We have been going to gongas for years its always been very good The last two times not so much I dont know if theyre changing their breakfast cook but the potatoes or rock hard taste old and that was just today again My over easy egg the white was hardly even cooked and it was all liquidy on the plate Im not sure whats going on at Congress but its always been our regular go-to place I sure hope the quality improves sad to say this but thats too bad meals in a row

Nasty server took my to-go order, zero pleasantries? Pointed at a chair and said sit there then proceeded to sit at a table herself and play her podcast about molestation at full volume??

Thank you to the lovely woman who offered a pleasant brunch experience today. We didnt catch her name - she was wonderful.

Food is best at this location, especially the eggs Benedict and the salads, not to mention their all day breakfast

Expensive for diner breakfast, and the coffee was weak. Food was pretty ok.

First time there love the variety on the menu so everyone got what they wanted. Food was fantastic , tipped our server she was great. Will be going back there for sure.

I ordered on uber and in the special instructions I wrote extra dip please. I will tip the restaurant 2$ to cover it. Since there was no option to add it myself. So I did. A few minutes later I get a notification that 50 cents has been added to my order. I order from there all the time, but not anymore. Hope your 50 cents was worth it!

Cant go wrong with some good Eggs Benny for breakfast. This place has been around a long time and its consistency never fails.

Had breakfast around 230pm. Service was remarkable. Spilled beverage and waitress was right there to help clean up. Prices were reasonable for amount of food portions. Parking: Corner with lots of space

Staff was nice. Place was filthy especially since there is flu and covid going around and $22 for an omelet with a side of meat! Wow. Way overpriced IMO. Picture is the doors going into and out of the kitchen. How dirty is it inside ??

Poutine advertised as having cheese curds. Came with shredded cheese. Picture on skip menu even shows curds. Fail.

Im not sure what happened today but it was the slowest service we have had. after 25 minutes we had to tell them we needed it to go. the food was good its was just slow service.

It s always busy! They should have more waitresses? It pisses people off! A table is never clean fast enough! Otherwise pricing is excellent!

We really enjoy Gongas on Falconbridge

Went here for lunch with my mom and grandpa we all got the club sandwich it was really good but not much chicken on it. Lots of fries, gravy was good! Coffee not so good, friendly staff and good prices. Nice quiet place to bring your grandpa and enjoy our time together thank you :)

All day breakfast, small town diner feel. Food hits the spot if youre looking for traditional diner style breakfast.

I went in to pickup an order and the lady who served me was extremely rude. When I entered the restaurant she was yelling at another customer. Not the way to run a business when we are trying to support local . Won t be going back to the Falconbridge location.

Staff is excellent. But a bacon and egg sandwich without cheese for 7 bucks is a bit ridiculous. And to add a slice of cheese is 1.99. And its not even real cheese its a kraft singles slice. No thanks

I go to Gongas when I want a nice home cooked meal. The quality is consistent across all locations with friendly staff. I find the prices reasonable for the portion sizes and just have not been disappointed.

The restaurant was very clean, the service was excellent and the waitress was exceptional. Lets not forget the food it was great as well.

Burger was cold as well as the fries Skip the dishes fault I went in my self to get the food and told them I did not want the food thats been sitting there for a hour waitress assured me it wasnt Very disappointed i will not be using skip the dishes or eating at gongas any more

Service was not the best. Order was completely wrong. Instead of fixing the order blamed the cook. Used to be my favourite restaurant. Will not go back.

Staff need to practice hand hygiene. One staff squished down the garbage in the kitchen then proceeded to serve food.. I almost threw up...WASH YOUR FN HANDS PLEASE

The waitress was absolutely amazing very nice and professional. Kept checking up to make sure we were topped up on our water and satisfaction. The food was also very good.

First time and it was quite pleasant. Our waitress was super great and nice!! Portions were much larger than I was expecting. Will go back next time we are passing through!

Food is still amazing. I do wish the location would get a face lift. Looks exactly as it did 10 years ago, but a little more run in. Staffs nice and quick. Cant really ask for more.

Idk if owner changed but the atmosphere at my favorite diner is less inviting. I miss the friendly waitress that used to be employed here. Now, its just business as usual, takes up to 15mins before someone even says hi, and they throw the food on the table with a bang, no enjoy, no smiles or a thank you on the way out. I used to love going to gongas ..sadly, not anymore.

Had a very bad experience here yesterday, place was not busy yet 2 waitresses were tallying cashes or something rather than getting us a menu. After asking for a menu we continued to wait, seems whatever they were counting was more important than serving. After getting up to leave she then grabbed a menu as if she was going to serve us. Was too late, clearly we werent valued.

A Classic diner nothing special. Good food. Good prices.

A classic old school dinner feel with amazing comfort food. I recommend trying their Gonga burger, and if you want a real food eating challenge, add a pulled pork poutine.

Not too crowded, tables are few and far between so lots of room. 2 waitresses and very friendly. Seem happy to be back at work. Food was excellent.. warm, tasty and just how we ordered it.

