My thai palace south end offers authentic thai cuisine for dine in, take out and delivery.
Had the coconut soup with tofu, portion and soup were fantastic. The padthai was good, and the peanut curry (panang) was also tasty with chunk of crushed peanuts throughout.
Very bad place to have food . U will just get food poisoning after coming here I just had there pad Thai which leads me to diarrhea and food poisoning please don't go
A great place for amazing Asian food variety. Good service and food. Very satisfied.
I tried to order online but it didn’t work. I called to place an order and specified I will be there after 1 hour. When I reached there, I found out my order wasn’t ready as they didn’t receive it!. I was told to wait 5 minutes I waited 15”. The food was ok but the quantity was so small! They didn’t honour their promotion adv they claimed that was for online orders… I am very disappointed this time as I tried this restaurant in a different location and I was please with the food and the quantity..
Hands down the best restaurant in Sudbury. I lived of their meals/lunch specials while in school. Thank you for providing healing comfort food, to get me through the viciously cold Sudbury days during my school years. Chicken Satay, Tom Yum soup and mango salad were my go-to. It remains a staple when I visit. ❤️
Tried the Thai basil rice with beef as this is one of my favourite Thai dishes. Decent portion size of food but the dish was just ok in terms of taste, it didn’t stand out. Very little spice and not a ton of basil flavour or beef.
First time visiting this restaurant, it seems they have combined with Rose Apple Sushi store, but also offering Thai food at the same time with slightly different menus. My gf enjoys her lemongrass soup, flavorful and appetizing. We order lunch special for Pad Thai, green curry rice and both come with soup and free spring roll. Also order calamari. Waitress is friendly, we enjoy the food and vibe. Just that the food portion isn’t too great for the price you paid for.
Restaurant was surprisingly good. The storefront is outdated and can be intimidating when walking in because of the hidden location, but I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls to start and they were delicious! Then I had the veggie pad Thai dish and it was great! It came with tofu for protein. The presentation of the plate was nice. My coworker ordered the wonton soup, he said it was alright. It was a large serving. The prices for the food was good! The waitress who served us was very nice! Great little place to go for a quick meal! I would just like to mention that it is sort of like a 2 in 1 restaurant. The other side of the restaurant is a fish/seafood place. I sat on the Thai food side. There is a small restroom on the other side & I would not reccomend using it, as it is small and very out dated. The door was left wide open and while using the restroom I could hear customers talking, which was very strange to me. It is located behind an oil change place and next to an MMA gym so the location is a bit odd. Those are just my observations. But as mentioned above, the food was great.
I got food poisoning from their chicken fried rice yesterday...://
The food was amazing, but the sauces stole the show. Ive never had such amazing sauces, so light and tasty unexpectedly awesome!
Great Pho option with build your own noodle soup
Ordered through skip the dishes. It was terribly bland and zero flavour. For the price it was extremely small portions. Sad. Notre dame is better.
My favourite Thai food ever, delicious! Whenever I get a craving it s for their chicken pad Thai. The best deals are the lunch special and dinner special. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven t before!
Ordered delivery! Order came quickly and was hot and delicious. Everything was correct as ordered.
The most basic and bland Thai food one can imagine. No problems with the order, simply terrible food.
First time ordering from here. Crab rangoon appetizer was delicious, such a great flavor combo. Highly recommend trying this app out. Good food for a fair price.
Always tasty; we have tried many items but the Pad Thai, Thai Iced Tea, and Crab Rangoons are undefeated. Discount if you order take-out from website.
This was our first time visiting Sudbury from the states and we decided to pick-up a large order of Thai food. The food was all correct per our online order and they offered us a 10% off coupon for ordering online. Highlights were all of the appetizers including vegetable tempura, chicken satay, edamame, crab Rangoon, gyoza, and fried tofu. Entrees were a huge highlight and we loved the pad thai, pad see ew, and cashew curry. Highly recommend!
Fried rice with pineapple and shrimp is so delicious. Appetizers are also really delicious.
