Absolute fire, 10/10 coming back. Full and delicious.
A cross between Indian, Syrian and southeast Asian food. The portions are very generous - just $11.99 for what Lazeez or Osmow’s would consider to be a large. They are definitely trying to be too much - with lots of different items on the menu. The sauce here is very interesting - it’s creamy, not tangy like other places. There is a level of sweetness to it, and their hot sauce is not as hot as you may want. To quote my partner - “I think it’s perfect, but it’s missing the authentic shawarma spices that you may get at a place like Shawarma G.”
One of my favourite places to get shawarma in Guelph. I find myself rotating through many of the shawarma spots in town with a heavy emphasis on Shawarma Fusion as I find myself coming back often. I love their selection of toppings and whole heartedly recommend the red cabbage. They seem to be the only one in down with red cabbage and I absolutely love it!
My husband and I went in half an hour before closing, I ordered a falafel wrap and he ordered butter chicken poutine, they seemed in a rush to make the order. I have been to other shawarma stores and none of the heat the wrap wrapped in the paper, I guess there is a first time for everything, I came home to the paper stuck to the wrap, tried to remove the paper but had to throw the entire wrap. Never coming to this store ever again neither recommending it to anyone.
I had the pleasure of trying their shawarma recently, and I must say, it was quite delightful. The flavors were well-balanced, and the meat was tender and expertly seasoned. It's certainly worth a try, even if I've encountered slightly superior shawarma elsewhere. Also the wooden add an odd flavor to the meal. At first I thought there was no way to heat it up a bit but then I found out they do in fact have hot sauce. 5 stars!!
Wasn’t sure what fusion meant, but walking in you can see that that this place wants to be everything - Indian, Middle Eastern and Western - Butter Chicken, Shawarma and burgers. Whether you buy plates or wraps you only get 5 toppings or you pay $1 extra for all the rest of the toppings - a first I have noticed at Shawarma joint. Disappointing. The falafel on fries or rice were OK. The fries and rice not seasoned at all. I am guessing they rely on dousing it with garlic sauce to make it better. But as the garlic sauce has eggs we didn’t take any. The falafel freshly fried but were too dry for us. The little hot sauce we put didn’t help either
Company recieved food orders May 30th, and to my horror I hurt my tooth trying to chew what I thought was hard rice I spit it out and it was black pieces of plastic. There was several tiny and larger pieces in my rice and on my chicken that you can see in the pic. I understand accidents happen but what if I fed this into a toddler's mouth. This made me question the cleanliness of their food practises. Additionally my order was wrong. Unfortunately I will not be eating from here again.
Came at 5.45pm on a Sunday. Standard size wrap with a good meat to veggies ratio of about 40/60. The meat did come out of a hot tray, which is expected for 6pm on a Sunday. Decent choice of veggies and standard sauce offerings. Place is pretty clean on a mom-and-pop calibre. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere is sad and sterile. Food was...okay. The sauce did a lot of the work as the chicken was bland. Somehow the chicken wasn't drenched in oil even having been pulled out of the hot tray. Overall, and okay experience when you're hungry and need something to fill the void. Definitely nothing to get excited about as it can be much better.

Their chicken shawarma platter recipe is unique to other shawarma places. I have their half and half chicken shawarma and chicken shawarma poutine regularly. Very yummy and tasty. They dont hide their taste behind a very hot sauce like other places so. I prefer this place over other shawarma places in Guelph. Dietary restrictions: Halal

Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience I am compelled to share my recent experience at Shawarma Fusion, which has left me deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. On July 10, 2024, my friend and I ordered two Butter Chicken Shawarma Plates from Shawarma Fusion located at 130 Silvercreek Pkwy N, Guelph, ON N1H 7Y5. However, upon reaching home and taking just one bite, we realized that we had been given regular Chicken Shawarma Plates instead. Immediately recognizing the mistake, I made a 30-minute round trip back to Shawarma Fusion to inform them of the error. What followed was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing series of interactions: 1. Incorrect Order Received: Despite clearly ordering Butter Chicken Shawarma Plates, we were given regular Chicken Shawarma Plates. 2. Communication Breakdown: Upon returning to the restaurant, I explained the situation to the staff at the counter. Initially, they insisted that the order was correct. It took extensive effort to explain that we had indeed ordered Butter Chicken Shawarma Plates. 3. Protracted Discussion: The process of convincing the staff of the mistake dragged on for approximately 15 minutes. I had to repeat the situation multiple times first to the person at the counter, then to the individual who took our order, and finally to what appeared to be the owner. 4. Unfair Assumptions: Throughout this ordeal, it felt like we were being viewed suspiciously, as if we were trying to get a free meal. This was certainly not the case. We returned the entire order, worth approximately $35, after consuming only one bite. We did not accept a replacement order, a fact that could be confirmed by reviewing the restaurants security cameras. 5. Lack of Accountability: The most disappointing aspect was the reluctance of Shawarma Fusions staff to acknowledge their mistake. It is frustrating to lose hard-earned money due to an error in the order, compounded by poor customer service and a refusal to accept responsibility. 6. Impact on Recommendation: As someone who used to frequent Shawarma Fusion twice a week and highly recommended their Butter Chicken Shawarma Plate to friends, I am deeply disappointed. This incident has led me to stop recommending Shawarma Fusion altogether. In conclusion, my experience at Shawarma Fusion on July 10, 2024, was incredibly unsatisfactory. I regret to say that I will not be returning to this establishment and cannot recommend it to others.

