Wonderful flavourful meal, a great group experience

My friends and I decided to take a break from university food and treat ourselves to dinner at a restaurant. Big mistake. It took 15 minutes just for the server to show up with water and take our order even though the place was practically empty. Then we waited a ridiculous 45 minutes for our food to arrive, only for it to show up cold. To make it worse, the steak was burnt, and I had to wait even longer for them to bring my plate. The manager explained how someone called in sick last minute, and they could provide a discount of like 2 dollars. The service was poor, the food was a complete letdown, and the whole experience was beyond disappointing. Never going back.

This restaurant, especially the staff, left a lasting impression on us. My teenage son made mention of how nice everyone was. Jude the host and Jamie our server made us feel welcome from the start. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, yet classy at the same time. In addition to the service, the food was prepared in a timely fashion and was absolutely delicious. We will be returning for a visit soon!

Ordered two steak sandwiches - absolutely impossible to eat or chew- so tough it was inedible- spent over $70 and all went in garbage . We will never eat from here again and highly recommend no one waste their money in Milestones

Amazing food & service! Highly recommend the bruschetta and the cauliflower starter (with the spicy buffalo dip). The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, perfect for family dinners, celebration dinners, even a date! All the waiters/hosts were smiling and polite. The ravioli quantity was less then expected, but taste was still amazing. And the white chocolate cheesecake is a 10/10 as well My favourite part was the service! The waiter (I believe Henry) did his job excellently, had great recommendations, and made great conversation. Truly amazing hospitality from his side. Overall, 10/10. Albeit we were a large group. My brunch was the absolute worst. Home fries were overcooked and burnt to a crisp and arrived lukewarm. Sausage was stone cold and pretty sure was raw. One bite and I was almost sick. Terrible experience

My husband ordered my favourite salad via Uber after other dinner plans didnt work out. Sadly, the salad was supposed to be a nice pick-me-up was a huge letdown. For $18.95 I got a plate of wilted spring mix lettuce with maybe half a strawberry cut into slices, a teaspoon of goat cheese, three walnuts and one ring of red onion. The avocado was mush. Super disappointed. The only saving grace was the dressing.

It is really frustrating that I took my niece out to dinner for her birthday, as the butternut squash ravioli is her absolute favourite...and is pretty much the only reason why we come here just to find out that they are out of the ravioli once again. It is one of your signature dishes, it should not be something that is not available, as this is not the first time this has happened on a special occasion.

Stop in for some drinks at the end of a work week. Stood at the greeting counter for five minutes and nobody came to seat us. The place was not busy at all so we sat ourselves in the bar area. We sat there for 10 minutes and nobody came served us. I noticed the manager and the bartender talking at the end of the bar, but never came over to take our order. We left and went to another restaurant.

Nikki was a great server and provided us with a very warm and welcome experience.

The restaurant was busy, took a bit longer than usual to get drinks started and for the food to arrive. At the price point the food quality is pretty disappointing: over seasoned with mediocre presentation. Not overly impressed with the pasta, which should be far better for the price paid. I do not recommend this restaurant, there are far better options in town at better value.

Worst experience ever! Specifically asked for food with no pork/bacon and brings a salad filled bacon. We lost all appetite after seeing bacon chunks in our salad and paid like $80 for food that we didnt even end up eating. First and last time coming here, absolutely disgraceful.

Took my parents out for a birthday dinner, and it was their first time out to Milestones. We were greeted by the host taken to our table and then we met N**h. Politely he grabbed us some waters, let us review the menus (drink and food) returned to grab our full orders. We grabbed an appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip) to share had some drinks and the evening started off great. The dip was by far the most enjoyable part of our evening at Milestones. Moving over to entrees and the next part of our evening is where everything fell apart. Our entrees consisted of: Pesto Chicken Penne Asiago, Grilled Salmon, Sushi Bowl (Ahi Tuna) & Charred Chili Lime Butter Black Cod. As the food arrived we were all excited to dig in and the first few bites we interesting, while our food look appetizing, rich and colourful, it lacked flavour, seasonings and soul. We loaded our plates with salt and pepper hoping for the best but ultimately accepting our fate. Three out of the four of us were not impressed with out meals, only one was brave enough to exchange their meal. The sushi bowl was exchanged for a hamburger due to timing and the next part of our evening. Unfortunately the hamburger was worst than the original meal. The burger was charred black on the outside and the inside was medium rare. Once again the hamburger consisted of no seasoning at all and my poor girlfriend is left eating 6oz hockey puck. After we all choked down our food N**h hands me a +$275.00 bill, begrudgingly I pay the bill as to happily never return to a Milestone location for as long as I live. Dietary restrictions: They offer vegetarian options for sure, I do not believe I saw anything gluten free on the menu. While other servers asked is there any dietary restrictions I should be aware of? sadly ours did not.

Food was mediocre and although my steak was cooked perfectly, the sides were cold or luke warm. (Garlic mashed + unseasoned vegetables). My husbands burger and fries was not up to standards. Price of meal is high but food did not justify the cost.

My parents wanted to go for supper after helping me move and we came in very close to closing (which I felt terrible about). Despite us coming in late, the staff was extremely friendly and let us order (specifically Rachel, Pratham, and Prasidh).The food was so delicious and I love this place.

Came here for a lovely dinner with my family as I love the atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised with the service as well! Our server Valerie was so sweet the whole time, and when I asked for a vanilla latte, she informed me they did not have vanilla syrup but accommodated me well and I had the best latte ive ever had. This might seem like one of those too good to be true reviews. I used to be a Server, so I feel like I have to give credit where credit is due. Pratham (the Manager), Michelle (the Server), and the Kitchen Staff provided a great experience. Personable, down-to-earth service (its rare for a restaurant Manager to be so attentive), food that not only came fast, but was delicious, and an upscale (but not pretentious) atmosphere. My night celebrating a personal milestone was a memorable one :) The people at Milestones CARED about my experience.

