Silver Bullet in Greater Sudbury

Was there yesterday Sun 25th usually love the fries bur this time were clumped together undercooked and tòo crispy. Very disappointed

Trash, its like eating under cooked over fried and dropped on the floor food.

Tried to call in to order some fries, person on the phone was extremely rude and didnt want to take my order.

Their hours of operation are not what they advertise. We just went for lunch at 1pm. Made sure to check online if they were open. Drove 30 minutes just to find a closed sign.

***Update*** WOW!!! We got our first takeout order of the season today from the Lasalle & Falconbridge location and it was awesome!!! The munchie platter was perfect, crispy not crunchy and not too greasy. The cheesesticks are the best Ive had in Sudbury. The price is fair and portions are great! My husband totally enjoyed his poutine. As a side note the fries this time were perfectly done, slightly crispy and lightly salted. First time trying...My chicken fingers were the best! I tried a bite of my hubbys burger and it was really good, gravy was good. Then came the fries...not good! They were soggy and worse than the frozen fries at home. I expect that takeout fries are not as good, but we live less than 5 minutes away and everything was piping hot. The fries should have been at least a little crisp.

First time going there ever since the new owner took over. Worst food ever I got from the Silver Bullet on Notre Dame. Some of the fries were still raw. And if i wanted a pogo from a grocery store. I would of went and bought a whole box for the price they are selling store bought pogos.

Who puts shredded marble cheese and charges 15 dollars for a poutine.

0 Stars - Store bought pogos + under cooked french fries. There was a couple gray fries and some tasted rancid.

Notredame silver bullet. Paid $20 for a poutine and onion rings. Poutine had shredded marble chesse. and i got 5 onion rings. What a disappointment. So bad you just have to laugh.

Just wow. We called and asked if they let you order and then pick it up, the woman was super rude, and even asked where we lived which I thought was crazy. We placed our order for pickup at 6 pm, pulled out cash as they do not take cards and had a cab waiting to take me home following pickup. Upon arrival to pick up my food take out my cash to pay, and she informed me that they do not drop food until people come as they have a lot of no-shows? Why would you not tell me this on the phone before I had already spent money taking it out of the ATM and for a cab? I would ve just ordered food from five guys like I ended up doing! Not to mention after all, that she had the audacity to ask me to pay before I even got the food, or it started cooking! We arrived five minutes early! Super unprofessional and rude wasting peoples money when you could ve just said yes or no plain and simple. The only reason I persisted after you were rude on the phone as I wanted my partner to try the food as I know it s good.

First time going and unknown when thinking getting homemade pogo they are store bought from grocery store. $4 really . Wont be going back

Manager has a mouth,staff was overworked and snooty.Had to remind the staff 2 times about my order,watched several people who ordered 20 minutes after me walk away with their food.And when I finally got my order almost 65 minutes later it was not all there,and messy.I had to ask again for missing beverages and when I thanked the server she gave me a uhuh.No manners and very unorganized.The manager did however try to make up for things by giving me a 10 dollar gift card,but its a little too late.You wont be getting any of my money anytime soon.

Every other restaurant in Sudbury could close forever, and Id be ok with that if I could have food from Silver Bullet. Update: prices are up and portions are disgraceful. Fries used to be stacked above the rim of the box, now barely meet it. Photo attached is a large fry. No thanks. $8.10 for $0.10 of potatoes.

Not sure what changed. Quality and service have become non-existent. The Silver Bullet 2.0 at the end of Lasalle is better and less hit and miss. Sad to see Sudburys slice of history become so poorly managed.

Great food, just make sure that if you order fish and poutine to ask for the fish seperate or they will put it on your poutine ..

When it is open its pretty good right now they have a misleading answering machine message saying they are overwhelmed with calls and to call back in 30 min SMH... not to mention their Google account is not up to date they have business hours stated that are false they are completely closed..but when open burgers remind my partner of when he was a kid getting a burger from Harrys in Scarborough.

Best poutine in sudbury, cant make my trip to the hunt camp during season without stopping in. The lady that served me was very polite and easy on the eyes as well. Definetly recommend this place.

The best place to get fries the way u want it Not the way they feel like cooking them ?? Always friendly n did a complete turnover with new owners n their Bullet Dog with Fried Onions Omg its delish the onions are cooked!! I d recommend this Chip Stand 110%

Ive been crazy about the poutine at Silver Bullet since childhood. I moved away from Sudbury and came back to visit and was thrilled to find that the poutine hasnt changed at all. It has that nostalgic delicious taste of my childhood that always leaves me full but wanting more. Silver Bullet is a Sudbury Staple

Was very good poutine was on point onion rings were absolutely perfect chicken fingers were awesome the chicken on bun well was good just wished was a full breaded breast but other then the preference will go again

I got their onion rings. Unfortunately I have had many issues with this place. I spent over 65$ and my order was wrong and absolutely disgusting. I spoke to staff and nothing was ever done. We have stopped going here.

Pros - Big portions Affordable Good taste Good quality Monday special Extensive menu Nice people Cons Uses shredded cheese for poutine but curds are an option for extra . Sometimes its a longer wait, but worth it. No combo options except the Monday special. Only accepts cash ! During Covid this could scare business, and that means I have to plan to go where by getting out cash, costing an extra 3.50 at an ATM . Over all, I still go here regardless, but id love to see a debit machine and more combo/meal options ! :)

If you ask them if they make homemade pogos they will lie and take your money. I specifically asked if they make them from scratch and Im served a pogo with pogo© on the stick... Hmmmm.

The food is fantastic and the service is great. If youre anything like me youll eat half your food later and honestly mine stayed warm hours after I purchased it. Was very satisfied

Travelled 20 min and arrived at 8:30pm only to hear We re closed! Even though the screen doors were open. I objected and stated the online hours stated 9:00PM, still no service. Not going back. I d suggest if you re planning to go after 8pm... don t as their hours are wishy-washy and looks like they make em up as they go along. Try Leslie s just down the street for great food and superlative service. The Silver Bullet should change their name to the Dud Bullet. I d give zero stars if I could.

Went there for a pogo and poutine - fries had a bad oil taste and were soggy from cheese and gravy Pogo leaves something to be desired over priced and doesent even have a combo ** DRINK was NOT included :/

Was amazed by the size as well porportion of the poutine i got. Filled with beef or pork if i remember extra cheese gravey onions green peppers was a full delux even mushrooms. Highly recommended as a quick bite for a great price. Family sized vrlersion of this delicacy was under tweenty dollars with the works on top. Halfed i think approx for the standard.

The burger is massive and definitely worth the price, way better than what youd get at most sit down chain restaurants