This is not a place you go to for the atmosphere, its a place you go to for the excellent food! The chicken shawarma wrap is stuffed full to bursting with chicken and toppings of your choice. The shawarma plate containers were also piled high. Add a can of pop and you have a great meal at a great price. It looked like a lot of locals who were coming in for takeout. The store is clean, the guys are quick and friendly, and the parking is right outside the door. Dietary restrictions: Halal Kid-friendliness: I wouldnt hesitate to take my kids here Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, single door with no step up. Washroom on the main floor. Easily maneuverable

Ive been staying in Guelph for 2 weeks. My wife and I have eaten here 3 times. I keep ordering the Butter Chicken Shawarma, and it is the best food Ive had since Ive been here .weve eaten out a lot and even at some higher end restaurants. Nothing beats the flavour of what I keep getting there. Also, the portions are large enough that you could split the meal into two servings if you really wanted. I might be back a 4th time before we go back home.

Favorite shawarma joint
Went there and they gave me old wrap which is already made and service was very poor. I also ordered shawarma plate and I noticed that they were giving free drinks with the plate to white people but not to black people or Indians too. Such a shame

Really rude service was going to put hot sauce all over my food before I asked them not to then he snapped at me. the garlic sauce has mint in it which ruined the taste, and 4$ for a bottle of pop seriously. Dont waste your money here its not worth it!

This is a picture of the abomination so called the shawarma poutine. Dont try to ignore it. In fact, take it in. Look at it for 20 seconds before continuing reading this review. Good. The poutine was absolutely drowned in sauce, the hot sauce looked like spicy mayo which typically isnt that spicy but it tasted just like regular hot-sauce (what devils ingredients do you have to put into it to achieve this), the fries were far from crispy even without the shower of sauces that was placed on my meal. the meat was overly fatty. It seems like they tried to drown every part of this with the sauces but it didnt work it just made it worse (PS: I got the light gravy option so if someone orders this with normal or god forbid heavy gravy I shudder to think what that soul would have witnessed

This is the best shawarma in town, very healthy and real foods, Ive been eating from here for years and never once had a bad meal, I would recommend the shawarma plate with your choice of toppings, you can ask for the sauce on the side (get a hot sauce also) this way it is easier to reheat some for later and you can add sauce as you like to get the right amounts, 10/10 love it.

Was a very good chicken on the rocks. Like half the price of osmows and not obnoxiously downtown. Great value and food. Edit, I came back today after over a year. Food is still good but if I had to comment, please dont pre shred lettuce. I get it for wraps, but I got a salad and I think most people would prefer leaves to eat with a fork and for texture.

Took the new guy at work here for lunch and he absolutely loved it. I suggested this place because the last time I went there, the food was great. This time, same thing, great food. $30 for two lunches and 2 drinks when we went there.

Forgot to grab a picture, but I got the butter chicken shawarma meal and it was delicious. The sauce was flavourful and the chicken was nicely cooked. All the veggies in the salad also tasted fresh. The portion is great for the money (I ended up getting a meal and a half out of it). I would definitely come back when craving shawarma.

Food is amazing, it s the fastest place to get in and out of for food around lunch, so many people come through during the rush and there s no hold up I d argue this place is just as fast as going to any drive thru. The guys working there are very nice and efficient.
Today, I had a terrible experience with an employee named Honey. I ordered a chicken shawarma plate, and while he was serving the chicken onto the plate, some of it fell onto the table. Despite this, he continued to serve the same chicken on the plate. When i pointed out the issue, he argued that the surface was clean, so there was no problem and it was okay to eat. Due to this poor service and unsanitary food handling, I cannot recommend anyone to dine here.

Ordered the chicken shawarma on fries. The chicken itself was just ok but the fries were white and doughy, and the garlic sauce seemed like it was made with sweetened condensed milk. I love shawarma and have checked out several places and this is definitely the worst I ve had. CT Shawarma is by far much better. Service was good though.
I was in town and asked around where to get shawarma. This was recommended by three different people and did not disappoint. Overall it was good flavour, fresh ingredients. The biggest thing to stand out was the SIZE. The chicken shawarma wrap was the size of XL burrito. I also liked that was sauced the right amount and not soaked. The wrap held together well. The h sauces were good. The hot sauce wasn t super spicy but it was good. Great spot if your hungry and in the mood. Enjoy! (I was hungry, picture will have to wait until next time)
I really like this place they make good gyros, the reason Im giving it two stars its because the other night I went in and asked for a gyro and I only get two vegetable toppings with it and that is onion and lettuce. Well the other night there was a lettuce shortage so I asked for the gyro and then I asked for lettuce and onion and he told me they dont have any lettuce so I said okay well no thank you then because just onion makes it taste a little strong. Gentleman said you know what we can give you a little bit of lettuce and proceeded to go underneath and what look like grab. I said thank you, paid for it and went home to eat it when I bit into it I realized he literally sprinkled just enough lettuce on the top to make it look like he was putting lettuce in it and then the rest of it was just onion...like a lot of onion. Unfortunately I just made it so I couldnt eat it. I was really disappointed because I was okay with not having any lettuce and would have came back another day, but what I feel like is there eagerness to make a $10 sale they may have put me off from ever going back there.

My wife goes in to order me a shawarma plate.. we live 30 full minutes away so I ask her to tell them salad on the side, because who wants to eat a disgusting hot soggy salad in a hot box sweating for 30 minutes? Lo and behold, my food arrives, and she says not only did they reject the request, they declared it is not permitted! You know you could just say you need extra for a side container instead of being deliberately obtuse No dressing on the salad. Chopped vegetables in a box is not a salad.

Amazing Shawarma platter. Lots of tasty garlic sauce! This platter could pretty much feed 2 and was 13.50$!!!! Very quick service and the worker even gave me a free pop! The chicken was moist and seasoned well. I recommend for a university student looking for dinner and maybe even leftovers for the next day.
