Wow, wow and another 5 star wow from my husband and I. Thank you Google for helping us find this amazing spot! Thank you Tanya and Wolfgang for some of the best food we've ever had!!! My husband had her famous meatball sandwich, I had the Carters Panini (fresh chicken, bacon, ham, lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomato and sauce) and homemade cream of mushroom soup! She then gave us some homemade kettle chips to sample with her homemade sauce, let's just say.. we took a tray for takeout after the sample. Then my husband fell in love with her homemade chocolate chip cookies, also taking home 4 and put an order for 6 to pickup tomorrow 😍 Super amazing people, super amazing food! Truly lives up to being the magical bistro!
Thanks to Google we found this amazing breakfast place. It lives up to its 5* reputation for the excellent food, super friendly owner who we had to chat with. We had a soup and a sandwich both of which was excellent. The only comment I can make is it was initially hard to find because it was on the ground floor of a apartment complex with no clear signs and there was limited street parking in the area. We love supporting small family run businesses with friendly owners and will definitely be back!
Honestly, this little gem of a bistro is worth every one of these stars and more. I had soup and a sandwich and every bite was delicious. This family run business is not to be passed up. If you want a filling, homemade, feel-good kind of meal, look no further.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Couldn't ask for better service or food. What a great experience, my familys new favorite place!!! Must try her soups.....they are delicious and the heartiest soup I've ever had. You'll be full with these large hearty portions but don't forget to take some amazing desert home for later. Feels like home.
The soups are homemade and very hearty - not a weak soup in sight at this place! I had the minestrone soup and a Brooks Brie sandwich and just the soup would have been plenty for me but the sandwiches are also long and plum full of deliciousness so great to split a lunch with someone or have plenty leftovers for dinner.
This place reminded me so much of my mom's kitchen growing up. Our group of 6 walked in, and 3 of the 5 tables were being used, with only a few small tables left. We were about to leave, and the owner stopped us and said she'd move people around to make room for us. So she asked a very kind regular customer named Bill to move to a small table and fit us all in. Talk about service! Bill was awesome for moving, too. I had the meatball sub, and it was easily the best meatball sub I've ever eaten. The other guys with me had the barley soup, open hamburger sandwich, and a few other things, and they were all delicious. The portions are very big and not expensive. I would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone who is looking for a home cooked meal.
The bell pepper cream was the best soup i ever had, also the pickles that came with the pressed panini are some of the best. 10/10 Staff is really nice too! This is the stop you have to make in Sudbury!
My new favourite lunch spot in Sudbury! Been here to eat a few times now and the sandwiches are fantastic. The Italian sandwich is to die for, the magic meatball is another favourite. Everything is cooked fresh to order and the service is always friendly. If you’re looking for a spot to grab a sandwich or soup for lunch, look no further.

Absolute best Reuben Ive ever had, Soup of the Day was ridiculously tasty. You can taste the love in the food here. Not to mention the best, chewiest chocolate chip cookie Ive had in my life.
Amazing reuban and escargot were still great even though she burnt them. Cant wait to go back.

In town for business looking for something no one else was offering and came across this restaurants great reviews. I ordered the chicken and brie panini with chipotle sauce and thought this ingredient mix might not be 3 star worthy. I was wrong. It was 5 star worthy. I haven t had a panini this amazing since I lived in Europe. I also had the pea soup. It was a tad salty for my taste but worth it. It was so nice to eat real food and the customer service was genuine and so appreciated by patrons eating there when I visited. This is the place. See you next month when I am in town.

A group of four of us went here for lunch. Tiny place - two tables for four, two tables for two and four counter seats. All of us would give it five stars. One person had a veal Parmesan sandwich, one had spaghetti and meatballs and two of us had chicken pot pie with Caesar salad. Everything home made, freshly cooked and delicious. Friendly service too. Quite busy at lunch time - glad to see a small local place doing well. Highly recommended!
Ordered the Veal Parm Sandwhich. It was phenomenal. Tanya (the owner) was very friendly , and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back.

First time in Sudbury and just driving through. We checked online to see what was available for lunch and saw the strong reviews for Magical Bistro. There were enough reviews that suggested they were from more than friends and family hyping the place. And our quesadilla and soup lunches lived up to the reviews. Fresh ingredients, flavorful, and excellent service. And even the customers are friendly. You can easily miss this place because its tucked into the corner of a seniors apartment building. If our experience is an indicator, you want to make the effort to find it.

Great place to get food. Food was fantastic, I got the Chicken Parmesan with garlic bread. Best Ive had. My girlfriend gets this a lot other places in North Bay. And I try some of course. This I would rank #1 The lovely lady check up on me and asked if I wanted my pasta heated. The consideration of that means alot. And on top of that, it was at a great price. I will definitely be taking my girlfriend there. Highly recommend

My 2nd time ordering delivery from this place & Im absolutely IN LOVE with EVERYTHING Ive tried here so far! The soups of the day, Meatball Sandwich, Carters Club Panini, Greek Salad, & Cappuccino were all just top-notch. Amazing portions too - a sandwich/a panini & a soup of theirs are enough for me to split between 2 of my lunches! Ultimate comfort food, made with love! Thank you for running such a caring & overall wonderful business. Looking forward to trying the pizzas & chicken/lamb parms!
Find it expensive for budget Im on disability pension, and as an handicap Im glad to say the place is accessible and theyre so welcoming and respectful as a 12 yrs of experience as a chef I can add the place is always clean and the food is very good, and I if you can effort it it is reasonable price, I recommend it for a meet a friend have a lunch, dinner, you can sit, there are tables, the ambiance is homey! Its a very nice place and workers!

Took my mother there for lunch . Their grilled sandwiches were a hit 100% and the soup just like Nonna used to make . Homemade and with love and passion Dessert was an amazing light and still warm carrot cake . The owner and staff were beyond pleasant . We will be back for sure !!
Had my first meal. Pasta dinner. It was great. Meatballs were delicious. Garlic bread excellent. Salad and past sauce, yum yum. Great atmosphere. Very pleasant owner. Will be back. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter.

Best homemade food in the world.
We are a local business whos owners believe in supporting local restaurants on Fridays. We were beyond impressed with the portions, quality of food and taste. We will be adding this to the list of regular places we support. Meatball sandwich was cheesy and the meatballs fresh and tasty on the freshest bun. Supreme pizza had plentiful toppings and cheese and was a great size. The chicken parm sandwich was plentiful with juicy chicken and a savoury sauce with oodles of cheese and the club pressed panini was spot on with a generous helping of all the fixings.
The food was unbelievable we had pizza and ceaser salad and carrot cake. It reminds you of good old home cooking. Big portions it was awesome.
I eat here almost daily , amazing soups and paninis everything is so fresh

The Ruban was amazing! The sauce on it was out of this world! So delicious! Also tried the mushroom soup, and my wife could not get enough of it! The meatball sub and lasagna are next on our list can t wait to try them! Food
The bistro is a great addition to the downtown. Ive had 4 great lunches from there, and everything I see coming out of their kitchen looks awesome.
The pizza was great! The service was excellent and super friendly. I ll be eventually be tasting everything on the menu.

Read about this on internet on Sudbury downtown. Nice story and I live in Ottawa but want to visit Sudbury. Not interested in the Ked thing! Downtown is what really makes a city. My hotel will have to be DOWNTOWN ! Looking forward to dining at this place and talking to people here.
