Food was excellent, well prepared and they were accommodating to Gluten Free foods. Cosy atmosphere. Menu excellent and plenty of choice and reasonable.

This place is a little hidden gem so glad we gave it a chance, definitely will be going back.

Went to Park Eatery for a last minute dinner. It was excellent food and service. Hoping this spot remains a neighbour staple.

Great staff and menu selection! Its a bit tight in there but that adds to the atmosphere. Especially on a cold snowy day.

Went to support Movember and the Burger for their support was interesting, yet not the toppings of choice. It was a large Burger. It was cooked fine, yet I like my burger just past pink to have more moisture than it had. Service was very slow, and didn t get everything I ordered. Yet I didn t really need a second beer

Me and my wife stumbled upon this place during a drive through Guelph. I do not write many restaurant reviews, however, this exceptional jem deserves many. Everything is very authenticitly home made. Food is amazing and staff are also amazing.

I recently ordered the Thanksgiving dinner the portion of the entire dinner fit on a sandwich plate. I received 1 small piece of turkey and a piece of cartilage!!! With tax the dinner came to 47.00 never again!!!

Honestly, with the cost of eating out these days, its hard to find a place worth the expense! However, Parks is more than well worth it. A very cute artisanal restaurant that makes you feel at home. Super tasty food, and exceptional service! The trout sando was delicious; a large well well-seasoned/battered piece sandwiched between a soft brioche bun, whats not to love? Especially when its served with crispy french fries! The fire goddess bowl with smoked brisket was also a fav; it will leave your tummy full and your tastebuds satiated. So many more goodies to try on the menu, I will certainly be back! Keep up the great work!

Found this restaurant by accident, but what an amazingly wonderful accident!! Homemade soup, homemade everything!! They are very accommodating with allergies. Customer service was top notch. This place is a gem! Weve tried brunch and dinner and even some take out cookies (vegan and regular) and it never disappoints! If youre looking for fresh ingredients and homemade bread, give this place a try! The brisket and pulled pork is unreal!

In the past we have had all great meals here. It was a fav when we lived in Guelph. Today we showed up with our kids right as the lunch rush on a Tuesday was coming to an end. It took a really long time to be able to order our food, then the food took a really long time to come, then when it came the fries were cold and the burgers were dry. Not sure we will be back.

There were rumors floating around the interwebs declaring that Park had the best burgers in Guelph. After, finally, stopping to check it out, I can assure you these are not rumors.

Was passing through Guelph and passed this place, glad we stopped! Food was great! had the brisket dinner with the sweet potato wedges it was amazing Also got the pulled pork dinner which was good not a 5 star meal but good none the less Called the order in for take out which was quick and fresh place looked real clean and organized as well! Only thing I would of liked was a bit bigger quantity of food but overall very happy would return

Visiting Guelph from Waterloo over the weekend and the service standard is so much higher here. This place was our last stop and really impressed me most of all with the fast service, delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Makes me want to move here. Great job!!!

Was intrigued by the fish sandwich which I never usually partake in, but it was delicious.

We went for brunch on the weekend and really enjoyed our meals. One of us had a vegetable bowl, the other had the trout - an unusual but great brunch option! The food was fresh and tasty, and served with a smile. We will return, and highly recommend the Park Eatery. Vegetarian options: Lots of options available. Parking: There is a small free parking lot at the back of the restaurant. The sidewalk in the area is very uneven, so difficult for people with mobility or vision issues.

My girlfriend and I left there vowing never to return. Overall the experience was not horrible. The service, atmosphere and cleanliness were as good as most places like that. The food was the problem. Everything was far too salty. The fries looked like they had been individually dipped in salt. The sauces almost made us gag. I ate as much as my stomach could take, which was less than 1/2 my order. The waitress offered to replace my meal, but we were pressed for time and could not wait for that. We wont be back. When you pay those prices for burgers and such I expect way better.

