I have been ordering food and dining in at Grimsby Thai for years and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food, which is always fresh and delicious, or the prompt and courteous service. This is a gem in our town and has stood the test of time because the owner cares about delivering the best for customers.

Really delicious thai food. Ordered the spicy lamb stir fry which was delicious. Had fresh green peppercorns which were a nice touch. Lamb was tender and not overly gamey. Sauce was complex with deep rich umami and a slight sweetness from the coconut milk. You can really taste and smell the aromatics of them. Wish I had ordered it spicier but that was my own fault. You can tell they take time and care in the food they produce. Would definitely be returning.

Allergy caution!!!! I ve been eating here for years and the food has always been good. I would caution anyone who has a serious allergy to triple check their food order. I was served something I am anaphylactic to (the server mixed up our table order), and I understand mix ups happen, but that was a pretty serious one. I had to rush out to the ER (luckily next door), without so much as an apology. The server handed the bill my to sister who stayed behind with the rest of the group. I called in today to speak with the owner who wasn t available, and the server apologized, but it all felt a little too late.

Ordered online for delivery, completely overwhelmed with taste and fresh ingredients! Tastebud overload and excellent! Haven t had this good Thai food in a long time! Well done. Thank you . Will be ordering again for sure!

To be honest with you food just sucked. Got take out rice was packed weird it was sticky rice but it was moulded into like a square. Chicken wings tasted like the oil has ent been changed in a while. Mango chicken was bland. Spring rolls were good. And there I think it s like a sweet oil dip for the spring rolls were actually great but everything else was pretty bland. Would def go back for the spring rolls and the dip but everything else I m good

Place was absolutely packed full of customers waiting 40+ minutes for pickup orders. Staff did not/were not able to communicate with waiting customers that completely filled the waiting area and spilled out into the restaurant. The lack of communication and organization was staggering. Staff kept disappearing behind the curtain and a new one would come up every 5 minutes to talk to a customer that had previously been served by another staff member.

We were passing by and found this hidden gems. Amazing Thai food. The spice was right where we wanted. Food had that Asian wok cooking. Very good service received for our family. Very patient and always come follow up ensuring our needs are met.

We went here for the first time on Mothers Day. They had a lot of takeout and delivery orders so we had a short wait before our food was ready. The wait staff were so kind and apologized for the inconvenience and gave us a yummy complimentary mango salad! Every dish we ordered was very good and fresh. Would definitely recommend Grimsby Thai!!!

My colleagues and I like getting the lunch specials from time to time and enjoy the food. Only issue Ive had a couple times was that Ive asked for no nuts on my chicken pad thai and Ive still received it, now when I go I confirmed on the phone no nuts and in person before leaving. Other than that, its usually great.

The food isnt that authentic, and the server on that day was very tough. Im not sure if Ill come back. The only plus point was its interior decoration

Six of us enjoyed dinner-in at Grimsby Thai on a Friday night. The food was amazing! Fresh, hot and delicious! Try the mango salad and ginger tea so good! Service was excellent. Very clean and quiet atmosphere with no blaring loud music so we could actually hear each other! Will definitely be going again.

Food was cold when we picked it up

My wife and I visited here just over a week ago. We shared some calimari, chicken wings, a plate of Pad Thai and their special platter. The meal was awesome, the service was good and overall, we quite enjoyed ourselves. If youre looking for something different in Grimsby I highly recommend you check this place out.

Ordered take out about $100 of it and was kind of surprised that the orders didn t come with rice- Food was good however.

I couldnt believe it when I took my brother who hates most foreign food, especially hot food, to this restaurant. He saw what was being served and thought he would at least taste it. His exact words were My mouth just had an explosion of flavour. I thought that was a bad thing until he started dishing himself out more. He polished off all the plates in the end. Fanatistic tasting and fresh food.

Sorry to say that we were very disappointed in the food. Coconut shrimp soup was very good, Plenty of nice size shrimps, as well as the fresh veggie spring rolls. They were cut up into awkward size too large to eat in one bit so it fell apart very quickly. Hard to eat but they were good. I would suggest u request them not to cut them. The rest of food was disappointing. Very little taste. I eat a lot of Chinese food so i am picky. if someone doesnt they would probably be happy with dish. Vegetarian options: Limited options.

