Scamming people by selling gobi Manchurian and instead giving Nirmal manchurian and u have order two times and first time u thought it must be crushed cauliflower or something but u felt something wrong and then again today I ordered gravy gobi manchurian and they sent this Wrong order totally and fooling people by taking money for something else and selling something else..

The restaurant is very good and the service is amazing. However the food does not taste exactly the same. I also felt the khada masala was used more than needed. They may improve these things. Vegetarian options: They have many veg options.

Oct 31, 2024, Dine-In We are very Disappointed. They were disrespectful. We asked for menu, after a bit of struggle we got, we got response that scan QR code for menu! ouch! Is this a fine dine-in restaurant or fast food place? Nevertheless, the music they were playing was too loud as if someone is hammering your head. We said multiple times to change or reduce volume - they did not listen. Every time we said something other person is arguing. You do not argue with customers! Food: NOT GOOD. We ordered few items: Jira Rice: there was no jira (cumin seeds), other than zira all other items which we do not recognize were there, we asked for plain rice, they said they have zira rice, ouch! such a simple thing rice how can anyone make any mistake. Methi Malai Matar: There was no methi, malai, but paneer (cheese), we did not order for paneer item and to our surprise they gave us paneer item when we asked something else. NOT GOOD. It was too salty as well. Dal makahani: They really do not know how to cook Dal. It was too salty and there was no makhhan (butter), we in fact requested butter but they did not cook very good. Roti: Roti was stretching like rubber! ouch! VERY SAD. Overall, Kolkata Club turned out to be BAD CLUB. STAY AWAY IF YOU DO NO WANT TO GO THROUGH EMBARRASSMENT WITH YOUR GUESTS.

Today I ordered chilly momos from the restaurant I m honestly shocked at how bad the chilly momos were. The filling was bland and felt stale, like it had been sitting around for days. The taste was terrible no balance of spices, just a strange, overly salty mess that was hard to eat. The momos themselves were chewy and unpleasant, and the dish had none of the authentic flavors I was expecting and I had to garbage the momos at the end. The presentation was sloppy, and it looked like no effort was made to make the dish appealing For the price I paid, I expected much better quality but it s all waste now. I definitely wouldn t recommend Kolkata Club to anyone, they are the worst.

Ordered Kadhai chicken few hours ago and to be honest it was one of the most pathetic dish that I had. I just throw it in garage.No taste, thin gravy ( too red in color, may be they use food colour), too salty. I guess the management should taste Kadhai chicken by themselves before serving it to customers. I ordered food from them earlier also and their food quality has gone down drastically. Hope management will look into it.

From last one and half year I m fan of all maas and garlic nana but now it wors experience may be they change chef now it s not worth to order anything from them.

Visit in recent months and never disappointed with taste and staff greetings. In few visits its my one of too list indian and Hakka restaurant. Must visit and recommended.

Had lunch there on a whim because we had a craving for biryani. Ordered the chicken coconut and it was delicious. The meat was tender and the spices fragrant. Portions are huge! Our waiter, Mana/Manvi (unsure how to spell his name) added to the experience with his attentive and charming demeanor. He struck the perfect balance between being helpful and unobtrusive. We were treated to a complimentary dessert (can t remember the name) that was yummy. We had a great experience and will be back.

My wife and I have dined at Kolkata Club and I have dined a few times with my university colleagues. We have also ordered takeout food. In all instances, the food, atmosphere and service were EXCELLENT! The waitress (Ravleen) is very pleasant and is so kind to the customers. She goes beyond herself to make sure that the customers are well-looked after!! Further, the wide menu choice this restaurant displays cannot be found in any Indian restaurants in Guelph. Never miss the many chicken dishes they offer, especially the Achari Chicken!! Well Done!

Great place to have authentic Indian food ..spicy level as you love fresh biryani and curry naan was soft and moist . Our server owner Manan was great attentive lots of knowledge gave us privacy room will highly recommend . Especially open late night till 4am on weekends So much thanks to owner Manan and team.

Maanvi had great service

Wonderful food, Manvi provided amazing service, checking on us often and refilling water when needed. Weirdly, they changed the music after we (the only diners) sat down to some 2010s pop. Quite odd but I can look past it for the curry.