This place is a hidden gem. It kind of reminds you of sitting around the table with the family when you were a kid. The food was excellent. I had soup and it had good size pieces of roasted chicken. It came with a tea biscuit. It was so delicious I ordered 4 to go. I was worried about parking downtown but was delighted to find they have their own parking lot.

Nice little spot for a meal. The service was quite good and our server was very attentive and pleasant with our little girl. My main critique is just that I find the food mediocre. Its decently prepared but just kind of lackluster. The fries were fine and the brisket was also just fine, but neither were super generous. The coleslaw is how I like it, with a vinegar rather than creamy, but had almost no flavour. Id like to give higher marks to a good local business, but every time we eat here or order takeout the food is never quite as good as wed like it to be.

Just came back from Park Eatery , for a second try (the first visit was so-so). I had a chimichurri chicken sandwich and my wife had a chicken club sandwich We both were extremely deceived. There were not even 2 onces of chicken in both sandwiches, the fries are precooked fries and the brisket gravy was horribly too salty and way overpriced ($2,50 for a 2 oz serving). I always give a second chance but you burned your chance

So, just returned home from our Brunch at Park Eatery. Weve frequented Park many times, starting when they first opened up. Our first visit was pretty good(ish), but they needed to work out some kinks in the Service and Food, which is to be expected. Ive been dining out for over 40 years and really enjoy doing so. Never have I given a bad review as its an extremely hard business and so many things can go wrong that are out of your control. Ive had plenty of bad experiences in restaurants over the decades, but having deep rooted ties in this industry, I will never give a bad review out of pure respect and admiration for all those that work within. Until now. Today we walked in, and as expected, had a bit of a wait to be seated. Luckily, three seats were available at the front to wait for a table to open up. Great, order some coffees and chill until our table is ready. Only a half hour, no big deal. Problem is, 3 sets of people walk in after weve been sitting for ten minutes, one sits in the front gets her coffee....another walks in a few minutes later, gets his coffee to go and a third couple walk in get their coffees and sit at the front and wait for their table. We looked at each other stunned. It really wasnt that busy in there. Politely get up and ask, Im sorry, were still waiting for our coffees. Strike one. Twenty minutes go by and our coffees show up. Get seated, order our food which included 2 orders of Eggs Benedict. One order had hard boiled eggs instead of poached. This is what makes Eggs Bennie, well....Eggs Bennie. Strike two. Again, politely let the server know when she came over to check on our first bites that one order had hard boiled eggs. She did offer to take them back to the kitchen, but not wanting to wait for another order, we simply said, Thats OK, if you could let the kitchen know what happened so they can keep an eye on subsequent orders. So were waiting for our bill and I noticed someone in the kitchen walk by and politely called him over that one order had hard boiled eggs instead of poached, his response...OK. What? No apology? Strike three. Now, back to my life in this industry. The bill comes, that hard boiled egg order is on the bill. If that happened in most restaurants, youd get an apology and that one item on the order would be comped. Is there a strike four?

Cold patio

This is my favorite place. I love their uniqueness with the flower murals, the cute mismatched dinnerware, they always have a great playlist going, only place I ever hear Cake playing. The service and staff are great. The washrooms are so tidy. Did I mention they have the best brisket in town??? It melts in your mouth good. My favorite is the smoked chicken dinner. Or get the best of both with a platter. Yum.

Ive lived in Guelph for 8 years now and for some reason never ate at Park Eatery until last month. Im really sorry it took me so long to figure it out. Food is really excellent and the service was both super friendly and professional. This is now my #1 go-to place for beer and burgers.

My food was delicious and it was very kid friendly without being a place for kids. There was a cool vibe and plenty of parking.

Our first time and I was very surprised at the atmosphere and very varied menu. Chocolate milk shake was great beverage choice. Server was polite and food selection was quick in arriving.

I just wanted to find a local place to purchase some treats for my hairdresser. Oh my god, all the treats on the counter were not only DELICIOUS, but were portioned and fairly priced. I will be coming back on my next visit to Guelph FO SURE! Also, a fantastic selection of artisan alcoholic and NON alcoholic beverages. What a wonderful place!