Whenever I have a Thai craving, this place hits the spot. I always order the green curry - so good and so comforting. The shrimp spring rolls are extra delicious too! A whole shrimp is wrapped with the spring roll and deep fried. Yum.

I always order from here, the chicken pad Thai is delicious. I just wish they gave more chicken. Def recommend, their lunch specials are the best since they come with spring rolls that are crunchy!

Hands down the best pad thai and mango salad I have ever had. This little place caught me by surprise, and I cant wait to go back and try more of their menu.

I go pretty often and I always get the royal and it never disappoints. It is probably one of my all-time favourite meals.

We ve ordered from here several times and it was amazing until tonight. My husband was eating a spring roll and out comes this long string. When called, the person said he d give us a free spring roll. Then my husband went and they said it was indeed from the kitchen. Appreciate the honesty. Yet again, they wanted to get us a new spring roll. Sometimes it s not about money, it s about food safety and the cleanliness of where the food is made. Unfortunate. A closer look at how you operate in the kitchen would be important for customer loyalty.

I have been to Grimsby Thai a few times, and I find their food to be ok. I will say the Crab Rangoon are some of the best out there. I do find the food quality to be very inconsistent. At times, the mall Thai food is better. It a shame they can not find consistency in their food production.

I am quite surprised by all the good reviews at this place which misled me into coming here as I expected it to be good. Food is stale and poorly prepared. Prices are high for mediocre food with little taste. Just thought I would leave an honest review so others arent misled like I was.

Overall good food for a good price. Of course its not exactly the best for a single person, but even then, its a good deal. The tamarind beef tastes great, especially with the rice. I tried this place for the first time last week and it was really good. The only reason I didn t give it five stars is because I ordered the spicy noodles and the plain rice noodles came in a separate takeout container than the sauce and veg. I had to add them in and mix it up myself which left them stuck together and bland compared to how flavourful they may have been had they been mixed together in the wok to begin with. Maybe there s a reason they did this that I m missing. I d still order from here again though 100%.

Always had a great experience ordering from Grimsby Thai, all the food is so falvourful and generously portioned. Never sat in to eat at the restaurant but we have got take out numerous times and it has been a hit with friends and family!

We went here for a small work meeting, was my first time. Great selection, portions were big and everything tasted great. I had Pad Thai. Our Server was fast and efficient. My only recommendation is to turn music down a bit, it was loud and wasnt easy to hear each other just across the table. Thank you for a good lunch!

I order the Thai Basil Noodle dish for lunch and the dish barely had any basil in it. I called to ask if my dish was somehow mixed up, but their reply was for me to ask for more basil next time. The menu says it comes with basil and a Thai basil sauce that was non-existent on my dish. I essentially got pad Thai which is not what I paid for. I dont appreciate people not taking responsibility and passing blame on the customer when they fail to provide what was promised. I frequent restaurants often and are on the top 10 percentile of restaurant reviewers in Canada so I think I have a slight understanding of cusine, to say the least. I do not recommend this place based on their unprofessional way of handling an inquiry/concern and for their lack of respect towards customers by not even showing any sympathy or acknowledgement for their actions. People make mistakes so dont behave like you are perfect and deflecting responsibility on to your customers. An apology would have sufficed and I am not looking for a free meal. Writing this takes effort, but a warning to others makes it worth it, to keep businesses accountable. Lastly, I dont seem to be an isolated case with this experience.

Disappointing Experience! I ordered a green curry and was surprised to find it without rice. Most Thai restaurants include rice with curry, so it was unexpected to be charged separately here. The lack of communication about this during the ordering process was disappointing, and unfortunately, the person taking orders was quite rude. This experience has left me with a negative impression, and I wont be returning

I had a takeout order here, and the papaya salad I got is under the quality. Shrimps inside were still undercooked. I called back to let them know, the staff s attitude was bad, she didn t even say sorry. She just said she give me half price store credit. I told her the shrimps are under cooked and mixed with the salad, so I couldn t have it. And she said: So what do you want? You want the full refund? Only the shrimps have problem, they re deep fried, not raw. I didn t even ask the whole bill refund, I just said because this salad has been mix with undercooked ingredients, so I couldn t have it. I need this salad s full credit, not just half. Her attitude was really rude, and that s absolutely not a proper customer service.

