35 Harvard Rd Unit 26, Guelph, ON N1G 3A2, Canada
Good experience - no frills and straight authentic quality Korean food as per the chain. Reasonably priced and good tasting food. Food comes piping hot and also served with side dishes.
We had a great experience! The food was plentiful and delicious, the owner - who served us - was kind and affable! We will definitely be back soon!
Comfort and quality, this place hits the spot for delicious Korean food. We always get their Korean fried chicken because it is just that good. Everything else on their menu is amazing too. Even my parents have went to this place multiple times and they never go out to eat. One of the best spots in Guelph for sure.
I recently visited the Owl of Minerva and had an amazing experience. The Korean food was incredibly tasty, full of flavor, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was bustling with customers. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Korean food and a lively atmosphere. *Additional Tips:* - Be prepared for a lively atmosphere, as the restaurant can get busy - Try the beef soup, fried chicken, and japchae which are all highly recommended - Don't forget to order a side of pancakes, which are a pleasant surprise -
We had a group dinner in the shop. We like the food and staffs are polite and friendly. The Korean food is way better than I expected, hot food with great flavors. If you couldn’t go on spicy food feel free to tell the staff to go with mild spicy:)
The food was really good. We got one of the sizzling plates, it’s the pork one. We also got the sweet and spicy fried chicken. Both were really good! I recommend getting extra rice because the food is so flavourful. We also got the pork dumplings, they were good but the sauce could be a little sweeter. There’s limited seating but it’s not busy before 5pm, but it got packed right after we got there. When you eat there you also get unlimited side dishes, including kimchi, spicy cucumber, and sweet bean sprouts.
The waiters and waitresses are always really friendly every time we come here. I am a bit of a picky eater so I get the Dolsot BiBimBap every time but it’s always really good! The DdukBokGi is also a staple every time we come here, the rice cakes are always perfect. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is cause it’s a bit overpriced (but to be fair they do have big portions).
Stayed in Guelph for the weekend while going to the Fergus Scottish Festival with husband and son. The Famous Owl of Minerva was one of the places that I wanted to try for food (first time trying Korean) we were not disappointed. Seating in the restaurant was small but comfy. The service was great and the food was amazing. We started off with a side that had kimchi, bean sprouts tossed in a toasted sesame oil and cucumber, onion mixed with a sweet dressing which they give you while your waiting for your food and we even got seconds. My son ordered the #19 Sae-U BokeumBap which was stir fried shrimp with rice, assorted vegatables and fried egg on top. My husband got the #18 KimChi BokEumBap which is stir fried kimchi with rice, assorted vegatables with a fried egg on top. I got the #11 MaeEun BulGoGi which is stir fried spicy marinated beef and noodles on a sizzling plate with rice. The price for all was reasonable for all 3 meals I even had some left overs. I am happy I got to try it. When in the area again I will go back. Good thing I could walk there from the Delta Hotel it was through the side parking lot there was a small walkway to the left.
I have been to this place more than a dozen times, and every time, I encounter the best Korean food this city has to offer.
Very polite owners and staff and a great pre gym meal, very good rich flavors that you dont find often, my meal was the shrimp fried rice and egg and it was amazing with some Siracha, go ahead and give this place a try, I will be going back for sure!
They dont make available as soon as they open. They could prepared it as soon as they get started for the day which is usually an hour before opening as most restaurants do. Food is great though, just the house tea not offered for the first hour of opening for the reason I stated.
Loyal to this place
I m so happy that there s a Korean restaurant in Guelph. The food is delicious and authentic, with great service. I highly recommend it!
Absolutely love the food they serve. Our go to is the pork bone soup (Kamja tang) and Kimchi Jjigae. We have tried the LA kalbi, bulgogi, Ddukbokgi, their fried chicken etc. All of which were soo delicious! Would recommend 100% for anyone looking to taste some hot, spicy, and filling Asian food.
We love this location! We come here quite often. The staff is friendly and thr service is outstanding. Would definitely recommend this location to others.
Members of our group ordered a variety of dishes and all were absolutely delicious. Very fast and friendly service, generous portion sizes. We were all very impressed and look forward to eating here again.
