Freshest tastiest Chinese food around. Generous portions in each container. Huge chunks of chicken in the chicken balls, chicken and bean sprouts, and the chicken fried rice. Good value for what you get. Highly recommend!

The bbq is good, but I find them really salty, especially the bbq pork. I wish they can make it much less so, and not soak them constantly in salty source. This nearly applies to all the bbq meat that I have tried. I would like to taste the real meat, rather than the source.

Best place to get Chinese BBQ in the KWC and Guelph area. I make the drive to Guelph just for their Chinese BBQ!

Place was clean and staff were polite and friendly. The roasted pork was VERY good. I highly recommend! however we ordered two chickens dishes (soy & ginger) and we were not impressed that they were served cold. We had asked both to be reheated and they came back rubbery and bland. Will not be ordering that dish again. However I will recommend the pork for sure, I only wish the portions were a bit more.

This place had great food and friendly staff but my most recent experience had me wondering why all my food seemed dry... Comparable to Sunsuns after midnight. The food quality did not meet the price point. Food

Sorry that I will give you guys a 1 star only, I ordered beef ho fen noodles, fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, fried rice was dry and the sweet n sour wasn t enough sauce no pineapple and bell pepper that supposed to have some and even the ho fen noodles was dry with few pieces of beef. Very disappointing. It s a no no.

Returned here a year later and didn t enjoy it. The bbq pork was okay, wouldn t recommend the chicken or duck. Meat portions seemed small, didnt feel it was worth the price

I had the Cantonese chow mein. If you want toha e the noodles crunchy you need to ask. The shrimp dish that was coated had the shell on underneath. I didnt like that but maybe others like that. Preference I guess. The atmosphere is very simple but the food is good. They also keep the tea flowing. Nice.

Its so unfortunate that after years of patronage I have to adjust my review from 5 stars. Something has changed and the attention to detail and care for quality has disappeared. $120 out the window and a hungry family still to feed with absolutely no help from the restaurant. Never again.

We ordered from Guelph BBQ for the 1st time yesterday, had it delivered. Absolutely the best Chinese food weve ever had. Will definitely be ordering from there again and letting friends and family know about it. The service was quick and very efficient.

This Chinese Restaurant is the most authentic in Guelph Period! and it never shows up on searches for Chinese food which is telling about google search, the higher search hits must pay for their results, they have a 4.7 rating! Bbq pork is really good for both quality and price!

Wanted to try some place new and found this little gem. I walked in to a very clean restaurant and a warm welcome. It was very hot outside and so they insisted I wait inside with the AC and a glass of ice water while my food was being made. The food was delicious, and I look forward to going back for a dine-in meal.

The perfect spot in Guelph for Chinese BBQ, even if there arent that many options in the area. Terrific Roast Pork - expertly prepared for that juicy, savoury meat and crsipy skin! In addition, the BBQ pork is just the right level of sweet. Ill be heading back to try more items, for sure!

I don t live in Guelph and found this place serendipitously while looking for bubble tea during a day trip. Decided to try their roast pork. Normally, I frequent restaurants in the GTA, Hamilton and points in between. This restaurant s roast pork is one of the best I have tried in recent memory. The pork was good quality, meat was not too salty, and the crackling was very nice, reminded me more of the thinner cracking of Lechon, from the Philippines rather than Hong Kong style roast pork. I can t speak for the rest of the menu but I will make my way back to Guelph for more of their delicious roast pork. Sufficient free parking.

Amazing taste, and such a good service.

Way ABOVE and BEYOND expected for taste and freshness of food. Overall service experience for a Chinese food restaurant in Guelph is the absolute best to be had. Amazingly flavoured bbq pork ribs, honey beef was crispy and explosively delicious, the roast duck was so good i ate the bones! The tea was free and they kept our cups full. Chicken fried rice was full of chicken and no soy sauce was needed on anything. Ordered extra to take away. Truly a privilege to eat here, very grateful for this opportunity. This place reminds one of how they treat people in Thailand or in French Samoa. We will return again soon and tell many other people.

