76 Baker St, Guelph, ON N1H 4G1, Canada
Quaint, English-style tavern with 2 levels, craft beers & upmarket, globally inspired pub grub.
Visited last night. The 6 of us ordered food and drinks. The food: - Risotto was bad - beef tartar was really bad - burgers mediocre at best. Dry patties, bad onion rings. - fish and chips were reasonable. The service: - Morgan was wonderful trying her best. - filthy washrooms - walking to washrooms exposes the back of the kitchen and it is not clean to say the least. - after mentioning that the tartar was real bad, nobody bothered taking it off the bill. Drinks were fine - how can you spoil two moktails and two beers? For the 6 of us we’ve spent little over $200 with tips which in any standards is higher than average. Bottom line is that this local establishment knew much better days. All looks worn out and unclean. Do not recommend and will not come back.
First visit ... Loved the food, loved the variety of beer on tap. I chose goodlot porter and smithicks red ale Very tasty!!! The service was great, Jasmine topped off our experience with her sweet personality and she was very helpful after telling us the specials Jasmine offered help if we had any questions.
The food was great ! Beet root salad was very tasty and the shepards pie with lamb neck meat was to die for. Beer was cold, what more could we ask for .....
Excellent Pub, a lot of beer options and delicious food. It’s worth it a try when you are visiting Guelph. The Beef Tartare was really good. The Baker Street Burger it’s also a good choice, you can add a fried egg if you like. The Sticky Toffee Pudding that we had as a dessert was yummy too.
Great little spot downtown Guelph. Fantastic service and great food. The Burratta and scallops & short ribs were perfect and the wings hit the spot - try the Carolina Gold to dip! Have a pint with daily specials to fit every mood. Recommend.
I will keep this simple, it's a fun place, lots of different kinds of beers! Some whiskeys too. The burger was good, not sure why people go crazy about it. My wife had a great gluten free bun with it. Bottom line, good times to be had at Baker Street. I recommend it.
Discovered this English-style pub on a walk downtown Guelph. Beautiful old home renovated into two floors of restaurant space. The first floor bar was quite busy with lots of gents enjoying happy hour. Quieter upstairs with a warm ambiance. Staff were most welcoming. The menu is fantastic, not your typical pub fare. My friend and I wanted to order everything! Our waitress Page was vivacious, charming, and knowledgeable about the food. The food was so delicious, from the chef-quality maple curry rubbed wings to the orange fennel salad and broccoli Caesar salad. We went with a dry cider. There is a large selection of beers on tap. I'm going back soon!
Good pub experience... although the back room where we were sat was freezing! I had the chicken curry dish and it was amazing! My partner had the fish and chips and it was okay, not the traditional thick batter. The cocktails were amazing! Overall good spot with decent value.
Very good atmosphere, and the service is impeccable.
The mushroom toast here is insane. My Guinness was delicious too
Amazing food. We had beef dip and stroganoff as well as a few craft beers. Service was attentive but not smothering. Will be back for sure. Food : 5/5 |
Good place
Great gem of a place downtown Guelph
Michelin Star place. Huge respect to kitchen, management and chefs, and most importantly, the team. Vegetarian options: Culinary gourme best.
Best pint of Guinness outside of Ireland... great food and brilliant service
Went for the first time and it didn t disappoint. Great food and service!! Great bar stools
My name is Matt Henshall. I would like to tell you about my Thursday night here. It started with our server Hayley, She made the experience very homely and enjoyable. The food was some of the best I have had in a long time. Great value for the price and an amazing selection of pints My taste buds were on a rollercoaster. Thanks for the great time Hayley / baker steet station. Would recommend this place to anyone.
We walked in and sat ourselves as the sign said. Saw some food sitting waiting to be taken out from the kitchen. We waited for 5 minutes and never saw a server. The kitchen meanwhile rang the bell and put more food out multiple times and still never saw a server. Decided to leave since we had no idea how long wed have to continue to wait, and how long our food could have sat getting cold before it was delivered.
Terrific beer selection Cozy little pub Service
Service and atmosphere are good, but I was disappointed with the food. The poutine was lukewarm, so the cheese was not melted, the short ribs on top looked more like pulled pork, but slightly burnt. Shame. Very extensive beer quay.