I had a very unpleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The owner and staff displayed a clear bias against Asian customers. they openly mocked us loudly, Such behavior is highly disrespectful and rude. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Incredible food here, fresh and delicious! Its going to be my new go-to place for comfort food. I also love that theres a nice variety of spice levels here. I like very spicy food but theres also options for milder food that is very good. You can tell that their food is fresh because the menu changes depending on what is in season, thats always a great sign
Food really tasted good. Portion to price ratio is not justified. Too pricey for their portion. I can name other good Korean restaurants with better portions. My experience with their service was not great either. Asked for their tea and it was not ready so the girl offered me hot water instead?!?!?!?!?!?!? I thought I misheard so I said yes. Another time my friend and I just sat not even two seconds and the girl asked what we wanted from the menu. I was so confused.
Poor costumer assistance!
You have to try the sweat spicy chicken! YUM.
Received overcooked chicken, felt like I was biting into a bit of tree bark. Some of the pork also tasted a salty, and not just an oddly salty but a Did someone accidentally unscrew the lid on the salt shaker? kind of salty.
Authentic Korean food with great service!
We ate here as a family to celebrate school achievements. Fast, friendly service. Large helpings for the price. Food delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.
Best place for Korean foods, no doubt. The price is bit high though. Very casual atmosphere
Food portions are huge, food is always delicious, and quality is consistent. Authentic Korean food and I love the complimentary side dishes! I highly recommend coming here if youre craving Korean food or if youre up for trying something new.
This is my favorite Korean cuisine restaurant! I love their dishes and my personal favorite is the Dak ChulPan. I have recommended this place to a lot of my friends and they all love it too. The staff members are very friendly. I feel like the dishes are a little over priced but the quality is really good. The side dishes can be ordered again without charge. Plenty of parking space in the front. Really love this place!
The wait staff was friendly but the food was bland, and uninspired. I came here from Cambridge on the amazing reviews. I wish they were true.
The food was too salty, and the service could be improved to be better and more friendly.
I don t think I will be there any more.
I felt that the amount of sweet and sour pork was small compared to the price. For about $26, it wasnt a small size, but it was like a small size. The fries and sauce were just right and the mushrooms were nice. Some vegetables were hard because they had been dried.
Authentic Korean food. Good price, free sides, great service. I love this place.
Great food and service. Will definitely come back.
very good service and delicious food!!! will come again
This place is amazing! It s my go to place for food! I ve been coming here for about a year now. The people are so friendly and always very nice! Their food is delicious, I ve tried a lot of different dishes and have loved everything. The dishes are good portion sized too, can share with others! Vegetarian options: Some dishes can be made vegetarian as well Parking: It s in a plaza so lots of free parking
The young guys was unfriendly waiting over 30 minutes with no reason first and last no more waste time
Its my best located for 2 years but today was to much different unfriendly employees
Nice friendly helpful service. Sizeable portions of food. Fantastic flavours. Easy to understand menu with photos. If you want to try Korean this is the place.
I came here two days in a row now and Stephanie always greets me with a big smile, makes AWESOME food suggestions and the food is phenomenal. i m glad to have a great tasting asian place in Guelph as it s definitely lacking good spots. Will be back again soon thank you
The service was excellent and the food simply amazing. I had No. 24 from the menu and couldn t finish it. Can t wait to go back again and try other items on the menu. Will happily recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Five stars.
A little good
Friendly service and clean. Enjoyed the seafood pancake.
The food was really good and filling. Waiters were both really nice too. Would come back and try more dishes.
Great, friendly service. Delicious, fresh food. Loved the side dishes and the atmosphere. Parking: Parked right out front.
Really tasty authentic Korean cuisine. Friendly and personal service. Would highly recommend.
We love this location. Food is great and comes out quickly, staff are super friendly and attentive.
The food is SO good here yesterday. Best Korean in the region, and best OofM location. Our waitress was also the best waitress Ive ever had. I dont know her name but she was giving all tables the same quality service and really had the entire room in full control. Thank you for the free side refills and packing up our leftovers. Someone give this woman a raise! I hope my husband tipped you well.
