot and we werent disappointed with anything. The onion flower, best Ive ever had. I really liked the fries and gravy.

Big restaurant and sports bar. Menu is huge. Cheeseburger and fries were good. Fries came out only warm. :/ I will try the restaurant again

One of the worst restaurant meals we have ever had. Two of the appetizers were passable. The fish and chips were soggy with fryer oil and the codfish was mushy. The oil smelled old as well. The pasta was incredibly bad, and was gluey as it had been sitting in sauce too long. Had to break it apart to get at overcooked seafood on bottom. Waitress noticed we did not eat much of the mains but did not ask how food was. Would not recommend and will never be back.

Racist bartender rejected us at 10:45pm saying they were closed and a man in the bar said your kind ain t welcomed here while others watched. Most racist place in Sudbury.

Portions are RIDICULOUS. We ordered a lunch size fish and chips each, and it was bigger than a Texas dinner. My wife and I will split something off the kids menu next time. Place is great, always fun.

Had a burger and it was awesome, but the fries were terrible cold and hard like they were cooked twice.

Ok so I ordered pasta and received this dried out overcooked meal which I had to throw away. I sent an email to the manager explaining the situation and he offered me a $25 gift card. Awesome , I will chaulk it up as an oopsy and continue giving them my business. After all Ive been ordering from there since Covid with no complaints. I place an order today and redeemed my gift card for two buzzy burgers and fries. Kept it simple!! I get home and received dried out frie crumbs and a dry burger which was cooked earlier in the day and maybe reheated for my order. No one cares in the kitchen as this is a reoccurring issue.

Went to Buzzy Browns for dinner and had the worst customer service ever. I ordered the Peanut butter pad thai something Im very familiar with. When it came out the waitress said the Thai green curry chicken I think, not even knowing what it was. When I had a bite I automatically tasted curry. When I brought it to my waitresses attention she told me it was what I ordered and that what I ordered also had curry in it. If it had curry in it I would have not ordered it as I cant stomach curry. She took my plate and never even brought it back out nor offered for me to have something else from the menu of equal value. Very ignorant waitress and poor customer service. I wont be returning to this establishment

We were a large group and we were crowded into a small area even though the rest of that area wasnt used for the entire time we were there. The food was typical bar food nothing special.

BIG Shout out to Chris and his team!! We showed up late, and even though the kitchen was getting ready to close, he kept it open for us to eat and enjoy Sudbury hospitality!! Our flight was late coming in, everything was against us, and we were hungry. At 11:30 pm, we walked in and asked for food, telling our story, and never a question was asked other than, What would you like to eat? Top that off with the best Jumbalaya I have had and a COLD COORS, and life is grand. Thanks again! We will be back before heading home next week.

Service may be great BUT the huge number of cob webs throughout the dining area, and the mice we saw under the tables AND GOING INTO THE KITCHEN while waiting for our drinks made us decide to go elsewhere. The cleanliness of this place has gone downhill badly since I was there last

Place is good so its usually busy.

It s a great restaurant and I love it but my review is only and only because everytime I have been there I have always seen mice and there hasn t been any action taken against that since forever now. Food is great otherwise.

Our waitress Melissa I ve had a few times now and is amazing!! She always has a smile on her face regardless if she s at the table love it !! Food is amazing too, but we come for the lovely service.

Very disappointed. Placed our order for drinks and appetizers within a few minutes of being seated. They were brought to the table a few minutes later. Our waitress stopped by to see how the food was (escargot and mushroom caps - good and hot) and offered a refill for an iced tea that had been finished. She didnt end up bringing said refill. We sat and waited a little over an hour for our entrées, which when they arrived, were cold and noticeably had sat for a while. A different server had brought our food and utensils as the one that was supposed to be helping us was occupied chatting with another table (10 minutes to take an order???). We ended up asking the second server for a refill on the iced tea. This, once again, never happened. We ordered the chicken spanakopita and the jalapeño popper grilled cheese. The chicken itself was room temperature and subpar. The inside was slightly warm though, so at least we know it was cooked! The grilled cheese had obviously sat as it was cold and the bread was rock hard. Kinda like when you forget you put bread in the toaster... for three days. We didnt interact with another server until we had finished our entrées and were offered our bill. We passed on dessert as we were unsure if it would arrive before morning. Buzzy Browns, if this was your best, its not nearly good enough.

Very lively bar... spent 3 days in Sudbury and ate there 5 times. Great atmosphere and a good selection of food on the menu.

Sat for almost 40mins and no one even came to attend to me and they kept serving folks around me! So nasty, I wont be going around there anymore.

