Large portions of delicious food

My delivery order was obliterated. My food was packaged in a upside position and all the sauce was pouring outside the container. Consequently, I had to clean my floor and dispose all my food, Not something you look forward to when you had a long day and planning for a relaxing dinner. Appalling service!!!

Fantastic food, wonderful service

Great food. The best pasta dish I have ever had. The chicken in the suvlaki was so tender and flavourful along with the delicious roasted potatoes and greak salad. So full!!

Our party was over 30 people AND this place killed it. As in they were SPECTACULAR!!!! Atmosphere, food, service ALL beyond expectation especially for a party that took up half the restaurant. Way to go on everything! Unique desserts AND delicious drinks. This is a must try and youll probably be returning place.

Excellent breakfast with plentiful portions. For dinner the pork souvlaki is my favourite. Great Greek salad. Friendly owners and staff.

The meal tasted great however I had the liver and shortly after eating it, I was extremely sick. However, my friend had the chicken skewers and was perfectly fine. I didn t have a good experience, so I won t be back. I was really sick afterwards.

Yuck. --- Expanding my comments: Despite having several people recommend this restaurant, we all had a truly awful meal. I had a moussaka that was a greasy mess. The stuff on top might have been a béchamel at some point in its history, but it was a weird texture that was clearly no longer béchamel. The greek salad was nothing of the sort. It was slimy romaine - which has no place in a greek salad. The usual contents of a Greek salad were absent. A couple of olives and a piece of tomato on the side. Look up how to make a greek salad. My dining companions also found their meals to be awful. We sent one back. We felt unwell the rest of the day. We should have sent them all back and had a talking to the manager. It was a bad meal in every way possible.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Guelph as it is consistently good. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is nice. Im never disappointed. Thank you for a great experience each time.

Food is delicious. But there isnt much in your portion for what you pay. They barely gave me a scoop of rice. Rice is the cheapest of all things. It was embarrassing I wont be back because Jimmy the Greek is way more value and just as much flavour. Consumers dont want to get ripped off! Parking: Easy to park

We enjoyed a family fish and chips meal and amazing bruschetta and saganaki as an app. They accommodated our group of eight and service was kind and food was delicious! Great food for value! Had the spanakopita platter. Lots to take home. Two things to mention, rice a bit bland but rest of the meal very flavourful. Second was the Greek salad. Was a bit wilty, not sure if made in advance but had no crunch and a little soft

First visit and it wont be my last. Really nice restaurant. Not a very big place so I would suggest reservations. Very clean and a great atmosphere. Our waiter was excellent and very attentive. The chef also visited our table and greeted us. Nice little gem.

The food was AMAZING! This is such a gem of a restaurant in Guelph. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent and the ambiance is just as equally incredible. Highly recommend for a great meal!

Amazing food!

Food was good, but service could have been better. It took a while for a server to take our food order and then when the it was ready my lamb chops order was given to somebody else and I had to wait 10 min to have it prepared second time, while the rest of party at our table was already eating.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. There were plenty of traditional Mediterranean meals on hand (which due to my general aversion to both olives and feta cheese I didnt partake), and more standard North American dishes for the less adventurous among us. Wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Dietary restrictions: There was a gluten-free option available from the dessert tray, so restrictions are a consideration.

The food was fantastic, and the service was unbeatable. I havent been to many places where the staff is this friendly. Highly recommended

Excellent and authentic Greek Cuisine. Best Village Salad ever!

Our group of 5 visited on a Friday evening. We all ordered something different. We each loved our meals. I had the stuffed sole. It was perfect. The sauce, rice, and fish were a real treat. My husband enjoyed the steak. Hes very critical, but this time, he was pleased. Others enjoyed the soup of the day, a large Greek salad, the sweet-potatoe fries, and a Mediterranean dish whose name I forget. We were all very happy with our meals. The coffee was one of the best cups I have had in a while. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. A great experience all round. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible

So disappointed. Spent over $50 with delivery and nothing was good. Meat was burnt - touched the screwer and if instantly broke off for example. Potato s were under cooked, rice had no flavour. Salad was soggy - only one tomato slice and one olive in the whole salad. Will not order again. Sad!

First time here, food was hot, my chicken parm was a nice thick chicken breast. A very nice atmosphere and staff. The mousaka was really good. would 100% return

We had an excellent experience with a party at the restaurant. The whole experience from start to finish went with ease. Communication was clear and took the stress off party planning. The food was delicious, servers were incredibly friendly and the coffee fantastic! Would recommend 10/10

Great cozy spot. Good authentic Greek food, large portions, friendly service. Decent wine (some VQA) and beer (local craft) selections. May not be easy to find tucked away in a Zehrs plaza but worth looking for.

A great neighbourhood restaurant. I got the veal Parmesan and it was delicious however the parm was melted marble cheese. Otherwise the veal was cooked perfectly and the meal was delicious

Amazing food!!

Cozy, very well appointed; even the washroom was nicely decorated and clean. The food was somewhat disappointing. Our calamari was a bit cheewy and the tzatziki sauce was too thick and bland. My moussaka came with what looked like shredded marble cheese topping which hardened as it cooled. Moussaka is supposed to be topped with light, tasty bechamel sauce. The Caesar salad was overloaded with dressing. My husbands chicken souvlaki was OK. Was really looking forward to much more.

Ate at this restaurant recently. They get 2 stars as their food was decent however the spanakopita was served without tzatziki? The server was nice so she gets an A for effort but her serving skills were absent. The restaurant was less than half full and we had to chase her down for a second round of drinks and forget anything after that....no refills on water....no follow up to see how our meal was AND she kept asking us if we were ready for our bill....?? Unfortunately it only takes one lasting impression like this for me not to return or recommend this restaurant to others.

