ABOUT US NAHA THAI KITCHEN The taste of Thai food comes mainly from wide range of flavor ingredients. The blending of spices & herbs, fresh vegetables, variety of meats, coconut milk, fish sauce, soy sauce, palm sugar, and curry paste which vary from region to region contributes to the harmonious tastes unique for each dish. As Australian chef David Thomson, a prolific chef and expert on Thai food said “Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic component and spicy edge. It is known for its complex interplay of at least three and up to four or five fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, bitter and spicy” NA-HA-THAI’S KITCHEN is the only take out Thai restaurant in G
This place is the real deal with the authentic Thai! I ordered the salted crab papaya salad in medium. It came with a bowl of fresh vegetables to complement it. The flavours were delicious, and I picked a good spice level that gave me enough heat to handle, but still made me take in a few breaths. I also got the laarb. That was also in medium heat and it came with jasmine rice (or sticky). You know it’s the real deal when it’s got very pungent flavours, so aromatic, and actual spice!! Love it. It’s definitely on the pricier end, but it’s worth it if you want to support local, and get authentic Thai food in the area. I wish there was better parking, with clear signs and more room to park..as I came during the construction which is understandable. Overall, great Thai food place! Hits all the cravings.
This is the best Thai restaurant! The food has been consistent for years and so fresh! I am Muslim, so I have not been able to try any meat dishes as it needs to be halal. But the shrimp and veggie options are amazing - bursting with fresh veggies. I highly recommend the green curry, pineapple fried rice and the mango and papaya salads. The crispy spring rolls with homemade dipping sauce are a must!!!
I was here for the first time last week after hearing good things. I ordered 3 different dishes and 3 different rolls, and EVERYTHING was delicious. Thai food is different than what I'm used to but the flavors are amazing! I will certainly be coming back! Thanks to the owners and employees for a night of good eating.
I had the Green Curry Chicken lunch special. Wonderful For a treat I had the Thai Iced Milk Tea / Super. Great value lovely people. Hopping takeout biz that I will soon order from
Their focus is take out, but there are a few spaces to sit if you choose to dine in. If you choose to stay there, your food will still be served in take out containers. We ordered the spring rolls, a curry, and a noodle dish. There is a board indicating the level of spice, believe it! They serve true authentic Thai spice. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The owner is well versed on the ingredients and was able to inform us of what was vegetarian and vegan on the menu. Will definitely order again 😊.
Food is very flavourful and there is a large variety. The deep-fried beef basil rolls are delicious. Food is in takeout containers and limited seating area.. if you’re looking for a quick eat then this is the place for you.
Are you looking for solid Thai food for a night at home? This may be the spot to go for. Guelph is lacking with Thai food options. Eat Thai? Thai Express? Both are great, but the authenticity here is second to none. That being said, we thought the food was relatively… mid. The flavour was there, and the fried rice was the best we had ever had, but the pad Thai was just alright. Parking is tough if you are picking up. It’s basically a house converted into a restaurant. The only other thing we would say was the price was a bit higher than we were expecting. We got fried rice, 2 pad thais, and a spring roll, and it was a full $78, which was more than we were expecting. Overall, we thought it deserved a very strong 3.75, but we rounded up to 4 for the review.
Amazing food and service! I placed a big catering order for a school event and it surprised me that the owner came to deliver my food order to make sure everything went well. I love their pineapple fried rice and pad Thai the most. Authentic taste! The amount was generous for the price of party trays.
Always delicious, never disappoints! If I had to choose a last meal.... This would be it!
Very good Thai food
Strongly recommend this place. We keep going back for the red curry with chicken, the best we have ever had !!
Best food in Guelph.
Na-Ha-Thai s is quite possibly the best restaurant in Guelph. It s a top-tier takeout spot. They ve been incredibly consistent over the years and I ll always sing their praises. I ll often get either the Musaman Curry or Khao Soi, both of which are super flavourful, but everything I ve had from here has been great and they clearly use high-quality ingredients.
Best Thai Food in Canada Yet!!! Prices are good for the fact that portions are good and everything is very fresh and authentic! Friendly staff and they were nice to our little kids. We will be back for sure!