Excellent patio. Best drink specials in town, and the new fall menu is excellent! Cannot recommend them enough, all of their staff is so lovely and accommodating. Vegetarian options: Always a few options for vegetarians, the curry veg burger is excellent. Dietary restrictions: Wait staff always ask about allergies and can accommodate! Kid-friendliness: Theres a kids menu. But this place is mostly geared to adults. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible for a wheelchair due to stairs.
Good place for hangout with friends.
Vegetarian options: Chick pea curry. Delicious Dietary restrictions: Able to have the cheese on the side or with held Food : 4/5 |
Good selection of draughts, we had high hopes as we remembered a good experience when they used to be in a different location. Service was ok, we ordered the $21 beef tartare and both of us in our party that ate it had stomach problems the next morning. We wont be going back, anytime soon.
Food and service are good, I would recommend if your looking for a pub.
Great atmosphere and I have never had a bad meal. I had my favourites on the old menu, and I am looking forward to another visit to explore the new menu better. Drinks last week were amazing as always, thanks!
Teens and Parents. Its a great pub atmosphere. The upstairs is the best place to sit if its hot as the air conditioning seems concentrated here. Theres a great selection of beers with representation from Halo, Fairweather, Burdock, Bellwoods and Rorschach breweries. I enjoyed my burger and shoestring fries were delicious. The burger is nothing revolutionary but its solid. My wife enjoyed the burrata salad and a prosciutto dish. We both agreed the beef tartare was missing acidity and moisture. The service was great. We were very happy we dined there. Give it a try
Awesome place in Guelph!!!
Favourite spot in Guelph
An authentic pub, a rich selection of beer, the food is tasty but premature for Canada, there is no original cuisine. But in general, the place is pleasant for visitors)
Incredible for having a wonderful place for gatherings as well Vegetarian options: There are many options to choose that does fit in Food : 5/5 |
Broken tables on the patio. No one there and they sit us next to the wall not on the edge. Unbelievable
The burger is incredible. Ive traveled for a good burger, and now I live a ten minute walk from one of the finest Ive ever had. Cant recommend this place enough.
Expensive for what you get. Not worth it. Wings were reallt not great. Menu doesnt round out with enough crispy options to balance the pub fair.
Decided to stop here on a whim for dinner. My partner ordered the Salmon Panzanella and it was really tasty. Had fresh croutons that were lightly seasoned. I had the fish and chips (because how could you not) and they had huge portions. For real, one piece of fish is enough. Great atmosphere in an old house. Patios on the top and bottom if you feel inclined. The beer selection is top notch. Ask for a recco and the staff will obligé.
I frequent Baker with friends for late night drinks. We adore the individuality of their team, including their strange tattoos....Lisa *eye roll* Also chefs kiss on the watermelon and prosciutto. Nicely done. Great atmosphere. Their light dimming is on point, which I greatly appreciate, along with their chalkboard penmanship. -love Dimmy Gibbler
Busy place that night. It was happy hour special. Over all good.
The staff was so nice and well behaved .Loved the draft beer and the fish and chips.
My partner and I got the Baker st. Burger, and it was one of the best burgers Ive ever had. Keep up the good work!
Excellent food, great service, good price.
Great place to gather with friends and family. The food was excellent and decent in portion size
Amazing food, got the burger & it comes with a salad tossed in their house sauce, the burger has in house made garlic aoli & bacon jam! The cesars are top notch as well. Our server was amazing and very fast too.
Burger was good. My friends raved about the brraded pickle spears Beer selection excellent. Service was excellent. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food. Place has a great vibe: pub in an old house. Lots of books and crannies. Love that!
Love this place! Great vibe, friendly service and good food for a reasonable price.
Great menu, extensive beer list, kind knowledgeable staff. Love.
Great Fathers day meal. Had the chicken club and burger. Both were excellent. One nice touch was the greens (leafy salad) and fries that were included. I havent had the two without incurring an additional fee in many years. We ate on the 2nd floor. 1st time and great experience. There are washrooms on the 2nd floor. Nice wrap around porch. It was nice to see a diverse group of ages and families dining for lunch.
We had a wonderful impromptu dinner on the upstairs balcony. Sun was shinning, food was delicious. Enjoyed half price wine too! Service was awesome.
