I have to say that the food used to be a lot better and fresher right now its all dry chicken they barely put any on your plate they loaded with rice and just put very thin layer of chicken its worthless for the money that they increased to I wouldnt go to this one in downtown and go to a different location

I love this osmows so much, they have always shown my friends and I love. Incase it doesn t state it on my review, it s the one near pablo s and franks. They are the friendliest people and they are so welcoming! Everyone should come here!

I recently dined at Osmow s Restaurant and had the pleasure of being served by Rizwan. From the moment we walked in, Rizwans warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. He was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations that did not disappoint.

Tried going here recently for the first time. I ordered chicken shawarma on the rocks. The flavor was a bit odd. It tasted kinda sweet which I do not like! The garlic sauce tasted like it was made with salad dressing and mayo or something like that. Probably won t go back again. If you like sweet flavored shawarma then this is the place for you!

Twice now this location has sent me a wrap that lacked garlic sauce. I think new management is getting cheap

Oh Osmow s. Truly a gem of a chain in Guelph, but it definitely has a hard time competing against the likes of Shawarma Fusion & Shawarma G. I would say as a chain, it s marginally below Lazeez, but ahead of Tahini s. This particular location is centrally located in Guelph just steps from popular Frank & Steins, Onyx, and Trappers, making it great for a dinner before hand or a post-bar snack. The service here was also excellent. I would say the shawarma itself was a 4.3. Some fat in the chicken, but the sauce and rice was absolutely on point. Parking: Lots of parking around, but it can be difficult to find a spot in front of the location

Hey there! I recently had an experience at a local Middle Eastern restaurant that I just had to share. My friends and I were really excited to try out their beef shawarma wrap and chicken shawarma on the stix, but unfortunately, the wrap was a huge disappointment. It was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Yuck! Thankfully, the chicken shawarma on the stix was much better. It was flavorful but not bad. But you know what really stood out to us? The customer service. Even though it wasnt very busy, the woman at the front was working hard to take orders. However, things took a turn when she made a mistake with our order. Instead of owning up to it, she tried to shift the blame onto us and said that we had ordered it wrong. It was pretty frustrating. Generally osmows gives good customer service, it was the worst customer service we ever received from a osmows outlets. Overall, Id say that this restaurant is a bit hit or miss. If youre in the mood for shawarma, the chicken on the stix is definitely worth a try. But if youre looking for a wrap, you might want to steer clear. And just keep in mind that the customer service can be a bit iffy at times.

I have recently visited this place. As we all know Osmows Shawarma is an awesome restaurant. But this outlet was very bad. Our order was taken by a lady, her attitude was very nerve-wracking, and the way she dealt with the customer was very bad. Firstly, she did not greet us, which we can set aside as we all have bad days, but she did not even smile at us, which is a basic thing in customer service, also she was very rude while taking the orders as we the customers did not matter to the restaurant. Also, we ordered two beef shawarma plate, one chicken shawarma plate and a beef shawarma wrap. But she gave us two beef shawarma wraps instead of one wrap and one plate. The quality of the beef on the wrap was very bad and felt like old beef and the taste of the fillings was very sour. When we told her about the mistake instead of correcting her mistake she was very angry with us and she blamed us. Mistakes can happen to anyone, she could have said sorry or she could have told us very calmly. I thought that the attitude problem was only with us but she was also rude to the next customer. I have visited a couple of Osmows Shawarma in other places like Cambridge and Kitchener and I have not faced an issue like this. The chicken shawarma was good. I should have given a 0 star rating to the customer service but there was no option.

Got take out via the Osmows website (not DD, UberE, etc). Walked a half hour to pick it up and a half hour back home. While eating almost choked on a massive chicken bone left in the chicken. I called and informed the staff, then spoke to the manager. Manager had NO idea what was going on and repeatedly asked for details I had already given and it felt like they werent sure what the procedure was. Finally they asked me for a picture but refused to tell me how I could provide one (did not give a phone number or anything) then demanded I walk back immediately to show them. I said that Im not walking back in the snow for a second time during what was supposed to be my dinner time, before I was told to come back another day to verify if there was a bone. Not walking back for them to remake a dish a day later and not even offer a discount, refund or coupon (which I never asked for in the first place.) Hung up and decided not to eat from here again. Shawarma Alley, Shawarma Fusion and other restaurants have been opening all around Guelph and any issues I have with them Ive always been polite and theyve very cordially helped resolve an issue (ie, Shawarma Alley gave me a free drink once just because I had to wait five minutes longer for an order.) Osmows, prove me wrong.