Best thai I ever had. Their house Pad thai is top notch
Excellent food love the dishes here so flavourful and fresh. Always a treat going here. Menu seems very authentic as do the cooks. Feels like I am back in Thailand .
GO HERE ! Go get food right now. Amazing service ! Spectacular food ! Large portions. My picky white mother couldnt have been happier eating here. The food was so good we ordered food to go ! There is currently construction near the restaurant but super worth the detour. Parking: Free parking across the street
One of the rare gem I found. Delicious food and friendly staff. The only very small downside it is quite small area. But if you can avoid rush hours, extremely recommended.
Amazing yellow curry. I ll definitely recommend for takeout.
Favourite Thai food in Guelph!
Best Thai food in Guelph, hands down. Ive been there 3 times so far and each dish was perfect, authentic taste. They clearly care a lot about what they are doing. Parking: Free parking across the street
Best Thai food in Guelph. I may even go so far to say that its as good as (or even better) than the big names in Toronto too. Pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, and pork belly hunglay are outstanding. And the mango sticky rice is a dream!
so glad we dont have to wait an hour now by ordering on line in advance!
The most delicious Thai Ive ever had (no exaggeration). The employees were also super kind and lovely. Cant wait to visit again.
Green curry was perfect. Cant wait to try khao soi.
The best Thai in Guelph and area! So traditional, not over sauced, high quality ingredients and tons of gluten free options! I love this place! I just wish they had delivery! Vegetarian options: Many veggie options! Dietary restrictions: Many labelled and safe gluten free options other menu.
Absolutely incredible and truly authentic food. Im so disappointed I didnt try this place years ago. I ordered the holy basil chicken (my favorite thing to eat when I spent time in Thailand) because I had a heck of a craving, and on the first bite, I was immediately brought back to the amazing time I spent there. And the portions are generous! Such a satisfying meal, I laid down and took a nap right after. Best food coma ever.
Best Thai you can find!
Great food. Plan ahead for a long wait (1 hour for pickup) on busy days.
Nice local and authentic thai restaurant. Thai milk tea is good. The flavour of the food is savoury. We got pad thai, pineapple fried rics, and one of the street food. Definitely worth trying!
Amazingly authentic Thai food. I ve been to Thailand and this is as good as being back
Okay, I dont even know where to begin. I have been going here for a few years for takeout. I have tried a lot of Thai food in a lot of cities and this is one of the best. I am happy that they have changed their takeout containers and the portions have increased and are phenomenal. The food is always fresh and piping hot. They do not skimp on the vegetables or the meat and I am thoroughly impressed every time I drive from Oakville to Guelph to get this food. Please dont change a thing and keep up the great work. I have tried pretty much every noodle dish and I cant pick a favourite. Also huge fan of the cashew nut chicken and without a doubt, the best mango salad I have ever ever tasted.... Super fresh mangoes are crisp. The touch of mint with the cilantro takes it to the next level. Unbelievable!
I order from here quite often and this week I tried one of the specials - Crispy Rice and Fermented Pork Salad. Simply delicious! It was the perfect combination of refreshing and comforting. Na Ha s food is always wonderful, but something about this dish was truly special.
Very tasty food, a bit on the pricier side. Theres also very limited seating so we had to takeout in the end. Would go back to try other things. The Thai milk tea was bomb and the low carb pad thai was pretty good! Like between a papaya salad and a pad thai. The beef was really dry and chewy though
What a hidden gem. Very authentic and delicious Thai food here, the pad Thai is legit and Thai milk tea fantastic. You know when the place is tiny, packed and staffed by 1 or 2 people its going to be great. Lived up to expectations, highly recommend!
Amazing Thai food! We were looking for a go-to Thai spot after missing those in Toronto and I think we found it! Their Khao Soi is hearty, creamy and delicious. I highly recommend trying their House Khao Soi! And their Pad Thai is authentic and scrumptious! You wont find those horrible tomato/ketchup based sauces in the Pad Thai here. Were definitely giving them more business in the future!
consistently the best - takeout only as dining experience is not the best - but beats all other thai in Guelph including the new Makin thai which was a disappointment and then dont pick up phone - naha is very good
Best Thai food around, best price, and best service! I love this place
Best Thai around!