I absolutely loved the experience. Kudos to the sous chef for killing it tonight with the butter chicken, lamb biryani , achari ghosht, and tandoori chicken. It was my birthday and they served us with hospitality

We just had a fantastic first meal here. Had heard about it from 4 different people and it didn t disappoint. Kay , our server was very good, attentive but not too close. We had appetizers and mains the Madras chicken we chose medium spice level and loved it. The chicken korma was another choice and also delicious. The sauces with naan and rice excellent. Some leftovers to enjoy tomorrow too! We ll be back! Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious!

We went for a family dinner this past weekend and it was the worst. Please do not go with 5 stars. Half of their menu items were not available and then server herself did not know if they have that particular menu item available or not. Food quality was okay okay. I am never going back here. Please save your time and money! Reply to Restaurant comments: There was no beer on Tap, Blonde beer was not there. Taps are only for the show . I asked for Vodka Cocktail, she again told me that she has to check at the back. Then We asked for Veg momos, server did not even know if its available or not, she had to go back and forth for multiple items to check if its available or not. She came back that they dont have Veg momos at all. We asked for Apple juice for kid and she said she has to check if they have apple juice. There was no apple juice and without asking she brought Orange juice LoL worst customer service. Since you have nothing else to say about your service, this is the best cover up you can come up with! This restaurant has edited their reply cuz initially they replied to my feedback with so rude language.. I WISH I had taken screenshot of their SO RUDE reply to feedback customers provide. Definitely never ever giving this place another chance. They don t even know how to take on a feedback.

We had a delicious dinner here after moving our daughters in to study at the university. The restaurant is lovely. Customer service from Kay was warm, friendly, prompt and very helpful. So we just had our first meal here and it was unbelievably good. We ordered vegetarian dishes, each one was uniquely delicious. And to top it all off we had an excellent waitress. I asked for the least spice level and yet the food arrived extremely spicy. The lamb was not cooked well and it was so rough that we could not cut it. Won t come back for their food and won t recommend to anyone who s trying their food and is expecting lower levels of spiciness. The server was nice.

Visited this place recently, everything was cooked to perfection, we really liked Lahsuni Cauliflower recommended to us by our server Komal. She was very welcoming, overall vibe was good and we greatly enjoyed Komal s hospitality, she did really well accommodating our requests. Would definitely recommend.

Best Indian food in Guelph and Ive tried a lot of the restaurants! Me and my boyfriend just had the most amazing experience eating at the Kolkata club! The food and service was amazing. Our server s name was Kay and not only was she incredibly sweet, but also so knowledgeable about the menu. She offered us recommendations right off the bat taking into account our preferences and dietary restrictions. The recommendations she gave were spot on and we both really enjoyed our meals. We definitely plan to return and I recommend anyone looking for great food and service come to this establishment.

We visited this restaurant in guelph for dinner while coming back from elora george. The ambiance is good. They serve papads were complimentary but very oily. Except veggie fried momos, the food was good. Chicken momos were good. Dal tadka was tasty. We ordered bombay style chicken which was a but different and tasted good. The service was good as it wasnt that crowded on saturday evening. Had wonderful time with friends.

The food was delicious last night as we ordered Naan, butter chicken and sizzler mallai tikka gravy was good. Chilli Garlic Naan butter naan was upto the mark soft as explained by the employee manveer she was good with customer service.

i just placed an take out order chicken 65 biryani i specially mentioned to put cutlery sets,when i reached restaurant and i again asked her to put cutlery set then she replied me yes don t worry i will take of that and i dont know what happened just tell me how can i eat it and one late thing the total was 20.06 dollars i paid 20 in cash and she asked me to intrec 0.06 cents. and i came all the way 15 km.

I visited this place A day before yesterday. I really love the food specially Kolkata fish finger and chiken 65 in starters. Moreover , chiken lababdar and garlic naan were really good and enough quantity. The staff was very friendly and our servent manvi has good communication skill or good knowledge about the menu. i will definitely come there and will also reffer to my friends so that we can also enjoy the delicious food. Thanks to the staff and chef for the tasty food and wonderful service.

The customer service was excellent, although there was a delay in serving the food due to plumbing issues. Despite the wait, the staff took care of us by offering complimentary appetizers and desserts. If you need food recommendations, ask Kay shes very helpful. The food is delicious, and I would come back.
