The food was fantastic.

I almost always get the pear and avocado salad because the combination of sweet pear, creamy avo and tangy dressing is outstanding. And it s reasonably priced and surprisingly filling! The tempeh salad is good too. The duck confit was memorable and every pizza I ve ever eaten has had creative, perfectly balanced flavours. But probably the best thing about Atmosphere is you guessed it, the atmosphere. Exposed stone walls with tea lights and blankets for anyone who gets cold gives the place a homey vibe that you don t find at other restaurants. I would highly recommend it for a nice lunch and a cocktail.

Exceptional dining experience in every regard!! From the warm and welcoming greeting to the enthusiastic and genuine service (shoutout to our wonderful server: Lillian!) and the food ..yum! Quality at its best! Highly recommended and cannot wait to come back!

The food lacks culture. Very bland and limited food options. The best thing you can get from here is the burger. Which btw is a mix of beef and pork. What if you only want a beef burger? Also the tenderloin isn t a steak it s a pizza. And the meat is definitely not a tenderloin, maybe a sirloin as it s super chewy. Not the best topping for a pizza. The atmosphere is nice hence their restaurant name which attracted us to go in but that s the only thing.

Lived in Guelph all my life. How did I not know this place existed?? It was a last minute idea to try something new and we found Atmosphere. Glad we did. Obviously we didn t have a reservation but they set us up at the bar for a drink while we waited. The bartender was super friendly and helpful. Once we got to our table the experience continued and it was great. The waiter took his time to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The food was top notch. Then the dessert came. TRY THE CRÈME BRÛLÉE!!!!!! We are definitely coming back. 4thumbs up!!!

We enjoyed the mushrooms bruschetta, escargot, and the braised beef cheek. For dessert we had the white chocolate crème brûlée. Every course was a 10/10. Service was grand. Gooooooo!

Got terrible food poisoning from eating their chicken club. Ive loved coming here for years but now I will never return because of this experience. The service was also terribly slow and inattentive and I was there at 1pm on a Friday with only 1 other table in the restaurant. Disappointing :(

We had an excellent visit to Atmosphere! The drinks were perfect and the food was very good. Nice options on the menu offering many creative culinary items. It was quite busy and we did not have a reservation which is why I only put 4 for atmosphere (we had to sit in a darker, less visually appealing section). The service was incredible. I wish I could remember our waitresses name (she was European) but she went over the top to ensure we were enjoying everything. Definitely going back! I highly recommend this restaurant!

My partner and I decided to go to Atmosphere for a 7pm reservation February 3rd for what was supposed to be 2-3 drinks and some appetizers, as neither of us had been prior. We will not be making the mistake of coming back as the service was unbearably awful. Our server was working the upper section on the main floor. She took our food and beverage order at once and then brought out our drinks. We ordered a thin crust pizza which took 45 minutes to arrive and in the meantime not once did our server check in to ask if we wanted more drinks\water. Mind you it was not an overly busy chaotic night, it was just an average evening otherwise I would have a little more compassion in regards to the timing of things\ minimal check ups.Finally after 45 minutes our pizza came out, with no side plates\ napkins and 0 quality check through the entirety of our meal. Our drinks were empty, and so was the plate for at least 25 minutes before she finally came over and removed the plate and before we even had the chance to request another round of drinks, she was walking away. Other tables in the section we were sat were also looking around, drinks emptied, plates emptied, looking very unimpressed. After she had removed our plates we waited another 20 minutes in hopes she would come back up and big shocker, she never did. We had to go up to another server to request our bill and then finally after that request, 10 minutes later she walks over with the machine, puts it on the table and walks away without saying a word. The food was great, the ambience was great but the service left an extremely poor taste in our mouths, we will not be coming back. I mentioned our experience to friends\ family and several of them mentioned having a similar experience in regards to poor service at atmosphere.

