Love this place. I always go out of my way to visit if Im in Guelph. Sometimes I make excuses to visit Guelph just to go. The food is great. If Andy recommends something, get it--but you cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

Taste With Andy is consistently one of the best restaurants in Guelph, and THE best restaurant if you consider flavour per dollar spent. You can t go wrong with ordering whatever the special is, whether it s Cambodian soup or banh mi. I ve been impressed time and time again with the fresh flavours and how reasonable the bill is at the end of my meal. TWA takes care to provide attentive, quick service and they don t skimp on servings. One other reviewer called this place a gem and I wholeheartedly agree. Check this place out if you get the chance.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the food or service it was all delightful. We got spring rolls, the combination samplers, tried the beef skewers and dumplings in addition. Had the special of coconut delight for dessert and all of it was phenomenal. I will be returning and I hope you check it out too. This location is not wheelchair accessible

Taste with Any in Guelph is a hidden gem! This cozy, restaurant may be small (only 7-8 tables), but it packs a big punch. We visited during early dinner hours and were impressed to see every table occupied - a testament to its popularity. The menu offers an authentic blend of Thai, Vietnamese, and Cambodian cuisine, all made with love and care. The standout dish for us was the Fried Rice with Grilled Chicken and the Lemongrass Wings absolutely delicious! We ordered the Coconut delight for dessert, sticky rice with mung bean, sesame seeds with coconut cream on top. It s an acquired taste, but I like it! Prices are reasonable, service friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Best vietnamese place Ive been too since traveling in Vietnam. Very authentic dishes, amazing flavour, great service, and fairly priced. I would recommend trying this place out! I had the the special which was stir fried beef and veggies with fried rice, and my friend had the Pad Thai. 10/10 all around! Will be back. Update: Been back 5 times and its been consistently great everytime. Andy and the staff are so friendly. They always are smiling and you can tell they do their work with passion.

One of my favourite little places to stop in for lunch. The weekly specials are always so incredible and you can tell they put in a lot of love and care into the food they make.

We went to Rockwell Conservative Area with family and while returning we thought of trying a Thai / Asian restaurant. Came across Taste with Andy. Initially we thought rating is high that means its fake rating. But, still thought of trying our luck. Hosted in the downtown of Guelph, this place is actually run by someone named Andy and he was the Chef there. Its a very simple place but the food was just amazing. Loved every bit of whatever we ordered and I tasted authentic (We have tried actual Thai food in Thailand). Thank you Andy for showering your love in the food and I hope you maintain your high standards / quality. Will definitely visit again whenever I am in Guelph.

Real flavours of Southeast Asia. Ive lived in that part of the world and have always loved the cuisines. Taste with Andy is as absolutely delicious and obviously made with care. It doesnt taste like North Americanized Asian food, it is truly authentic--rich, bright, aromatic. How did we get so lucky to have this gem set up in Guelph??

This was our first time. We dined in and it was a great experience. The food was bright, fresh and full of flavor. You get lots of protein and veggies for a reasonable price. The people are very friendly and clearly care about their customers and the quality of the food they prepare. Id recommend this place and will be going back. They deserve all the 5 star ratings because they are doing a great job! Update: I have been several times, its consistently been very good. I particularly like the spicy papaya salad. Try it!

Their vermicelli bowl is the best in Guelph in my opinion! I also love the Khao soi and papaya salad. Ordering directly through their website is very easy and the person who delivers the food is really nice. Highly recommend this place!

The food is comforting and delicious. Flavors are well balanced and the service is very personal. It is hard to find gluten free and dairy free desserts, Andys Squash custard is a slice of tropical heaven. My friend had the tiramisu, soft, fluffy and melts in your mouth. Must try and will be back. Dietary restrictions: Everything is with gluten free soy sauce. And the squash custard is gluten free and dairy free.

This place is amazing! We live in the area and wont go anywhere else for Asian food. Weve tasted most of the menu and everything is incrediblely tasty, super fresh, and nicely presented. Good portion size too. Wait time for takeout is very fast too. One of the best places to eat in Guelph for sure!

Heard so much about this place that we had to try it. My husband and I came for the first time today and it blew us away. We have both worked in the food industry, he as a chef, and I cannot say enough about our experience. If youre anywhere in Guelph, go there...you will not be disappointed! We will be back...already planning our next meal.

Delicious food made with joy. The drunken noodles and udon were both generously served and each of the different kinds of vegetables were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch and no hint of mush. The food arrived at our table absolutely piping hot (a rare occurrence in Guelph) and hot was truly spicy. The folks running this place are absolute salt of the earth and the service was excellent. We will be back!

Everything we ordered were tasty. Drunken noodle 5/5 Papaya salad 5/5 Spring rolls 4/5 Chicken satay 3/5 Squash custard 5/5 The squash custard and papaya salad were my favorites. The custard was soooo good, never had it before so I would definitely comeback here for it. Hopefully they would have seasonal desserts as summer is coming.

