Great hand made, wood fired pizzas in a lovely setting. By far the best eatery in town.

My son took me for my birthday with a pre arranged booking. Staff were lovely and the restaurant itself is very nice. everyone really enjoyed their pizzas except me. I had the chicken pizza which was extremely dry and hard to eat. When we went to order deserts, we were told we couldnt have a hot desert as the ovens had been turned off! I found this really bizarre....we had pre booked and werent warned that the menu was dependant on what time you are there. Drinks are limited, no brandy (my tipple of choice) and the beer my son was drinking ran out. A bit of consideration and pre planning would have made this a much more enjoyable dining experience.

Visited last night for first time pizzas was really nice.!!Would definitely recommend the only thing missing was i like a few chips or wedges with my pizza which they dont do.

Never been before! Gordan Ramsey would LOVE the menu lol. Its small, but does what it needs to. The pizzas are beautifully hand made in open wood fired ovens that you can actually see. We then opted for a cheese cake afterwards which was honestly the best cheesecake I have ever tasted!. The place itself is nice enough for a fancy meal, but not too posh enough that you wouldnt feel at ease jump popping in whenever. There were a few people happily eating alone that I noticed as well, so if you are wanting a pizza without feeling out of place on your tod, this place has you sorted.

I came here maybe 2 weeks ago I enjoyed the food and service was good, environment is good also. I m back here for the 2nd time and we had to wait 10 minutes to order our drinks. Even when making eye contact with the staff showing we need you and are giving the signs to engage with you to order our drinks. Keep in mind there is no customers in and there s also 5 staff working. The food is nice, environment is good, but the service could be a lot better. Instead of the staff messing around and not making sure their customer service is good. We shall try this place one more time for the 3rd time. But if it s the same service we won t be coming here no more unfortunately.

Excellent pizza, lovely service. Tasty food and lovely inside. Only downsides: lack of cocktails on drinks menu which was unfortunate and also the open/closing times are a little early but regardless will be coming back for more. Sweet chocolate and strawberry pizza also fantastic. De-licious !

Arrived from Leicestershire for a house viewing, came across this place on google when looking for food.. PERFECT pizza PERFECT, undercarriage slightly charred, light fluffy, slight flop but expected with the dough.. on the OneBite pizza scale I would declare this an 8.3, amazing stuff, truly kind and helpful staff. Couldn t recommend more!

Amazing pizza. Very friendly and helpful service. Really, I was hugely impressed. A meal for our family of four with starter, pizza, dessert and wine came to a bit over £100. So really pretty reasonable. I don t live in Grimsby but if I did I d go here regularly!

Not recommended for an Italian pizza. Better eat at Pizza Express or Dominos. At least you know what you are getting. On the menu and website it had Neapolitan like pizza which got me into thinking but was intriguided by the good reviews. Ordered antipasto Melon with Proscuitto which was good. Would have preferred a more mature and sweet melon. Only issue with that is that it was served on a narrow stone dish and was not given any plate to it. The house rose bottle wine came opened. On the label it was saying that it was Pino Griccio, but it was diluted and tasted as a mixture of grapes of various varieties. Lastly the pizza came which was undercooked but burned on the top. Not sure if it was due to the sourdough or due to high temprature in the wood oven. Toppings were cut into very small pieces not typical of neapolitan pizza (5-10mm in size). Ate it all as it was small and I was very hungry and tired to reorder. Personnel working there seemed not properly trained for an Italian cuisine pizzeria, but they were helpful and well mannered. Place is well decorated but had loud dancing music which was out of place in a dining place. Needs improvement as it has the potential to be an excellent place for business travelers (next to the Holiday Inn Express). Edit 28/04/2024 Dear Simon and Marie, Thank you for the detailed reply, which basically was not a direct answer to my comments, about the pizza been not prepared well, the quality of wine and open bottle served and the loudness of the dance music at your establishment. Yes in regards with the comments of how a pizza should be made are almost correct. The criteria for the yeast for the dough are set by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) and they can be: Compressed fresh brewer s yeast, an organic product with a yellowgrey color, a bland favor and a low acidity level in packs of 25 500 grams (Saccharomices cerevisiae) (Ministerial Decree 03/21/1973 and 06/18/1996). Dry yeast from Saccharomices cerevisiae in the proportion of 1/3 compared to fresh. Natural sourdough Oven temprature should be around 485C when wood is used (almost to the 500C you wrote), but it can be lower too between 430-485C if other types of heating source are used. You did not write about the fermentation cycles and process (how many were and how much time in total) but I hope that you followed the correct one for your places humidity and temprature. It is good that you wrote about the marinara (tomatoe sauce in plain english), because I forgot to write that the tomatoe sauce was not in accordance with the AVPN criteria as it did not contain any oregano vulgaris (vulgaris=common in english), basil or thin slices of garlic and no virgin olive oil was placed in a spiraling motion. Could you please upload the documents of completion of training of the young girl that was preparing my pizza and the young boy that was baking? To finilize my lengthy reply, I understand why you write in your website and on the menu Neapolitan like pizza. It is because your pizza is not a Verace (True) Pizza Napoletana and you are not registered member of the AVPN. Here in the UK are 31 AVPN registered pizzerias and a couple of them I have been to, make an excellent Verace (True) Pizza Napoletana. You should not pay expensive training for your co-workers there by Mr M. Fuso, if they cannot make the pizza correctly. I hope my lenghty reply to your comments will give you the push to become a registered member and go through the proper course of training for the preparation of a Verace (True) Pizza Napalitana. Food was great, service was quick but felt it let the experience down somewhat. We were shown to our table. Nice table by the window. (Might want to look at adding more cushions, sitting on bare wood wasn t the comfiest) ordered 1 round of drinks .. The Morretti came in a dirty glass with the bubbles stuck to the side. At £6.75 I would have expected it to be perfect. My own fault real I should have sent it back but didn t want to cause a fuss on a family meal. ordered a sharing board starter which was lovely. However before we had, finished our mains started turning up .. No problem but one of our group had to help himself to a knife and fork despite being told the waiter would come back with one. All Pizzas were superb quality and cannot fault it. Received a half hearted check back and wasn t asked if we would like anymore drinks. We could have asked I suppose but we were busy talking to each other and by the time we realised we had run down we had finished our meals. Plates sat there for some time, we were enjoying a chat and could probably have squeezed a desert in but waiter no where to be seen. We decided to leave and I went up to pay the bill. I realised where all the staff were. All having a good chin wag and a laugh around the Pizza oven. No problem with that but if I was the owner I would have been disappointed I couldn t have turned my bill from £84 to £120. I never don t usually leave a tip but this time I felt the service was a little lacking for me. The food and standards were fantastic. Hopefully they can bring the service up to the same level.