Great place, great food. Would recommend for sure. Would be 5 stars but we noticed that prices in restaurant were more than the online menu. We went for Valentines dinner so it may have been a markup for that, or their online menu just isnt updated. Not sure.

I visited atmosphere cafe in guelph for lunch and ordered their ultimate burger with house salad. The burger was huge, with a 7 oz beef pork patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, garlic aioli, dill pickle, canadian cheddar, and a pretzel bun. The patty was juicy and flavorful, but I found it a bit too salty for my taste. The bun was soft and chewy, and the cheese was melted perfectly. The garlic aioli added a nice touch of creaminess and tanginess. The pickle was crunchy and sour, but not overpowering. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. The burger was satisfying and filling, but I wish it had less salt. The salad, however, was top tier.

We both had the Ultimate Burger with House Salad. The small side salad was surprisingly the highlight of the meal. The burger patty was made of pork and beef. Sizeable but too SALTY. The aioli was also salty. The cheddar was also salty. Combining all 3 almost gave me hypertension. If the salt was reduced in 1 out of 3 ingredients, this burger could potentially one of the tastiest burgers out there. Nothing special about the atmosphere of the establishment but service was good.

Super cozy spot- great service, good pizza ( one was enough for two people to share ) and the coffee was amazing and served with raw sugar, we got seconds to take with us. Also heard the table next to us raving about their cocktails

Had a wonderful experience this evening. Great service and great food. I had the pasta special (chicken, pork belly) with a side salad and a really nice draft beer from Goodlot Brewing. Highly recommend this establishment. There was a also a disco retrospective presentation that was informative and featured great music.

Great spot, Great service & Good food - The only thing was most of our main course was hot - just not the potatoes. But the Drinks & Dinners & Desserts were all great!! Dietary restrictions: They can change most of there items to a Gluten Free option. They handle Dietary Restrictions well.

Had fantastic cocktails and a meal here the other night with a friend. The atmosphere (haha) inside is really nice. we had the loveliest server. Great tasting cocktails very reasonably priced. The menu for dinner had a ton of selection, it was hard to choose. had the tofu bahn mi it was fantastic. Coming back here again.

The service was great as was the pizza, but the tomato soup of the day lacked any flavor and the burger was literally the worst burger Ive ever had in a restaurant. I recommend going here, just avoid the burger.

Heard about this place from our Guelph friend and had to try. Nice little hideaway on a quiet downtown street. Not too large, but we were early lunch time on a Wednesday so didnt expect crowds. The menu looked interesting and fresh with unique twists on the university staple...pizza! I had the daily soup and pizza special while the ladies split a club sandwich (very large) with sides The club look kike it was on a whole wheat texas toast and it was packed! Thick slices of real chicken with bacon, tomato, mozzerella and....advocado. Nice touch. Came with a really fresh house salad As for me, the soup was a tomato and goat cheese puree that just lit up yor mouth with a nice clean light taste. The pizza was sliced sausage (not on the menu) and it was delicious. The crust was thin, but supportive, the toppings were generous and well proportioned with just enough cheese to hold it all together. Add in great coffee and good service for a reasonable price and you have a winning combination for lunch Check it out next time you are in Guelph

Favorite restaurant and bar in guelph by far, took my dad here for his 83rd birthday. Wonderful service, thanks to Brooklyn, and Brynna for looking after us, they were phenomenal. All the food was great cant go wrong. I came back recently to the bar, Mitchell and Aaron looked after me and the drinks were 10/10 both service and quality was exceptional. Everyone at Atmosphere makes the experience better and thanks to all of you for the hard work you do. Special thanks to Nicole for being a stellar owner!