I have been to quite a few Osmow s, and this location is definitely one of the best overall. The food quality top-notch, the service extremely fast and friendly, and prices fair. My personal recommendation is the Chicken Shawarma on the Rocks. Great portion size, with generous amount of chicken meat (with very little to no fat) Parking: Accesible parking spot directly in front of location, which is great.

Osmows has gone way downhill. The chicken was dry as layered toilet paper, and the rice was not fully cooked and hard as a pet rock. Do yourself a favor and save your money. I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the quality of the food. Do not bother to reply to my review its already way too late. You have lost my business and my respect. Unfortunately, this goes for all Osmows locations. I am going to tell everyone I know not to eat at any Osmows location. This is not the first time I have received complete garbage that goes directly in garbage!

I would say one of the best falafel wrap i ever had after long time. Was travelling through Guelph and though to try this. Wow amazing food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend

Chicken on the rocks is a classic! Their rice and garlic sauce are both incredible. Their hot sauce is also super flavourful, but they need to train the employees a bit better on consistency. I always ask for the same spice level but it heavily varies on who s preparing it.

Fries were not over cooked and the chicken was fresh and juicy! Very kind staff working here.

You gotta love it when you get home and smoke very excited to enjoy some shawarma, and come to find out they missed all your addons (tzatziki, tahini, onions and hummus) that you paid for :(

Everybody knows Osmows is the best but this location has exceptional customer service.

Just picked up food from there. Absolutely not eatable. Ordered mild falafel wrap with veggies. There wasn t any veggies in there just falafels and lots of hot sauce. No veggies no garlic sauce no tahini just hot sauce and falafels woww. Was your regular customer but my last 2 ordered spoiled in similar way. Not coming back.

Exactly what you are to expect from a great restaurant, 4 stars overall due to accuracy of order when I order through skip the dish a couple times now, still our go to for shawarma.

Got our order wrong. Gave us the small size for both our wraps instead of large. The junior wrap arrived cold.

Let me start off by saying Im absolutely disgusted and pretty shocked. Im not trying to tarnish this location and I NEVER write reviews unless Its absolutely necessary. Went to this Osmows location around 1 AM, there was a homeless guy in there speaking to one of the employees, not sure what was being said but the homeless man was behind the counter. I see the employee pull out a box of bandaids and help the homeless man put a bandaid on. Very nice gesture and Im glad to see people still have compassion in 2023, but pretty sure a homeless man is not supposed to be in the same place where they prepare the food, kinda dirty. Then after HELPING THE HOMELESS MAN PUT ON A BANDAID HE PROCEEDS TO MAKE OUR FOOD WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!!! Not sure if he just didnt realize or if he didnt care, either way, im pretty sure preparing FOOD for anyone after dealing with anybody s BLOOD violates some kind of health code, who knows what kind of diseases someone could have that couldve been passed on to me or any other customers??? Anyways I went up to the employee respectfully and asked him to wash his hands before continuing to make our food he replied with No problem sir, Im sorry about that. Nice guy and I dont wish him any harm, but come on, I feel like its common sense to wash your hands after dealing with someones blood, even if your not making food. He couldve at least got someone else to help with the bandaid that wasnt preparing food. Anyways I still ate it because I spent $20 and wasnt going to let it go to waste. Food was what youd expect from Osmows, but damn, wanted to gag every bite just thinking about it. I dont mean to sound privileged or like a Karen but I felt like this review was necessary.

Used to be good. Now its not. The quality of chicken is questionable. This used to be my go to place when im craving shawarma and shawarma g is closed. (Osmows stay open till 3 am) . I had shawarma on sticks and the fries were soggy. Will update if there is any difference in quality in future

Went in to order, openning the bag when I got back home. Got 2 chicken on the rocks, one came as beyond meat. Did not give us an option to add toppings. Asked for something else twice but they never added it to our order.

Best falafel i had in osmows.

Recently visited this place and the experience was amazing. I ordered the falafel wrap and 5 pcs of falafel seperately. The food was fresh and zesty as always. I have ordered food online from this place as well, and the quality is always the same. The staff is friendly and happy to serve the customers. Kudos to the Osmows Wyndham team!