Staff really lovely, atmosphere great however pizza very disappointing. The stretched wood fired pizza dough is very good but the toppings were not good at allon the three different pizzas we had. Just really let our experience down the toppings were small tasteless and we felt of cheaper quality than we are used to. We certainly were not expecting the toppings tobepiled high just of a much better quality. With a bit of tweaking and a bit of sommelier training for the staff this place could be somewhere we would always take visitors and friends to but as is it disappointed.

Had a wonderful lunch here the staff are kind and helpful great service and a homely atmosphere, food was perfect and very filling worth the money and will be returning in the future

Walk into Tredici and you will be in a brick oven authentic pizza restaurant that could be anywhere in the world. The food is delicious and the service is great.

Dont of the seats are hard, the menu is limited, but it delivers what it says on the can, authentic pizza.

Always amazing pizza

Service was great, food was good, however what spoilt it for me was the cold. The restaurant has two areas, the one where we were was so cold they even provided blankets on the chairs. The other side of the place was noticeably different in temperature. This was not expected in an inside restaurant.

Ate here lunctime on Sunday. We found it has a lovely warm atmosphere, staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was amazing. The pizza was as good as any pizza Ive eaten in Italy. Will definitely be coming again.

Authentic incredibly delicious italian pizza with amazing vegan options. Service is brilliant fast and attentive. Couldnt reccomend more especially for vegans who want a proper good meal with plenty of options.

Honestly if the base was slightly crispier this would have been the best pizza I had ever eaten, coming from someone who inhales good pizza for a living. Dont let that minor judgement dissuade you though. The sourdough was chewy, proved well and charred almost perfectly in a wood fired oven. Toppings on the picante were perfectly balanced. Sides of marinated olives were done well and the spiced garlic crust dip....yeah, I could bathe in that. House red was round and fruity, atmosphere was really welcoming, friendly and the place looks lovely. Great service and fantastic value. If they left that pizza in the oven an extra minute it would have been 5 stars. Best pizza in Grimsby easily. Edit: After mentioning to the chef the slight criticism he replied courteously and said he would have crisped that base right up if I had mentioned, customer service great, changed to 5 stars and I know for next time! Kid-friendliness: Didnt take my child but they do child friendly options Wheelchair accessibility: Downstairs seating would be accessible for wheelchairs if they can fit through a regular door. Pizza was amazing, really lovely and didnt need to hang around long for it. Very messy though if you traditionally like eating pizza with your hands.. we got burnt bits literally stuck in our nails. We all said maybe a small bowl of lemon water for when finished would have just been perfect. The surroundings and set up were really lovely.

Had an amazing vegan pizza (with vegan cheese!). The base was incredible and there was a huge range of available toppings. I had roasted garlic, chillies, and roasted peppers. Crust dippers were great too!