We had Atmosphere Cafe cater a large gathering and all the guests raves about the food ! They did an amazing job and were very accommodating as it was a bbq and it poured rain all day but made it work !!! Thx Shawn and the staff

Super disappointed we love this restaurant and have eaten here before. The food is amazing and staff are super friendly. What happened last night was totally preventable. We waited an hour for 5 pieces of bruschetta, which whatever it is what it is. But then our waiter told us he would comp our desserts because it took an hour to get an app on the table. The food came shortly after and they had entered or made the wrong meal for my mother in law. Instead of short rib they made lamb shank. Since everything is made to order we knew it would be a while before seeing her actual meal. The three of us ate while she sat there and waited 30 minutes for the proper meal to come out. Finally we ordered our four desserts which were amazing got brought the bill and realized the waiter only comped one dessert. Being easy guests we didn t want to make a big deal out of it but we were super disappointed to say the least. The food was so good but I m not sure we will go back just because the service was not there.

Honestly, it was quite a nice visit , it was a really hot day out and we went in for a drink and a dessert, the lady who served us was really nice, she came over right away and gave us water and told us that even if we dont stay we should still hydrate. We ended up getting an Italian soda and a ginger ale as well as a creme brule as Ive always wanted to try it , all in all it was some great dessert and an amazing atmosphere , would 100% go again. Together for the two drinks and the dessert it was only 20$

Great gluten free options & love their hot drinks menu. The cafe itself is warm and inviting with an artsy vibe and great for cocktails & conversation. The cheesecake is a favourite.

Amazing Jerk Chicken tacos

The atmosphere is great. I only wish the menu was more inclusive/ comprehensive of food allergies/ intolerances. I went for a drink and couldnt order anything from their menu: no uten free pizza or bread, most dishes had at least one ingredient that not everyone can take digest that easily.

We were searching for a nice patio that was dog-friendly and we found it! The food, drinks and service were incredible. We live in Kitchener and it is very much worth the drive to come here. The pizza and sandwich I had were so very good and the energy here is refreshing.

Ordered the short rubber dinner and the Asian sticky rice meal and a signature cocktail, the gin fizz. Cocktail wasn t anything to write home about, wouldn t order it again. Short rib meal did have a generous portion of meat with it, which was nice. The meat was tender but there was too much tomato paste used and not enough other spices. And the carrots were al Dante technically cooked but quite hard still. The Asian sticky rice was had by my dining companion who said the tofu was bland and the stick rice wasn t very good. I tried a bit of the sticky rice and it tasted like someone had dumped a quarter of a bottle of sesame oil on it, I honestly spit it into my napkin. If it was my meal, I would have sent it back, but she didn t want to make a fuss. Overall quite disappointing and we won t be back.

Very rude wait staff. Asked my 80 year parents to leave a table in shade after they sat at a table to eat ice cream with their 8 year old daughter. Not even a polite sorry to ask but these tables are for the restaurant use only . It was a rude you have to move when there was one other couple in the whole place. I would think a neighborhood resto would connect that elderly people treated with kindness means you gain patrons of their family.

Have always loved the drink menu, service, and (ahem) atmosphere, here. Their patio also affords hard-to-beat people-watching opportunities. Not always a fan of the menu, but thats just down to my own personal preferences and I commend them for not offering typical pub fare.

One of the best Covid-19 Safe patio spaces in Guelph! Lots of separation, sanitizing wipes, and friendly staff who explain the protocol and makes you feel safe. Top if off with some great eats, and great drinks, you cant go wrong stopping here. Oh, and they have some nice heaters to help make the patio season stretch a little while longer!

My mom and I had a great lunch at Atmosphere today - superfood salad was awesome, service was friendly and prompt, nice view of city hall from our lovely window seat. Thank you Atmosphere staff!!

One of my favorite Guelph restaurants. Never disappointed. Salads. pizzas, appetizers, all delicious!

Their twinkling lights, amazing music, combined with the splash pad water sounds made a great evening patio spot. Their drinks are what they should be most known for! I got the Aperol spritz which got me quite happily buzzed and my partner got a Ceasar and moscow mule & all were 10/10. The Margherita pizza had huge slices of salted tomato which was atypical but surprisingly good! Wouldnt recommend the scallops as an app though- very small portion for the price.