Buzzy Browns is the place to go for beer and pub food. Their wings and fries are delicious (I m a huge fan of their house dip). The servers make you feel at home and always are lovely!

Ive been going to Buzzy Browns for 2 years now and I Have to say, it s my favourite place to visit. Servers, cooks, waitresses, and management are always super kind and always make me feel welcomed when I walk in. Always greeted with hellos and huge smiles. With all that said, the food is excellent as well. I would highly recommend anyone going, especially when Porketta bingo is on, October until April. Thanks Buzzy Brown for being awesome!

Great little pub! Just stopping by on a trip for a good ol clubhouse and they did not dissapoint! Had a drink and a incredible friendly chat with workers at the bar. I would definitely come back again... and the warning about generous portions at the front door, is more than true

Came here with a big group, yes I know Im sure it was very overwhelming and can understand. But I kid you not we waiting over an HOUR just to be asked what our order was. We were there for a total of 3 hours. The waitress was nice but needed to step up her game a bit. Needless to say next year we wont be returning. On top of all that everyones orders were either wrong or cold.

At first couldnt find the entrance lol, first time there, was busy understandable at supper time, was seated at a table that was wobbly, booth opened up so we moved to that, asking first of course, was much better and more cozy and private, was slow in service for drinks as I guess only one bartender and was busy, food was great and good atmosphere, garlic bread I got was over cooked

PEANUT BUTTER PAD THAI So delish! Enough food for 2 meals! Highly recommended! My husband had the fish and chip, also a lot of food & delicious! The bartender was our waitress, she was very busy and short staffed, and continued to give us the best service!

6 people in upper level. Waited 10 minutes for server then had to go and get one. Handed menus and told someone will be there. Ordered and wings were wrong and didnt have mash for the other order. On the good side beer was cold. 1 star just because.

MOUSE on the loose in the dining area. Staff didnt seem to care. Went in on a Monday evening. Bar area was busy. (We were sat in the dining area) We asked for 2 kids menus. They asked us to wait while they cleaned a table. It was pretty quick. The guy seating us cleaned the table, pointed to it and walled to the kitchen. We sat at the table, still wet, no big deal. Waitress brought menus, ordered drinks. Ordered an appetizer, it arrived as the waitress was taking our main order. Food came out quick and was hot. Nothing special though.. it was good but not great. It was ok. Half way through eating we saw a mouse (yes a MOUSE) at an empty booth. A minute or 2 later the waitress came over to see how our food was. She was informed about the mouse. She was not phased by it and said it happens, it probably got in some the patio doors were open. Now that might be a good line for most, but I know better. There should be bait stations outside along the perimeter of the building. There should be some inside in non customer areas as well as near any doors in the back area. They made no effort to apologize or make anything better. They offered take out containers for our remaining uneaten food. Kids meal comes with dessert. Ice cream. Waitress asks what flavour they want and goes to get it. Returns a moment later to tell us that the ice cream freezer broke but they can give us a Brownie dessert to share. The mouse was brazen and exploring far from the booth and into the dinning area. We were getting 10% off because of a hotel discount. They gave us 15%. Whoppie big deal. While paying the waitress is going on about how she lives in the country and they have one (mouse) that is in their living room. This is not the story to be telling when you can see 2 people (1 being a child) in our party is extremely terrified and upset about the mouse. Definitely do not recommend. Avoid this place. Go to a chain and knew what to expect. We prefer to support local small businesses that are not chains. But in this case go to a chain.

3 MICE where running around under the table behind where we were sitting. I had only a few bites of my pasta which was good. But lost my appetite after seeing 3 mice. The service was fast and great. But the server said the mice are always running around, and didnt seem to care about it. Will never go back.

We hadnt been here in quite a while, it was a pleasant surprise. The food is ok but the service was amazing.

Called to make a reservation for 9pm, waitress told us we had to be there and have ordered by 9:30 and we had to be out of the restaurant by 10:30 because they close at 11pm. That was fine with us. We arrived at 9:15, trying to walk in, and were met by another staff member telling us we weren t allowed in at the moment and he wasn t sure what was going on but kindly offered to get the owner for us. When the owner came to the door, he first told us there was no record of our reservation he could find, and blamed the waitress for not telling him. We described what the waitress had told us on the phone about ordering before 9:30, etc. He went on to say they had already closed the kitchen because there was to be cleaning done. So I m not sure which was true; that we apparently didn t have a reservation, that the kitchen was already closed even though a table of 6 walked in right before us, or that they just didn t want to make more food.

