Me and my friend went there few weeks back and the owners were so nice. When we said we re from Nepal they both came and talked to us and even gave us a free Pop. The aunty was so nice that she gave me so many jeera soup at last coz I said I liked it. We ordered fried rice and it was the best thing.

*Disappointing Service* We recently dined in as a group of three, but our experience was marred by poor service. We asked a female staff member if we could sit at a round table, and she rudely replied, You cant sit there. When I asked why, she said it was because we were a group of three. No reservation or explanation was given. This wasnt the service we expected. Unfortunately, we can only give one star for this experience.

We had a disappointing experience due to the poor service we received. The waitress was quite rude and unwelcoming, showing little interest in taking our order or checking in on us during the meal. The naan we ordered was burnt too. Overall, it was a very frustrating dining experience.

Tried so many things and every dish is flavorful 1. Manchurian and fried rice are good. 2. Tried veg momos. Tasty stuffing. Momos can be improved by making them with thinner layer. 3. Noodles are really tasty. 4. Mango Lassi is good too. 5. My friend liked butter chicken as well. Hosts are great people. Lovely experience

Old school ambience. Delicious food i ever had. We had garlic naan, paneer makhni, bhindi do pyaza, paneer chilli, veg steam momo, manchaou soup, gulab jamoon. Everything was perfect. I ordered gulab jamun from them and i got stale gulab jamun . It seems like they used old oil for cooking or old Stock. We are not taking anything in free at-least they have to served fresh foods that is what exactly least except from them .

The food at this restaurant is undeniably delicious and bursting with flavor. From the first bite to the last, every dish was a culinary delight. Regrettably, the tantalizing flavors of the dishes served here are overshadowed by the abysmal service. Despite the delectable offerings on the menu, the experience was soured by the incredibly poor service provided by the (small boy), I think, no staff. From rude and inattentive boy to prolonged waits for orders and bill settlement, it was a disappointing ordeal from start to finish. Managements apparent indifference to these issues only exacerbated the situation. Unless there are significant improvements in service quality, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

The food is really really good, and a great halal option. I order from here often, sometimes even once a week! I will continue to come here more because they made their menu fully halal. My favorites are the Szechwan noodles, chicken Biryani, and chili chicken!

My honest review on Bombay kitchen buffet Frozen spring roll and frozen samosa - not a shop made one. Only butter chicken is available for non vegetarians. Veg noodles, Dalmakhini rice, channa masala, sweet, that s it in the menu. They can remove this buffet. Otherwise they have to improve a lot. Overall very average place for buffet

We ordered this restaurants food through Uber eats. The driver somehow delivered us food from a completely different restaurant. We called Bombay Kitchen and they went out of their way to help us by getting a full refund from Uber Eats and they even remade our order and the owner himself delivered the food to us. We cant talk enough about how great the customer service is here and the food is absolutely delicious. 100% recommend.

Im surprised this place gets such low reviews. The food is always delicious. Though the service is friendly, bur can be a little slow at times for the dine in even during non-peak hours, but they have a tonne of take out business as well. Love the Vindaloo and Onion Bhaji. Will definitely return.

A small place in the heart of Guelph Downtown. This gives a good Indian restaurant vibe. We ordered Hakka egg noodles and veg manchurian. It was good and one bowl of noodles was good enough for two people. The hosts were really friendly. We will try to go back again to try some other items on the menu. Has good amount of vegetarian options.

Extremely bad food. Rude Owner/staff. Unhygienic: the owner lady was literally coughing on the utensils and food and wasn t even wearing the mask. We ordered 3 Man-chow soup, all three were different consistency and when we told them about it, instead of acknowledging the owner lady started fighting that everything is from the same pan.

I got the Lamb Biryani and it was delicious!! A good amount of lamb chunks and the flavour of the rice was very tasty. It lasted me about 2 dinner portions and 1 smaller lunch portion with some sides of my own. Highly recommend!!

Overall 3.5 stars. When you enter it feels like very cheap restaurant. The ambiance, decor and presentation needs to be updated. However the staff was very friendly. We ordered a lot of food which we asked for med spicy but it was still spicy for us. We were the only one in the restaurant but it took them almost half hour to get our food on the table. We liked their naan, tandoori roti and curries. Their Chinese items which we ordered with gravy had too much gravy but less prawns I felt !! Will I come to this restaurant for DINE IN!? not at all but I will order the food for TAKE AWAY sure thing. 3.5 stars because friendly staff and food.

