I usually order take out but their portions are generous and they have delicious food.

Went on a Saturday at 6:30 pm and the restaurant was literally empty. Ordered the large family platter and they brought it out within 10 minutes. The chicken was dry, chewy and tasteless (felt like it was cooked from before). The qabuli rice had hair in it. Salad was soggy. Spent $135 for this food . Very disappointing. Do not recommend!

Foods ok. Service is pretty crappy. Dine in is impossible because they havent had a washroom available to the public any time Ive been there, except once & then it was so disgusting it should have been considered a hazard. The atmosphere just isnt there. I know some people love the place but I have never had the privilege of a good experience there. Dietary restrictions: Not well educated in the allergy awareness and dietary restrictions. Parking: Lots of parking as its located in a large lot Wheelchair accessibility: Its hard to get it and out for those disabled.

Really yummy food, great value. Ordered twice for delivery and it arrived promptly and piping hot. Whole family loves this place.

Potentially good if eaten at the restaurant but they have zero clues about packaging for delivery. Tzatziki tasty enough but sent out in containers without lids and a packing box too big for the plastic bag so stacked on its side in the bag. Ditto for the souvlaki and salad, so driver hands me the two bags and I get upstairs and everything has leaked out into the bags and as you can see in the photos what a mess. Pita stale store bought. Edit: Just opened the salad and rather than proper feta on the Greek salad it was shredded mozza and the lettuce is soggy. File complaint with Uber and they give me a pittance on price of my meal which wasnt cheap. I dont mind paying for good food and delivery but this is disgusting and $50 for the pleasure. If you are going to offer take out/delivery get proper packaging for the job.

I order from them on too good to go the other day, I came in for the first time and was greeted with the most pleasant environment and dining room experience followed by the staff being incredibly friendly and good energy. The food they gave tasted incredible and I asked for a second serving for my friend, when I offered to pay they smiled and told me it s on the house. Incredible staff, beautiful date location, keep up the great work and environment!

We catered from Royal Cuisine for about 100 people and the food was tasty and plenty. They are very flexible and will cater to your needs. Would definitely recommend!!!!

My experience is placing an order and having it wrong. We pay good money for the service of having food delivered. My wife cannot eat onion. It was the only thing she asked to keep of the guro and the salad. Apparently the idiots working today cant read. 2 different types of onion were put on both items we needed them off of. You want a good review, how about hiring people that can read and pay attention. This is not skip the dishes fault. This is your. Absolutely terrible.

Ordered a chicken Greek salad with tzatziki on the side. The salad was extremely soggy and no tzatziki was included. I called them to rectify the mistake and they hung up on me and refused to pick up the phone (called many times). My guess is since they were closing soon they did not want to remake the food. TIP: Check your to-go order before leaving the location. Very disappointing customer service. EDIT: the restaurant responded below. I respect small businesses however you should respect your customers. You hung up on me and I tried calling back over 10 times (off my phone and another number - see below screenshot). Instead of lying you should take some accountability that you did not want to address the matter and rectify the situation.

As a very serious foodie, this is probably my favourite restaurant in Guelph. Their food is consistently delicious, and Im amazed at how seamlessly they move between Afghan and Greek cuisines. Their Greek food is as good as any Greek food Ive eaten on the Danforth. Their portions are also exceptionally generous. I found their shawarma a tiny bit dry, but the gyro (beautifully cooked and seasoned), tandoori (surprisingly and deliciously spicy), moussaka (the best Ive ever tasted. No grease and a very reasonable beef element), souvlaki, are all exceptional. Unlike with most other restaurants, I find myself deciding amongst several favourites every time I order. I never have a go to here because everything is so good and so worth trying.

Amazing food and awesome service! They did catering for my husbands birthday party and everyone loved the food. There was more than enough and the price was great. I highly recommend royal cuisine, eat in, take out, or catering.

We loved this place. Only problem is more than once we did not receive our full order. I phoned them as we didnt recieve our sons meal. They rudely said it was packed in the bag and was not thier problem. I emailed the manager and they wont respond. I was trying to support a family business. Not anymore. They have no regards to thier customers. Do not order from here. They will steal your money.

Vegetarian options: We had a very enjoyable lunch. We got takeout, and by the time we got it home, it was still hot and extremely fresh. They have very good portions. One lunch fed me for two days. We will definitely get food from the restaurant again.

I had the chicken shawarma wrap and I cannot help but be disappointed with it. There was far too much sauce, and there wasnt any part of the wrap that wasnt completely covered, and I couldnt taste anything within the wrap beyond the garlic and hot sauces.

Tried their Too Good to Go food. Theirs is nothing about saving food from going to waste, or offering a better price on leftover food at the end of the day. The Too Good to Go program is being used here as another outlet for sales

Great portions I got the greek chicken dish and my partner got a beef dish. We were both very pleased with our meals and will definitely come again.

Being a fan of Mediterranean cooking, I was looking forward to a delicious authentic Greek meal. What I had was far from that. All three dips from their Royal dip platter were bland, the souvlaki chicken dry and the rice and potatoes were tasteless. We left most of what we ordered, no take out tray thanks.

Royal Cuisine?... more like Royal Disappointment. We ordered 3 dishes ,left them mostly uneaten. The most flavourful part of the meal was the Kirkland Costco bottled water they sell for $1. The atmosphere is that of a cold apartment building lobby which gets overrun by St.James high-school students at lunchtime and basically acts as their school cafeteria.

I went for the first time for dinner I got the gyro/Greek salad and a piece of unbelievably fresh and delicious this was the best gyro I have had in ontario i will be a repeat repeat!!!!!!!!! Customer. And I have a meal idea for them lol 100/100 would recommend to everyone

Really nice food. Huge portions. It s more like quick service and a bit awkward about if you need to go up to get menus or not. You do go up and order and pay but it s not clear at first. But the food makes up for it. Very yummy and great value.