Its a bit tight for space on the first floor, but the long beer menu and friendly faces make up for it.
Not the greatest wings in Guelph
A repeat visit, the food was fantastic as it has been on all our visits but the service last night was inattentive and not up to our standards.
Good food and drink, but their best stuff is definitely weird. Wonton tuna nachos is definitely weird, but also strangely good.
Awesome menu , delicious food..
The restaurant is small and cozy and their menu is rather limited. Fortunately, they offer additional options on the board, and we decided to try the panini sandwich, which turned out to be amazing.
Great food, friendly staff, and many choices of craft beer.
Excellent food. Great atmosphere
I went for lunch with 3 friends and it was amazing(best onion rings ever)
I love my Baker st Station.
Great selection of craft beers on tap, friendly service!
Sticky ribs were great to share as an app. The red curry fried chicken was tasty, not spicy at all. Not much seating and parking is best on the street while construction in the area continues.
Great service and good food!
We were in for 3 hours , it took an hour for them to bring appetizers and another 1:15 hour for main. Great place to grab drink , but i wont recommend for anything else.
Had a great Saturday night with friends, cozy and tucked into the main floor nook. Excellent offerings on tap, delicious food and our server was an absolute delight - all reinforcing why this is our go-to pub in town!
Clearly 4 plus stars across the board but the loss of star overall?...having to park about a mile away and walk in the freezing cold. Yah...Im that person. Not having parking is for sure a deterrent for me coming back again over other places. Parking: It is brutal finding an open spot anywhere in Guelph.
Kaitlyn is absolutely amazing. Great service and fabulous food. The craft beer and cider list is fire! Definitely a great lunch or dinner spot!
Slightly above average pub with some interesting menu features. The food preparation was about average. The service was friendly and experienced. The atmosphere was a bit cramped and stuffy, but some might say cozy.
One star because they regularly allow a highly opinionated person bring they/them dog roam around for emotional support. They/them is not disabled or sight challenged. They/Them freely lets theirs intention known that they/them will run for city council. So how emotionally damaged is they/them? that they/them cannot survive leaving their pet home like the rest of us for public health reasons?. Anyone can claim a pet as service dog with a vest. So if this is a loophole to not abide by regulations, why dont we all bring our pets? The only time dogs are allowed around food/drinks is when someone truly needs a guide dog for mobility assistance, not a grown person who needs an animal vs human emotional support in public social situation. Public health will be on your doors if a select few is allowed because they can break the rules.
Went out with my friends here last night and the beef tartare and the oyesters were to die for! Highly recommended but next time personally well grab another set of something else over the cheese board Vegetarian options: Good veg options
The food is spectacular and a large beer menu. There is a friendly atmosphere.
Baker Street is an excellent restaurant! Small space downstairs at the bar but adequate seating. High tops and a small section of 4 top seating. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Large portions. Fish and chips were tender and fried to perfection. Hot turkey is a must try - certainly not your local diner classic. Burger was interesting, patty itself was cooked well with lots of flavor. It is an odd mix with the pineapple and goats cheese but may be something to try if you like something different. Staff are pleasant and attentive. Good selection of beverages and a great list of specials for each day of the week. Ill definitely eat here again! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available.
Fantastic, attentive service and a great dinner experience. I highly recommend!
I went to Baker Street Station for a date to have a couple drinks and dinner. When the food came, my burger was not just a little pink but was completely raw. The waitress was shocked when I showed her and took it back to the kitchen saying it would be fixed right away. 20-30 minutes later, as my date was finishing her meal, the waitress came back to see if we wanted to order more drinks and said my food would be out soon and that she wasnt sure why it was taking so long. The waitress came back a little later to clear the table, as my date was now done her meal, and again said my food was almost ready and would be out soon. After a few more minutes I flagged the waitress down and asked for the bill because I didnt want to wait any longer seeing as my date was finished eating dinner and we had finished our drinks as well. The waitress apologized and the manager came over and said that if I wanted to wait a little longer she could change my meal to a take out order. With neither one of us wanting to wait any longer, we left, with me still hungry and my date feeling really awkward that she had just eaten dinner by herself while I had to just sit there and watch.
Just wow nice little hidden gem. Service and food was great. Definitely will be a returning customer.