We hadnt eaten all day and saw this restaurant and walked in at 5pm today to eat something. We asked them to serve us something quickly so we ordered butter chicken and garlic Nan. The nans were good but didnt like the chicken at all. I also ordered chilli chicken to take away at home, that also didnt taste good at all the chicken was so hard I think it was stale.

Very good service and food

I ordered Veggie noddles yesterday during lunch time and Every time there noddles taste good but yesterday there noddles taste awful. It tastes like the noddles were mixed with the leftover noodles from the last few days. Moreover I left a note to make it mild spicy and They made it extra extra spicy that I ended up throwing in the garbage bin.

I just ordered my food around 4pm. Aloo prantha and vegetable Momos. Momos were okey but the prantha was totally undercooked. I had to throw the whole prantha in garbage. Very disappointed. I spend almost 6 dollar on it and there was nothing else comes with it no yogurt and pickles. You can add one or two dollar more but atleast give something to eat with it. It totally ruined my lunch.

We will not be ordering from here again. After years of picking up take out from here, the quality has been declining for some time. Tonight was the final straw. The palak paneer was rancid and full of oil. The butter chicken had FOUR tiny pieces of chicken. The naan was saturated in oil. We always try to support small downtown businesses but I m done with this one.

This review is more for myself, Im on the hunt for the best chili chicken out there, the chili chicken served here not the traditional Asian type that you would find in most places or true haka restaurants, but the owners are nice and its a long standing business in Guelph that you should support. Im curious to try their haka noodles next, but the chili chicken is not it. They also dont have any lunch specials, which would be a great way to sample the many items on their menu instead of spending $20 to find out and end up not liking the dish anyway. The portion size is good, the gravy is super watery and does not really taste good whatsoever. To be honest, they have big chunks of chicken that prefer small chunks of chicken, even though I had it right away, it wasnt crispy, it was not the worst chili chicken Ive ever had, but it was nowhere near the expectations I had, especially with the price of the dish. Im still open to trying their noodles sometime and leaving the review specifically for those, Im on the hunt for the best chili chicken and unfortunately when it comes to Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph, there doesnt seem to be many contenders.

I went with a group of friends right before Halloween, and it was amazing! Right next to trappers but no noise inside. The food is served hot and delicious, and the naan is soft!

Ordered take out. 2 butter chicken orders barely got enough to feed one person. 5 of the tiniest chicken pieces in each Order. Price has gone up and quanity has gone way down. 1 Order use to feed 2 people now its a snack at best. Very disappointed in the drop on service. I hope this is a one off but will not be ordering in again.

Ordered chicken tikka masala. Got paneer tikka instead. They tried to convince me to have paneer instead of changing it to chicken. Chicken tikka curry was tastless. Bathrooms smells and sucks. Never going to this restaurant again. Will not recommend it to anyone.

Overpriced food. Less portions of chicken in a 17 dollar curry and its not worth it.To be exact around small 6 flavoruless chicken pieces. We ordered chicken tikka masala and I dont even know whats chicken tikka masala anymore. Washroom smells really bad. The guy turned off the exhaust fans as we moved out of washroom. Great location in charming Guelph town, fast service and quality biryani and soya chaap followed by aromatic tea and warm conversation with the Nepali owner made this dinner time quite memorable. Would surely visit next time Vegetarian options: Good range of vegetarian options

All food were flavourful and edible. Quantity is quite less in compare to price and other place 1 dish is not enough if you are party of 5 people. One of the dish was pinch of salty. Our experience was quite average I would no specially go to visit this place, but I am around and dont have any option definitely I can visit. Biryani was not traditional biryani but it was really flavourful, not looking that great but edible. Biryani was good quantity but raita offered with it was like chatni not enough for whole dish of biryani. Our waiter was extremely nice but there is room for improvement on food quantity, slightly quality and presentation.

Got the spicy butter chicken with rice at fast casual speed. Tender chicken, big portion size - I saved half for later. Sauce was a bit oily but thats richness for you.

We ordered an hour and a half before close, they sent the wrong food and REFUSED to resend our food. They have ripped us off for a lot of money and tried to tell us to eat what was delivered. They also argued that our $60 order was worth less than the $30 order that was delivered. An absolute joke and we will NEVER order from this establishment again.

I have just shifted to Guelph, I was so happy to see this restaurant in downtown BUT my excitement was turned into a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT I ordered Momos ( I was unable to have even 1 ), Veg noodles ( was unable to have more than a bite ), the best customer service was when the owner came with the bill, he was not bothered about asking what was wrong with the food but I overheard him talking to the waitress ( unhone Kuch khaya Nhi .. lol , Pucho to Kyu ) . Maybe the cook was not interested that day. To add on the washroom stinks and feels like a public toilet at Mumbai bus stop I hope the other menu is better A BLUNDER FOR ME I hope they try to improve

The food was really delicious. We tried vegetarian food and I strongly suggest trying Dry Panner chilly. Veg Biryani was another great dish that we tried. Overall it was a great experience.