Amazing food, they go above and beyond for service, and are so friendly. Came with friends for takeout, had it hot and ready on time, the Calamari is out of this world. The owner even gave us 15 fresh spring rolls for free to split between the 3 of us. I LOVE GUELPH BBQ

Guelph BBQ is a locally owned restaurant that specializes in Chinese BBQ which unique for the area. The food had good flavours, I especially enjoyed the smokiness from the wok in the beef and flat noodles dish. Out of all the BBQ meats I enjoyed the roast duck, the char siu was a little too lean for my tastes but still good. Service was friendly and attentive, owner is very helpful if you have any questions about the food or catering options.

Excellent, excellent BBQ roast pork, Honey BBQ pork, roast duck, and calamari. I havent been disappointed with a single thing on the menu I have almost had everything on it. Fast and friendly service, always helpful with suggestions. I dream about this place when I have to eat somewhere else. So I have tried more of the dishes, I love the eggplant, bean sprouts, and duck. My favorite place in Guelph, hands down.

Tried for first time a month ago and we were extremely impressed. Food is fantastic and plenty of it. Each dish tastes different, unlike some Chinese food restaurants where every dish has a similar taste. Very friendly folks. Went again last night and food was consistant with last visit. Thumbs up

We were so excited to finally try this place. The lady who took my order, over the phone, was extremely nice and she was just as nice when I picked up. Not sure if they have a new cook or it was a bad night, But the food was some of the worst chinese food we have had unfortunately. The BBQ Pork was dry and chewy, the noodles had no flavour. The beef ho feng had no sauce on the noodles or beef so it was just dry beef and noodles. The chicken fried rice was also incredibly dry and flavourles. The chicken balls and chicken wings were incredibly greasy (tasted like the oil was old), which usually means the oil wasnt hot enough when cooking. The only thing that we enjoyed were the vegetable spring rolls. I wanted to love it, but we had a lot left and threw it away as no one wanted the leftovers. Sadly 85.00 wasted.

Hands down the best authentic chinese bbq in town. This place makes the bbq at ethnic supermarket look like amateurs. No more driving to Mississauga or Toronto. The prices are comparable to places out of town. Highly recommended!

BBQ pork had a good flavour, but way too much fat and gristle for my taste. Rice was old and hard. Veggies were meh.

Treasure barbecue shop! The soy sauce chicken is delicious and tender! The skin of the roasted pig is very crispy~ The roasted duck tastes bland, but it is obvious that it is made from fresh duck, and it also comes with dipping sauce take out only

This may be some of the worst food and customer service I have had in some time. I found the food very greasy and the sticky rice was very very small portions. I had such high hopes for this place. Big disappointment. Will I be back? Nope. There are so many better options for food in this neighborhood. Even though it says Eat in just not true. Can t blame Covid any longer. Just can t be bothered to offer this service and not willingly to make a change to their main sign.

Ordered delivery, it came quickly and well packaged. Only complaint is that the background noise was so loud when I was trying to order that I had to yell for the person on the other end to hear me. Food was really delicious, we will definitely order again!

So YUMMY! I wish I took pictures but we gobbled it right up! We got an order of the kung pao chicken, bbq pork on rice and veggies and 5 spring rolls. The rice was so fluffy and paired amazing with the bbq pork and veggies. The kung pao was the perfect spicy and crunchy. The pricing was great for the value as well. Will be back to try more! My son and I stopped in for a late lunch. We were immediately greeted by the friendly owners, who pointed out the BBQ items, and the photos hung on the wall. We had a fantastic meal of: BBQ and Crispy pork, some dimsum dishes, chicken fried rice and we took some dimsum home (their sesame balls are the best). We even got some free noodles to take home. Food is excellent - some of the best weve had in the KW/Guelph region, and the service is fast and friendly. Ive recommended this place to several people - expect some KW traffic!

Great, authentic chinese BBQ! The staff were so friendly and so sweet, they went above and beyond to welcome us. The food was great, with the crispy roast pork being my favorite. I live in Waterloo for school, so I had to make a trip out to Guelph to try this. I d say it was definitely worth it! Also, while we were there, another customer mentioned she comes out from Kitchener just for their crispy roast pork. She did advise us that they don t always have it though, so do call ahead if you re looking specifically for crispy pork.

I was so speechless. I ordered the meal 40 minutes in advance. When it arrived, I was told that I would have to wait another 20-30 minutes... I forgot to place the order... I was so disappointed. I have never seen anything like this.

The food is absolutely to die for, it is a good sizer serving and the taste is spectacular. The service is extremely friendly and the chef came out to make sure the food was made to our liking. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great bite to eat at a great price!