Probably the best Thai food in the country. We have sampled many menu items and have yet to be disappointed!
If your spice tolerance is good, order medium levels of spice. If you are 0 on spice, mild may also taste a tad bit more for you. Amazing lady at the front who helped pick my order and had a very good conversation with her. Fam loved food but if there is one thing this place needs, it s a good makeover. Will make it a perfect 100 for the amazing food and hospitality they offer. Vegetarian options: The vegan papaya salad, vegan panang curry, vegan pad Thai and black sticky rice with coconut + peanut gravy are all to die for
Amazing food and portions. The seating is limited so make sure you come early. It s worth it. Delicious! Thanks.
A must-visit Thai place. Mostly takeout, there are only two 4-seat-tables. All the curry options are amazing and you can choose your own spice level, strongly recommend! Support this small family business that delivers quality food!
Amazing! Today I got a fresh roll with Basil sauce and a vegan pad Thai. Both ate beyond delicious!
The food had so much flavour!! Price to portion size was very reasonable (ie leftovers!!!). Order was ready on time - honestly just a great takeout experience on all levels!
good, but very expensive
Tried this spot out for the first time, asked for SPICY chicken pad Thai and veg spring rolls. There s no spice whatsoever and the noodles are burnt really disappointing.
These are THE freshest fresh roles I have ever seen or tasted! Thank you so much Na Ha Thai s Kitchen!
Amazing food, every single time! I ve gotten food from Na Ha at least 12 times and it is consistently awesome and doesn t disappoint. Staff is also kind :) my next venture at Na Ha will be a catering order and it seems like from other reviews, it won t disappoint!
I had high hopes from all the glowing reviews. I was disappointed. Everyone has different tastes and perhaps this style of Thai food appeals to many but to me it is very similar to the style of Americanized Chinese food that makes so many people happy. There is no complexity of flavor or sense of freshness in what I had except the fresh rolls that were, well, fresh. I have eaten Thai food in many places in the world and I have to say that this was definitely far from the best.
Some of the best Thai food I ve had outside of Thailand!
We just discovered Na Ha recently as they were highly praised on a social forum! Phenomenal food, and so reasonable price. If you are looking for authentic food and somewhere where the owner personally thanks you for your purchase you need to visit, this is no chain where there is no personal touch, Na Ha s really appreciates everyone who comes in!
Wow the Best food I was so impressed a little expensive but it s worth it It was better then the big chain more flavour and friendly staff. This is what I m looking for in Restaurant food, l will for sure return the that food. Parking: Hay it somewhere to park
Have you eaten rice today? Probably not. So call them, order anything as its all really good and youll be happy. Simple.
Delicious it every time!
Absolutely top tier Thai food
The food is pricey for what it is, but you are paying for consistently good food. Order ahead and be prepared to wait if its a busy night, otherwise this is a solid choice if you dont mind paying $21 for a portion of rice and chicken.
Saw the article about the new Thai restaurant so went and had lunch. Had chicken satay and chicken drunken noodle. Lunch came with a spring roll as well. It was all very good. Service was great. Very pleasant. Will definitely go back and try other dishes. The only reaso. I gave 4 starts for food was because i have only had the one meal.
Its a house with a couple of tables doing takeout mostly. But the food was really great! Had the Basil Beef...
Favourite Thai food in Guelph by far! Very authentic flavours and good quality ingredients. I love the panang curry and green curry. Top: I like spicy food but I will always get mild regardless of the item. Order a level lower than you normally do, especially the first time! Parking: Dont bother trying to park in the back lot or on Audrey Avenue (VERY limited), just park directly across the street in the parking lot off York Rd. Kid-friendliness: My kids love the fried spring rolls! Fresh spring roll sauce is spicy so you might want to avoid. Food is on the spicy side for kids Id say, even with ordering mild, its often too spicy for my kids (who can tolerate some spice!)