Cannot comment on dine-in as not available. The takeout food was ready on time and hot. The pesto brie was fantastic as were the salads and buffalo wings! Will definitely go back.

Bad customer service ever experience in sudbury. I wait for half n hour to give a order and after half n hour server don t even greet us properly.Server was always in a hurry as well as never asked about the food options. Not so friendly server she said that her shift is going to end so of you have to order some more food please do it as I would not be able to assign you another server and once you order the food I will give you guys the bill and they you guys can sit and have your food but you will have to pay first. Worst customer service by Holli. Please never ever visit buzzy brown. We have other restaurants like wacky s, boston, kelsey s with good customer service and food as well.

We liked it a lot! We wanted to go eat meat and we enjoyed some delicious dishes. The attention is excellent. The only thing we missed was Sofis crush and Coca Zero for me. A detail.

Was pretty busy so took a bit long to get food but when it came was delicious! Ordered Creole Jambalaya on the fettuccine and was very impressed with the flavor! Also ordered wings. Been to alot of restaurants this year and always ask for as hot as they can make. Finally found a place that makes super hot wings that taste phenomenal! Definately recommend the wings from here. Waitress was great, always making sure things were good and didnt drive us nuts whole eating!

Had the Onion Mushroom Burger and chose to have it just the way it is without all the garnishings (no lettuce, tomatoes, etc.). One of the nicest, flavourable burgers Ive had in a restaurant for quite some time!! Burger patty was a nice size and full of flavour. Very tasty!!

I used to haunt this place when I was in university over 20 years ago. It is nice to see it still has the best food in Sudbury! The classic burger and fries were excellent.

Authentic and Genuine

Would be a 5 star but.

Ordered the flouring onion for a start and was not disappointed! Then wings with sweet potato fries (didn t know they were an extra $5), and the onion ring chipotle burger and fries. The portion sizes were out of this world! The burger could have had more of a chipotle taste to it, but other than that, good food! Lots of food for the price you pay. This is the second time we have been and we will be back again! We stop here on our way home from our trips up north. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating! Kids eat free Saturday and Sunday which was a bonus! They had a decent high chair for us to use too which was excellent!

A very popular and busy place. The food and service are only average. A dark atmosphere inside that is a popular drinking spot so it is often very loud & busy. Parking: Lots of free parking as the location is in a strip mall

staying in town for a week I went to shoeless joes just down the street first sat at the bar for 15 min and no one asked if i needed a drink ect and walked out... drove down the street to this place and wow at door for 1 min the couple in front of me where being seated the lady behind the bar comes down and seats me and serves me as well !!!! well done guys food was great service great what more could you want !!! We recently had our staff lunch at Buzzys, and it was a fantastic experience! There were 25 of us, plus a restaurant full of other customers and the Buzzys staff were quick, friendly and amazing. Our food orders came very quickly (despite how packed the restaurant was), were hot and most importantly, delicious. Im always wary about ordering a curry in a pub setting, but their Thai Green Curry Chicken was really good! If youre looking for a great place to host out of town guests, a staff function, or somewhere nice to hang out on a Friday night, I highly recommend Buzzy Browns.

Food was medicore at best especially considering the price point. I had high expectations and wanted to eat somewhere a bit fancier Instead of east side Marios. I had wings and they were the worst wings Ive gotten at a restaurant. I spent 50$ and thats without a tip which they didnt deserve

Some insight to this good review. Driving too Toronto, ride was taking longer then expected, we were coming from Manitoba. We were calling hotels and restaurants around the Sudbury area because we were giving up driving all the way in one go. Buzzy Browns Brasserie, was the only place that was actually open till 2am in the whole city! So that settled it were staying at the super 8 and going to Buzzies. Awesome perk, if you stay at the super 8 you get 10% off of your meal at Buzzies so that was an extra win. The food was awesome, we ordered two different burgers, had the two for one wings, and some liquor to get over the extra time added to our drive. The service was wonderful, the server wiped up some honey dill sauce for me, since that is a Manitoba thing, and she was very friendly and pleasant. The Manager or Owner, not sure of he was, was also very welcoming and hospitable. If your doing that long drive over and need a place to stay and eat. Hope on to super 8 and grab some gub at buzzys. Great deals, portions, and service. Plus you dont have to waste extra time driving into downtown sudbury.

The service was great but the meal was less than spectacular. A very elaborate description for the ribs that ended up being very tough and barely grilled. The wings also were very over deepfried and dry. I did mention it to the waitress and had she in turn relayed that to the manager and offered a discount, I may go back but sadly...nope!! Dont order ribs here!