The Atmosphere Cafe is wonderful. We especially love their thin crust pizzas. The Woodland mushroom pizza is our favourite. Food is consistently good and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

A wonderful place tucked out of the way. Theres a cozy atmosphere and great service. The food is always delectable. Tonight I tried the shaken margaritas and theyre awesome. Its often busy, so a reservation is never a bad idea. Highly recommend. Parking: You may need to park a couple of blocks away.

Decided to stop in for lunch today while running an errand. I haven t been here in years but sure wish I had come back sooner. Great staff and service. Amazing service. The owner Nicole gave me great suggestions and chef Shawn made the best borscht soup yet! I have already decided this will be my next lunch date with friends. Definitely worth a visit!

This hidden gem serves the most amazing food. Very impressive how its all prepared from the galley kitchen. Just amazing. Definitely will be back.

Then the pâté. Th ey have changed the recipe since last l was there. My dining partner liked and ate it. Potato and leek soup. Grilled shrimp. Again, slight change of recipe. I ate them. Just cooked, no loss of flavour. I really didn t want or need the slight spiciest, but the perfect cooking compensated. Crème brûlée for dessert. Pretty, too sweet. 2 very good mojitos. WServer endlessly patient and cooperative. This is always a nice place to go. Also, it is quiet..no loud music, no loud patrons.

Enjoyed deliciously flavourful dinner and the most yummy California Chardonnay Long Barn! Dessert was a good size piece of cheesecake with more toppings and a side biscotti- decaf coffee very good and our server was sweetest funny young gal! Definitely coming back!! Everything perfect!! While the location is great, I dont think the food lived up to expectations and somewhat pricey for what you get.

Me and a few friends stopped by for drinks. They have a varied selection of all types of drinks. Both alcoholic and not. The waitress was very polite and very helpful. Will have to try food next time. But I had a lovely experience.

Ordered the tofu banh mi (recommended by staff) and burger to-go and we were stunned at how good both were! Literally returned a few weeks later to have the same order again hahaha! Pre-COVID, we loved coming here in the winter because of how cozy and intimate it is inside, and the selection of art is always wonderful!

I picked up take out for myself and 4 coworkers, all five of us were SUPER impressed! I had the BEST vegetarian sandwich ever, pizzas were awesome too. Everything was ready exactly on time which is a nice touch. This will be our new go to lunch spot for sure!!!!

Ive been eating healthy, really needed a treat and did I ever find what I was looking for at atmosphere. The ultimate burger is just warm welcoming hands full of decadence and the woodland pizza was the perfect pair. The quality ingredients and just shear quantity on the pizza is unmatched in Guelph. The power bowls are great too.

Great Tasting food the Ultimate Burger is forever in my top5, so lush and juicy. Great place for an intimate evening or hanging on the patio for a few brews. One of the nicer choices for takeout when you want a little extra decadent freshness. Overall a charming spot I would recommend.

Im from Toronto (well, Mississauga), and came to Guelph to visit friends - she took me to this very sweet establishment and we had great service, I ordered the Tofu Banh Mi sandwich and it came with a salad, it was absolutely delicious! And the price was amazing. I would LOVE to eat here again!

I walked in and was welcomed promptly by a server. She was nice, knowledgeable about the menu as she answered my question, gave me recommendations for draft beer, ended up with an Elora that paired well with my meal. All in all service was great. The food was fantastic. I never knew I could crush a burger that fast while not being super hungry, it was to put simply, AMAZING! What comes on the Ultimate Burger makes it sound like it will be super weird, possibly disgusting. But it makes you a beliver after you taste it that corn relish and sprouts should be on ever burger! Aleast it did me. The roasted red pepper vinegarette was really good. I know it was meant for the salad but I dunked my burger in it once and was freaking out! it was so freaking good, it combod so well. It made the salad really good too, I dont know what the nuts in the salad were but it made the salad just that much better. I had a great time here. Ill probably come back soon as Im craving another burger.