As far as Im concerned, this is the best Thai place to eat at. They are extremely busy for good reason, so order more than ahead of time or just walk in to see if there is an open table.
The only reason I gave 3 stars for the service is by no way a reflection of the friendly staff and hands down best Thai food you will find in the area. They are so incredibly popular (for good reason) and I feel they may have outgrown their restaurant and it can lead to delays in the pick up times. That being said, it hasnt stopped my family from frequently visiting for years now and we recommend it to everyone.
One of our favorite places in guelph to eat. Food never disappoints! The Thai street food options are just delicious. The avocado shrimp spring rolls are simply amazing
Have purchased take out multiple times and it never disappoints . Had Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup , a beef curry all were delicious . The food had lots of flavour and decent quantity .
Na Ha s is definitely a hidden gem! Authentic take out spot full of great flavours. You can really tell that there is a lot of heart and soul in their entire menu. Love how you can pick the slide levels. Pad see ew was great, one of the best I ve had. Good green curry with an awesome selection of vegetables within it loved the eggplant! Don t look past this spot, definitely will be coming back!
The food is little spicy but I like them!
Literally the best Thai place soooooo good
Really good authentic Thai food. I d recommend the yellow curry and the drunken noodles!
This is the best Thai food around. We drive from Burlington to Guelph just for the food here. Try it and see why it s so loved! They also have gluten friendly options for many of the dishes, although the facility does offer items that aren t gluten free so be aware of the potential for cross contamination! You can also choose your spice level which is a nice touch too. It s a small place so be prepared you may have to do takeout instead of dine in.
Always amazing! Local gem.
Amazing high quality thai food with great vegan options! Our favourite items are the panang curry, vegan fried rice & spring rolls... mmmm :)
I find the food to be good but too sweet to my liking..Ive been to Thailand but there food is not sweet therefore I dont find this place authentic as they claim. Price wise its very expensive . I bought lunch for 2 s$00. I like the service with the smile and food to be fresh thats why I gave a high rating . If they stopped making their food sweet..I would have given them a perfect 5. I will definitely try it again.
A hidden gem. Excellent, authentic Thai cuisine. Friendly service.
The best Thai food on the west side. Everything on their menu is absolutely delicious. Only thing is its really not a sit down vibe but we love to takeout. They have been getting a bit more busier than usual now so if you pre-order online you might have to wait an extra 10-15 min when you get there. But ALWAYS ALWAYS worth the wait. Na Ha Thai has never disappointed. Quality is consistent
Always an amazing experience. The food is delicious and flavourful every time. Truly a Guelph staple. Vegetarian options: Both vegan and vegetarian options available
Fantastic food!!! Don t expect fancy seating or anything more then eating in take out boxes, but that also adds to the charm of this place. Real taste of authentic Thai food.
This is by far the best restaurant in Guelph.
I visited for lunch. I was impressed by how clean and tidy the space was. The owner was so friendly and made me feel welcome. I ordered a chicken pad Thai and a spring roll. The price was fair. The flavour is phenomenal, ingredients are fresh, and the preparation is professional. I asked for it to be spicy and I wasnt disappointed. The spring roll was fresh, crispy, and tasted great. This is my new favourite Thai food restaurant. I will be back whenever I am in the area. You wont be disappointed with the food and service here.
Edit: Many years after writing this review we have moved about 40 minutes away. We still make the trip to Guelph for good Thai. ***************************************************************** Best. Thai. Food. Hands down. Best. But dont tell anyone. Wait times are already long some nights! And definitely heed their heat warnings. I know it sounds silly, but this is the real heat right here. Do not order Hot dishes, unless you are ready to melt from the inside out.
Best Thai place in town
It was our first time to try this food and it s literally delicious, we tried the veg Thai pad and the quantity was really enough for two persons and the staff were nice too. I will definitely recommended this place to go. I would love to come again. Vegetarian options: Veg Thai
Na ha never disappoints. Super fresh and tasty!
Excellent Thai food! The closest to the real thing! What a great meal.
Smells like dirty socks when opening staff does not care about customers
Always amazing food! Good quantity too!