Had this for Mother s Day and was completely disappointed the Greek salad was drowned in dressing this was my whole meal and I had to throw it out.

We just tried them for a family members birthday, and we loved it. The portion sizes were very generous. And they have the best marinara sauce ever had! We will be eating here again!

Came here to meet a friend for lunch. Couldnt resist ordering the chicken souvklaki pita. The lunch was delicious. I ordered the roasted potatoes and my friend upgraded to the ceasar salad as our sides. The food was delicious and arrived fairly quickly. The decor is very nice and the interior is spacious. Parking: Ample parking is available free of charge.

It was my husband and my first time trying and we really enjoyed our meals. We also really appreciate the delivery of our missing items. I was a little hangry as they call it lol. So thanks again for coming and dropping that off to us. We will definitely order again.

One of our favourite restaurants in Guelph. Been going there for close to 8 years and the quality of the food is always great. Recommend their chicken souvlaki, penne bistro and ribs but everything is great. Catered as well for family events and always a hit with the family. Love that they deliver now as well.

It took us two days to eat it all but it was soooo good we had to order more today. Absolutely amazing!! Looking forward to trying all the seafood available. Absolutely delicious. They helped cater an event where we just needed rice & chicken...and let me tell you, Cusina Mediterranean Bistro will be our go to catering restaurant. The chicken skewers were bsolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. And Maria was wonderful, so easy to communicate with. Thank you guys so much. It was a hit!

Good food

Nice comfortable atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The meal came with a fabulous salad, served remarkably fast. Followed by an amazing dinner for two with all your Greek favorites...it was delicious. There was more than enough for next day leftovers. Easy five star! Were going back for sure!!

Wifey and I had lunch here today a great choice, liver n onions, abgolimonu soup, chicken souvlaki, Greek coffee Pretty we re fair, alcohol prices seemed inexpensive, but we remained DRY .drive don t drink If in the area again, we would return. Yassoo!!

$20 for chicken souvlaki dinner, everywhere else about $15 for chicken souvlaki and way bigger portions. I ordered today for first and last time. 2 spoons of rice given with quarter piece of potatoe. Rice is very inexpensive so is potatoes.Please be generous if a person is spending over $20 for a meal.

Best potatoes in town. You might think to yourself , well what about the other food ? Why is this review just about potatoes. The food itself is amazing , but order potatoes and you will see why the first thing I said was best potatoes in town. This is 5 out of 5 on the potatoes alone. Like words cannot describe how good this is because the English language doesnt have them.

Cozy atmosphere with delicious greek food. I really enjoy the breakfast until 2pm on the weekend, try the opa skillet.

Poor service, despite a large serving staff in a small, cramped environment. The food was sub-par for the prices asked. Two people at our table received only part of their orders, and water was only served when asked for. There was an hour wait between drink orders. I was given an uncleaned plate during the appetizer. One of the worst restaurant experiences Ive had. Ive been to Greek diners with better food and service for half the price. Had I thought to ask at the time, I would have asked to comp my meal as It was basically inedible (completely dried out meat, undercooked rice dish, etc.). I only hope that my experience varies greatly from the average.

Excellent. Everything was so good!

Four of us had dinner here for the first time last night. Service was very good and the chef will alter the menu such as changing sauces to your own preference. The Lamb chops with shrimp special was delicious and the Bistro penne was exceptionally good. The restaurant is small and the booths make for a quieter relaxing dining experience. You can actually carry on a conversation with your friends unlike many of the popular Guelph rerstaurants. Definately will be back. This place never disappoints from the service to the delicious meals and the lovely decor! The food is always hot, very tasty and plentiful! Make a reservation though as it fills up quickly. Plenty of free parking! Prices are very reasonable also!

I liked the atmosphere and the extensive menu but found the food itself disappointing. I like my roasted potatoes to be crispy on the outside, the salad was boring, and there was just too much salt - I had to drink so much water all night afterwards!

Im surprised I hadnt heard of this place before, despite living in Guelph for 5 years. Lovely little Greek restaurant! Beautiful interior and the food was delicious. I had the mousaka and a Greek Tempest, but also tried the chicken souvlaki. A bit on the pricier side, but it was well worth it.

An amazing dining experience - What a fantastic experience - we started with some fantastic appetizers, followed by devine gyros & souvlaki. Even the sides were amazing, but nothing could top the caramel bread pudding dessert! The service was outstanding with courteous & attentive staff. This is our new favourite restaurant

I can t comment on the food as I never made it to sit down. I walked in shortly after they opened and there was no customers in the restaurant yet. I saw a lady looking at something and she ignored me for too long considering the door rings when it opens. I decided to try them again a year later when the time before I received the same service....non existent.

The best mediterranean food Ive ever had. I used to live down the street when I was in school a few years back. Ive moved very far since then but now when Im in Guelph, I need to stop by and get my fix. I have dreams about this food still... weird, but true

One of Guelphs best restaurants i.m.o. My sister in law visiting from Japan had never tried Greek food so off we went starting with saganaki (flaming sharp cheese served on a hot skillet). We shared chicken souvlaki and a Mediterranean calamari that was grilled and served in a fabulous spicy tomato sauce. Their prices are quite reasonable for far better than average dining. Id recommend making a reservation. Its a small place and usually busy.

You gotta eat here! It is no wonder why need a reservation to eat here. This place is so popular. Why? In addition to the great food, reasonable prices and super service, you get generous portions! Yes, finally. What a wonderful place to connect with your family and friends for a totally memorable dining experience. Hats off to this establishment for making our family outing a total success!

This is the place to go in Guelph when you are craving Greek food. I love the chicken suvlaki combo its delicious. My wife always gets the cousins burger its also quite tasty.
