Previous employee- manager tries to make staff lie for him, also please don t tip on take out as manager keeps the tips instead of sharing with cook staff or wait staff.

Great breakfast and service

Very fast, very friendly, very delicious!

Ive been here twice in the last week for breakfast. Both times, the service was fast and friendly. The breakfast came out fast and was delicious. Great spot for an Omelette.

Good breakfast but 3 eggs is too much for me. Smaller portion options would be nice.

I have eaten here on more than one occasion. The food has always been fair. On this last occasion there was a spider on my plate. The waitress offered to exchange the food of course but there was no interaction from management. When paying the bill the head waitress got the server to do the payment. Not once did the lmanagement approach me. You would think this must be a regular problem and they are just hiding their heads in the sand not wanting any conflict. Maybe they need to clean their kitchen better and have some public relations in place. I was not asking for anything from them. A little politeness would have gone a little way.

I had a wonderful breakfast here today! The staff were very attentive, and paid close attention to any details we had. I often can struggle with food preparation, depending on how something is made, and the staff were excellent about accommodating my needs. If Im ever in the area, Im 100% coming back for that crispy bacon, the well done home fries, and the perfect eggs.

Ate breakfast here this morning for the first time and we will definitely be back. Loved the Canadian omelette! Very good service as well.

Not sure why it has such a high rating. It was expensive and the portion sizes are less than adequate. I ordered a chicken breakfast, it was basically a thin slice of chicken. Staff are nice, thats all can say. There was nothing UP about this place, other than prices. Customers deserve better than this, especially for a 17 dollar breakfast.

Tried their new menu item, the Meat Skillet. It had less meat in it than I expected, but otherwise it tasted good. With some improved meat content I could recommend!

Service was alright. Staff seemed to ignore certain tables, waited a long time to even get a menu. Food was relatively good with large portions, however.

Its fine, but was a strange experience. Its just a lot of little things. They wouldnt take our food order with our drink order. We had to order separately with two separate waiters. Their sides that come with the meal are a strange combination of things for a breakfast and lunch place: tomatoes, baked beans or veggies and ranch. You cant substitute any of those with the larger selection of a la carte sides like toast. They asked what type of bread we wanted and then gave us all white bread anyway. Although that bread is freshly baked. The burger had generous vegetable toppings but no condiments and a very thin paddy. They got our order for Grill cheese wrong at first, putting bacon on the side rather than on top. But, they corrected it and the grill cheese was good in the end. Its not terrible, but I wouldnt recommend it either. Maybe theyre better at breakfast than lunch. The place was very busy so although we wont return they probably dont need our business anyway. Dietary restrictions: They had extensive gluten free options which was nice to see.

I was very upset with my visit today. Uptown grill is our go to breakfast place but the last couple times we ve been the service hasn t been great. Today was the worst. Firstly we had 3 different people come up to take our drink order and they still couldn t get it right. Then after 30 minutes of waiting I asked for our waters and a coffee refill. After another 20 minutes of having no food and seeing people who came in after us get their food I finally asked why we haven t received our food yet. The server asked if we switched spots as if she didn t even remember taking our order and then perceived to tell us the order didn t go through. After an hour of us waiting we walked out and went somewhere else. Very upset!

Uptown Grill is apparently under new management but very little has changed. I love breakfast but am too lazy to do it. Uptown has solved that conundrum. It s excellent comfort food, fast and tasty. The wait staff are friendly and very cooperative and it has a family friendly atmosphere. I had the Denver Omelette with fried onions and a sausage side. All my friends were equally happy with their breakfast. It only open 7:30 - 2:00 pm and 7 days a week. Think of the place were you went with your folks after church, that s Uptown.

Excellent breakfast spot. Generally quick service. Very friendly staff. Lots of parking. Prices are what they are but I was assert theyre slightly cheaper than the near by chain establishments. I do quite regularly for Sunday breakfast Parking: Ive never parked in the front but the back seemingly always has a free spot Kid-friendliness: Theyre very accommodating. Its a family restaurant

the service was great. The girls were very active and take care of you. The coffee was weak. They kept offering it. I didnt want more because it was weak. The food was delivered quickly. The Chicken club sandwich was disappointing. There was more bread than anything else. Tomato was the only topping. The chicken breast was extremely thin. The side i selected was veggies with dip. 2 slices of carrot. 2 slices of celery. Not overly impressed sadly. The venue has potential but the food was my main let down. Advice to the owner: Try Dennys california club and emulate. Thx.

Just tried this place on a whim. Our whim was correct! A littlemore $$ than Angels Diner, but smaller footprint. Both have great food Parking: They have wheelchair spots right up front! Wheelchair accessibility: Its pretty easy access to get inside. Tables are spacious enough.

Uptown Grill is a Family Friendly stop with a basic diner atmosphere, highchairs available and accessible washroom with a changetable. The location is directly across from Guelphs beautiful Riverside park where your kids can burn off a hearty breakfast. The eggs benny is a personal favorite along with a chocolate chip pancake for some childhood nostalgia. With a regularly topped up coffee, friendly staff and quick food service Uptown Grill is a must-try and will likely be your breakfast place too! Apparently this place has changed owners over the last few months. We were in yesterday for lunch and there was no air conditioning. The food was absolutely excellent and the servers were amazing but it was so hot that we could hardly eat. We mentioned this and were told that the new owners really didnt think AC was that important. It was lunchtime and I guess we were the only ones who didnt know prior to coming because the place was deserted with only 2 other tables of miserable sweating patrons besides ourselves, so I would assume AC is in fact important. We wont be back till winter!

I ate here today for breakfast and had the worst experience ever the food took an hour to come when it wasn t even busy my water tasted awful like toilet water the food was mediocre and the service was terrible I had 3 different waiters that were all awful at their job never coming back

Not gonna lie, I use to love this place. Not sure whats goin on here lately, but I used to go with my Mother once a week or so. Somethings changed in the food, they no longer offer rye bread the bacon is seriously dry and my overeasy eggs were pretty raw.

Pretty good prices and i5 wasnt very busy. So Im told its usually busy. All in all good food service was ok.

Went for brunch. Friendly service, seated quickly, large portions at a good price point.While there were lots of entree choices, I liked that I could create my own omelet. My bf had a standard bacon and eggs breakfast, which he also enjoyed. The restaurant had a good flow of customers...but the seating arrangement was good for social distancing. Would certainly go back the next time we are in the area.

The service here is second to none. I rarely see a team of young girls work so hard and well together. The food is too notch and ownership will do their very best to accommodate any special requests. No I dont have any stake in this place lol. Nice clean place that always provides excellent service and value for your hard earned dollar. Simply put ...this place is Cheers without the alcohol... comfortable, friendly and will always want you back.

This is definitely my go-to place for a great breakfast. The eggs are always cooked as requested (unlike many other breakfast restaurants) and the meats (like bacon, sausages and ham) are always cooked to perfection. The service is always great and Ive never had a meal I didnt enjoy. My only complaint would be of the building itself. Parking in the back lot is inconvenient to enter/exit if the drive is blocked by their delivery truck. The outside of the building also gives a slight impression of not being well kept. Overall its a good place to go.

We decided to try Uptown Grill as our usual place was closed. We placed an order for takeout. Veggie omelette was delicious! Homemade bread toast is a WINNER!
