Great breakfast spot in downtown Guelph

Sunny Morning Convenience? Similarly to a convenience store, whenever someone opens the front door a loud bell rings in the entire restaurant. The bell kept going off every minute. Service was inattentive even though there were 2 servers and wasn t busy inside. The finish is coming off the tables since it opened so they feel sticky. Food is good though !

Ive been here twice and the food was amazing and the servers were awesome. If you want an amazing hangover breakfast or just an Im starving, give me what I see on the YouTube videos breakfast, this is your spot. Take that for what you will. Food : 5/5

First off I m going to say, this place was very expensive, BUT the food was great. I got a bagel with eggs cheese bacon and cream cheese and a side of fruit that was an extra $5. For my man and me to eat here it was $40. I probably won t be coming back because there are cheaper breakfast spots with the same great tasting food.

Great food but to expensive

I have driven through the Guelph downtown dozens of times and been intrigued to try some if the very welcoming restaurants. We had the opportunity on Saturday and enjoyed an amazing breakfast at 09:30. The restaurant has a fresh uncluttered feel to it. We had a coffee in our hands in less than minutes. You know your in trouble when there are too many menu choices you desire. I settled on a greek style omelette! Wow everything was perfect. We were convinced it was a one if a kind but pleasantly surprised to learn it is a small franchise. Looking forward to my next breakfast out.

Nice place to get breakfast and start the day. Fast service and overall very tasty. This was the location of Vienna Bakery and this new restaurant keeps the same feeling as a family breakfast place.

My boyfriend and I came for brunch and it was great! We got the french delight and breakfast skillet. Food came out super quick and so yummy. Our server was so nice too!!

Wonderful little breakfast nook. GG was our server. She was absolutely lovely and pleasant. If you want a big, simple breakfast, this is the place as its decently priced.

Sunny Morning serves the best coffee in the guelph or I can say best coffee of Ontario. Additionally, Alina gives best morning greetings and service which will make your hard day much smoother. I love Sunny Mornings, now the place too

I used to go there with my Grama when I was a kid it was the old Vienna now its Sunny Morning ,you have to check this place for Breakfast super clean inside great food and the staff is always happy ,chek it out

Food prices have gone way up and it seems less worth it now

Food was good not mind blowing. A little tight for space, we went on a Sunday afternoon so it may be its peak busy. But overall good! They advertise fruit but you have to order it as a classic side and that costs $5. Seasoned home fries or sliced tomatoes is a free classic side.

False Advertising at its finest. they advertise fresh squeezed orange juice, but what you get is bottled orange juice poured into a container. theres a distinguishable difference between fresh and bottled, and you sure are not providing fresh.

Best Breakfast place in Guelph. Always amazing service. I got the Big Breakfast Skillet with over easy eggs added Ham. With an English muffin its delicious. I also got the Honey Mustard Chicken and Bacon sandwich with grilled tomatoes. Side of sausage. Great meal after working a 12 hour shift

overall breakfast was 5 star good coffee good toast average hash browns and bacon but with no early bird special ... $17 for coffee, eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast no one will go there as there are to many other competing restaurants offering $10 early bird specials for the same thing. I was there at 8:30 and no one was there and no one came in during my 45 minute stay.

4 Words: Best Breakfast In Town! The food was tasty, it had a nice presentation and was a good portion. The fresh fruit was REALLY fresh, I love it! Staff were friendly and service was quick. Great menu with fresh ingredients! Highly recommend if youre in the area.

Tables were so close together that the waiters brushed my arm any time they had to squeeze past, whi h was often enough. Theres nowhere to hang coats or keep bags, so mine went on the floor between my feet. The pancakes were a bit too sweet, and felt more like a dessert than a breakfast. Overall the food was fine, the atmosphere was uncomfortable.

I went there last week with 3 friends and we all loved it! The food & coffee were great, and the staff were fun to talk to. Ill definitely be going back.

Wow, Sunny Morning rocks! Their bacon and eggs are huge and totally fulfilling. Plus, the staff is super friendly and hooked me up with some killer coffee. The cozy atmosphere is the icing on the cake. I am giving this place five stars for sure! I am so happy we have a new favorite in Guelph.