Gongas Grill is hit or miss with the quality of the food and its 50/50 on whether your order will even be correct whether you call it in or use a food ordering app. Be warned with their relationship with DoorDash, orders go to the wrong location, the items go through wrong & some dont go through at all. Its easy enough to get credited with the apps but if you try to speak to the manager to explain a real oddity that you and a server uncover, be prepared to be spoken over and not heard or better yet dont waste your breath.

Awesome food, awesome service. The food speaks volumes. Work pays for my food because I am working out of town, which means I can have anything for supper, yet I keep going back to Congas Grill on Falconbridge. Thank you for the great dining experience.

We walked in to be greeted politely. As we sat down at a dusty table (they all were), the waitress came over and asked what we wanted to drink. We asked if we could get the table wiped. The waitress instantly was offended and responded Its just dust. No one has even sat here yet. And then wouldnt wipe it off. Okay? But wed still love it if you could wipe it for us. Then she proceeded to gossip and give us dirty looks with the other waitress. It wasnt a personal offence, we just wanted the dust off. She then gave us the worst service after that. She wouldnt even look at us... Im a server too im not being a snarky customer, I was just asking a simple favour. Thanks! We wont be back.

Have had breakfast here (Falconbridge Rd location) many times, always excellent & generous portions;today we had lunch here with our 7-year old grandson who loves their kids pogo/fries combo ($4.95)! Good variety on kids menu as well as regular menu & all meals reasonably priced; Caesar salad very fresh, served nice & cold. Burger platter served with delicious FRESH-cut fries & small coleslaw, BLT sandwich very generous serving. Our server Amy was super friendly, great with the little guy & very attentive despite fact that restaurant was very busy! Food arrived hot & fast!

Love this diner. Its a family staple for us because there are so many options and the all day breakfast is lit. I only wished my BLT was full of mayo. Ill just ask for it on the side next time.

Breakfast at my hotel didnt start in time for my first appointment of the day and this place filled the gap very nicely. I had a standard eggs, bacon, home fries and toast with juice and coffee. Friendly fast service, convenient to my location. I would go back or recommend for sure. Ive eaten here many times and if its a greasy spoon youre looking for this spot is for you. I always have breakfast here even though it is lunchtime and I find the breakfast very Appetizing. Ive always received excellent service there. The coffee isnt of Tim Horton caliber but, none the less its pretty good.

I ordered breakfast for my husband and I on Monday morning and he went and picked it up, when he got home I noticed MY order was wrong. I called back to just let the woman know that this isnt what I asked for. Instead of apologizing she said well I assumed you can see how it would be miscommunicated no, I dont. If we were IN the restaurant and he placed his order and I placed mine you wouldnt have assumed anything. She asked if I then wanted to come back. I let her know that I have 2 babies at home so that would be crazy (I wasnt going to make my husband late for work either by sending him back) I used to eat at gongas OFTEN so I know how the eggs benny are made hence why I specified ham instead of peameal but since my husbands had an extra side of peameal she ASSUMED I wanted eggs Benny with peameal and a side of ham... so I paid extra for something I didnt want and when I told her Im not coming back because it would be too hard for me, I just want her to listen to her customers better- she laughed. I then called back a couple hours later to speak with a manager, was told I would be contacted Monday or Tuesday, its now 7:30pm Tuesday and I havent received a call. I tried speaking to a manager before leaving a review but they laugh at their customers and dont have the decency to get back to them.

Just went for lunch. After waiting over 50 minutes. A man on his lunch break left due to not receiving his meal. Terrible

Came in at 7 last night to order food and the waitress was extremely rude! She said the cooks in the back were ready to go home and how they were not happy that I had just come in to order take out. She complained almost the entire time we waited for our food. When I asked her what time they closed she said 8pm which is why we arent happy you came in so late In my opinion, an hour is plenty of time to make a couple meals for take out. She gave me dirty looks and attitude and made unnecessary rude comments until the second we walked out with our food. I do NOT recommend this place!

Eggs bacon potatoes and toast. I m always shocked how places get this wrong. Gonga s was wonderful, simple and perfect.

Ive order a good handful of times through skip the dishes and this establishment has continously let myself down. If its not undercooked beef in my burgers its onion rings soggy beyond reason. Super unimpressed, my family enjoyed their food this evening while I had to once again cook my own meal. Not the first time but will be my last. I will not continue to support gongas grill within my community or the Brady street location any further.

I just had poutine. The fries were cold and old greased soaked. Also old fries were used. Prefried on the bottom. I would not recomend

Grilled cheese had barely melted processed cheese, forgot my bacon, gave me and charged us for gravy I never wanted. Never came back to offer coffee. All around dissapointment.

Windows are dirty floor has food on it the cook has a big beard with no hair net on it when we came in we were the only ones here and the staff were just standing around doing nothing except be on their phone don t get me wrong they were friendly but they could have picked up a broom and sweep the floor get some winded and clean the windows. Price it great for what you get. Food taste great.

Food is filling, nice and quiet atmosphere for all meals of the day. Every time Ive been there Ive never had to wait for a table and food is always out quick and delicious. This place is also on skip the dishes.