What a lovely place! Welcoming, informed staff, and delicious food! I recommend the pork belly sandwich; my wife waxed lyrical about the soup and salad combo, and my son had the brisket and declared himself to be a certified brisket lover! Milk shake was great too!

I usually prefer tropical flavours like Thai, so I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. I had the beef brisket with a super salad and coleslaw. The super salad and coleslaw were pretty colourful, and the brisket was as good as youd expect.

Usually love this place. Called for a take out order. Was answered right away and put on hold. Waited over 6 mins on hold before I hung up. I used to work in restaurants if someone waited five mins for a drink it was considered unacceptable. How is it okay to leave someone on hold that long? I took my business elsewhere.

The side gravy came in a tea cup, which was very fun! The ambiance is artsy and eclectic with country inspiration. The bottle shop offers local beers, Ontario wines, pastas, sauces, jams, and books. We have had an awesome experience visiting today while stopping by with our quick lunch before our class started!!! We specifically have found this restaurant with a lot of good reviews and have forgot about Sundays customers lining up for brunches!!! We have ordered our take out with our coffee and able to find a nice seating area to enjoy our meals!!! The friendly frontline staffs able to bring us the takeout within 15 mins and we have had our best coffee of our week as well . We definitely recommend this restaurant to all our friends in GTA and asking them to make a visit while visiting Guelph and For sure, we will make our visit again

Good, well-made food but nothing spectacular. Not organized on a busy brunch morning. Wait times can greatly vary it seems so not really sure what to expect. Food came out of kitchen fast but not hot. Simple things like greeting customers, being honest, providing water, smiling - was not the greatest experience. Overall just okay.

Our server was wonderful. Milkshakes delicious. I had the brisket meal. The brisket was very good. I wasnt thrilled with the fries. I would have preferred mashed potatoes but they dont have them. We had a cup of soup and it actually comes in a cup! Soup was great too. I would go back although I do wish they had mashed potatoes.

Amazing food, went after going to the bakery across the street with a friend and it did not disappoint. They carry non-alcoholic sparkling cider thats kind of hard to find, and its so delicious.

Delicious food. Really. Might be busy on weekends and taking order could be slow. Dont get there super hungry. Black coffee is refilled.

I had the brisket Benedict and the smores latte which was very good. When we arrived the dining room was full but after a short wait we got in. The place has a nice old timey vibe. I was happy to see they are a Living Wage Employer, but I have to reserve a star because the payment machine is still asking for tips which always degrades the experience.

Everything I have tried on the menu has been excellent. Love the Applewood smoked chicken and the brisket. Service is always fantastic. Equally as good as takeout which is rare.

Love this place as a go-to for hearty local comfort food. While I have no reference of what a proper Texas brisket is, this is one of the best Ive personally had and Ive come back for it. Even the side fries are of the highest quality and seem hand cut and fresh fried. Service had always been kind and knowledgeable the first two times, unfortunately the last time was a clear disappointment. Our server had absolutely no clue what the current beers on tap were, and had to go back and ask the kitchen for the list. When she returned and listed brand names off, I asked what type of beer one she listed was, she looked embarrassed and motioned she had to go back and ask again. I decided to help put her out of her misery by just going with the Welly pilsner to make the interaction less gruelling for everyone at the table. A forgivable mistake for someone new, but very frustrating when I was looking forward to trying your fresh taps and was unable to, otherwise have to wait another 5mins to simply be told whats an IPA or whats a sour. After getting our drinks, and having spent nearly 15mins reviewing the menu at his point, we happily went to order our brisket mains, only to then have our server once again turn red and embarrassingly admit they werent serving that today. The item I intentionally took my family to this place for, otherwise would have returned back at a later date to enjoy it had we known... Well when shes taking our order, were kinda locked in, so we decided to just take whatever was available and quickly go with mushroom melt burgers and cuban sandwiches. Great, not what we came for, but I guess itll do. Sure, the burgers and sandwiches were good quality, but it was a huge disappointment to be let down in BOTH the beer and food I intentionally brought guests to your establishment for. Will I return, hopefully someday, but please train your staff better because that poor interaction took your establishment from a 9/10 to a 6/10 in my books. Cheers.