Wow! The food here is out of this world. Had some of the most unique pizza. It was so good. I ordered their gluten free crust and was blown away. It is so delicious that you dont even notice the difference.

Every time our family comes here, we get excellent food and service. We also like the cool artwork on the walls (which changes frequently).

Guelph has a good restaurant scene. Been to a number of places since my daughter goes to university there. Picked her up today and tried this place. Lobster tuna sandwich, ultimate burger, salmon sandwich and steak pizza. Oh yeah pear salad. All were excellent dishes, seasoned perfectly, tasted homemade for sure. Going back again.

Everything about this place is great. The ambience, the service and the lighting. The food was a bit pricey but it was worth it for a night out. Cant say enough about how much your experience improves with you have a quality server who pays attention to the details. We were lucky enough to have that with Chris on our visit.

Atmosphere has set a great system for takeout. The have created delicious takeout meals and par cooked them. You can pick up or they deliver. Cant eat the minute you get your meal home? No problem, you can finish cooking it when you are ready. They seem to be the only restaurant in Guelph doing this. Also they make the best salad dressing.

Its hard to find a place that has great pizza, I tried the thin crust gluten free, its was amazing !!! We tired the pizza that had pesto sauce goat cheese spinach and nuts on it, this was something out of the norm for me And it was one of the best pizzas I ever tasted Amazing flavors !!! I live 90 mins away and I would definitely drive down this way again soon to have another one of their wonderful pizza

Food was tealy tasty! 2 of us had the lobster tuna salad and another had the a vevetarian sandwich and salad. It was our 1st tims at Atmosphere. A friend made a great selection for us since we were meeting mid way between toronto and Guelph. Service was wonderful and very helpful. Food allergies were very accomodating. Great place for any meal.

Four of us attended dinner on the patio. Service was prompt and were quite happy with our entres. Definitely reccomend the beef short ribs they were delicious!

They did a great job of accommodating our large group on short notice, the food was up to their normal standard and service was good.

Atmosphere cafe is my favorite restuarant in Guelph for sure. Their service is always outstanding and their food is the same. They have an amazing burger that I seriously dream about sometimes. Atmosphere is the reason I became so addicted to smoked salmon because of their salmon crisps that they used to sell. Their mixed drinks are always perfectly balanced. Their chefs, bartenders and waiters are all extremely talented, well trained and knowledgable. If I could afford to go every day I would. Since I have moved out of town I have been sincerely missing this restuarant in my list of regular hot spots. Love you guys !

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere.

Stopped in while walking around and had a couple of pints and the antipasto appetiser. I am guessing it has a cooler vibe when it is busier because it was basically staff talking to each other or on their phone while walling past our table. Wasnt sure which washroom to use Fire, wood.water or air( or whatever it was) and not a fan of unisex washrooms. The antipasto plate was just ok for $19. We couldnt eat the gin cured salmon because it was sooooo salty. The flatbread was just crackers .

One of my go-to places in Guelph. Ive eaten here for more than 10 years and it never disappoints. Countless birthday parties, lunch breaks, and staff dinners to count. It really lives up to its name with quality food and a fun place to relax.

Atmosphere Cafe has a great downtown location, an amazing space and friendly staff. The food was not consistently good. Our group ordered hot apple cider to warm up from the - 16 C day and received warm, clear, apple juice. No spices, cinnamon sticks or any hint of cider. The spinach, squash and beet salad was delicious. Every bite brought me back to the present moment! The special of the day, a cream of mushroom soup would have been better if it were not so salty. Our waitress took back our ciders and did not charge us for them after we pointed out that isnt what we were expecting. Would I go back? Probably. The salad was good enough for me to give Atmosphere a second chance.

