Six months ago, I had a dining experience at Red Lobster that was nothing short of disappointing. The menu was misleading, and the charges on the final bill were far from what I expected. While the menu mentioned an additional fee for premium entrées, it failed to clarify critical exclusions or eligibility requirements. This became evident only when the inflated bill arrived, leaving me shocked and frustrated. Adding to the frustration, the menu vaguely mentioned that a "discrepancy tip" might be added, but it never specified what percentage this tip would be. To my surprise, the tip automatically added to the bill was much higher than even 20%. I was not given the option to approve or dispute this charge, which felt deceptive and unfair. When I raised my concerns with the waitress, no effort was made to resolve the issue or address my dissatisfaction. This lack of transparency and poor customer service has completely soured my view of Red Lobster. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, not one filled with hidden charges and surprises. I will not be returning to this restaurant and strongly advise others to be cautious when dining here.
Had an amazing server his name is Sean, very sweet lights up a room, he was very patient with my requests and reassured it was no problem, food was excellent, and the scallops are the best I've ever had!!! 10/10 would go again. Everytime I've gone I've never had a problem!
Had a great experience at Red Lobster! The food was decent, but the Garlic and Herb Snow Crab Legs were definitely the highlight—such great value for the price. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Overall, a satisfying dining experience. Will definitely be back for the crab legs!
We were a party of nine, and everything was perfect! Our waitress was attentive and quick, and she didn't skip a beat in terms of service. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we're excited to return.
Really disappointed. Very bad fried calamari . I tried to remove the bad oil and even that I Got stomachache immediately. Waitress not welcoming, giving you cold face :( I shared that with the manager and canceled my main meal). Price is high for the quality. In order to charge that price and get more customer (restaurant was empty for such hour 6:30pm), the owner should: invest on the kitchen chef : training or hire better one, and on waitress training as well.

We had the dinner for 2 Thursday special. It comes with your choice of appetizer and 2 sides. The portions are very fulfilling and enough to be shared by 2 adults. The dessert is the chocolate wave cake. I thought it was dense especially combined cream and ice cream. Our server Scotia is a lovely person who advised us on the appetizer.
Ordered takeout on Friday, November 11th 2022. I ordered escargots which arrived completely cold to the point where the cheese solidified and I was left with a gross mixture of mushrooms, escargots and garlic butter. I ordered a kids chicken finger meal with Cesar salad. The chicken fingers were again, very cold. The lettuce from the salad was so rusty, I'm not even sure how it left the chicken. I also ordered a make your own combo with 2 items with the admirals shrimp and shrimp linguini. The shrimp again was super cold. The linguini was okay. However, nothing was very appetizing that I ended up not eating much. Submitted this same review through the Red Lobster website and I have yet to get a response. Super disappointed. I ordered through Skip the Dishes and the driver was very apologetic about the delay in delivery and I reassured him that I did realize it was Friday night during dinner. I wasn't expecting a fast delivery but I was expecting at least a quality meal. I realize the restaurant was busy but maybe they should limit takeout and delivery orders to make sure what goes out is at least of decent quality. And while I realize that I could just warm up my food in the microwave, the Cesar salad was the final straw and I had lost my appetite. This was an 80$ order that went down the toilet, literally.
Been years since I last ate at Red Lobster. Had the surf and turf and the waitress asked me to cut into my steak to make sure it was done to my liking; Ive never been asked at any other restaurant, thank you for that pleasant surprise. Restaurant was busy but youd never know from the excellent service; the sauce on the stuffed mushrooms was still boiling when it got the the table. Whole meal was great

Ordered family feast dinner which weve done in the past! Price went up and portions went down. We got 15 garlic shrimp 7 Walts favourite and about 15 small shrimp in our small linguine there was about 30 noodles and barely any sauce. Mashed for two and about 12 green beans. Very disappointed

I ordered Shrimp Alfredo Linguine Pasta on phone and confirmed if it s grilled Shrimp. Upon reaching to pick up the order, I got pasta with boiled shrimp. Manager was nice to replace it with grilled shrimp, but used the same to go container. On my way, all the sauce from my he container came out, as they did not close the plastic to go container properly and sauce spilled in the car, (which was not even mine) over my clothes. Bad experience on very first purchase with such recognized chain.

