My family had the lasagna tonight and it was delicious

Eggplant parmesan is to die for!

*EDIT 3 years later, surprised this place is still open. however when you order spaghetti with meatsauce they are still cheating you and putting tomato sauce on the pasta and then putting a very small drizzle of meat sauce on top. the meat sauce should be throughout the pasta dish. sauce is still bland pureed tomatos. you need to add some seasoning to it!!! Large potions but sauce is bland and there is barely any meat in the meat sauce

If you are craving for some authentic Italian cuisine Mia mama won t disappoint!loved this restaurant!huge serving only thing is I hope they open on the weekend.

I walked in to what I thought would be an industrial food pick up counter but was greeted by a smiling couple ready to take my order in a pleasantly decorated, home style bistro with freshly baked goods in glass displays, a vast selection of cold beverages and the smell of pastas, and sauces and bakery bread. I order the chicken parm but DID NOT get what I thought I ordered. Instead I received a fresh baked Italian sub roll PACKED with mounds of juicy chicken, sauted onions, green peppers, mushrooms and a savoury homemade sauce. She even gifted me a sample meatball the size of a squash ball that was so decident it could end wars! I was told it would be messy but honestly, I didnt spill a drop because I inhaled this thing. Ive never had a sandwich this incredible! This is a MUST TRY destination location for the foodie in all of us! Many thanks to the owners for helping me finish off my week perfectly! This is my new go-to! I cant wait to return for $5 pasta Mondays!

Great authentic homemade food

Their veal/meatball sandwiches and pizza are top tier Italian authentic food. Fast service, beautiful looking new establishment and looking forward trying all their meals along the road. 1 min away from my work yard!!!

Highly recommend Mia Mamma for catering (We were feeding about 15). Pina was great to work with and went above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious (dont miss the eggplant parm!) and also very good value. Everyone was raving about the meal. Will definitely use Mia Mamma for future events !

Our Zone2 U19AA ringette team from alberta came to guelph for a tournament. We ordered 2 meals catered in to our hotel . The food was delicious and huge portions . Anyone team looking for healthy options should order from here .

Happy to be one of the first reviews at their new location on Imperial Road. I had the meatball sandwich, others had the chicken, and veal. All were excellent. Prices were good, sandwiches were the perfect size for lunch. Wishing you all the best in your new spot, and will definitely be back.

Ordered a chicken parm sandwich, got a dry 6 inch sub bun with two small grilled chicken coutlets not breaded, a little bit of marinara sauce some cold mixed shredded cheese, next to no flavor and a big stretch to call it parm, also ordered a date square, it was the size of half a credit card ,hard as a rock and had the date pits in it the almost broke a tooth, I would not recommend this restaurant

Good authentic fresh Italian. After talking with the business owner it wasnt hard to tell shes genuine and pours her heart and soul into her food. Ill be back.

Got a veal sandwich here. Was so good. Quick service, tasty food and prices are reasonable. Other coworkers have been exploring the menu and loving every bit of it.

Had a Christmas gathering catered by Mia Mamma and the food was absolutely amazing. They accommodated us on fairly short notice. Highly recommend and so reasonably priced!

Just ordered in for Nanas birthday. Best decision ever. The lasagne, the meatballs and freshest veal sandwiches ever!!! The portions were way more than enough as well. Can t wait to order again. Kid-friendliness: Our picky eater loved the pasta !!!

We ordered food for New Years from Mia Momma, sausage, chicken, veal, potatoes, pasta and salad everything was delicious! Huge portions, great value for the price! Would definitely recommend

I ordered a full meal - penne, veal & chicken parmigiana, sausage, roast potatoes, peas & mushrooms and a garden salad, and was completely satisfied as was everyone who enjoyed this delicious meal! The portions were generous and we had leftovers for the next day. I would definitely recommend Mia Mamma to anyone who asks where to get great Italian food! Thank you again!

Went there for the first time and tried their veal sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, the meat was super tender. I will be coming back to try the rest of the items on their menu.

Really delicious chicken parm sandwiches, generous portion and good price. Not at all a complaint on the food but a heads up for non beef eaters. The red sauce on the sandwiches has ground beef in it.

Their fresh homemade meatball sandwich is amazing! The service is also super friendly, and their prices are so reasonable that its even cheaper than a trip to McDonalds. Im looking forward to trying the other sandwiches on their menu :-)

I have been eating here regularly since the day it opened, not only are the dishes really flavourful & bountiful in portion but also less expensive than anywhere else in the city that serves worthwhile food, overall a delicious & affordable experience that s been consistently satisfying!

Had a great meal tonight and just wanted to thank Mia Mamma for going the extra mile and also delivering our order on her way home. Best spaghetti diner in town. We have eaten here before and will continue to eat from here. Thanks again for making us feel special. PS really like the giant meatballs

We highly recommend trying out Mia Mama. We have been going there for about a month now and have never been disappointed w their food. We placed a larger order for my daughters birthday this past weekend and were so pleased with the entire experience. The food and service were amazing and portions were very generous. Toppings where good and sauce tasty, but it would seem they freeze the buns and microwave to thaw them. Our buns where all hard and inedible on the ends.

The best italian food we had in Canada ! If you want to feel Italy, we truly recommend you to go to Mia Mamma. Nice spot for a takeout lunch, I love the meatball sandwich.

Excellent food and service. The person at the counter was so friendly and I could feel that she took pride in the food. I ordered the chicken sandwich with three toppings which were heaped on generously: sautéed onions, mushrooms as well as yellow and red peppers. It really tasted homemade. Another post rates the food as bland. Personally, I liked that it wasn t salty, nor was it greasy. My suggestion is to tell the server that you prefer more aggressive seasoning. Prices are reasonable. Wishing this restaurant much success.

A true modern Italian eatery. Best Veal sandwich this side of Woodbridge and they arent cheap with the meat and the toppings are affordable and bundled so you can enjoy all the goodies like onions and peppers without having to choose. Everything here is always done with a true artisanal spirit. Some things that surprised me the most was the fact that the pasta dishes were cooked to order meaning that if you ordered the penne it wasnt sitting in a tray covered in sauce or mixed together then crammed into a foil dish. Something very nice to see as this is hard to come by at hot tables in the GTA. All in all a very pleasant experience and I know for sure Ill be eating here often.

Mia Mammas, is an affordable, delicious and wholesome option. With a wide choice of some of the finest Italian food you will find anywhere. From the overstuffed chicken, veal, sausage or meatball sandwich to the homemade lasagna and eggplant parmigiana and everything in between. All the food was simply delicious, the woman behind the counter was very friendly, professional and quick, and the portions are generous to be modest. Speaking of modest, the prices are some of the most reasonable (All prices include tax! What you see is what you pay.) and make it easy to leave a bit in the tip jar. Buon appetito!

The best Italian food in the city without question. Lasagna is amazing. All homemade. They also have Pasta of the Day but you can ask it to be made in a different way if you wish. You can also call ahead and request food for dinner or catering. We eat once a week from Mia Momma. Homemade Italian at its best.

Best Italian Restaurant EVER! Mia Mamma has the most flavorful food, cooked fresh and always with an added touch of love! Owner is friendly and gracious to everyone who walks in the door. Visit Mia mamma on an empty stomach cuz youll want to try everything on the menu! Tho the meatball sandwich is is my favorite. If you dont know where its located, just follow your nose, you can smell the delicious aromas from the side walk!