Food was delicious with good portion. Staffs were friendly. Me and my friend had yumm Korean dishes after long.great place to dine. Highly recommend others to visit!
Friendly staff and delicious food!
friendly staff & yummy food. my favourite is yookgaejang. great for dine-in and take out. take out is packaged really nicely & never leaks.
This place is Amazing. The Host is extra. Nice! Very hospitable! Food taste amazing!! Food
Tried their pork soup and nahh I wasn t really impressed by the taste it is more of hot from the hot peppers I tasted and for me there s no taste at all and price is really high in my opinion, I don t know if I will try that soup again .
I got the dolsot bibimbap. It s delicious. Service is great as well.
Food was flavourful but expensive. $48 (with tax + 15% tip) for a bowl of soup and a bulgogi :s Not really worth that price in my opinion.
Kid-friendliness: This place is not kid friendly at all. Went to have dinner with the fam. The server with a sleeve tattoo on his left arm asked my 6 year old son to leave coz they dont allow outside food to be consumed in their place. Theres 5 adults in our group and he cant make allowances for a 6 yr old to eat a hotdog just coz its not from their place. We would understand if they implement that rule with an adult. Were regular patrons of this place and this is the first time someone treated us this way. Very poor customer service.
On time i called to ask if there is available table, bec i do not want to waste my time to travel 15 min just to go to their restaurant and they will turn us away because of no table available that is why i called but the server do not want us to call what they want is to waste our time to go there and if there is a table we can have our dinner and if not we waste our gas and time to go there they think that calling this restaurant and asking if there is available for them its reservation! Since then never go there anymore bec this restaurant does not give consideration
Very good I like the hot bowl with rice. Sauce was good and not super strong flavour so the bibimbap sauce was really good.
Excellent had beef ribs, fried chicken and spicy marinated beef and all were great. Looking forward to next time. Thank you!
Amazing Korean cuisine
We enjoyed our first visit to this Korean restaurant with the interesting name. The food was great, was fairly priced, and our server was nice and friendly. They have beer on the menu but dont have their license yet so you must go alcohol free for now. The seating is pretty simple cafeteria like, so if ambiance is important to you, this venue may not suit your needs.
Owl of minerva never fails to deliver consistency with their food. This is our go ti place when we don t want to cook dinner. Kamjatang never gets old. Guelph location however is by far the cleanest and take out containers are sealed properly and well.
Dietary restrictions: Theres japchae for veg option Parking: Big parking lot located in a plaza Food : 5/5 |
Food is amazing, especially if you are looking for some authentic Korean food! The staff are super friendly! Already our familys favourite spot.
First time trying Korean food and i loved it A good place to dine in Friendly service Food : 5/5
The food and service is excellent! Our family loved the meal that was prepared. The Korean fried chicken is amazing! Thanks!
My first time here, and it was great! We went during dinner time. It was not as busy as I thought it would be. The food is delicious, we tried the spicy beef bulgogi, and a spicy pork dish! Highly recommend these dishes if it s your first time. The service was quick, the servers are really nice, and outgoing! We were served water right away, and a plate of side dishes to compliment the main course. It is a comfortable atmosphere as well. I noticed on the front door it says no outside food or drinks allowed but I ve noticed that people walk in with outside drinks so I m not sure if it s strict with that policy.
Omg this place was so good!!! Thank you for being peanut free!! :)
Fantastic local resto. Haven t experienced a weak item on the menu yet; everything is top tier, especially the BBQ Chicken.
This place has become a new family favourite. Still working out way through the menu. Everything tastes so fresh. Great service. And the k-pop in the background added to the atmosphere. We will be back! Food
Love the service and very friendly staff I would definitely recommend this place to eat
Delicious lunch today at The Famous Owl of Minerva. So happy we stopped in on a trip to Guelph. The food was so hot and fresh and the service was excellent and friendly. I had enough for leftovers! Such generous portions. Highly recommend this little gem! Vegetarian options: Lots of options here for meat free dining. They are open to customize if needed. Parking: Lots of parking at the mall. The restaurant is at the end so the parking wraps around the building. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for mobility devices. Parking is right in front and has a ramp.