Good sea food
Lastnight we recieved impeccable service from the waitress at Red Lobster. This server was a gem of a host, and made us feel so welcome, and comfortable at the establishment. She was super nice to my grumpy kids, and was patient with us cuz some of my family havent had crab legs before, so we took a long time to order, and a long time to eat. She was very informative about the menu options, and even showed us an easier way to eat the crab legs. Just amazing service! Unfortunately due to my mom brain, I didnt do the math right in my head, and may have undertipped her. I felt horrible once I realized but it was too late to turn around. Id like to apologize for that to the server, and chef because our service was spot on! You can tell this place has a good crew working here. Thank you so much for making our dining experience wonderful for our whole family. The reason why theres less stars on food is because portions are way too small. For example maybe two scoops of mashed potato, instead of one.
For what you pay for food its not worth it and little portion the pasta only had one little piece of lobster we got back to.our hotel room and still hungry will not eat here again

Always great at Red lobster. Told we had a 30 min wait. Delicious drinks to wait, and seated in just under 15 mins with our party of 7. Only down side was waitress was somewhat slow, but very polite, and the restaurant was absolutely freezing and I had to run to a neighbors to get a sweater for myself and out of town guest. It was a heat wave, so I guess if thats the only complaint you cant go wrong. Nancy the waitress, who is now a manager, since our daughter was a newborn, now 20, and everytime we go we ask for her if we can. She was absolutely wonderful as always. We have been coming to RL for our main restaurant to have a date night or bring guests. Overall Red Lobster is a great restaurant.
Dont give me clam chowder soup whose cream has broken and tell its the butter drizzles they now add. Gross, oily and unlike anything Ive ever seen.
I had fish tacos and they were ok and my friend had 3 shrimp choices and said it was good not great. Buns were of course spectacular.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal. Soooo delicious. However we had to wait 20 mins to be seated in a half empty restaurant as they were waiting for more servers to arrive at 6. We were first in cue but they seated a lot of people before us.
Walked in for lunch to what seemed like a deserted restaurant with a dilapidated lobster water tank containing small and non-appealing lobsters. Thankfully I was there for lunch as I wouldnt of had any of those lobsters especially at the price theyre asking for. So finally seated in a booth after being ask our choice and specifically noted a table please to which we took it upon ourselves to move to the nearest table. This was a smart move as we heard the staff arguing who was going to serve us now. We had the friendliest most attentive server that any restaurant would be honored to have working for them. Since this is a fish and seafood place and being that their fish and chips were the daily special, I went for that. It was my first time having fish and chips at that location so I really didnt pay much attention to the different taste that it had. It wasnt a bad one, just different. Only to find out later that night while being sick like nothing before and spending the entire night in the washroom coming out of both end violently did I realized what happened. It was easy to sort out as it was the only thing I had to eat all day. I also heard word that this location was struggling financially and could be on the verge of closing which would explain the appearance and experience endure during my last visit. So take the way you want but I dont think, actually I know I will not be returning there again regardless...
Honestly the food is pretty great here and the portions were fantastic. I just wish they didnt salt the food like they wanted to make you into a piece of preserved meat. 5 stars if you have a sodium deficiency.

Visited on April 20th, with 4 guests for reservations at 6pm. Server was nice but service was a bit slow. Brought appetizers without sharing plates, were brought over after halfway done. 3 orders of shrimp alfredo came, flavour was off from previous visits, sauce was watery and tails were still on all shrimps. Crab was ok but wasn t very hot. Disappointing visit overall and wouldn t recommend returning.
Owners, I really appreciate you reaching out to me. I m not someone who just visits Red-Lobster on occasion. I m a regular and I love Red lobster and looking for any reasons to visit you guys. Currently, I m visiting Sudbury for work purposes and was craving Red lobster. I hope you understand that team over at Sudbury is very ignorant and don t really understand guest service including the lady manager that was on duty that night. It is important for the team members and managers to understand guest service key points. I did visit the location again because I m there for another 2 weeks. I knew I cannot expect a big change on my recent visit but thank you again for compensating me for my horrible experience on my previous visit. To be honest your manager of this restaurant is out of focus and arrogant that s what I experienced on my second visit. Host and serves were very ignorant acting busy with only 3 tables in the dining area. Big chubby lady who packed my food like a garbage missed butter for lobster and bread and mash potato. Food was ok mash potato quality was barely nothing, bread was eatable but service and environment was completely Trash .
Went for supper with my parents & my kids. Service was perfect from start to finish. Didnt happen to catch our servers name but she was very good. Young girl with dark brown hair in a ponytail. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was very welcoming :)

Thursday night deal. Basically an ultimate feast, minus the crab legs but an additional lobster tail and scallops, an appetizer and one desert for 60$ or 65$ dollars. The scallops were very undercooked but they replaced them, so that was great. And we got to bring the undercooked ones home. Our waitress was sweet an informative. Food was very good and atmosphere was very nice