Cozy little restaurant, decently priced food. Try the Cambodian themed Andys Burger for a fresh take on burgers. The lemongrass wings arent bad to pair with, either. Recommended for a quiet dinner. Owner is very friendly!

First time trying Combodian food. Its not a big place but very cozy. The Khmers noodle soup Kuy Tiev looks plain but so good. It is spicy. The combo is awesome if youd like to try a bit of everything. A special - their homemade spicy source is very hot . We would come back again. Hopefully they will have patio soon.

I got the pad thai for take out and was a bit disappointed. There was a lot of liquid at the bottom of the container making the pad thai a little soupy. The taste is pretty decent, a little bland, but just not sure if i d get that take out again.

Food was great, but we got THE WROST service ever. Extremely short staffed, we waited almost 45 min when half of the seats were empty. We had to ask for cutleries, plates and bowls. We had to eat on napkins. They also seemed to prioritize take out orders over dine in orders. Eventually everyone inside/outside was just waiting for their food. The water tasted weird, fruit flies were everywhere.

Fantastic mom and pop take out! They have a great selection of dishes and usually some specials. Best overall Asian take out except for maybe Na Ha.

Came for the first time today for the lobster special. WOW! It did not disappoint. The portion was very generous and we had an option to choose our spice level. The lobster was flavourful and tender. We were able to sit outside to enjoy our meal and had excellent service. Although there is a step to enter the restaurant they have a portable ramp that can be placed for anyone with accessibility needs. Will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available on the menu as the base dish is vegetarian and then you can add the meat protein of your choice.

Google suggested this spot for me while I was at work on Thursday and I decided to take a chance on them. The food was great, the environment and service was also really great. The food was the right quantity for the right price.

This place is such a hidden gem. Me and my friend ordered a fried rice w grilled chicken, and a bento plate. The flavor was authentic, and note that the chili oil was actually very spicy! We also loved the mango sticky rice. Highly recommend if you re craving authentic asian flavor in downtown guelph!

This is my second time coming here, and I tried Andys pho this time. Wow. This is definitely the best pho Ive ever had in my entire life, and Ive been to literally hundreds of pho restaurants. No MSG, no artifical flavour, just pure fresh ingredients and much love into the food. As an Asian (from South Korea), I try to check any Asian restaurants nearby. Andys food is seriously the top notch. It doesnt taste like food from restaurant, but a true home-made food. Come and try any of their menu, youll see and taste what I mean. Thank God we have this little gem in town! Update: Ive come to this place at least 20 times in the past few months, at least once or twice a week. Ive absolutely LOVED every single menu that Ive tried.

Delicious meals and friendly service - greeted by Andy himself. My family enjoyed vegetarian and non-veg dishes. All dishes tasted unique and very yummy. Ordered beef Drunken Noodles, chicken fried rice and veggie spring rolls. The drunken noodles were okay, the fried rice was pretty bad considering its price. They use dark meat and the flavor was fishy, didnt like the taste at all. Spring rolls were subpar, very greasy. The dip that came with it was good. I usually head over to Naha Thai for authentic Thai food, but they were closed. Gave this place a try, wont be coming back, there is a better place within the same price range in Guelph.

Taste with Andy is hands down one of my restaurants in Guelph. Each item we have tried is a hit. Chicken curry, fried rice (super lemongrass-y!), grilled chicken bowl, spring rolls, and every single weekly special: it s all amazing. The desserts are also amazing - not to be missed. Taste with Andy is beloved by my whole family, the kids love the chicken satay and spring rolls in particular.

Overall food tasted very fresh, portion size was decent but not the largest, and flavours were excellent! I got the drunken noodle with 1 tbsp spice which was borderline too spicy (as a spice lover). The little pickled salad that came with the satay provided some relief. Noodles could have had a more smokey flavour but I was pleased regardless. The chicken satay was SO GOOD, and the peanut sauce that came with it was also amazing. Definitely check it out! I can t wait until they have their full menu again.

Taste with Andy is definitely a hidden gem in Guelph. I have tried many items from his menu and my favourite are mango salad, drunken noodle, grilled chicken combo, mom s chicken curry, and cannot forget to mention his amazing weekly specials. You can tell that he is very passionate about cooking and that he puts his heart in everything he do. I also find his fusion style very refreshing and interesting! This was indeed a tasty lunch. Very well cooked. Huge flavour, and satisfying variety of textures. We had the beef jerky as an app, it was warm and a bit spicy... the curry (I think it was Andys mothers recipe?) was really something else. A rich broth with coconut and nice and spicy. There was a sort of bento option which allowed us to try a bunch of different things which was also packed with flavour and a legit-hot sauce. Super nice people and from-scratch stuff happening here. I appreciate that there is a Cambodian influence here as well as the Viet-Thai. Writing this as it was sad to see no-one else here!