The human chicken is too hard and not soft enough, but the grilled beef ribs are delicious!
This place is a gem hidden at the end of Harvard Road Plaza. Authentic, delicious Korean food, excellent quality, delicious and big portions. Quick, friendly service. Gamjatang is as good as Ive ever had.
Very delicious food well put together I would definitely recommend bringing my family to eat here.
Best korean place I have found so far in the area
Good place to go to. Love the food.
A great spot for some delicious Korean food! Always love going to Korean spots and munching on some banchan, which is the side dishes that come with any meal! Service was exceptional! Every need tended to and staff are so attentive! The only thing I would ask for is the availability of some type of noodle in the menu and that would put this over the top! But still an overall amazing experience! Great job overall!
My wife had her favourite - a large bowl of Pho. I tried Vietnamese soup with a variety of meats and vegetables - wonderfully spicy and flavourful. Tough to finish it all but couldnt allow a drop to be wasted!
Update: The other day me and my friend had Dubu Kimchi(No. 40 on the menu). The tofu tastes sour. I don t know if it s expired or something. Korean restaurant finally arrives at Guelph. I had their food in Waterloo and Mississauga. Its great, it never disappoints me once!
It was pounded to a paper thin layer and then deep fried until it was hard. The katsu sauce wasnt prepared correctly either. Tasted horrible. Picked this up in person and regret wasting my money on this. My dad eats anything and he even said just throw it out. Last time I come here.
I love this place mostly for their Korean soups. So hot and spicy
This place always takes such good care of me and the food is delicious. I m so glad Guelph has this Korean food gem. Dietary restrictions: I m not celiac but there are some gluten friendly options.
I guess The Famous Owl of Minerva (Guelph) is a Guelph branch of a simple Korean restaurant chain originated from Toronto. My wife is a Korean. So she knows Korean food. She happened to eat here with her friends on December 16, 2023. She said food here is a rip-off. She ordered GamJaTang( ) but almost nothing there but a lot of bones and a half piece of potato. These days Korean food is getting popular everywhere and a lot of Korean restaurants are taking advantage of this trend but without providing a good quality food. If you like it, it is OK for you but this place is mediocre from a Koreans standard. At least, dont go with GamJaTang. To the owner; Please dont cut the cost of food too much to make profit. I also took a look at reviews and photos uploaded by other reviewers. Some food such as GamjaTang and JapChaeNoodle has nothing there. Your customers feel rip-offed when they have a really cheaply made food. Rather raise the price instead of providing a food without real contents. If you keep providing a rip-off Korean food just taking advantage of Korean food popularity, you will ruin it and your business will go down eventually. You can rip-off your customer short-term and make a profit. However, they will catch up with you sooner or later.
Delicious!!! So excited that an authentic Korean restaurant has finally come to Guelph!! The portions were generous with lots of meat and veggies, and complimentary kimchi comes with the order. Our take out was packed very well! Though they have a reduced menu compared to other locations, all items are very approachable, I dont think we could go wrong ordering anything off the menu. Service was also very friendly and prompt. We will be back
Great food and friendly service for takeout! First time ordering and will definitely be back! Pictured is the KamJaTang. Adding some photos from their takeout menu as it differed abit (numbering in menu) from the website location menu.
Best Korean in Guelph. Ordered a couple of dishes and all were great. Staff were very friendly.
Im glad that Guelph finally has an Owl. Great food quality, careful service, and easy to park. Literally the BEST Korean place in Guelph.
I hope this is growing pains, but they were unable to keep our order or be on time. I placed an order, came to pick up the food at the agreed upon time and they had run out of at least half my order. It would have been appreciated, as a service based business, to inform the customer so alternatives could be made. In the end we had to go get food elsewhere and felt this was very unfortunate as we want to support local diverse cuisines. It is a chain so the food is fairly consistent at all locations. Their food is always flavorful and hearty. The portions are generously fulfilling. I can only raise my concern on the service. I am certainly willing to give them another chance but not without assurances my order obligations are met. I can then amend the review based on my subsequent experience.
