My food got delivered was really good and i just found a hair in my chips absolutely disgusting sort it out

Seen how they treated staff and it was absolutely appalling. Some staff member also commenting about customers when they was right there and underpaying staff for their hard work and then talking amongst the staff about other members of staff. Will not be going back there not a very nice environment.

Such a shame used to get food regularly from here, rang and told them was not happy with the last order, gave it the benefit of the doubt and orderer again, big mistake food was awful and the portion size was so small, not that it mattered on this occasion it went in the bin :( it used to be so good as well. Can certainly tell its under my new management. When the food arrived and it was not good. I did call you and I was told you was busy to send a replacement would be around midnight. I called up with a promise of the next order being discounted and a free bottle of pop which you did not send. There was no lack of communication on my part.

Took 2 hours to come and its stone cold and missing items. Cold chips isnt nice cold pizza and nobody like cold kabab meat

Pizza was lovely, but I have to say i was really disappointed that the saute potatoes were not of the standard definition. It was like undercooked mash with cheese on top. It arrived in decent time and was warm though.

Food was good service could do with a overhaul staff slow and it wasnt busy only one other table in there

Picked order up got home order was wrong waited nearly an hour for correct platter there mistake should have prioritised this rung back was told 5 minutes took another 20 minutes to come replacement platter was burnt coleslaw was hot used this place for years wont use anymore

Excellent food. Big portions. Visited here 3 weeks ago, paid 10.50 for my meal. Yesterday paid 15.00 for the same meal. An Increase of almost 50 percent.

Food was good in a nice setting. A license to sell alcohol would be a step in the right direction but you are permitted to take your own alcohol. However, soft drinks have to be purchased on site.

Slow service, waited nearly 2 hours for a pizza! When it arrived it was very greasy.

Absolute joke Waited for up to two hours for the food to arrive at our house and by the time it came, it really didnt feel worth the wait. 2 hours for a pizza, two portions of chips and a donner kebab wrap WITHOUT a free garlic bread that usually comes free anyway! Not even to make up for the wait! Im not one to complain about restaurants, as Ive worked in the hospitality industry myself and I know how hard it can be, but Ive never had to wait or make someone wait that long for something so little before. If you want decent food quickly, I would not recommend.

Distgusting service. Food ordered around 6.30pm, 2 kebabs and one or two sides. 9.45pm food finally arrives following a call to the restaurant at 8.30pm and advised food was only just being prepared. If youre too busy for the order then dont accept the order. I couldve spent that money somewhere that respects their customers. Food arrived cold, kebabs dry, chips sweaty, sides lukewarm. No apology, no effort to contact us. I remember this restaurant was one of the best in town years ago. Not any more. Disgraceful. No respect for customers or apparebtly for themselves.

The ONLY time you should ever eat or order a takeaway from this place is if you are blind drunk or you dont mind luke warm, messy and bland food. The pizza toppings generally resemble something that looks like it has been swept off the floor and garnished by someone wearing a blindfold & an oven glove and the chips are usually soggy, cold and void of colour. No point complaining either as your words will fall on deaf ears from an owner who I am guessing didnt graduate charm school and foolishly still believes his food is decent

10 of us went for friends 70th birthday last night, food was excellent and hot, staff lovely. Will be going again

Absolute bargain (under £10 for pizza platter and a coke) and food was good quality also. Not many in the restaurant so only waited about 10 minutes for it to arrive. Clean tidy and nice staff.

Pre ordered on gy and clee app at 2.15 pm for a delivery between 9.30 -9.50pm plenty of notice!!!!!. had to phone up at 10.15 as not arrived turned up at 10.40 chicken kebabs and pizza platter.meal was discusting full of salt to hide the taste all went in the bin. First and last order from here not recommended !!!!!!

Ordered chicken kebab, which was drier than a nuns Clunge! Also ordered plain garlic bread which came with cheese! Kids seemed to enjoy their pizza, although my kids would eat a scabby horse if hungry enough. Overall not great!

Dined in with my friends for my birthday and despite the restaurant being understaffed, the servers, chefs and manager all came together to deliver a wonderful experience. The service was pristine, the food absolutely delicious and brought to our table very quickly. Will always recommend Caspers to anyone I know!