Definitely not a shawarma wrap. It was still pretty good. But, FAR from shawarma. It was more like a pita with chicken and a salad with Catalina or French salad dressing. I probably won t go back. But, good for people that like a sweeter tasting pita wrap.

Had a dinner with my family at this location. I found out that (1) the service was excellent, (2) food was quick, fresh and tasty and (3) the dining area was nice. Above all of these, the price was reasonable. I would obviously return to this restaurant and recommend to all.

Often order their great shawarma, wonderful lamb shank, and the royal mantu, which is such an amazing unique dish it is often sold out! Always disappointed when it is because the Royal mantu is amazing! Their Tzatziki and Greek dishes don t disappoint either. They have great food, but their restaurant always seems empty, not sure why.

I love their food! Good portions and friendly workers. I ordered from them a few years ago before they used skipthedishes and they were still delivering it on their own. I ordered over $100 worth of food and when I went to pay something went wrong with the machine and it didnt tip the driver. Regardless of the driver driving across town and delivering this much food without tip he was still super friendly. I fixed the tip after

This is the second time I ve done a surprise take a box and each time I can feel completely ripped off and the taste is brutal. It s boring it s always the same rice in a little chicken with some cheap french fries. There are many other Greek places in town went on that side and the other one on the south end of town. Both are far better save your money Your time and it won t be left down. Honestly, I ve tried this place now twice and it s the same Bla twice.

Fantastic, fresh, fast and friendly! Ridiculously good both times weve ordered in the past two weeks. Portions are generous and the naan is so squishy! The tandoori chicken, lamb souvlaki, chicken shawarma were all cooked to perfection. Definitely our new go to for takeout.

So I went for the very first time and i ordered the family meal and let me tell you...its a tonne of food. Lots of rice. The moussaka was really good and wished i had more of it. I even ordered a shwarma and it was enough for two. A bit too saucy for me but again i let them make it so Ill remember the next time. Reasonable prices and their online ordering was really good.

Came in today for takeout lunch, they went from empty to about 150 St. James students for the lunch rush. Was quite impressed how well they were organized and got through everyone in a timely manner, including my takeout order. I ordered the Sultani and it was great. Good size portions and the meats were seasoned just right. Really like their chutney sauce too, make sure to ask for that. Well surely return and most definitely recommend the Royal Cuisine. Check them out if youre near the east end.

We have always enjoyed Afghan and Greek dishes so we decided to try Royal Cuisine. The menu was extensive so it was difficult choosing. We ordered the Salmon Athena, Royal Three Dip Platter and the Jumbo Bolani. I must say the food was amazingly delicious and it was sufficient food for four meals. We will definitely be regular patrons and will happily recommend them to friends and family. Thank you Royal Cuisine for such wonderful food.

It hurt my stomach when I ate in the morning. Busy restaurants have fresh food every morning this was not fresh would not recommend!!

Honestly, will not come back solely because of the rude and unprofessional behaviour. When I ordered close to a $200 meal and pointed out that the chicken was not fully cooked I wasn t even able to get a word in by the lady on the phone. She was extremely pretentious and wasn t even listening or willing to accept her mistake claiming that she did not need my business. WILL NOT GO BACK.

Their Greek offerings are excellent! Pricing isn t too bad too even after the Covid price hikes that have been seen everywhere. I really love their chicken pita with greek salad and their pretty quick too. I ve had better Afghan food elsewhere in town but it s still decent. Especially if your wife likes Afghan and you prefer Greek, then this place is perfect.

How can you expect to run a business if you are so demeaning and disrespectful towards your customers. The lady that owns this place needs to learn some manners. She did not even care that there was an issue with the food, which had been her mistake. Learn some professionalism and how to take some accountability.

We had the chicken souvlaki for takeout. The chicken was marinated and grilled just right, the rice and roast potatoes were both excellent and the Greek salad was absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced and they give you a lot of food. Highly recommended!

This is based on the food alone but I ordered a shawarma thinking it was a safe bet. What I got was a pita wrap with chicken with an overpowering amount of cinnamon (one of the bark I happened to get in the first bite which wasn t all too pleasant). You can kind of tell from the outset this isn t quality food but to charge 10 bucks for something very clearly not a shawarma was disappointing.

Nothing special not much taste went at 6pm on a Friday. Really want Royal Mantu but staff told me they had a catering order and all the Mantu has been given. Why would you sell out of Mantu so early on a Friday night, make some extra . To me that shows you dont care about your customers who are coming to dine.

Family cooking at reasonable prices. Cant beat that!

One of the best afghani restaurant I have ever been . Everything is so delicious and it tastes so much like homemade food cause it s so fresh and made with love. The stuff are kind and they do their best to serve you on time . I wish it was near to my house so I could come more often it s like 1 hour far but still we come here every weekend it s that good .

We had the worst experience from this restaurant, because they re overpriced in other Afghan restaurants they give you free salad and fresh bread but this restaurant sell them way too expensive also the most important thing is customer service which they don t have it at all, the girl works there stare at you like you own them something I don t recommend this to no one.

Disappointed that Royal Cuisine is misusing the Too Good To Go App (Claim 2 cups of plain rice and a potato is $20 worth of food) - it threatens programs to reduce food waste

Great customer service, very punctual and super friendly. I placed an order with them for my daughters birthday and I was a bit nervous planning it all. But one thing I did not have to worry about was the delicious food! They came at the time we agreed, the food was delicious and hot to the touch. so many of my guests asked about them! I would 100% order from them again to cater for any and all my events. Wajma Jan was so kind, she answered all my questions and was very patient!