You will be so happy you tried ( My Thai Palace )
Very misleading menu on skip the dishes
Ordered green curry from skip the dishes and it came without rice.. and no options for rice.. also the pad Thai is the worst I ever had. Very disappointed
I have celiac disease and this is one of the few restaurants that I can eat at without getting sick at all. The food is always fresh, piping hot, and handled with care. Also always hits the spot. So yummy.
After driving to the old address (you think theyd be telling everyone who calls that they have moved) I found the new place to pick up my order and return to my hotel, which I generally do. I have gone to My Thai for years and have enjoyed the Pad Thai dinner special. This time it was tremendously mediocre and almost tasteless. Maybe growing pains with the change; or maybe not.
One of the worst thai foods Ive ever had. Tried twice a few years appart and everything was just as bad as the first time. If you want good thai food go to Ottawa or Montreal.
I got delivery so this may not reflect your in house experience. I got the spicy Thai Noodles, and there were very few noodles, and it was very watery. I was rather disappointed. The salad rolls too were not worth the $10 for the 2 rolls of 3 pieces I got. It wasnt bad, just underwhelming
Very nice and friendly staff but food is not great.
Love the food!!
Disappointing. Have enjoyed food here before but this evening watery sauce and generally bland and tasteless (including salad rolls, veggie pad Thai, veggie spicy curry & chicken golden curry)
I ordered takeout pad Thai and fried rice. Taste nothing. I wonder if they forgot seasoning.
Ordered pad Thai for the first time in two years. I was so looking forward to eating it. What a letdown!!!! Overcooked mushy noodles, veggies...what little there was even though I paid for extra...tasteless except for the overwhelming sweetness. Barely ate any of it and into the trash it goes! Waited this long to order from there...will not order from there again!
Ordered phad Thai and curry phad Thai dinner specials last night and was extremely disappointed. The only good thing was the crab Rangoon and spring roll it came with, but the main course was off. If I was in the restaurant I would have sent it back. If you re ordering from here thinking it will be just like my Thai palace, I would recommend against it.
Amazing, fresh thai food right here in Sudbury. I highly recommend their pad thai, chicken satay, and you can never go wrong with a fresh mango salad! Any dinner special is a slam dunk, with a spring roll, soup, crab rangoon and entree, leftover are sure to be delicious the next day too. I try to support by ordering directly with the restaurant rather than using a third party delivery service.
Great asian food and good customer service.
Such fast service, great food. Never disappointed.
This place has some really friendly service. I ordered the Beef Pad see you and I subbed out the Chinese broccoli for the regular kind. The portion was big enough to make 2 meals.
Very clean and our waitress gave us excellent service It was a very enjoyable dinner Thank you very much
Rock hard reheated fries. Fish was good but fries were inedible.
Spicy Thai noodles did not live up to its name. No spice whatsoever; I had to add sriracha. And the sauce was brown and almost tasted beef-like. I do have to tip my hat to the ingenious way to package the spring rolls for take out; they stayed crispy! If you want to eat actual good food, try the My Thai Palace in North Bay. Now that is amazing food! This particular dish at that location has a light coloured sauce and plenty of spice. And the sauce is pleasantly seasoned unlike the drivel here in Sudbury. Do not understand for the life of me how 2 different restaurants in the same restaurant family can make such vastly different product.
Fast, got us back on the road with smiles and happy bellies!
Tasty food
Avoid the Thai portion on the menu at this restaurant. The Thai Spicy Noodles with chicken and shrimp were the worst Ive ever seen. A frozen boxed meal from a grocery store would be way better quality than this. Will not be returning again to this restaurant suggest avoiding it and going to a different restaurant.
Awesome taste . We love their Cashew nut Tofu , Friendly Staff and amazing People.
Love this restaurant! The price is right for the amount of food you get and the quality is amazing! I highly recommend the Crab Rangoon and Pad Thai :)
Great food but small portions compared to other Asian restaurants.