We had 2 orders of the fish and chips on Wednesday the 6th March 2024. Product was excellent. Batter was fresh and oil was not old. It showed in the food product. Great product for an enjoyable meal.
I took my 97 year old mother to dinner. She sang a song, I Belong to Glasgow. The manager bought our dinner. It was very touching and I will never forget this classy hospitality. Mom said, let s go back and sing again !
0/5 TERRIBLE experience out of many visits at a red lobster before (an my partner and I visit the Sudbury location often enough). We decided to go out yesterday evening (march 10th, 2024) Firstly, we ordered a lobster punch which was basically straight alcohol had no other taste what so ever. Ordered the New! Crab Queso dip , as a starter which came out at the same time as our crab legs which would have been fine, if it was hot . but it was barely lukewarm. I also wouldn t have considered it dip it was basically water and barely stuck to the chips. Then we found a rubber band in the crab which was excused with they kitchen boils them in the rubber bands so that s normal but it should have been removed before being served , we also ordered the garlic rub and for some reason it wasn t prepared properly and came on the side! Our AMAZING server then brought to us an additional dish of crab legs free of charge, but unfortunately it was even more over cooked then the first dish, it was so hard to even get out of the shell it took far to long, was barley worth the effort of eating it. Lastly I spoke to our server about the issue to wait about 25 minutes only to be told the management was far to busy to deal with the situation or even approach the table to apologize. (While the restaurant was nearing close and had maybe 5 tables left) Our server had removed the crab completely from the bill, which was very nice! But still EXTREMELY disappointed with the situation & over all experience!

We always go to Red Lobster every time we go to Sudbury. After the last two times were never going back. The other time the taste of the food wasnt worth the price and this time its the over priced SMALL portions. We will just go elsewhere next time.
First time in a Red Lobster and just happened to be in Sudbury for Christmas dinner. Dad reserved a table for dinner on Christmas Day, they were open and had a really good meal. Had the surf n turf and Dad had the salmon. Both were really good.

Always have great service at this restaurant. No tvs make for a nice dining experience. They offer a wide menu and carry some some of my favourites including the warm biscuits, popcorn shrimp, Cesar salad, scallops, escargot, etc. They have a lot of sides to choose from. Never had anything to complain about, been coming here many years now.

Went in as a group of 4, waitress made us feel unwelcome and that it was a chore to take our order, she was mumbling and when politely asked to repeat herself she was immediately cross. we ended up leaving before the drinks even arrived, not spending $100 a person to be treated as an inconvenience.
Loved the cod burger , not too keen on Caesar salad however. The waitress was amazing, helpful and courteous.
My hubby and I enjoyed lunch at Red Lobster today and it was awesome! The food was tasty and cooked to perfection and the young man who waited on us was top shelf! We will be back, about that there is no doubt! Sincerely, A Very Satisfied Customer
We love this location in Sudbury. The manager has always treated us like gold. Food is always excellent. Most of the wait staff are great, could come by more often to check on refills.
Wow , really tasty food, and the waitress was extremely nice. Last time I went here I was a bit disappointed because the waitress ,another one , she was really unpleasant, although food was just as tasty. I had left sad feeling the service had been bad. But Im happy to see she was the exception and not the rule. Ive been going here for past 6 years and she was the only rude one there . In general the service and food are amazing. I wont say the waitresses name who was rude , but I will say her name rhymes with bandy. So watch out for bandys, they are not so dandy.

If I could give less I would. Ordered take out yesterday night, ordered steak and lobster for myself and my partner ordered lobster, shrimp and crab legs, we also got a grilled chicken breast from the kids menu. My lobster was undercooked and tasted awful, my partners was also undercooked. My sons chicken breast was pink in the middle and inedible. I m thankful we have to cut his food up still or we may not have noticed. For such an expensive meal you would think they would take precautions to ensure their food is at least edible and of decent quality.

Our waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious. It was actually quieter than usual or at least than it ever has been any time I have gone. I liked that though. I found it to be a very pleasant outing.
Much more was expected from this $50 plate of food. Dry lobster, tiny amount of mashed potatoes and the most dry/ hard to chew rice I have ever had. The other thing ordered was the the shrimp special which was good, hence the 2 star rating.

Mouse alert We were here last night. We paid over 100 for our meal, including a 15$ tip. Right before paying, my fiance went to the washroom and as I was sitting there waiting for him to come back so we could pay, a mouse ran out, got scared, and veered back towards the corner of the restaurant. We told our waitress quietly, she said they had pest control a couple days prior but a 100$ for a meal and paying full price where mice are running around and no care of it is not proper and is gross. Wont be back!
Very long wait to be seated. Server was not attentive. No drink refills nor making sure everything was ok. Food however, was delicious. Lobster Fest never disappoints.
We ordered lobster tail a la carte. They were not lobster tales. They looked like two little shrimp scampi. Price per little 2 bit lobster $20.00. What a disgusting rip off. When we questioned the server she just said this is a franchise and we are not responsible for what we serve. I had a shrimp scewed and a scallop scewed and they were $20+ each. We will never go back, The C.E.0. Certainly would never eat there.