Horrible experience. They brought the wrong food, took way to long ( we were there 2.5 hours for a simple meal) then slightly over charged us because the meal that we actually orderd was less.

The food tasted amazing, the booth was clean, but I received the childs size salmon after ordering off of the regular adult menu. Thankfully they quickly prepared the correct order and only charged us for the kids portion, with a small discount. Very accommodating for my peanut, tree nut, and egg allergies, and my brothers wheat, milk, egg, sunflower, shellfish, and peanut allergies.

We sat at our table for an hour and 15 minutes. It took about 20mins for someone to come to our table over the next hour We got one drink and an appetizer. The appetizer, bruschetta which was really good, came fairly quickly, but the dirty plates sat on our table until we left. We asked to have our mains packaged up to go as we were tight on time. My wife had ordered a gluten free pasta (she s celiac). We got home and order was not gluten free worst service ever!! Will not be going back here ever!!

For the amount I was paying, the food portions were too small. For $35, I got a steak the size of a hockey puck, a few sprouts, and no rice. Same with my childs food. It was busy and we waited almost an hour for our food. We left Milestones paying $135 and we were still hungry. Not a good experience.

We had Eric looking after us this evening. The food, the atmosphere & the service was absolutely wonderful. However we do have to focus on our server. His name is Eric and I honestly feel that if all your staff were like Eric, your restaurant would be full all the time. He was extremely courteous, he went over the new menu with and he was always on top of everything that we needed. Next time we come, we will be requesting a table that he is serving. Put this young fellow on full time. His attitude will definitely draw customers.

The food was cold, too salty and not good tasting. Since my main meal was cold they decided to provide me with another and would take the price of this off of the meal. When I received the bill, I assumed that they had done this and tipped extra than usual. When I looked at the bill, my meal was not taken off and I effectively paid extra for poor quality.

I have NEVER given a terrible review to any restaurant and I have visited many from Victoria, BC to St. Johns, Nfld. but on 08Jun2024, I dined for the first time @ Milestones - 185 Stone Rd. Guelph and while the service was professional, the entreé was terrible. I order Surf & Turf and there was no lobster tail or crab leg(s) but a syrupy concoction with 4 shrimps & a few bits of scallops in something like a lobster sauce (unappetizing). It was something from a can. The steak was listed as a 7 oz. sirloin, which I requested med-well. It was like a hard piece of rubber/leather and was definitely NOT 7 oz. May have been 3 oz. but that did not matter. The steak was inedible (turf for sure) and the surf was unrecognizable. It was also pricey and I am NOT complaining about the price. I was so disappointed and I will NEVER visit another Milestone Bar & Grill, even someone else pays for it or pays me to dine there. Parking: Available - Enough.

We came here for a friend s birthday and our server, Eric was the coolest server ever. We were very indecisive and he was still patient with us and we greatly appreciate him for that. Overall the food and atmosphere was a whole vibe and we had a great night!

We booked a wedding party of 26 people weeks in advance. We had a single, overworked waitress serving us. Ninety minutes after arriving half of our party was fed. 20 minutes later the rest of us were fed - many of the meals were cold but we were afraid how long the wait would be if we complained. Food quality was good as expected. As the rest of the restaurant was pretty much empty I am at a loss as to why the kitchen was not able to prepare all of our meals to be served together and hot. Really disappointing! If they dont have the staff for large groups then they should not have accepted our reservation. Will never use restaurant for a party again

Great food and great service at reasonable prices. Servers are friendly and attentive to your needs. Menu offers nice variety.

I have eaten at milestones several times and always had a great experience. It was not busy but the service was extremely slow and some of our food was barley cooked

Came here while we were in town after I found my wedding dress. We wanted a little bubbly to celebrate and they only had mini bottles of prosecco which felt a little weird. The food was pretty good but they had a date night menu that had some things you couldnt get even though they were on the regular menu too? We were a bit confused but still enjoyed our food and celebration.

Got the California Spring salad and it was so good! Creamy and crunchy all in one. Our server Eric was there to check on us and got us what we need. Atmosphere and food made for a great date night! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian/vegan options and willing to make secret menu items or customs meals. In the past have made me a custom vegan rice bowl.

Our waiter Eric was incredible,we were there in a large group and handled it like a pro.Eric got everybody s order corect and was so friendly and sweet.Eric truly made our night so special and I am so glad that our dance team chose to do our yearly dance dinner with Eric and with Milestones.Thank you so much Eric for making our teams dinner so calm,relaxed and enjoyable.I can t wait to return for our future dance dinners and to see our favourite waiter Eric again.I would recommend this dinner to anyone who is looking to spend a fun night out with a group of friends and relax. My experience here was extremely pleasant. We had a sever called Eric, he was extremely patient with the large group we were. He gave us wonderful service and made the experience wonderful. I will be coming back.

Waited an hour to have them completely forget part of the order and made no effort to correct or make up for it. Will not return.

Came in with my partner on April 13th around 7 ish. Waited about 20 minutes for our food which was decent. Our server Aria however was not the greatest. We felt forgotten about at times and neglected.

Ordered 3 main dishes through Skip The Dishes. Two were fine but the Mediterranean Chicken was not edible. The chicken was very heavily salted and soooo peppery no one could handle eating it. Odd because we ve ordered it at the restaurant many times.