Hands down, the best authentic thai food in Guelph! If you are looking for street food and on the spicy side go for it. Fresh, flavorful and real. If you dont know what Im talking about dont go. If you know Thai food dont miss out. Eat in and take out. Excellent!
The best Thai food I have experienced. It is always a treat to order take out from Na Ha Thais Kitchen. The ingredients, and resultant dishes, are so fresh and flavourful. With food prices everywhere increasing over the years, Na Ha Thais Kitchen is absolutely always worth it. Highly recommended! Be sure to order in advance.
The Best Thai food spot in Guelph!!!
Best Thai food Ive had outside of Toronto (and as good as the best in Toronto). There are no Thai restaurants as good as this place in the KW region, so I drove over from Cambridge. I got a Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, Cashew Chicken, and Mango Sticky Rice. Highly recommend stopping here, some of the best food in the area, period!
Amazing delicious food.
This is the best Thai food I have ever had. Delicious vegan options. The ingredients are so fresh and flavourful. We got everything spiced mild-medium, and it was still quite hot. We ordered fresh rolls, spring rolls, mango salad, pa nang curry, yellow curry, fresh basil stir fry... all of it 10/10.
Food was delicious! Authentic Thai. The whole meal was served on disposable dishes and utensils. Very smart.
I want to personally thank na ha thai for being the only restaurant in guelph to offer a low carb option for some items. I have diabetes and it means a lot to me to see this option not only available but totally delicious. Amazing food all around. texture, taste, everything. A little pricey but portions are a reasonable size and I always end up having left overs for days.10/10 would recomend to anyone.
This place is by far the most excellent for Thai food. I will take orders the day before (I work in Kitchener) and bring it in for coworkers lunch because no where compares.
Great food
Was in area as we were visting for a swim meet this wekeend in Guelph. Wow love their spring rolls as they have unique options Ive yet to see in Toronto Thai restaurants. Had a chicken curry springroll and a basil beef one. Super generous amount of beef in the holy basil. Nice rice used and lemongrass soup was lovely. Would definitely go back when in the area
Great prices and authentic to the meals you would get in Thailand. This is my favourite restaurant in Guelph.
Absolutely the best Thai food I have ever had, fresh and flavorful. Great place with authentic food.
Had a very unpleasant experience where the bill did not match menu prices at this restaurant. I was given the take out menu upon arrival with no mention the prices have changed since it was printed. The 3 items I got were shown at $15 each, but upon paying, I was charged $18.50 per item, a nasty 23% increase that I only realized after paying and tipping. When asked about the price discrepancy, the server was unapologetic and simply said I can see the new menu prices online, you would think a price change by this magnitude would be worth mentioning up front.
Delicious food and huge portions!!
The best Thai food I have had in the gta, especially the pad thai and mango salad! Everyone I have spoken to loves Na Hai s!
Love the food and the cozy atmosphere, but I didnt like that all the dishware and cuttlery were disposable... They gave the food paperish taste.
I ordered pad Thai with papaya noodles. I thought it was something new and healthy. Unluckily It tasted like a rubber and wouldnt recommend it. The other dishes, curry chicken spring roll, Bangkok style papaya salad and Holy basil (meanced pork with rice) were ok. We saw nice rating about this place but really nothing special. We ordered takeout but got surprised about the bill. It was total $70 for the order. She did mention that the price went up and not published on the menu. Hopefully they will update soon.
The green papaya salad is FANTASTIC!
good chicken pad thai here! probably most authentic pad thai in guelph. however it s not the best i ve had and it s lacking in flavour a little bit. But nonetheless I definitely recommend coming here. Also the pad grow pra was super good!