Very disappointed with the service, rude and disrespected. I was with my granddaughter age 6, after dinner the waitress came to our table lowered herself down and whispered something to my granddaughter while handling her a small bag. She never asked my permission, acted like I wasnt even there, she gave her two cookies, no idea why, she had no right, took me by surprise, the more I thought about it the angrier I got. It was noisy there and sitting across of me.

Vegetarian options: They have limited vegetarian options but the one that I had, the zucchini sandwich, was great.

Got take out here on a Friday night. We both had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was one of the best burgers Ive ever had and the fries were done to perfection. Looking forward to going back and trying something new.

Love it here. The decor is unique and inviting. The bowl option I had was very good and the trout incredibly delicious. The flour less brownie is dense, dark and a generous portion (enough for two people). Our server was excellent!!! Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarian options but always nice to see more

How is it possible that every visit is better than the last?! Today I went in with my kids for an early dinner. We started off being given a phenomenal milk shake that had made for an insta story. She offered it to us on the house and boy was it incredible. Our food arrived in good time, piping hot and dropped to us by a wonderful server. She was attentive, kind and also non intrusive to our conversation. All three meals were delicious. We can not wait to come back!

We had the platter with two proteins and got the brisket and pulled pork, and both were excellent. Our server, Steven, was one of the better servers Ive ever had, being available when needed, but not interrupting date night, and was helpful with our menu questions, making some great suggestions. The contact tracing was easy and the menu was great. The beer came in a frozen mug which was delightful on a super hot afternoon. The neighbourhood group of restaurants are our favorite in town.

I live three hours away and, was in the area for an event, but I will drive to Guelph just to eat here again.

Atmosphere is great! Super cute eclectic decor. Food, disappointing. My eggs had a pool of grease on them. Double smoked bacon is code for burnt morsels of pork. The salad had so much dressing on it that it arrived soggy and slimy. My partners brisket Benny was better. The brisket left much to be desired, however the eggs were poached beautifully and the hollandaise sauce was delicious. Waitress did not check back in with us for the entire duration of our meal - the lack of service was a surprise as they have a small dining room, and many staff working. If we were to return, would likely be for cocktails only as they have some interesting options.

I shouldn t rate this place 5 stars simply because I will never be able to enjoy my coffee and brisket sandwich anywhere else as much as I did here, it is just that good. Coffee is fantastic, and I can die happily after that brisket! 100% would recommend

Amazing food. Not you average breakfast options, but worth trying their combinations. Love the environment, good service and very tasty food for a fair price. If you are looking for something a bit different than the usual, you MUST go. A gem in Guelph!

We.went out looking for a nice soup and sandwich for lunch and PARK EATERY didnt disappoint, the brisket sandwich was one of the best Ive had and the chicken chowder soup was homemade and delicious Go here for food, its so good. I would of 5 but the place was alittle cold with most patrons wearing a light coat.

Pulled pork was very good, the BBQ sauce it came with had a good bite. Fries were tasty, reminded me of home cooked fries from the farm. The Brisket however was too dry. I ve had brisket from the heart of BBQ country in the States and it s moist and tender. This tasted more like slices of burnt ends than brisket. Slaw was bland. Have to be honest, I had hoped for better.

What a great find! Brisket & Pork Belly was fantastic.