Good
Staff is great
My family and once again went out out for supper at My Thai Palace and the food was excellent. Even though the place was very busy, our server was very on top of things. I recommend the spicy tofu and the fresh vegetable rolls. Had the green curry and remembered to order rice this time. It was an excellent choice for a cold day!
The best Thai food I have ever had I think. Oh my goodness so so good. The glass noodles were amazing, the spring rolls - oh my goodness. I will be back!!!!
Best Thai food in Sudbury!
The best sweet and sour soup I ever had! The food was really good and great value. I got the lunch combo with green curry. It was tasty, and the spring roll and soup made it a filling meal. The server was very nice and attentive. I dont think it was authentic by any means but tasted great so who cares?
Food was gross
Great fish and chips!
Great food, super nice people. They even brought my food out to the car.
Decided to try something Different and chose to try Thai and I would have to say I was Impressed and the food and Service was EXCELLENT
Love My Thai Palace!!
Always consistently delicious. I love the pumpkin soup.
Awesome restaurant! Delicious dishes. Wish it has more vegetarian choices.
Friendly service and very knowledgeable about vegan and gluten free diets.
My husband and loves the glass noodles!
Great foods and flavours, on point with the flavours off Thai foods.. the restaurant can use a little make over and a bit confused if it wanted to be a Thai or a fish and chip restaurant. The door to the restaurant was a bit confusing but it open to both restaurant.. I would definitely come back again for the foods if I come up to Sudbury. A hidden gem in Sudbury..
Not very flavourful but good service
Awesome food inexpensive
Last time I was in Sudbury Ive tried their Pad Thai and today Basil Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) both delicious, great flavours and decent portions.
Last went for lunch there about 2 months ago. I always take the L6 platter. Love it. Good food. Great price. Great service.
Very good food
Tom Yum soup was good. Not too spicy, not too salty. Seasoned well. Big chunks of chicken and slices of onion in it along with some mushrooms. The bad thing about this soup was that there was big slices of ginger in it, and slices of lemongrass (you cant eat this unless you are a horse). Spring roll was completely noodles. No vegetables in it at all. It was fried nicely, however there was no substance to it. Chicken Pad Thai was ultra salty. So salty that it was almost unedible. There was way too much sauce in it. Serving size was sufficient for a lunch portion. The only reason I didnt send back the noodles is because I was hungry and needed to get back to work.
Love the food and service here.. everything is authentic and so fresh and flavorful!
I bought the soup there and it was correct taste good. But you have to known it is small soup not the big one.
Yep I liked it. Green curry chicken dish was my order.
Lunch special Chicken Basil $12 + soup, Hot and Sour, and a vegetarian spring roll with a sweet sauce made in the kitchen. There are close to a dozen lunch specials all the same price. I remember Beef Basil with Jasmine rice and Chicken Pad Thai, theres one daily special, today it was Chicken Basil. Soup is a soup of the day, Hot and Sour was todays. Lunch is 11-3. Its buried in a Four Corners mall between Regent and Long Lake so use your GPS. Coming into town along Long Lake road its on the left. I asked for extra pepper and they did a nice job just hot enough to make my mouth tingle. Great lunch!
Very disappointed, I expected to have my order and within the first hour.... Sadly they will pay more attention and care of the take out orders instead of serving the people sitting in the restaurant.. We could see they obviously need more waitresses especially on a Saturday at 330pm.. Since they looked overwhelmed and forgot alot of my order.... Unfortunately I dont think I will be returning
Love, love, love their basil beef. Friendly staff. Much nicer inside than it is on the outside.
I went for the lunch special after seeing so many good reviews but this place was hardly even mediocre. The spring roll was just noodles and a single piece of cabbage, it was fried nicely but it had no flavour. The Hot and Sour soup was really good though, I definitely enjoyed that. The main part of my meal was the chicken pad thai and it was the most dissapointing part. It just tasted off... I couldnt put my finger on it exactly. Overall it was mostly a dissapointing visit.