Poor customer service from one waitress. Yelling at us causing a scene. Said we couldnt share our food. Which wasnt an all u can eat item. She lied and said that the mgr is aware. We confronted the mgr and he said this waitress is totally in the wrong. Parking: No problem.

Today was my first time ever at a Red Lobster, it surpassed all my expectations. They greeted us warmly and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. Our waiter, Scott was fantastic. He gave excellent suggestions on choices of food and drink, he even brought over some wet naps and was kind, friendly and social. The food was excellent, the drinks were tasty. We got a Have a great night on the way out from the manager and the staff were smiling. I will definitely be going again. I, highly recommend this location. Excellent.

Love Red Lobster, this was the first time I went to the Sudbury location. The service was great, casual atmosphere and of course, delicious seafood! My friend and I both ordered the endless shrimp, my personal favourite is the grilled shrimp! You always get a basket of biscuits before your meal, warm and absolutely delicious!! I plan on going back on my next road trip! If youre going to be in the Sudbury area, I highly recommend this restaurant! Bon Appétit!!
Love Red Lobster!! This restaurant is located in Sudbury. My friend and I both ordered the endless shrimp, the grilled shrimp are my personal favourite! (Had a baked potato as my side) The biscuits you receive before the main course were warm, savory and absolutely delicious!! Our server was great, she came over to our table a couple of times to ask how we enjoyed our meal or if we would like another drink. (We wound up having two each!) If you are going to be in the Sudbury area and you like seafood, consider checking out Red Lobster! Hopefully your experience will be just as good as ours was.
If you want to taste the delicious lobster and shrimp, this is the best place for your evening.

Great customer service. Plenty of food to fill you up. Any errors mistakes were quickly recognized by the waitress and reimbursement was offered without asking for it. The birthday treat was humongous and shared by most. The amount of time spent was more than we wanted to spend bur it was a worthwhile and very good evening dinner.

I really love the historic photos of Sudbury on the wall. I also like that there arent any televisions on the walls. A nice change from a sports bar feel. Right now all you can eat shrimp is on. I love seafood.

Super dissapointed with tonights experience. We decided to do endless shrimp. When we recieved our food she was dissapointed in the pasta being kind of cold. By the time our server came back around there was no point in asking it to be warmed up because by the time we probably would have gotten it back would have been another eternity. The amount of times we probably seen our server was 3, while we saw the table infront of us have a server check up on them consistently. We decided to order another round of shrimp, mine took about 20 minutes to come out which would have been fine if it was actually cooked. It turned out to be raw. The server said sorry and that was about it. The only quick part was them giving us our bill. I dont think we will be returning. As someone who works in the industry I must say Im beyond dissapointed with the experience & lack of care.

I was a little hesitant about going here because Ive heard some bad stories about Red Lobster locations in the past. That being said this place outdid my expectations for any restaurant. Great food, amazing service by a server who was attentive but not annoying. Every bite of food was great and oh how I missed the cheddar bay biscuits. Great things to say all around!
The restaurant was not busy at all. We had booked for 15 a week in advance an they were not prepared at all. Brought out jugs of water with no drinking glasses, soup that was cold, not very organized.
Amazing place to dine at, Sat in a nice quiet area and services was on top of their game. Ordered there all you can eat shrimp and deluxe platter and the service was outstanding. One of the items on the meal were not as I stated and they automatically took action and apologized but the customer service was outstanding. The manager even came I did not expect such great customer service for a small mistake. They took care of my party amazingly and just showed outstanding performance. The waitress was just so caring and shocked me with how customer service should be done. I highly recommend this place as the food was done amazingly from the steak to shrimp to even the dessert I was given. Simply divine 5 star manager 5 star waitress 5 star resturant. I was surprised to see no vegetables with the meal. Use to have a potato and a vegetable with the meat. It was certainly unexpected for a better quality restaurant. Server was excellent!

It was busy must have been a dinner rush. There was a dirty table beside us full of dishes and they just left it there and only came right before we left to start cleaning. The booths are a little small not so easy getting in and out and even then ur definitely going to play footsies unintentionally under the table. Our server was so quick to leave it was hard to tell her anything or ask for things . Service super slow.