It is great to finally have a korean restaurant in Guelph! We ordered pork bone soup and spicy chicken, overall it is a great experience and its pretty neat the way how they seal the food. In comparison to some korean restaurants in KW area, this is a bit pricy to start. The taste is decent and authentic but personally I didnt like their Kimichi as much. The pork bone soup is good, tho I wish its can be a bit more tender. If you want to get through all the meat, you might have to a bit barbaric to rip the bones. Spicy chicken is great!
Really disappointed. I have ordered few dishes from Owl on Friday with high expectations, but it s came as quick freeze food which you can buy from the supermarket and warm up yourself. I actually bought the same package from supermarket today and it s only cost 5.99, which I paid extra $40 for them to warm up my food. If anyone want to have this dishes, you can go to TNT supermarket to get it.
The dishes are comparable in flavour to other Owl locations, however, it seems like the prices here are bit more expensive. It was $16.99 for their Bibimbap which unfortunately had a very small amount of ground beef. I wish they would give more side dishes than just kimchi and pickled cucumbers. The kimchi tasted really off, and Ive had it twice now. However, I am happy to finally have a Korean restaurant in Guelph, especially since Soora closed down.
Was absolutely delicious! Tried the restaurant for the first time and loved it! Great and on time service! So friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend!
Ordered tangsooyuk, soy sauce chicken and donkatsu. Soy sauce chicken was very good. Donkatsu was soso and tansooyuk was bad.
The food was fantastic and the waiter was so handsome!
Great korean food! The service was also excellent. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. It was an overall great experience and i highly recommend it to anyone. This restaurant has it all and is worth all the buzz.
Crazy expensive for what you get - we got two appetizers and two mains and it was $70! Which would be maybe fine if it was incredible but the dumplings were undercooked and the pancake was overcooked. Definitely not worth it.
I had the Gamjatang at Guelph OWL today and loved it. I liked the texture of the meat especially - soft, and tender. The soup was deep and flavorful as well. Strongly recommend.
We got the sweet and spicy fried chicken, seafood pancake, soft tofu stew, stir fried spicy squid, and pork bone soup! Everything was extremely well packaged, still hot when we got one after pickup, and most importantly, DELICIOUS. We have been waiting for a Korean spot to open in Guelph and Owl of Minerva is not only super tasty but full of memories as a consistent chain for us. The owners and staff are very sweet and accommodating, and our food was prepared in 30 minutes despite it being a busy time of day. Highly recommend the seafood pancake, the stir fried squid (not too spicy), and the sweet and spicy fried chicken (spicy!!). We will be ordering from this spot regularly from now on! Update: soondae and jokbal are FIRE and you should get those too.
Super nice and friendly staff. The portions are great and the food is absolutely delicious. I m happy there s finally a Korean restaurant in Guelph :)
Best Pork Bone soup in Ontario hands down! Good Soft tofu soup too!
I ordered tteokbokki, soondae, and dubu kimchi for a shared dinner and it was fantastic. Perfect flavour, fresh kimchi. I will absolutely be ordering from Owl of Minerva again.
Good
Finally more decent Korean food restaurant in guelph. Their pork bone soup is great. Foods are very authentic. Try them out if you are curious.
Protect this food at all costs.
I was pumped to hear that owl of minerva was in guelph ( since I was obsessed with them back in university when I literally went 2 weeks eating only pork bone soup!). They did not disappoint! I ordered pork bone soup again and bibimbap and it tastes just as I remember- absolutely delicious ! Cant wait to come in person soon!
The restaurant is very clean. The service was very friendly and timely. The foods were very good.
#1 spot for Korean food in Guelph. My go-to is their famous pork bone soup, but tonight I tried the spicy chicken and it was absolutely delicious!
Food is delicious. Portion size is good. Pick up order was ready, quick, easy and friendly. The complimentary cucumber and red pepper salad was delicious. Kimchi too.
They were so friendly and the Korean fried chicken was fantastic!
Friendly service, delicious food, good portion sizes and fair prices. I highly recommend the seafood pancake and the spicy fish cake dish. I loved that they gave us traditional Korean sides like kimchi. Thank you and I will definitely be back!