After an interaction with confrontational guests, the staff did a very professional job of defusing the situation. Someones meal was late to the table, but the staff did not charge them for any of the meals they had eaten. The guests were asked to leave after verbally abusing a member of the staff, but refused. Overall, a very safe and welcoming establishment. And of course I have to mention their delicious food! 10/10

Walked in on a whim, and dont regret it one bit. The menu was small, but I like that . everything sounded delicious. Most items are under 20 bucks. I got the park burger..amazing! The Beef was juicy and delicious. Generous helping of perfectly salted fries. My wife got the half bbq chicken with a heap of fries and the coleslaw! Oh man...I rarely eat the stuff , but parks coleslaw is amazing. Both our meals came in under ten minutes. Service was great. Definitely want to try everything on their menu. Thank you Park Eatery

Worst customer service experience ever! We called one week ahead of thanks giving to make a reservation for the turkey dinner to dine in. We were extremely clear that we are coming for the turkey dinner. On the day before, we called to confirm the reservation. Again, it was very clearly communicated that we are coming for the turkey dinner and they confirmed again on their end. We drove from another city and arrived just to be told that turkey dinner is for pickup only and we should have prepaid for it!!! The person who took the reservation then came and said she remembers the phone calls but there is nothing she can do as they sold out, without even explaining how the hell she failed to communicate our reservation properly to the kitchen in the first place! I am really baffled by the incompetency and negligence!

Probably my favourite restaurant in Guelph. Ive had almost everything on the menu and I love it all, although my favourite is probably the Park Burger. The staff are super friendly as well!

Wow. Just wow. Today was my first visit and where do I start . The extremely friendly and helpful staff is just the start. The food itself is fresh and screams being made from scratch by a creative and talented chef. The tomato soup is delicious with delightful seasoning. The seasonal salad has delightful additions that raise it above the typical salad. The burnt end poutine was very delicious and the brisket platter was tender and bursting with flavour. The birch beer was a great and complimentary touch. Finally, the Sammy was filled with a high quality of ice cream surrounded by amazing and obviously home-made chocolate chip cookies. If I could I would leave a higher score

Fantastic place !! I strongly recommend for everyone and every taste!! A very cozy place, huge selection of beers, great menu, desserts to die for and an amazing service (the waitress was perfect)

My wife and I had an excellent brunch on Sunday. I enjoyed my pork belly sandwich and the chicken corn chowder was tasty. They serve the best homefries in the city, perfectly crispy outside and almost fluffy inside. Well definitely be back!

I have been to This restaurant a couple of times now and it is nothing short of amazing. We were looking for something different, something with more character and that just gives a more intimate feeling- Park Eatery has it! The food is great and the staff are so friendly. Each time we ve gone we ve had Liv as our server- such a sweet sweet human being. Truly personable and friendly. Love this place- it s the perfect hole in the wall restaurant

One of the things I look for in a restaurant is consistency. Ever time I have been to Park Eatery the service from the staff has been amazing. Not sure her name but the girl with the Alice tattoo is great. And the food much like the service has been consistently phenomenal. I typically try the sandwich special and have never been let down.

Been to this restaurant 4 times so far, and food had been delicious each time. I need to eat gluten free and their gluten free buns taste great, and they take care to avoid cross contamination. Their milkshakes are the best in Guelph. Staff are very kind. Went for a birthday dinner and they gave me a $10 voucher for their restaurant that could be applied to a few others in Guelph as well. Will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

From the BOH to the FOH this place is a hidden spot you all have to check out everything made in house..Great Cook as well our Server was Super Friendly.... Ive been in this industry for 40yrs Ive never had such a comfortable, relaxing quaint little place to eat at.. We will definitely be coming back looking forward to eating out on their patio in nicer weather.. Both the young ladies that helped were named Alex. To all Staff keep up the excellent work..

Ordered the french toast and parfait; parfait was fine, but french toast was dry and the bread used was just store bought sliced bread. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, so three stars total.

The food is absolutely delicious!!! My husband and I had take away for the first time last evening. The food was stil hot when we arrived home (a remarkable feat for the restaurant industry), the super salad was crunchy and fresh with every single morsel just right. The peameal sandwich was juicy and flavourful alongside well seasoned, crispy fries! Sadly, after many dissatisfying take away experiences over the pandemic, THANK YOU for a memorable meal!!!

Amazing service, well priced, and great beer served super cold and well portioned. Loved the aioli dipping sauce. My only critique is that I wanted my brisket sandwich to be saucy! Still tasty though.