I absolutely recommend this restaurant. We have NEVER had a disappointing meal here! The staff are friendly, the food is great, and the portion sizes are very good.

Will never use again. Ordered via uber eats at 17.25,meant to be delivered between 18.30 and 18.40. No sign,so rung up at 18.50 to be told it was being packed,30 minutes later still no sign. Finally arrived after 2 hours,bearing in mind,we live close by. Could of been redeemed if the food was good but sadly no. Pizzas cold,not cut properly and overcooked,chips cold,potato skins(only 4) cold. Wish i had looked at reviews first!! Pity you have to give 1 star

Ordered through food hub at half past 4, quarter to 6 my food still hadnt arrived, so I rang only to be told I pre ordered for 18.05 which is utter nonsense, half past 6 my food still hadnt arrived, so I rang yet again to be told its because I pre ordered for 18.05 to which my reply was well if that was true which it isnt its now half past 6! I was told my food is leaving now with the driver but he has 4 more drops to do beforehand! Food turned up freezing cold and was disgusting, bit of advice guys do not order from this place £22 wasted!

It was a while back I went to it, Italian restaurant with Asians style. Great taste authethentic to the culture of the restaurant capers from casperian era styles in pizza dough and culinaries. Regular going out to pub culture, to since it opened on nights out. And also for a sit down meal. Really nice! Staff friendly helpful with menu out for takeaway food and drinks.

Ordered sautéed potatoes tonight very horrible it was just a load of cheese and garlic sauce with a few sliced potatoes very disappointing

Quite frankly, the food was absolutely delightful. I took my girlfriend here just for a quick, cheap and cheerful tea and it was sublime. The garlic bread with cheese was outstanding and without a shadow of doubt up there with the best in the area. The main courses was also superb and well lets just say, the garlic bread with cheese wasnt the only slice I got after this.

Food turned up stone cold, chips was absolutely disgusting. Even the dogs turned their noses up to them! The salad was rank! Never again!

I normally like caspers although its been a while since I ordered but today my chicken kebab tastes like a dirty grill with black gritty bits all over chicken. I cannot eat it

Ordered via Uber Eats, given a delivery time of one hour. Two hours, twenty minutes and several phone calls later they tell us they will start cooking it now. ETA forty minutes. Three hours to have a kebab delivered? Ended up picking it up instead... Disgusting service.

i had an order from here and i did not ask for chips with my kebab but got some anyway. my delivery was 30 minutes late. the food quality was better than the local competitor. i can get chilli cheese bites here (which not many places in Grimsby do). i asked for ice cream but they were out of ice cream so offered me a chocolate fudge cake at no extra cost. the kebab was the right size (not too small, not too big)

Very fast turn round time in a quiet evening. Friendly staff. Good for families or group bookings. Enjoyed the food, it was fresh and flavoursome.

Please re-invent your Lasagna recipe. Very greasy and no hint of tomato.

I ordered saute potato it didnt smell nice so i peeled off the cheese and I couldnt believe it .. I tasted it and it smelt very chemically and brown definitely Off shocked as its always been nice .

Ordered online. Food was meant to arrive after an hour and 10 mins. It didn t. When I phoned the customer service was shocking. Took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Receptionist just said it was busy at the weekend and that is the way it is if you order online. I suggested popping a couple of free cans of pop in to appease the situation. Was told no and it would have to be 2 hours before they did that. Ordered food at 7.20 - it arrived after 9! Would never order from here again and will pass on to all who I know.

Ordered from Uber eats at 18:10. When I rang the first time at 19:25 they said it was just being cooked. My estimated delivery time was between 19:10 and 19:30. Rang back at 19:45 and they said it was just coming out the kitchen and would be another 15 or 29 minutes. They used the excuse that they were very busy. Not really bothered how busy they are I placed an order and expect it to be delivered when they say and not be fobbed off. Will definitely not use caspers again. If you don t mind waiting 2 hours for you food then fill your boots. Finally arrived at 20:10. Absolutely shocking service wouldn t use this restaurant ever again and the food not good either

We have waited two and a half hours so far for a take out delivery. Ive called them the excuse is they are busy with eat out to help out not good enough wont be using them again. If they are so busy, then put more staff on. Thats what happens where I work.