Loves both kinds of the Korean fried chicken. Kimchi pancake is one of my favorite dishes and it was spot on, big fan of Owl. Very friendly and knowledgable staff as well.
Kamjatang is the bomb diggity
the pork bone soup was served free for special event and it was so good, i highly recommend this restaurant
Oh my, The Owl of Minerva is a rare find. Im a huge fan of Korean food, but have not experienced any that I would sing the praise of since moving away from Edmonton 20 years ago. Until now. Owl of Minerva is a wonderful little restaurant that has outstanding Korean food and a staff that is welcoming, friendly and a pleasure to be around. Food is prepared in much more traditional styles to what Im used to, including dine-in service on sizzling plates or in heated stone bowls depending on the dish. BiBimBap is a classic Korean pleasure, and I cant tell you how much the experience is enhanced by serving in a hot stone bowl where the entire bowl remains lovely and warm, while also toasting the bed of rice a bit giving you the most amazing crunchy, slightly sweet texture as you dig in. Their soups are amazing, the dumplings are outstanding and as someone who enjoys a bit of spice, their hotter options are a dream. Guelph is extremely fortunate to have attracted this restaurant and I would highly recommend it to anyone searching for more variety, or a specifically quality Korean offering. Take-out is also amazing but I would suggest trying to dine-in when you can to experience the full range of cooking and serving options available. I am currently eating here at least once a week, it really is that good.
The staffs were sweet and friendly! The price and taste of the entrees (bibimbap and bogulgi) were good and comparable to other Korean restaurants. We also got a starter and I can t believe how expensive it was. For a fried egg roll ( essentially an omelette), it was $14.99 and it was little disappointing. The kimchi also tasted a little off. Overall, i think the price is on the higher end, especially for starters, compared to the other non-chain Korean restaurants. It is nice to have a Korean restaurant in Guelph though since Soora was gone. I think it s a good place to start if you don t want to make a trip elsewhere and really craving some Korean food. But there are definitely much better and reasonable options outside of Guelph.
Worst chapchae I ve ever had in my life, I can definitely make it way better with my eyes closed. First it taste like microwave food. The noodle was super hard and all sticked together, it s a vegetable chapchae with only 5% of veggies ? I had to dump almost half bottle of soy sauce in order for me to swallow the food. You would expect much better food for $14.99. So disappointed.
I ve eaten at other Owl of Minerva chain restaurants but this one in particular is very clean, yummy, and has wonderful service! I m happy that there s finally a Korean restaurant in Guelph and it s comparable to the ones in Waterloo. The only thing missing is the potato side dish.
This is the second restaurant in this chain that Ive tried: take-out and dine-in. The food is authentic and the quality is both fantastic and consistent. The portions are also generous. Dining in at this location was pleasant. Service was courteous and thoughtful, checking in on the diners regularly as a routine.
Its good, but dont really get the massive price jump compared to one in Toronto, like get to chose from less of a menu. Like its kinda noticeable when you go from 11.99 to 19.99
I was a bit sceptical at first since the prices are higher than normal but everything actually tastes really good. The korean fried chicken is very juicy and tasty and the side dishes are great as well. This place is a great korean experience.
Ordered pick up! Great service and food...thank you so much for the kimchi
Well, the reason I have no pic of my food was because my mouth got too watery and I forgot to do it. I always go for kimchi stew which is aweeesooomeee they are amazing! This is my and my husband s favorite place to go to!
waiters and waitresses are always so friendly and kind ! food is amazing, as always : )
The waiter who served was amazing and took great care of us. Food was amazing as well with very large portions. Would highly recommend if you are ever craving Korean food in Guelph.
Visited today and the person working the front was so pleasant and kind. The food is always good but it was nice to receive such a friendly reception. Cant wait to go back!
I am glad to visit the owl. I have tasted both the KamJaTang (pork bone and potato soup) and SoonDuBu (Tofu and pork stew) and they are both awesome :) The meal is quite filling and tasty! Addition to the main dish, you get free refills for side dishes of bean sprouts, diced cucumbers and kimchi. You also get 10% discount if you paid by cash.