Food was absolutely incredible. The portions are huge and everything is absolutely delicious. The service was incredible with lots of smiles and a super friendly atmosphere. Menu was huge and the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen made it difficult to narrow down what to eat, especially since its all so good. We came with a party of six, and after spending about 20$ per person, we all left with food for left overs. Will be coming back any opportunity I get!

I bought 1/2 a BBQ duck and did not actually got a full half but was charged for 1/2 duck price. This is very disappointing in the dishonesty on the portion. This is bad business. I travelled from far to give them a try but was very disappointed. I would highly recommend any one to check the portion before leaving the store.

This is by far one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Guelph. I worked in Toronto for many years and ate at restaurants in Chinatown on Spadina, there s nothing closer to having that than Guelph BBQ. Delicious authentic and I d go again for sure. We spent 80$ here for a big meal for my family and I, none of the food was good (chicken fried rice, Peking pork, roast chicken, chicken balls, etc.) and all of it had a similar singular taste which was not good. Ive been joking with my wife since we had it that it s just MSG shaped into different foods. Will never eat again.

Guelph BBQ saving me in this period of physical distancing by providing all of my Chinese BBQ and dim sum needs. Their half duck is my go to order, and the crispy roast pork is always 100%!!! The salt fish fried rice is incredible, and recently I tried the Malaysian ho fen and vermicelli and it was DELICIOUS. Our favourite comfort food place, and the owners and staff are so nice! Support local businesses and get delicious food!

Dropped in for the first time on my way through Guelph. Pickup Roast Pork, BBQ Pork and a Soya Sauce Chicken. They were all fresh and tasty. IMO, this is one of the best Chinese BBQ Restaurant in the GTA and I had shopped in a few different ones. Chef/owner is very friendly. And the BBQ display is much cleaner then some of the other places. I would return more often if I werent 40 kms away.

ive eaten at a lot of chinese restaurants in guelph and this is the first place that didnt disappoint, it actually really impressed me. the store is immaculate, really really clean which makes me feel great about eating there. the food was amazing, good prices, and even the takeout containers impressed me. i cannot wait to try more foods from here, they have such a unique selection of dishes!

Love how they have a Chinese BBQ here in Guelph. Its definitely comparable to a lot of good Chinese BBQ spots in Toronto.. might be even better! It is a little more expensive than the ones I get in Toronto but its still great portions, food value for the price, clean and super flavourful. I also like that they offer dim sum items and other dishes which I have yet to try. Definitely one of the better restaurants here in Guelph. The smell of my takeout was so intoxicating, it made me want to just eat it on the spot.

Ive been here three times now. Once I got a range of takeout dishes (some barbeque, a few dim sum dishes, and some stir fries) and the other two was just purchasing some barbeque. Wow! It is incredibly delicious. This has become my new favourite Chinese restaurant in Guelph, both for a full takeout dinner but also nice to pick up some barbeque to use in my cooking throughout the week. The duck and pork are both amazing - best Ive had outside of China town in Toronto (and better than much of what Ive had there).

Time of Visit: April 3, 2022 Item ordered: BBQ Roast Pork My mom picked up an order and I went in to use the washroom. The lady staff gave me an unwelcoming vicious look. I entered the washroom, and the washroom lights turned off after 1 minute. I was left in pitch black for a while. When I headed to the sink, the lights turned back on. Its a sick joke.

Phenomenal food prepared and served by lovely staff in a clean and bright space. Weve been (impatiently) awaiting the opening of this restaurant, and were not disappointed at all. Well definitely be regular customers! EDIT: Two years later, and I am most definitely a regular customer. Ive only ever been treated well here, and constantly go back for my favourite BBQ meats, dim sum, and house specials.

Clicked the PDF on their site and went through it to pick items to ordered. When I ordered everything was way higher than it says. They said they increased prices and if you scroll down their main page, yes the new prices are reflected. The PDF should be changed to reflect that. Also, the PDF is dated January 2021 and now in June 2022 almost all of these prices are way higher, $7 increase on the family pack? Left a bad taste in my mouth and I didnt even try their food due to that.

So good and authentic. We used to live in Markham so we were curious if the bbq was as good as in the GTA. Truly authentic and super delicious. Just as good if not better than most places in Markham.