Always have a great meal when we go here. Hot and fresh, very quick service. Today we had their Lunch Specials Menu. All meals came with either Hot and Sour Soup with 1 Spring Roll; Salad with 1 Spring Roll or 2 Spring Rolls as our appetizers, along with a lunch size portion of their main meals. This also included a bowl of rice for $13.95 for each meal. Just amazing food! Love coming here when we can!

Driving home hungry from a small road trip in the Niagara area, we checked Google Maps for a restaurant nearby. Although we were just looking for fast food, Grimsby Thai was the closest one. So we decided, why not give it a try? It turned out to be a pleasant end to our trip as we enjoyed some of the best Thai food Ive ever had. Everything was perfectly cooked, nicely plated and had beautifully balanced flavours. Every bite hit the right notes with us: shrimp, curry, tamarind, fish sauce, peanut -- all those wonderful Thai flavours complementing each other in perfect harmony. It was a very good dining experience. We are planning to come back with some foodie friends to sample the other delectable dishes on the menu and support this family-owned local restaurant.

We eat here all the time, always greattt and by far my favourite of the many Thai places I ve tried. I highly recommend the cashew chicken, it is sweet and tangy with a tiny bit of spice and loaded with chicken and cashews. The crispy chicken wontons are also unreal! All white minced chicken deep fried and served with a sweet Thai sauce that is to die for

We had the Fresh roll, Mango fish, & Royal Pad Tia. Food was excellent and also the service. We will be back to enjoy more Thai.

Worst thai food I ve ever had. Not authentic, lukewarm food. Taste like microwave food. Have no idea how this quality thai food restaurant got high rate on google. Also they have really bad service especially old white woman cashier. She was so rude and kind of racist(since we are asian I guess?) we left 90% offood. Waste money.

It was my first time eating from here. The lady that was taking orders over the phone seemed to not have time to respond to my questions, which I understand on one hand if youre having a very busy day, but maybe then they should have an online ordering system. I would have liked to see the level of spiciness on the menu. I do not eat spicy it makes me sick, I can tolerate just a little bit, not too much. This should be indicated on the menu, the noodles were VERY spicy to me. The rice and spring rolls were ok.

This such a popular and quality place! We were surprised with this place after we got there based on an advice from the local supermarket operator. Food quality is great, but there was no indoor seating options. They seem to be happy with the volume of pickups :)

What s even better than their super nice staff is their food! You cannot go wrong with the thai fried rice (smoky and delicious) or the green curry (pretty darn good)! Portions were good, and prices were reasonable! Finding such good food and value for money in my Burlington area is impossible! I will happily make the 24min drive to get such good food and service!

Best Thai food in Grimsby. They are very, very busy so when they say 20 mins its actually means 25 mins BUT its well worth the wait.

I ve ordered take out a couple of times and they ve been efficient both the times. The food is tasty and pretty authentic. They re helpful in suggesting dishes in case of any specific inclusions of ingredients (I m a vegetarian). Overall a decent place.

We were in the area and craving some Thai food and there wasnt much to choose from. We had the pineapple fried rice and special platter. The food was very good and the portions were big.

I called and placed a takeout order. The order was pretty straight forward i.e. Thai hot n sour soup and Basil fried rice. The woman who took my order (i do not know her name but she has short hair and senior) was rushing me as if there is a line up outside the restaurant and she repeated my order. Took me 15 mins to get there, I walk in and no greeting, grumpy face she says what you got? I am like here for my order and gave my number. Picked up the food got home, tried the rice it was simply delicious. Opened the soup and it was wonton soup. I called them and the same woman picked up and she said well you did not order hot n sour but wonton. I am like i know exactly what i ordered and i know exactly what you repeated. She placed the blame on me and in response I said that well clearly you do not know the saying Customer is always right. She called the manager/owner who basically took her employees side and did not agree with me. I went back to the restaurant, returned the wonton soup and picked up the thai hot n sour. Was given 4 spring rolls as a sorry for inconvenience. Got home only to realize that thai hot n sour was horrible. In a nutshell zero customer service, rude people. People here who have given negative reviews, are spot on about the rude staff. The customer experience was horrible. Good food does not mean that I wanna be in a place where customer respect does not exist. People living in Grimsby/Stoney Creek try Thai Orchard restaurant, good food and good customer experience. Too bad they are closed on Mondays.