Hidden Gem!!! We randomly ended up at this place tonight for dinner because the place we wanted to go to was closed. And WOW this place was SO GOOD!! We were there with a few family members so we tried a few things: bibembop, seafood noodles, the pork bone/potato soup, fried dumplings, shrimp tempura. Everything was dee-lish! Cant wait to go back to try more dishes!!
Delicious food, amazing service! Would recommend to everyone to take a visit here and enjoy the yummy food!
this was our first experience eating there and I just can say it was extremely perfect and we really enjoyed, food portion was big and enough, the food was so delicious, stuffs were very friendly and the store was so clean, everything was excellent
Ok so went to the owl of minerva in guelph and it was like only 855pm and the guy said were not allowed for dine in anymore coz he said they were too busy tonight and yet I saw 3 people ahead of us just sitting and ordering their food for dine in. How is that possible ? And were like waiting for our to go food..The website says theyre closing at 10pm but that GUY said theyre closing at 9pm and yet the time is already 930pm and then the OPEN sign still ON
Nice Korean restaurant in Guelph
Good spot for a nice Korean lunch or dinner.
If I could leave no star I would, horrible services order to go, when I come to pick it up the young men asking for the receipt I showed to him then he want the food order receipt I showed half of the receipt the men said he wanted to see the full receipt. Try to be nice telling him I won t ever Oder from there again the young men look stupid and asking me why???
Definitely Not recommended! Horrible services won t be back! Google should have had zero star options so I can give for them
Oder today the food look like it been prepared and put in the freezers, Not recommended!!!
Only authentic Korean restaurant in Guelph service was 10/10 especially from the handsom man with curly hair
very unique but extremely tasty and authentic.
Genuine and very delicious Korean food!
Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian meal. Parking: A lot of parking spots to choose from.
Ordered the beef bibimbap as our regular place was closed. For $17.99 we each received about a tablespoon of beef crazy price for no food to say the least. I am disappointed and will not return. Please consider changing the amount of meat in your meat dish. Food was also freezing
Great food and reasonable prices, they have the best korean chicken in all of Guelph!
Really enjoyed the food here, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back here often!
Its the best gamjatang Ive ever had. I purposely visit this place when I pass Guelph or visit nearby. Not only gamjatang, but other foods are not strong, but they are really delicious! Also, I trust it more because I saw that all the steps are concerned about disinfection.
Best Korean restaurant in Guelph! Dachulpan the chicken stir fry is soo tasty. Service is great too. Definitely coming back to try other menus.
Its the best when you want to eat Korean food ^^
Super friendly staff and excellent, fresh food. Parking: Lots of free parking available. Food : 5/5 |
Staff are nice and food is good, menu is pricey though compared to other locations.
Delicious korean food! The soup based dishes were so comforting on a cold day. The broth of my udon bowl was incredible, I cant think of any place with richer broth. Our food came with a bunch of side dishes which were all delicious - kimchi is on the spicy side so if youre sensitive to that, dont try a big bite right away! The inside is simple and clean - kpop plays on the tv inside. The staff are really friendly and attentive too. Very glad to have this in Guelph!
late lunch around 2ish yesterday nov 26th. This was my familys second time. First time we were impressed hence our 2nd time. What can I say WOW IMPRESSIVE YUMMY AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. Stephanie you rounded up the whole wow factor. My family likes you, personality top notch, service YES!! Thank You!! Dont forget your tofu dinner We will be back again for our next korean food kick. Your friends, Abbie, Rey and Angelo
Ive been here 5 times since it opened, and couldnt be happier. Side dishes, good portions, and amazing food. Would recommend the bulgogi dishes. The server is very attentive, polite and helpful too.
Amazing bibimbap complete with crispy rice in the bottom. The food was amazing and our waitress was super nice. Really chill place to find a great meal at a good price. We will definitely be making dinner here a regular thing Vegetarian options: Many dishes come with the option to opt out of meat and replace with vegetables Parking: Lots of parking
We go once per week. Stephanie is the best!