First visit. Opened very recently. Everything is super fresh, tasty, and presented well. Small menu, but thats ok. Excellent spring rolls and sate. Pad Thai not heavy ...more veggies than noodles. The best Pad Thai I ve ever had. We also had Mom s curry, beef udon and a rice stir fry. We started with the chicken satay and spring rolls. The ingredients are so fresh. All of the dishes we had were delicious! I would highly recommend!

I so wanted to like the food I ordered tonight, especially after all the amazing reviews! Unfortunately, the pad Thai was watery, no much flavour except heat, the tofu was very soft, and the chicken very chewy. Maybe I am not used to this type of pad Thai but it wouldn t be something I order again. The owner sounds very nice but I wanted to post this to let others know what it was like.

The food was amazing, I had high expectations after looking at the photos of the food and it exceeded even those expectations! We have been to Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia (albeit a long time ago) and the flavours are so authentic that it brought back all those memories there . We had the 2 salads (mango and papaya), the chicken curry, pad thai (with tamarind!) and the drunken noodle. Will definitely be going back again soon, and cant wait when things open up again so we can eat there in-person. Wish I had photos to post but we ate it up too fast!

We tried this sometime last year and cant wait to be back in the area so we can order again. Takeout portion was good and presented nicely. I personally enjoyed the vegetarian spring rolls more than the pork. Beef skewers, pineapple fried rice and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. It also came with a pumpkin cassava cake on the house which was such a nice surprise and soo good.

Gives diarrhea in 2 hours. I m sitting in the toilet at Guelph conservative area while writing this. We drove from London and planned for a fun day at the conservation area, but after lunch at this place, plan was compromised. Food tastes bad is one thing, but giving diarrhea is another level of bad.

Authentic food of a specific country or region can vary from family to family. What it traditional or authentic to many restaurants now has become a buzzword for sales. Taste with Andy cares about cooking! Its like ditting down for your moms meatloaf, he knows love needs to be included.

Amazing little Thai fusion place in downtown Guelph. Super fresh ingredients, good prices and friendly cook/owner. Had the fresh rolls, drunken noodle, sugar cane drink and Vietnamese iced coffee. Owner came and provided me a free dessert to try that had coconut cream and squash. It was the perfect blend of tastes.

Incredible find in Guelph! This is a homestyle restaurant with south asian flair. They have a small menu, which I like(focus on what you are good at). They have weekly specials. Their online ordering system is very good for a restaurant this size. They are also quite fast at preparation. The food is tasty and uncommon(which I love). They make their own sauces and I find their food delicious.

SO good!!! Ive been here twice in 3 days. One of my new favourite places in Guelph.

Wow! What a gem. Surprised by the high level of quality. The flavours are totally authentic, no premixed sugary sauces or ketchup in the pad thai. Super fresh ingredients, veg tasted straight out of the garden.

Went cause of all the reviews. I guess its a different taste thats not too my palate, was just too overpowering taste of lemon grass on all dishes ordered... had ordered a rice noodles and a side, couldnt taste anything else. Dont know if it was an off day or thats the taste but I know its not for me.

If I could only pick one word to describe this place, itd be authentic. Food is flavourful and obviously made with fresh ingredients from scratch. I strongly recommend Moms Chicken Curry. You might be surprised at the more soup like consistency that is unlike Indian curries, but the taste is incredible. Perfectly cooked chicken and veggies pair wonderfully with rice. The special was also ordered, which was a dry ramen dish. Also delicious. We were served with distinctly polite and friendly service. The kitchen is partly visible from the outside and its obvious the place is kept clean and run well. The food might not be what you expect since perceptions of what certains dishes should look or taste like may be different considering your previous experiences. As a Vietnamese person, I assure you this is exactly how I remember things tasted. But honestly, as long as it tastes good, authenticity is kindof an afterthought isnt it?

Had the pad thai and drunken noodle - very tasty! Also tried the beef jerky appetizer and it was delicious.

My first visit to Guelph. The friend rice and beef was excellent. Very hardworking crew, and the price was extremely reasonable.

Food is absolutely amazing, so fresh made to order. They two people working who I believe are the owners, are so nice and went above and beyond. Also tons of gluten free options. Must try!!!!

This is very fresh, homemade food from the heart. The lime leaves and lemongrass in the fried rice reminded me of Thailand, and the drunken noodle is full of flavour (which is far better than the pad Thai). The chicken curry is loaded with flavour and fresh veggies but you need to prepare yourself for a soup-like consistency. Prices are steep and portions are modest. Great flavours overall and glad to have this place in Guelph.

We wanted a casual homey eat out spot- Andy s was perfect. We learned about Andy s menu and ingredients from Andy. I had the BBQ ribs- fabulous. My wife had the yellow chicken delicious with ginger dipping sauce . Satisfying without being heavy The desert creme brûlée was perfect

Drunken noodle was so tasty, size was good. Owner even offered free dessert. Recommend this restaurant. In my opinion, it is better than Na Ha.
