Cozy pub, lots of funny pictures of cats. Didnt drink anything myself, but the group I was with were satisfied.

Went here today with my friend for birthday cocktails, had a lovely afternoon. The bar staff were friendly and chatty. Will definitely be returning.

Dont tell anyone. I think the Curious Cat is fantastic. Boutique style restaurant, nice and cosy. Great staff and the food is excellent.

Evening meal her midweek on Wednesday , staff were very efficient and attentive .one fish and chips , 1 oriental pork Chop, 1 Lemon Chicken and 1 salmon , all meals were cooked to our liking altho the lemon chicken was not very hot , otherwise a nice meal

Lovely food. My wife had halloumi kebab which had massive chunks of halloumi and to die for fresh home cooked chips. Burger was delicious too. Would definitely return Food

Great cocktail bar in town.just had one drink though .although it was a nice cocktail,I think £9 is expensive for a town. When other cocktail bars are doing offers like 2 for £12(like blonde toast)in cleethorpes for example. Service

Lovely staff lovely food and good drinks

The atmosphere is fantastic, we loved the mock tails and food. The reason we have removed two stars is down to our waitress, we didnt catch her name shes small in height and has a mole/beauty spot on her cheek. She was nice at the start, but at the end she was condescending towards me and my daughter, she rolled her eyes, was rude and abrupt, came across extremely arrogant and her mask slipped. Its a shame she has let the place down with her poor attitude and lack of customer service skills, I believe people with an over inflated ego should avoid a customer based career as it can put others off coming back.

Called in for drinks. Unbooked. So directed to two arm chairs. Not the most friendly welcome. Arm chairs looked half eaten. First thing that greats you.. a beaten up picked at armchair! Sat down.. looked at menu for drinks.. and got covered in filthy, sticky food and drinks on the menu and table. Complained.. and was told they would be over soon to clean it. At that point we left and enjoyed a clean, fun night in Old Lloyds. Sadly... wont bother going here anymore. Use to be a regular too.

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered vegetarian food but I got meat food, and the last thing that makes this the worst experience is that I have been charged for the wrong food as well, and they dont even know to remove the dish. even I dont receive complimentary food or even a price discount.

The food here is great (I absolutely recommend the burgers out of anything) and they offer an excellent selection of mocktails and cocktails! Even though I only really prefer a coke zero, I couldnt see anyone going wrong in coming here!

Was told we cannot sit on big sofas as they were reserved nobody turned up at all in the time we was there for 4 cocktail. One of which was a dirty martini and it was the worse drink Ive ever been given. The staff seemed mildly cocky I didnt like the atmosphere and the drinks well over priced . I didnt eat food.

Nice decor but not very attentive staff, felt a bit like an inconvenience to the waiter, the man behind behind the bar making the cocktail was more pleasant though. Food was ok but deep fried. Guess its ok if your town doesnt have many restaurants to choose from but personally disappointed. To be honest the waiter was great to other tables but as they were all young pretty blonds felt I should have rang daughter to join us might have been more attentive! The drinks all came at different times, no cutlery for main course and main was missing bits from the course, No water on table and not even how is everything guys can I get you more drinks ect very poor service We spent £190 on 4 people but wouldnt say it was worth it! We left a £18 tip as our son didnt want to be embarrassed by not doing so but no thank you.. was quite a rude atmosphere to be honest shame!

Ahhh love this place. Atmosphere is always cozy and friendly. Nice clientele here too. Range of cocktails are banging. No its not cheap here but definitely worth paying a little extra so ultimately it is value for your money. In the evening there is a carpark behind Abbeygate that you can use for free so its only a minutes walk away. Nice staff, nice atmosphere. Well worth a visit

A very VERY beautiful bar and restaurant with a wonderful and unique atmosphere. It is loud but I think that adds to it honestly. Toilets are clean, food was AMAZING and DELICIOUS. I will go again Parking: Parking spots near bye within 5 minutes walk Kid-friendliness: Not very kid -friendly as there isnt many kid meals however it is a bar

Very nice place for cocktails and food. The staff are very polite and professional. The cocktails are very good with a great selection. There is a shuffle board upstairs, too. There is a more formal dress code, so dont rock up in your trackies.

