NEVERRRRR AGAINNNN. I went there craving some pork. I blame myself as I should’ve know better. The pasta that was in the front looked so old, but this ain’t about the pasta. You can tell the place is not a sanitary place. The lady took up the pickles and a grain of cabbage dropped on the counter, she used her hand and picked that small piece of cabbage and put back in the silver pan. Again I blame me. Then they have a little girl handling food, no gloves nothing. Long story short after I ate that food, I’ve been on the toilet for the past 3 days and I know it’s their food because three of us that ate it can’t stay off the toilet, belly in pain, feels like slight food poisoning. This is just my experience
Fantastic! Was a lovely surprise, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Great value good sized portions. Polite friendly service. Cant wait to return.
Do not go here. First of all, the wait for our food after me and my wife ordered was over an hour, and it wasn’t busy at all. Then, once we got our food, it was soggy and cold. Very undercooked as well. I found hair in mine, and the utensils had residue. The staff are not only careless but very rude and unwelcoming. My wife says she saw something run from one table to another. (Rats, mice??!). Me and my family are absolutely disgusted and will not be coming back.
On a Sunday evening we were looking for a place to eat #CuisineTropicale was open and a lucky find. we were more than delighted with this small diner offering Afro Caribbean and African dishes. My husband enjoyed the combination plate of jerk chicken with a side of spicy jollof rice, fried plantain , pasta salad and piquant coleslaw. I enjoyed the fried pork (Griyo) with djondjon rice and the same sides. The coleslaw was a surprisingly spicy salad but very tasty. For beverages we enjoyed Old Jamaican Ginger Beer. A nice accompaniment to the fun exciting dinner. Would be glad to eat at Cuisine Tropicale again.
Absolutely delicious! We got the griyo and jollof rice, jerk chicken and djon djon rice, and a soup for delivery. Great price for the portions you get! The food is spicy but not very spicy and it's so flavourful. The meat is so tender too. So happy I tried this place. Will definitely order again and dine in-person!
Do not sleep on this place! The owners were exceptionally nice and accommodating to our intolerances. We enjoyed the fish and plantains. The star of the show may have been their coleslaw! Flavourful with a kick!
As a Toronto resident, I find my self overly excited for my work trips to Sudbury because it means I get to dine at Cuisine Tropicale. The food is absolutely phenomenal with rich flavors that are hard to find else where. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must visit.
We arrived late around 8pm during a really wet and gloomy Wednesday and were welcomed to some of the best service and hospitality I have had in a long time. There were 2 in our party and we order Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas and Fried Fish with rice and peas. Let me tell you this Jerk Chicken was amazing! There's a lot of heat which should be expected when eating Jerk. It was moist and flavourful throughout. The fried fish was excellent as well crispy outside but glistening and moist on the inside. Both dishes fell away from the bone. Each meal comes with a large portion of rice a cole slaw a pasta salad and 3 fried plantains and a portion of sauce that mixed into my rice. The owner operator was friendly kind provided excellent service and wouldnt allow me to tip him so I promised I would return. If you're looking for authentic Afro-Caribbean cuisine head here, you wont be disappointed!
If it was my last day on Earth, and I could only eat one more time, I would eat Cuisine Tropicale. Thats how good the food is. Absolute perfection.

when i went to this restaurant the owner yelled at me, my food had bugs in it. There was also hair in my daughters food and my husband got sick after eating there.
Took an hour to get a table. Horrible service. Hair in our food, some food was even undercooked. Waitress gave us attitude. Manager is disrespectful. Horrible restaurant do not go.
Disgusting food, worrible service I will never be coming back to this restaurant they have flys, flying around in my food and surrounded the whole restaurant, the workers were all rude to me and yelled at me whenever I wanted more food, the food tasted like was left overs Would not recommend coming here.
So here s what happen got in the restaurant me and my boyfriend sat at the table waiting to get served it took for ever now I would understand if the restaurant was busy but there s two other people in there so I don t know why they were talking so long then once they finally served us it took an hour for our food then once we got it was poorly seasoned undercooked and there was a hair in my boyfriends food waitress was rude manager even worst like what the heck never going back just wasted my money

That had to be some of the BEST jerk chicken I have ever had. The rice and salad complimented the chicken nicely. The heat (spice) was perfect.
We had the jerk chicken with spicy rice and plantain as recommended and it was awesome. Very spicy and super enjoyable. It s more of a take out place rather than eat in though we did eat in restaurant. The food came out in take out containers and we ate with disposable cutlery. Amazing flavors, big portions and friendly service. We tried this place for the first time this evening and were blown away by how great everything was. My 6 year old was a huge fan of the jollof rice and stew beans, eating more than the rest of us. I highly recommend giving this place a try because it will definitely become a new family favorite.

Me and my family have been wanting to go to this place for so long and we finally did yesterday. This place is a true gem!!! For starters, the owner is such a kind person. Then moving on to the food, DELICIOUS. We had the white rice plate with stew beans, the djondjon rice plate and the mixed rice and bean plate and none of them disappointed. If youve never tried fried plantains, you have no idea what you are missing out of. Bottom line, EAT HERE!!!

DO NOT EAT HERE. I got food poisoning from undercooked chicken. Tried to cook it and save it but then I realized the WHOLE inside of the chicken is bloody not just one part. This is the first and last time Ill be ordering from this restaurant.
This is number one on our list in Sudbury whenever we want take out. The food is so delicious. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have not been disappointed.
The guy is very sympathetic, tells great story about the Haitian community in the very North of Ontario.

SO DELICIOUS. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. I am so bored of the food in Sudbury. Big portions and amazing flavours. Not too spicy if you can t handle a lot! I recommend starting with the Jollof rice and fried chicken if you re not sure and wanna start simple. Give the chef a kiss for me!