Drinks are good, but a little pricey
The website was outdated.. .bar menu disappointing..no cabernet sauvignon! What restaurant doesnt have this wine selection!..dreadful wine lis overall ..food menu ridiculously restricted ..this used to be a good restaurant..no more..dont waste your time or money!!,
Went in for just a company dinner party on a Tuesday and it was quite busy so food took forever. Love the homestyle layout of the restaurant felt very comfortable. As apps and food arrived when it did it tasted amazing. Overall amazing for the price and what you get! Vegetarian options: They have an amazing selection for vegetarians and it was easy for one of our colleagues to get something they wanted Parking: There used to be a lot nearby for parking, but now its under construction
Still a nice place and super attentive service, but the food is not as good as it used to be - assuming the kitchen staff changed.
Food was great . Service was slow
The Thai curry fried chicken was top
Came in for lunch, had my heart set on the halloumi salad, but they were out. I ended up going with the gnocchi it was tasty. But my friend got the fried chicken it was under cooked. The parking sucks, it was difficult to find a spot.
Always great love the menu and beer options
We were there for a private event and the self serve food was quite good. Lots of veggie options. I havent seen their full menu but if youre needing a private party venue I highly recommend.
Excellent environment and great food. Highly recommend Monk Belgian IPA. Parking: We found parking just a block on the street. Food : 5/5 |
Wonderful meal and service! Had the fried chicken thai curry and it was spectacular!
Good vibe. Nice crowd. Food was great. Server was very nice
Beer was great! Just curious, why do you choose to have no change tables? Makes life for families difficult.
Interesting pub menu with good variety and great beer list, disappointing wine selection
Great great food and service! Absolutely loved the vibe of the location. Went for brunch with a group of friends and had chicken and waffles for the first time, the bar was set so high I dont know if itll ever be matched!
Great dinner! Shared the California Bowl with my friend and the portions are large enough that we were both happy!
The food is awesome, the beer selection is spectacular, and the service is wonderful. The beef tar tar is awesome. But I really miss the poke nachos, and the kimchi fries. Boooo. They got rid of them. Still awesome place. Love em.
Stopped in for a late lunch and drinks with a couple buddies. We ate in the bar area which has a comfortable pub ambience. Service staff is terrific and the music was throwback mellow 70s and 80s. Highly recommend the fish and chips, burger (add the fried egg!), and lager draught beer. The French fries were cooked perfectly and all our food came quickly all together. Great casual spot, were looking forward to going back..
Quirky restaurant. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is nothing special unfortunately. Fish and chips is clearly frozen and cheap (I understand its extremely unrealistic to except them to have fresh fish and chips , but its an insult to the dish and the tradition to prepare and serve it from frozen. If you cant do it right, dont serve it). The blackened chicken sandwich was fine. The chicken is cold which I think is a shame as you loose some of the intensity of the spice. But it is well spiced and cooked nicely with good charing. The menu was quite limiting. There isnt something for everyone here as youd come to expect from a pub restaurant. The visit was pleasant but disappointing due to the frustration caused by seeing a place with great potential under deliver. I really hope they can improve things going forward.
Friendly staff, fresh n delicious food, nice ambience - perfect place.
My favourite place here in Guelph to grab a brew, snack, or a full meal! Been coming here for years, staff, service, drinks and food are always amazing, and any issues I ve had were always dealt with properly, recommend big time to check out if you haven t already!
Get the onion rings! You won t regret it - the best ones I ve had. Fluffy batter and covered in parm, served with a delicious aioli that we asked for more of. These were chefs kiss. Also had the burger which was delicious. Will be coming back.
Great food, great atmosphere and very attentive staff.
Nice place, great atmosphere. Wish it was larger!
Some of the best food in Guelph. We had multiple starter including the fried brie (recommended to anyone) and everything was fantastic. Also an ever changing menu of local beer which is always appreciated.
Went for date night and had a great experience! The food was truly excellent, theres clearly a lot of pride taken in the menu.
Chill and welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. My partner and I like coming here for a drink every now and then!
Great vibe excellent service and antojitos are spectacular!
Really amazing food and presentation. Atmosphere was a bit loud and the service a tad slow, but the waitress was on her own all night for the whole level. I would go back for sure!
Great service. Good vegetarian options.
One of my favourite places In Guelph. Been going there for 12+years
Cozy. Good beer.