The new expansion of Tredici is incredible. Such a lovely place and well needed to keep up with the high demand. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff, as always, are very kind and accommodating. So happy they have had the opportunity to grow.

The pizza is absolutely beautiful, probably the last pizza of the year for me, but by far the best! The staff was lovely and welcoming, and the service was very quick 10/10! I asked for a quieter table as I was bringing my little sister, and shes a little shy( unlike myself) and not only did I get a lovely text (bookong a week in advance) saying it might be a little loud as theres a bigger party at the same time but we got a lovely quiet booth at the back which was perfect! I really appreciated the effort Will definitely be back soon! p.s tiramisu was lovely i recommend!

Not kidding when I say this...Best pizza Ive ever had in my life! Texture, flavour, ingredients and size were perfect! The garlic pizza bread was served with a lovely garlic butter on the side, which you dont see often. Marie cooks the pizza and is part owner I believe, such a wonderful person with so much passion which clearly translates through the food. Staff seem happy to which is a good sign. The place is beautifully decorated also. Id recommend this to anyone dinning in or taking out 10/10 5*!!!!!

Always a favourite when I m staying in Grimsby. Over 2 years since my last visit and great to see its expanded but still retained the great food and service. Pizzas are amazing, simple but very tasty and all made in plain view. Located in a little haven away from the main shopping area it is well worth the effort to seek it out and enjoy the food and setting.

Would of been a 2 star but pizza was lovely. I started at a 5 star and burnt starter moved to a 4 But when arrived at 7pm they didnt seem to really want to seat us in the quiet restaurant and said we have only a hour as close at 8. Very rude for someone who I was giving my money to. Back to doh bros to spend my money next time

Amazing pizza and customer service. It is similar to authentic Italian pizza with its wood fired crust. The servers were all lovely and friendly. We ordered the garlic pizza, mozzarella salad, verdue and bianca.

Sourdough pizza is one of my favourite things. Really great that they offer vegan cheese and pizzas as I can t handle dairy anymore but was still able to enjoy a cheesy and meaty pizza!

Went for a meal with my wife and sister late in the evening. We have various pizzas and all were prepared and cooked to perfection. My wife and I are going back in January to one of their make your own pizza experiences which promises to be good fun. Really looking forward to it.

Didnt have a chance to try the food or have a drink because we were sat outside today for 20 minutes before someone came and put a drinks menu on the table. Told the girl that we just want a drink but she never came back to take the order. I wouldnt be writing this if they were busy but there was know one there for any of the three staff to serve. Very poor customer service and I dont think I will bother going back.

Havent been here for quite sometime. Not sure we will return. The Service was dreadful, totally agree with the other review today. There were 3 tables inside eating and all of us had to get up and go to the desk to either ask for service or pay our bill.!! The young lady front of house was not constantly checking her customers she mainly remained at the desk with her back to the restaurant. So disappointed!! Date of visit was 9th July 12.15

Visited on a Wednesday evening at 7.15pm. Pizzas might be nice but apparently the oven is turned off an hour before closing so perhaps this should be better advertised.

Delicious pizzas and delicious dessert. The only thing I would say is that I would have liked to have had another type of plate (not slate) because when cutting with the normal knife (not the circular one) it makes a slightly unpleasant noise. To say that the staff was super attentive and did everything for us and the place itself is very cozy. Very, very pretty and pleasant.

Went on a Friday evening, pizza and salad was lovely. Reason for leaving only 3 stars is that the service could be better. There was 5 tables and 3 waiting staff and we had to go ask for more drinks, nobody came over to ask if food was OK or if we wanted any desserts or drinks, didnt even bring the bill over had to go ask for it on our way out. Will be a lovely place just needs that bit more customer service.

Booked in a party of 8, nice cosy restaurant. Had shared antipasti starters and pizzas, good quality food and good service. My only suggestion would be to have a better choice of wines as there is only one red and one white and wasnt that keen on either. A choice of say 3 reds and 3 whites would be good. But top marks for pizzas.

Tried Tredici for the first time after a recommendation. Service was good however food was average. Had to move our table further along due to a birthday party needing 2 extra seats. No thought to us or social distancing with numbers rising.

We visited as a group and we were told not all the pizzas would be served together. The first few came out rapidly followed by the others and I dont think they need to worry about any delays. Cozy small pizza place,staffs were wonderful

Small restaurant serving sourdough traditional pizzas, details let it down like coke cans being poured in sight into plain not tall glasses without ice or fruit and charged 2.80 each.

Have visited several times, and always found the pizzas to be fantastic. Space is tight, but clean and friendly.

Very friendly staff, great pizza. My son had his engagement party there.

Excellent pizza, the specials menu is always interesting and the staff and atmosphere is always lovely and welcoming.
