Toni (in Guelph) was our waitress and was perhaps the BEST server I ve ever experienced, anywhere! Super friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, accommodating and responsive to requests. She honestly could not have been better. The atmosphere is very loud and busy. Nearly frenetic ! Lol. Not the place to go if you want a quiet dinner ! Dietary restrictions: VERY limited options on the menu for anyone with a garlic allergy. There are a couple, but not many !

This is our first time here, and we so loved it. There s such a joy in the staff. They work together so well. The food was delicious. Fresh and good portions. It s an open kitchen, so the whole vibe is very transparent. We sat at a table right next to the bar. It was in the middle of everything, and yet had this very private feel to it. Ive been here twice now and both times have been very good. The fresh pasta and mozzarella are such a treat and the atmosphere is very fun. I look forward to trying all the different pastas on the menu. On my most recent visit, Lily told us the story of Norma, the paper mask overlooking one corner of the restaurant, she was very exited to do so. Her enthusiasm is infectious and was a highlight to the night. Excited to go back.

Place looks wonderful inside, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food options were good with a large selection from three different menus. The food was ok, it was cooked well minus some burnt bread with the appetizer meatball order and it wasnt very warm. (Four tables to serve so....) All dishes served lack proper seasoning, if your going to charge and represent as a higher end restaurant you better get the food right. Overall a lot of good things but the food needs to be spot on and it wasnt unfortunately I had high hopes and they missed. Also how does this location have 1.6k reviews when other large successful chains that have been open for years have significantly less reviews, looks suspicious.

We had a team holiday lunch at this location. Erin took good care of us. It s always tough when catering to a large party but we all enjoyed!

Where s the flavour in your pastas! Too expensive to be so bland. Couldn t taste the garlic or the lemon which was the dish. Boiled shrimp instead of grilled The bread appetizer was offensively sized for the cost. Come on! The reviews here must be fake! One and done for us.

We were seated quickly despite a large party. Taryn was friendly & helpful during our meal and food was delicious.

The first time I came to this place, they ran out of bolognese sauce. I asked for the spaghetti and meatballs instead, at this point, my date was done her meal only for them to come back to tell me that they burnt all the meatballs, and I couldnt get that either. A couple of months later, I give them another chance and get the bolognese sauce they changed the pasta to rigatoni and served it hard not al dente. I send it back and at this point again.My date is already done her meal. Only to get another plate of hard rigatoni. I am a chef by trade, and I used to work at a scaddabush, i know what im talking about, and I will never ever come to this place again.Thank you for wasting my time money, and my celebration dinner. Follow up I emailed siricorp and all I got was next time I came back to let the manager know, and I would have a great experience. The manager knew about the problem my first visit, only to inform me that the meatballs were burnt and there was nothing that I wanted on the menu. An appropriate way to solve this would be a certificate to a Scaddaubush that knows what theyre doing, like in Burlington. The only reason you have such great reviews is because of the employees and the fact that the majority of Guelph are seniors and cant taste anything anymore.

Very oily pasta. Had the pesto penne. Was terrible looked like soup when dropped at the table. Attended with a work party, majority found the same thing oily and unenioyable. To bad as I saw such fantastic reviews.

To be real, the place is great. However, we had 2 servers. Miranda and Evan. Miranda was a gem and deserves recognition for all of her efforts. Evan, tho could use some people skills, advanced training and an attitude check. I m disgusted with how he treated my table. If this company respects their reputation, Evan requires supervision. Very unprofessional and full of himself. Miranda was the only reason we stayed throughout the course of our meal. Kudos to you, Miranda. Great job. Evan, I suggest a different career path. Mediocre food and tiny portions. Might end up spending $100 per person if you are medium/heavy eaters. Extremely limited vegan/vegetarian options. They could at least wash the plates a bit nicely. I had an incredible experience last Wednesday at this restaurant, and I owe so much of that to the amazing service and delicious food. Our server Clana, was absolutely outstanding kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they ensured we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. As for the food, it was exceptional! Every dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. It s clear that both the staff and kitchen truly care about providing an unforgettable dining experience. I can t wait to come back!