There were a few customers, but only ONE person to attend them, receive phone calls, serve food. Told us that itd take 15-20 minutes to get the food ready, but served the foods starting at 30 minutes through an hour. Totally UNACCEPTABLE.

They served halal food and it was tasty. But it was an weird experience. The foods were coming slowly and the others were being cold. After enquiry we came to know that they had employee shortage at that moment and the owner made the meal. We waited nearly one hour for the foods.

Authentic South Indian Cuisine. Chef is from Kerala. One of the best kerala fish curries and Lachha paratha ever. Highly Recommend to try this place out.

Myself and my 2 year old cousin and her grandparents visited the restaurant yesterday. The service we got was exceptional. I have to mention Binita who worked there, she was so caring and took care of us in way that I have never ever seen in any restaurants that I have been in Canada till date. The food was really good as well, anybody who goes that way if you wanna try Indian food, I strictly recommend you to visit Bombay Kitchen.

The place serve best indian cuisine in Guelph.The service at place was top notch especially a person name Binita she was really cute and welcoming she make sure to assist us in every possible way, I would give 5/5 for service. I would higly recommend to go and check the place if you like spicy and delicious food go for it .

This was our first time ordering from Bombay Kitchen. We enjoyed most of our meal except for the Tandoori beef. The heat was perfect, but the salt content was over the top. I am a salt user, so I know I can handle salt, but this was unpalatable.

Not worth it. First time trying this place and we were very disappointed. First, their prep time for our food was insane, we ordered online and was given 45 mins which i thought was fair considering the amount of food we purchased. Once we went to pick up it was actually 70 mins from our initially placed order time we received our food. They gave us a dessert complimentary, i think 10% should have been discounted considering we spend over $100. Second, it felt like we were ripped off paying $16 per dish. All the dishes we ordered were meat dishes, 1. beef, 2.chicken, 3.lamb. all the dishes we have the portion to meat to curry was about 20% meat & 80% curry. only thing they have going is the the curry tasted great. Dont waste your hard earned money here, there are better Indian restaurants out there.

I was in town for a business meeting and I google Indian restaurants nearby. I have seen nice comments about their food and service. In our case that was the opposite way. We have ordered no spicy food at all and the server forget to mention that to the kitchen guy. The noodle was super spicy and the butter chicken was more like sugar syrup. No one was bothered about their mistake. We left the noodles untouched. And on top of that, they serve the food and no plates. That was my favourite part. we literally have to ask for plates. NOT Recommended at all.

The wait time was so so beyond long. The waitress barely came by to check in. had to get up to put menus away. The place only had one other family there and they forgot to bring my drink. The food tasted ok, the drink did not. Overall completely unsatisfying experience. Sorry to say :(

I placed and order online and when I went to pick it up, they said they missed it and asked me to wait for another 15 minutes. I waited to pick up food for 45 minutes in total. Momos were raw. Like literally raw. The food was so oily. The paneer chilly quantity was so less. I was so disappointed.

We have been here once and figured its not a place worth visiting twice. The soup we ordered was too starchy. Waitress asked us for spice level and yet it came just as bland, tasteless stew. No water offered or served till we finished our appetizers. No great ambiance either.

The only good thing that happened to me in this town is this restaurant. Been so long since I had such an authentic and delicious biryani. Serving size was good amount and the gentlemen serving us there was extremely hospitable!

We ordered for pickup and when we went there for pickup, we requested the server that if we can dine in , even though we mentioned in the comments that we will eat at the restaurant ( we just placed the order online so we don t have to wait for the food to get ready as it usually rake like 30 mins ) . She was so rude with us and said that no she can not allow us to sit there and eat our food. Ultimately we had to go out and eat on the roadside. Thankfully another server from other restaurant offered us seat and we ate there. Poor customer service.

Despite the fact that the ground was sticky and the bathroom dirty (-1 star), the food was amazingly good and the service was awesome. I would recommend to precise the level of spiciness you would like as it is really spicy for any people not use to it like me (from Belgium).

We tried this restaurant on weekday.. not much crowdy as ambience is not that much good but so many delivery orders they have as their food tastes good... We have ordered veg Manchurian which reminds me the taste of indian manchurian... It was yummy... Main course was also nice as we have ordered dal makhani, paneer kadhai with garlic naan... Overall the food tastes good if ignore the ambience...