This used to be my favourite restaurant in Guelph! Unfortunately the last year I ve tried 3 times and it s just not the same. The food is 4 stars at best and they ve been out of 2/3 things on the menu each time. Still lovely place, good for a drink and an app.
The place was elite a couple years ago, something has changed big time. Food is ok but not worth the price
Great selection of draft beers and food options were all appealing. Tuna poke nachos were awesome. Service was refreshingly good; attentive, efficient and friendly but not intrusive. nowhere close to the disinterested service that seems to be the growing norm elsewhere.. Didnt catch the servers name but we dined at 3 pm on Friday 28th April and she was the only server working. Please pass on the kudos.
Great watering hole with fun and friendly servers such as Tessa. Highly recommended!
Always a great atmosphere with a fantastic drink and food menu. These mozza sticks were absolutely amazing and if I could order them in bulk this would of been a 5 star review. Thank you to the staff and big shout out to the kitchen.
food was cold wings looked reheated and not fresh. the burger was ok but the salsd was hot and fries cold from being left under the heat lamp too long.
One of the largest craft beer / rotating pour options in Guelph. Great food menu and features. Also nice to get up to the top deck/patio when its not packed. Overall a great spot.
Always delicious, service is always amazing, Ive never been disappointed here unless not being able to get a seat counts.
This is definitely hidden pearl of Guelph for foodies. Moza stick, Tuna nachos are definitely very good starters. Fish and chips are of very good quality and Burger is one of best I have ever tried. Draft beer is also very good with tremendous variety, although I am no beer lover.
Really lovely space, with a highly varied menu and great service. Would happily come again!
Very nice place. I didn t ask my servers name but he was really great. The club sandwich was great, wings were fresh and desert were also amazing. Would definitely visit again.
My brother took here for lunch. This place is amazing every way! My favourite things were the PB&J shot and the homemade ketchup
Just had a beer and the service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Good outdoor seating on nice weather. Large selection of beer. Didn t like the prices but I live in Germany and maybe that is the reason. The prices are much higher than I am used to. My brother, who lives in Guelph, says the prices are par for the course in the city. There are lots of nice bars and taverns in walking distance of this place so if it is not to your liking then you can move on.
One of my top three places to have a bite and drink in Guelph. Their appetizers are great to share with friends and their beer selection is phenomenal. Service is always great as well. Couldn t recommend more.
I love this establishment. I have been just several times, but seem to go back here. No matter what other options there are. Food is amazing, service and atmosphere are just right.
Vegetarian options: Always one or two mains that are vegetarian Food
We came on an evening where they served up a seafood plate with oysters in a half shell, massive lobster tail, shrimp, crab legs etc. This plate was huge! What an absolute treat! Please keep this as a special because we definitely will be back for it over and over again! Delightful! Amazing presentation and our server was incredible! Great job Baker Street Station a new fave on rotation!!
Nice vibe. Good place to chill for food and drinks at any time of day.
Best pub and fare in Guelph!! Awesome service every time and happy hour every day from 3-5PM. Great specials every day, best onion rings on the planet and some fresh fried smelts on the side?!
Arrived during happy hour for a pint a wings with a group of friends. Did not disappoint! We managed to get the upstairs patio and the view is nice. Just a lot of construction going on. Wings are large for their size and lots of craft / local beer to select. I m sure the place would be a lot busier once the construction is done.
Mushroom oysters were tasty but not enough
A must visit if you like a good vibe and great beer selection. The second story patio is also top notch
Happy hour 7days a week from 3-5. $6 pints. Didnt eat this time and it was great sitting on the 2nd floor patio.....except for the super noisy construction
A little neat place surrounded by the construction site. Its nicely decorated, so you might forget about the mess surroundings. The food was ok. The bone marrow we ordered was very greasy. The chicken club was good portion. One thing worth mention is their home-made ketchup. Might be hard to find parking. We parked downtown and walked over. Parking: Construction around. No parking
We came here for some afternoon drinks and snacks. We had their pork belly lettuce wraps that had so many components and was really delicious. They were make your own though. The cocktails that we had were pretty and refreshing but watered down from all of the ice. They have great vibes and a nice patio.
Great pub, delicious food, very friendly atmosphere.