Pre ordered a delivery for 7 to 7.30,eventually arrived at 8.15 after calling to see where my order was, was told chef just finishing cooking it,eventually arrived and pitta bread missing for the kebab, stone cold and food all dry, most of it went in the bin hence wont be ordering from them again.

Will not order from here again poor customer service rude staff on the phone, been waiting 1 hour to ring back to be told an other 30 minutes to ring back after 45 to be told they dont know how long, Fuming with the poor customer service this company has for its customers especially as we are eat here a lot very disappointed

2 and a half hour wait for order placed with Uber eats when the app states time was 35mins - 1hr, this is the 3rd time theyve taken over 2hrs to deliver so will not use them again. Called up was basically told it would get here when it gets here as theyre busy.

Never will i order from here again been waiting 2 hours rung up to ask when food will be coming got told on its way another half hour goes and still no food rung back to be told food been delivered when it hasnt then the staff member says sorry we havent got a order for you even tho we got told food out for delivery we have paid so asked for a refund got told we got to do it online but the website not working so rung back and now phone is off i will keep ringing till we get are money back but we will never use caspers again shocking.

Lovely place and friendly staff

Chicken in veggie pasta but this was amended before it was too late. The starter was strange, but edible. The main had no flavour and was returned to the kitchen. Price of main was deducted from final bill, but a ready meal has more flavour.

Absolutely delicious pizza. The meal deals were brilliant value for money. The only issue was the quality of the chips on the pizza platter, next time I would go for the full pizza instead.

Still one of the best value for money restaurants the area, friendly staff, great service. No bar but take your own beer or wine for which there are no corkage charges. Booking advisable at weekends.

Been a couple of times had the lasagne and garlic mushrooms and it was delicious im currently sat waiting for it to open so i can order for home delivery

Shocking.. just ordered me and my wifes food.. got a burger that was 2 burgers cheese mushrooms donner meat onions etc.. where is the donner meat NOWHERE!!!!! Everything was very soggy ... took a bite.. tasted off.. threw it away THE CHIPS.. tasted like they had been sat for ages and warmed up.. had a bite threw them out.. .. horrible.. the garlic bread was stone cold.... Thats twice in a row now...never a 3rd... horrible food

Just finished a meal here and the service matched the food - really impressed. Dont fall into the trap I did and order too much. And if you do, dont fall into the same trap and eat the lot. Overall, really impressed.

Waited an hour for order to come to table, when it did It was it was not of a standard acceptable even though expectations were now low following the wait . Decided the uncooked lamb wouldnt be safe to eat, pizza dough was similarly not cooked, any hope of a meal ruined beyond the chips seemed ok but wed not be staying so before leaving spoke to the manager. Far from any sympathy he became immediately angry which meant any we had left for him evaporated when he resorted to swearing at us. We left him a tenner that would have covered his costs but a tenner more than it was worth. Staff were nice, manager needs to at least question his business acumen as his poor attitude saw customers turning around and leaving as they entered and witnessed the appalling attitude he displayed unashamedly. Manager much more disgusting than the uncooked food could ever be.

Brilliant value for great Italian food

Great calzones and chicken kebabs, great price. Nice restaurant and friendly staff. The burgers are poor though, like something youd buy from a festival burger van or kebab shop.

I spent last night with 10 guests for my sons 21st, 01-06-13. Wed never been to Caspers so thought would give it a try being local to town for convenience. This was a huge mistake! Tables were not set with enough cutlery even though we had booked the table and not just turned up off the cuff. We had to go to the reception area/til desk to let them know we were ready to order after being in the building for more than half an hour. After ordering we then had to wait for well over an hour for our food to be delivered to the table and yet take away orders were flying out of the door one after the other to the point that they were stacking up on the desk and no delivery driver there to take them. Once the meals arrived at the table, i had the lasagne, this was dry and had not seen a tomato to make the bolognaise sauce part of the lasagne let alone used any, flavour was completely absent and the bottom layer of pasta was burnt! The cheese was like plastic and to top it off i found a piece of bone in the mince which put me off completely and i left it. The salad that went with it had only lettuce, and red onion, no sign of tomato or cucumber. My daughters meal was a calzone which the pizza bread to make this was still a little doughy. Other members in the party had also said they were not happy with the service or the meal and would not be going there again nor recommending it to anyone. The only thing that we were able to agree on was that the meals were hot. Would not recommend this restaurant.