Awesome place
We came here for lunch and the food was not good. I do not recommend.
Quaint little place tucked away behind the grocery stores and pharmacy. Try their the pad Thai! Or just grab a cup of tea. :-)
Really tasty thai food in an uninspired decor
Ordered the crab rangoon as an appetizer and then the peanut curry and a side of rice as the main. It was delicious. I highly recommend this dish.
God place for Asian cuisine
Food tasted ok .. decent portion for the price .. sea food was over cooked and rubbery .. noodles were all stuck together .. so 3 stars tops on this visit
Wasnt my most favourite place
Literally cant stop thinking about the peanut panang beef curry.
Great interior!! Amazing soups
Good service, friendly, great food.
Excellent Thai food.
Ive been coming here for years with my family and now I come here with my roommates! Thanks Anke and Tonys!
Food good and friendly.
We simply love My Thai Palace. The food is always excellent and the service so friendly. Plus at the Long Lake location, folks can get seafood and other offerings too. Tara is simply an amazing server!
So disappointed. I will not go back. I ordered the chicken satay lunch special and they pretty much have me mango rice soup (literally. Yes I took photos) on my plate. Before I got my main plate, waitress dropped my spring rolls on the floor - yes I got new ones but that was probably the only good thing about the experience. I asked about a drink on the menu and instead of being told what it was, all I got was its gross, dont get it. Then when I got my water, it came with flakes of paper in the cup. Like come on, guys. Im not someone who complains about food at restaurants as I was a food service worker myself and still work customer service and know it sucks getting customers who complain but it wasnt good service at all. Theres a reason the one on Notre Dame is busy. If you want Thai food, save yourself the trip and go to the Notre Dame location. The food at this one here is garbage.
Food was okay, got the platter, tom yum soup and pad thai. Both were average tasting. What annoyed me was that I ordered take out and wasnt given utensils. I didnt find out until after I returned home and had to make an extra trip just to get utensil because you guys didnt include them. Seriously?!
Went there Tekenburger for Fish & chips
Expensive but excellent.
One of my favourite restaurants!
Great lunch!
Always tasty and if you are not into curries there is always great fish and chips!!
Food was mediocre and so was the service.
Great food. Nice environment. Reasonable prices. Good service. Will go again.
This is one of our favourites. The best Thai food in Sudbury! I often have the Pad Thai, even though I want to try other items on the menu, the Pad Thai is so good that I just order it. The staff is really great too!
Fantastic Thai food in Sudbury. Recommend the Thai iced tea and the curries.
Great Service good food
Great food
One of my favourite restaurants in Sudbury. There is also a seafood menu. Excellent red curry and the crab Rangoon is delicious.
No complaints.... great food... great staff!
Good food always tastes better with a nautical theme. Love their peanut curry.
Excellent Thai food and service. A gem in Sudbury
Twinned with Anke and Tonis Fish and Chips which is what we usually have but both are excellent. Pleasant staff
Fresh food prepared with care, good service
Waitress was nice. Service was slow. Food was just ok.
Great Food and a Pleasant Atmosphere.
One of two locations in Sudbury, friendly staff and great food keep me coming back. I especially enjoy the Peanut Curry for the spice!
It was alright
Always good deals, clean store.
Awesome!
Incredible food. Had the lunch special, great value and filling. The Tom Yum soup was the perfect balance of flavours. Definitely will come back.
Great authentic Thai food! Must try: Basil Noodle, Crab Rangoon, Coco Nut Ice Cream, Thai Iced Tea
Great Thai food . Their chicken pad Thai is amazing !
Great
Awesome soup and lunch. The service was super.
Great food
Was fine food
Food is always incredible, satisfying and great value for your money. Its nice to have some Thai flavor in a city where sports bars and the odd Italian or Greek restaurant is the staple. Oh, and I probably ate my weight in lemongrass soup while I was pregnant. Hey, baby wanted it!
great food and service every time!