Baker St Station has been one of our fave pubs to go to not only for the beer selection but also food, however we recommend dinner only - avoid brunch/lunch here! A few menu items were sold out at the tail end of prime dinner time which was unfortunate but understandable. For our app we had asparagus salad which was mindblowingly good - super fresh and sweet asparagus with a lightly whipped garlic aioli. For mains, the thai curry fried chicken was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Crunchiest chicken that soaked up the super flavour packed curry so each bite was different - will literally be dreaming about this dish forever. The tuna poke nachos were also crazy good - super fresh with a yummy creamy and acidic sauce. We also tried the steak (cooked perfectly) and the lobster mac and cheese (cheesy but needed more salt and something acidic). We saw bread pudding on the menu for dessert so obviously we couldnt pass it up and it was everything you want bread pudding to be - soft and caramelly with cold creamy ice cream YUM Do note that we came back for brunch a few days later and were very disappointed LOL there s a reason the place was empty for Sat brunch. Traditional breakfast place was super sad with 2 small slices of burnt toast and no additional butter/jam, no ketchup given with the dry home fries (why doesnt any place have good home fries?), the over easy eggs were over hard (which they fixed granted but come on there were like 4 ppl in the resto and the cook couldnt even watch the eggs? they were also the smallest eggs we ve ever seen) I had the pork belly tacos - taste was good but it was clear they only thought about pretty plating instead of the actual eating experience (did no one try eating the plate before putting it on the menu??) The super delicate baby lettuce was buried under the very wet toppings. Half of the lettuce wraps ripped as I tried to pull them out and all were horrendously soggy. I just ended up eating it like a salad lol. Please, you can have lettuce on the side and make the plating pretty with other methods. We both agreed to stick to Eggcetra for brunch and come only for dinner and recommend you do so too!
Food not that great.. Burger had too much filler in it..made it very dry..
Food was good and employees were nice. Place is pretty expensive
My wife and I were there last night for wing night to celebrate our anniversary. It wasnt that busy but we had to wait 5 minutes in line to be seated, then another 5 minutes for the waitress to take our order and then another 5 minutes for the drinks to arrive. After the meal we ordered a dessert to go, however, we had to wait for 5 minutes while our server chatted with the hostess and when they sauntered over to see that the dessert was ready, they talked for another 5 minutes while we stared at them in disbelief, 10 feet away. Another restaurant I wont be going back to.
Baker Street Station provides a cozy dining environment with tasty food. The mozzarella sticks are a must-try! Parking can be a bit tricky as its on the street, so timing matters. Despite that, the overall experience was good, and I would happily return. Parking: Need to park on the street. Street parking is limited to two hours but it s free. Wheelchair accessibility: There is no ramp or elevator to get to the second floor. You might be able to sit on the first floor or patio.
Wings are done well. Nice and crispy. Good variety of sauces. Large selection of beers on tap, many local. Atmosphere a bit loud upstairs.
Dog friendly patio
Quaint little place with a 2nd level and outdoor patio seating. Our server was wonderful. They take pride in their craft beer selection and are eager to help you find something you will enjoy! We had an app (Tuna Poke Nachos) and entree (Grilled cheese special with fries and onion rings) split between the 2 of us and it was plenty. It also tasted great with their house ketchup and garlic mayo. I will definitely be keeping this on my list of fav places! Highly recommend the grilled cheese with bacon jam and apple slices!!! And the Tuna Poke Nachos, amazing!!! - but if you are not big on spicy ask them to go light on the spicy mayo.
I brought my friend from out of town to Baker St station and we loved it. Innovative menu, great staff and delicious food and drinks. It s a must try spot in Guelph! Vegetarian options: Good selection of creative vegetarian options.
First time here and Ill give it a solid 3 stars. Service was friendly but took a long time for the food to come. Food was lukewarm. Kids meals were tiny, only 2 small pieces of chicken each meal and it cost $ 11. Overall pricey and portions on the small side. The sticky rice with vinegar isnt my style either. Would be better to have a sticky rice infused with coconut milk etc. I spent $ 200 + on 2 adults and 2 kids and felt that the quality and value overall wasnt worth it. Also dislike places that dont have naked wings. Pre breaded and pre dusted in 2023 isnt acceptable especially since its not GF friendly. Not sure if Ill be back.