Took over an hour to get a drinks order, had to ask multiple times for service when it should of been natural, Had a drink smashed and spilt all over one of us, was given complimentary drinks but the glass had a piece missing and cut there lip, food was mid, diddnt have most food items we asked for

Was quite disappointed, usually love coming here aswell. Booked for food and drinks but when we turned up for our booking was told we couldn t be served food as they are too busy in the kitchen, and was told to sit by the window as there was no food tables available, even though we had booked. Was waiting a long time for drinks and seemed like an inconvenience to staff. Shame as usually have a nice time here.cocktails were lovely just a shame about everything else

We have visited the bar a couple of times now for drinks and unfortunately have found the place disappointing. On the plus side, the decor is lovely, music good but the service isnt very good and I had the worst cocktail I have ever had. (Cosmopolitan with an air bubble). As the bar largely promotes cocktails it maybe a good idea to train staff to make them to a good standard? Not sure if I will return..........

Atmosphere is something completely different, decor as remarkable as the service, been going here since it opened, glad to see it survived covid, this place is a notch above the rest in this town and the food is out if this world.

Very disappointing, had table booked for 6.45 arrived half hour early, were placed at the table in the window until out table became available, unfortunately they forgot about us and we no longer had a table and were directed to Pal, not my choice although the staff were amazing.

Without a doubt the nicest bar in town. We popped in for a late lunch and were tempted into more than one cocktail as they are just that good. The food was excellent too - I ve already booked a return visit!

From start to finish, great place to go. Vast array of cocktails to choose from, many items on the menu, even with the reduced covid menu! We opted for the deli boards so we could have a good mixture, and we were not disappointed. It was amazing! The service was quick, the staff were great, very polite and helpful, the atmosphere was good, even with the covid precautions! They give you an hour and half slot, but that was plenty of time, didnt feel rushed Got! Got a bit warm, but they put the air con on which soon sorted that! Looking forward to going back to try the Sunday afternoon tea menu!

Great little gem in the middle of grim Grimsby. Cocktails were mediocre but food was yummy, lovely little salad with Stilton and walnuts. Friend had some halloumi fries and they were good.

Went in for drinks only on a Friday evening. Still working to covid rules but didnt need to wear a mask. Cocktails was great and staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Looking forward to going back for food

Second to none IMHO in Grimsby, nicely sophisticated without any hairs and graces, a place for good behaviour and impeccable manners and theyll serve you all day with a a warm smile and welcome..WARNING.do your shopping first, as its within reach of hiugher end shops :) Always drop in for a higher quality glass when Im passing.

Fantastic service, we had a large group come in for afternoon tea to celebrate an upcoming wedding and these guys were absolutely amazing, went above and beyond with their service and made it a really special night for the bride to be. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a great night! Would definatly recommend!

Need to book in advance, no good going at short notice as it seems impossible to get in. Unless you only want a drink then they seem quite happy to accommodate you.

Such an awesome venue which offers an amazing variety of drinks! Unfortunately we didnt get chance to sample the food this time, but we will DEFINITELY be returning soon to do so!

Food was OK! Had the deli platter, if you like all your dishes deep fried then you will love this. Everything was brown, the bread was hard. Ordered onion rings with my meal and didnt receive them. The bacon fried where ok. It gets a 3 stars because the cocktails are excellent everyone was on point with flavour and presentation

What can I say! We have always loved the curious cat , the cocktails, food and service have always been amazing and they have done it again ! Its fair to say the collection service was awesome and well worth a look. The food was hot, tasty and just as good as in the restaurant and the cocktails well they need no introduction .