We had dinner with our family and grandson as it was my son-in-law s birthday great time was had by all what an amazing experience food was fantastic and service was exceptional. Service was hosted by Sophia. Parking: Plenty of parking as it is attached to a Metro grocery store. Kid-friendliness: Our grandson attended 2 1/2 years old, was able to colour at the table and completely enjoyed his pizza.

Party of 2 on a Saturday night, we got in within less than 10 minutes and had our bellies full within 30 minutes or so! Such quick and amazing service! Lorein (my girl) was an absolute angel of a waitress! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and encouraged us to try new things and I am so glad she did; our meals were fantastic! She was so sweet and attentive! We sat next to the kitchen and a lady working with the bread and desserts was also so sweet and would answer our questions about the meals she was preparing! Sadly I don t know her name but give her & Lorein a raise! They re amazing!

We had an awesome experience at scaddabush, super busy Saturday night and it turned out well, only waited half hour and the gentleman(wish I remembered his name) at the host stand took extra effort to accommodate a booth for my family with small children. Then we had Sophia serving us and she was over the top, with her excellent service, dinner recommendations when I couldn t decide, the mushroom steak was excellent. She was great with the kids and made our experience enjoyable and memorable. We will be back cause it was such a wonderful experience.

Lily provided excellent service, the food came out hot and delicious but the real honourable mention goes to Sydney for her bartending skills. My peanut butter espresso martini was delish, but most importantly she exceeded my Dad s request for his Virgin Caesar to be dressed up with some garnish. She went above and beyond & it totally made his day since virgin drinks don t typically get dressed up with much! What an incredible team thanks again!!!

It was my Frist time at the restaurant and I must say it was a wonderful experience, starting with our waitress Taryn, she was fantastic and kind. The food was pretty good, tasty and plentiful. The dessert was beyond good, was a cheesecake mascarpone, amaretto, hazelnut crust and mixed berries componte. Thank you Taryn for so amazing service.. Everything was perfect, except... it was very cold and we had to keep our coats on.

Food was good, our server Taryn was great, very personable and helpful. Only negative was where we got seated was under a huge, cold draft. We got moved to another table in the area but it was still quite drafty and chilly, I had to keep my coat on during the meal.

This was our second visit to Scadabush, but first time for dinner. Both times the service was exceptional. Attentive, personable, confident, enthusiastic, and fun. Maren was knowledgeable and had great recommendations. We enjoyed the calamari fritt- mix the two dips together- and thank Maren for the suggestion, you won t regret it. My carbonara with the poached egg was creamy and rich and so good. The rigatoni bolognese was fresh and delicious. Both portions were ample and we had just enough leftover for lunch the next day. There are so many more appetizers and pastas/pizzas and mains we are excited to go back to try.

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout and our food was tasty in terms of flavour but absolutely swimming in oil. I was genuinely shocked to see my gnocchi which looked like gnocchi soup (photo attached). The shrimp pasta was no better and came in an absolute pool of oil. Very unappetizing.

Overall we thought it was really overated, werent excited by the menu and the food didnt live up to our expectations. We might be spoiled as Guelph has a lot of great restaurants. We all said we werent likely to come again.

What a great restaurant. I can definitely say as a first timer to Scaddabush that it was excellent! Our server Lily was top notch. Would pick her over any other server at the restaurant, she knows her stuff! Take that other servers! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for the food and atmosphere.

Lily is a beautiful sweet, cheerful server ! Would come back just for her to be our server again and the food of course!

Gorgeous restaurant with a lively vibe! Spectacular carbonara and squash ravioli. Ava, our server was very friendly and gave us great service.

My boyfriend and I dined in yesterday night for dinner at the Guelph location and we were beyond happy with our experience! We had a new server, I believe his name was Daniel, he was fantastic, very polite and conversational, it was great! As a server myself, I have been in that atmosphere and he did a great job handling everything and all around! Food was impeccable, we wanted to order 1 of everything! The only small small thing about the whole experience was that it was very cold in there, it felt as if the window right beside us was cracked open and it was pouring rain that day. Not sure if the AC was just above us or not but if youre going, think about putting an extra layer on. Other than that everything was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

Went a couple days ago, our server Emma was absolutely pleasant and made our experience enjoyable. She was so helpful in recommending her favourite menu items, and everything she recommended was delicious. Will definitely be coming back to have her as our server again!