Another great experience at Baker! Food was superb and our server Katlin was amazing, attentive, quick and friendly. Always top notch!
Outstanding beer selection, great food, will definitely return!
legendary location, Half Price Wings Monday goes real nice
Tasty food and drink. Just wish there were more options for half-pints :)
Always had a great experience when I go to Baker Street. An abundance of beer on tap, including local, which is great when you want to try something new! Staff were awesome, very team oriented, other servers were helping clear stuff from our table! Food was great, I had appies the previous time I went and Fish and Chips this time! Didnt dissapointment! Overall, louder/busier atmosphere, but I dont mind because I usually go with friends (usually before a Guelph Storm game) and we are also loud!
Good food. Great selection of beers on tap.
it was nice could use a few more parking spots but overall it was nice...
Have been here many times. Love the food, great vibe and an awesome selection of beer. Great place!
Great little pub with fantastic food and tons of on tap drinks. Fish and chips was the best Ive had anywhere in a *long* time. Definitely not the cheapest place out there but as they say you get what you pay for, and the quality and selection here are definitely worth the prices.
Best onion rings I ever had and good garlic dip
Nice little pub, Good food, good drink Food
One of the best vegan burgers I have had in Canada
So far this is the best spot in Guelph! The small, almost tiny restaurant is located downtown in the old historical building. I was surprised they kept the inside interior and add the pub/restaurant features. There are two floors: ground is more pub style, second is the main area split to bar and restaurant. Not many tables, so keep this is mind and book in advance. Well well well. The menu is not typical and I was concerned a little. But I am always open for a new flavours. We decided to go with goat fennel salad, halloumi salad. Both salads are light dressed and tasted so good. Fennel salad I would mark for 100% for the balanced flavour. For the main: steak, again not traditional. It was actually a roll stuffed with mushrooms and cheese, served on the cushion of home style mashed potatoes. My companions ordered Baker st burger and sweet potato gnocchi. Both are good. And finally desserts: mouse cake and hot caramel cake. Wow! Impressed! Thanks for going beyond our expectations: team and Chef. Highly recommend to visit this hidden gem.
Great food and service with an awesome selection on tap
This is an amazing English pub .. great service amazing food and prices are reasonable .... But the best way to eat is to call ahead ...
Such a great spot. I had the Thai Chicken...the crust was a little over cooked but the inside was not dry...a fantastic dish. The gnocchi my daughter in law had looked amazing. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious.
This place is super great if you eat there. I wouldn t suggest take-out. I m always so excited and it s such a let down when my food is charred, fries are cold and my order is wrong . Will definitely visit in person though. 10/10 would recommend in person
I love this place, selection of food is awesome. Their wait staff is wonderful and accommodating. Tuesdays are oyster and boneless wing nights. I love Tuesdays, the one place in guelph when they say their hot sauce is hot they actually mean it. I would say go try this place but dont go because I dont want it to be too busy when I go there to eat.
Delicious!
Great bar in Guelph! They have an extensive list of beers on tap, with several local/regional options. The food is great, definitely not your average pub/bar food - we had a baked brie and the classic antojitos, and both were delicious. It is definitely worth trying it out!
Great food and a huge draft beer menu. Excellent service.
Phenomenal food in a pub atmosphere. The menu is limited bit very well executed. You can dress up or go casual in this place and fit in no matter what. Very professional wait staff. Great selection of beers.
Great food and terrific service. Really nice variety on the menu. My favourite is the Tuna Poke! Always a great experience.
Great customer service! French onion soup was the bomb
Delicious food, great atmosphere. All you need for a perfect place to eat.
Still looking for the train, never saw it. That however is the only reason why this is not 5 stars. Also I ordered blackened chicken but... it wasnt even as dark as my beer. So there is that too. Love this place will be eating there again for sure!!!
Cute!! Really unique seasonal cocktails
Great beer selection. Small menu but very good food
Were regulars here and the food is always amazing (why I had put 5 stars previously)...but service the last several months has been extremely slow (well over an hour to get main dishes during busy dinner times). It is also quite loud inside (music and people), which we think is what caused our server to miss one of our orders last time we were there. We didnt realize until an hour later, since we thought it was just coming very slowly. Very disappointing, and the experience has unfortunately hindered our good impression of baker street overall.