Perfect everything. Food, service, drinks and cozy with good tunes. Chill vibe with happy people everywhere.

The food and atmosphere were good. The service was weak..i.e servers didnt check on us at all. Had to walk to the front to pay.

Simply wonderful. The service was excellent, and all of the staff, from the moment we walked in, were friendly and accommodating. Their gluten free pizza crust is too good to be true ... In fact, the waiter commented that people often question whether its actually gf. The salads were fresh, colourful and tasty. After dinner coffees were top quality, and the desserts were sinful, without being overly sweet.

Service was very attentive and good. Server was very pleasant and checked on us and the food a number of times - so, well done ! Food was good, but I was not wowed by it. I had the Gnocchi and Spiced Pulled Beef main, which lacked flavour I anticipated. My wife had a goat cheese salad main, which was evidently quite tasty, although a touch on the small side. App shared was a Bruschetta with tasting bowls of various toppings which was good. A pleasant evening and we will return.

This place never disappoints. Best salads in town! Updated Review: Came back (of course!) on Aug 29 2019 for supper with the SO. Ordered crab cakes, Atmosphere salad, braised short rib, Italian soda, coffee and desserts. The caramello was so delish, definitely plan to come back on my own and contemplate life while sitting in a quiet corner sipping on one of those this coming winter. The food was incredible, the service from Chris was impeccable, and the Atmosphere was perfect! Thanks for another great evening!

The pizzas here are to die for. So bloody delicious. Wait time can be a bit long because it s a TEENY kitchen, but they make it happen. Totally worth the wait. They have house made chips with dip, best appetizer ever.

Their pear and avocado salad is the best salad i have ever had! Lobster white tuna sandwich is also yummy would definitely come back hereWe also had the homemade potato crisps to start which were very good. That being said, one of my friends food was forgotten so he had to wait while everyone ate

Food is a bit disappointing, but the patio is beautiful and dog friendly.

One of my favourite places in Guelph!!! The food is delicious -- fresh, local and so yummy, the service is outstanding and the patio truly is one of the best in downtown Guelph -- a perfect place to enjoy a glass of Napa Valley Chardonnay!! Thank you Nicole for always making our visits so enjoyable!

Had an espresso and a couple cookies while on break. Friendly and fast service. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Both the espresso and cookies were very good.

Such a cute little café. Privately owned, which we love. The food was made absolutely perfect as well. Everything was so delicious, we left completely satisfied. Portions are generous as too. We will definitely be coming back.

Atmosphere has been me and my husband s favourite restaurant in Guelph for years. The food is so fresh, healthy and made with whole foods, which is important to me. The servers are always really nice and helpful. They have the best salads, pizzas and cheesecake too!

Service is very good. Had a pizza and a beer with some friends and found it just ok... really wanted to try the drinks. A bit pricy.

Weve eaten here twice and really liked it. The white fish special was excellent, the burger was excellent, the mushroom pizza was good but not needed something more (I added salt & pepper). The beer options are good if youre into Ontario craft beers but for us (too hoppy), a classic German or Belgium beer would add so much to the experience.

The salmon was fresh, bagel was amazing and the salad dressing on the side was divine! One of the best smoked salmon sandwiches Ive ever had!

Great quaint spot. The garlic romaine salad is spectacular, gnocchi with beef is mmm mm. Always a quite and delightful evening!

Went in after being recommended to check it out when I had dinner at Turtle Jacks the other weekend by my regular server, Shawna. She gave me her schedule at her second restaurant and I decided to try it out. She recommended the Cabernet which was delicious. The gnocchi is to DIE for and so was my dates duck confit. Amazing presentation and great, friendly service. 10/10 for this guy!

Cozy atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff, amaaazing food and the portion sizes are perfect! Weve been here 4 times now and it is for sure our favourite place to eat.

Steak pizza was amazing . Soup was also great and a nice place to enjoy a quick bite.