I had a wonderful experience at Sunny Morning during my first visit. The customer service was outstanding and I was thoroughly impressed with this new establishment. I ordered the Bacon and eggs and it was incredibly delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived promptly, within 10 minutes of ordering. Used to go there when it was the Vienna. Way over priced for what you get. Kids menue is $9 and they get one piece of french toast or one pancake. That right....one. I spent $50 bucks to feed two kids and myself and I didnt get a coffee. Try harder guys

It was very quiet for a Saturday morning. The service was friendly and warm. There are a lot of menu options to choose from, but as vegetarians we found that many of the breakfast items included meat. The portions are large and were happy to see tomatoes included as an option for a side dish. The regular breakfast is $9.99 with prices increasing thereafter. Vegetarian options: A lot of the breakfast options include meat. If you order a breakfast skillet they can leave the meat out but a substitution wasnt offered.

A cute diner with all the classic breakfast options you can imagine. I enjoyed the strawberry pancakes and my friend enjoyed the breakfast skillet. Would definitely come back in the future!

Nice and clean establishment! We went early in the morning with two children (one under one) and we were quickly accommodated. A simple menu made the choices easy, and they were even able to accommodate my off-menu side choice. Reasonably priced, quick to receive our food, and good, tasty food made this place one I look forward to going back to. The rye bread was the standout here, strongly suggest giving it a go! Kid-friendliness: Many high chairs and booster seats available, a good kids menu as well!

Love their Etobicoke location so when I saw they opened a location in Guelph I had to try it! Breakfast was great and friendly service. Love the bacon and eggs breakfast with the fresh fruit as it s a great deal of food for the price. Luckily wasn t super busy on a Sunday morning and we were seated right away. Overall would recommend if in the area!

Great ambiance and amazing food! I have always been a fan of Sunny Morning franchise and this location is equally great. The portions are great and the food is delicious. I like their home fries and skillet and loads of veggie options (you can ask no meat in almost all dishes). Need to try the Dream Waffle of theirs, it s really good. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good breakfast place in Guelph.

Had breaky this morning ordered white toast , sunny side, sausage . Got bacon by mistake was my mistake doesnt matter my serve was awesome. I didnt get her name, but she absolutely radiant and professional. Suffice, too, say ill be back. Thanks for the sunny Sunday morning.

We had breakfast at Sunny Morning for the first time today. Excellent atmosphere, service, and food. They are also open at 7 AM which is great for a breakfast spot.

Impeccably clean wonderful service and one of the most flavorful breakfast that Ive had in a long time. I had the eggs benedict what a lovely treat . And some optional eggs Bennys . What if excellent flavor choice to accompany my eggs benedict with some quality greens and a sesame seed vinaigrette.. My friend had an omelette that was light and full of ingredients like a good omelette should be.! ATTENTION to detail !!! and extremely good value perception. I will definitely return.

Had a delicious lunch, standard diner fare, but not at all greasy. Left feeling satiated, not stuffed. The food was very reasonably priced and generous portions. Staff are excellent. Sunny Morning does the memory of the old Vienna dinner proud, but also does its own thing, and does it very well. Highly recommend.

Coffee & food were delicious! The staff are lovely and attentive. The restaurant has been simply & classically renovated (which is refreshing). There are pictures of the old Vienna restaurant on the walls which is a wonderful nod to the history. Our old / new favourite breakfast spot. The mini waffles are delightful and the home fries are 10/10 for me.

The breakfast and food quality at the Guelph location is exceptional. We have eaten there twice now and the waiter Alejandro remembered us and our party the last visit months ago. In the summer you can eat outside and people watch. You will not be disappointed. Stop in and say hi.

I tried this restaurant as soon as they opened and I love the food. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I read reviews where some people mention the price is high, but I have to disagree because the portions are very generous. Love their home fries, they are the best I have ever had, and I tried quite a few places. I always order them extra crispy. Yum!! Please keep up the good quality. I have come to the restaurant, and have ordered delivery or pick up several times, and the food always tastes delicious. My go to breakfast is The Belgian Delight. Ignore the negative comments. You cant make everybody happy. There will always be complainers. Nothing you can do about it. They also sell tiny jars of Nutella. Yum!!