Food is AMAZING. We have been eating here almost monthly for the past 6 years. This is a family run restaurant. They go on a vacation every year for a month. (1) Best Thai food Ive had in Ontario. I love THAI food, nothing beats Na Ha Thai! (2) They are on the pricier side; however its due to the fresh ingredients and the authenticity of the food. They do NOT skimp on seasoning or spices! (PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR 2023 THEY HAVE ALREADY DONE 1 PRICE INCREASE; WITH ANOTHER PLANNED FOR LATER IN THE YEAR). (3) As INFLATION and shipping shortages occur, as long as Na Ha Thai stays delicious and consistent we will try our best to continue to support them! A $ doesnt go as long for ANYONE nowadays. (4) Atmosphere, store is on the smaller size, I have only eaten inside once. It was okay, I prefer to order take out. (5) FAV DISHES: Red Curry, Salted Crab Salad, and Tom Yum Soup!
Very small place but full of love, great service and delicious food, has options for vegan and gluten free
Yummy! A Guelph gem.
Absolutely delicious! Best authentic Thai food I ve ever tasted, outside of having dinner in a Thai home. Hospitality and cleanliness top rated. This is my favourite spot to go to in Guelph. The above text was posted a while back. Consistency is key, especially when it comes to food. Coming from a chef s daughter, Na Ha has always been consistent with the dishes it serves. I have been there several times since, and every time is like the first. All time favourite, number 1 on my list.
Best rice in Guelph. I love this place. Dietary restrictions: No egg in rice. Food : 5/5 |
Amazing food (5 star!) but a 2 star in-store dining experience... I know they are primarily a take out restaurant, but they have tables and they should not be giving sit-in customers plastic plates and cutlery and serving them in takeout containers. They used to have a dine in experience and Id come every year for my birthday, I cant do that now. Also their menu hasnt been up to date in many months so you can only find out the price by asking when you order.
Na Ha Thais Kitchen is a very cute sotre with amazing food. I absolutely love the variety in dishes and fresh ingredients they offer. Foods are super delicious. Note: If you cant handle spice, go for the no spice option. I got the mild and was on fire! (I thought I was good with spice)
Nahas has always been a favourite of mine but lately I find their pad Thai is very dry and not enough sauce. The noodles stick together without the sauce and is lacking flavour and for it costing $20 I was disappointed
Thai food is amazing... And so fresh!
Incredible pad thai and large serving sizes. I love this place! They are extremely accommodating to food restrictions-vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free. Yummy, regardless. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for
Best Thai in the area, that includes Toronto.
The food is amazing! The best Thai food in Guelph. I just wish they are open all year long and longer every day.
Best Thai in the city!
The portion size was very generous and we could even make two meals out of one pad Thai which I liked. The staff were also friendly. However, we didnt get much flavour from the vegan pad thai. Maybe Im spoiled by Thonburi Thai in Cwood.
Some say its the best Thai in Guelph, Id say its the most hyped Thai in Guelph. To be fair, this isnt Chinese food masquerading as Thai like some other Thai restraints in Guelph. The bar for Thai in Guelph is really low, and although this is definetly more like the Thai food I experienced in Thailand, I dont believe this is the best. Quality of their food is ok, but far from great. I mainly wished their curries packed a little more flavour. They do claim to use some organic ingredients which I appreciate. Where they really lose points for me is their service. It seems their trouble here is largely due to their success. They are just too busy. Last time we ordered from them the place was jam packed with people waiting for orders. We ordered 7 hours in advance. When I arrived I was told it would be another ten minutes, which is totally forgivable. The real problem started ten minutes later when we were informed they didnt have any more left of one of our ordered meals. The individual serving me then charged me for the full order even though we did not receive one of the dishes. They did refund me once I realized things werent adding up and I pointed out the mistake....but they were some busy the person didnt even try to figure out the exact amount I was owed. They just dumped a bunch of cash in my hand. I dont necessarily blame the staff. The atmosphere was tense and chaotic and they looked visible stressed. I do believe the restraints popularity has risen to such a degree that they are in desperate need of a larger space, with more staff, and capacity to serve food. As is, I cant see us returning. Its really not worth the trouble.
Delicious and so fresh. Will definitely visit regularly.
The food is astounding. There is one table with four seats, two with two seats, and a counter with maybe six seats - its tiny. Its also damned spicy for North American palates, so start at medium before going full hot. The place is perhaps two or three decades removed from a fresh coat of paint, but its clean and comfy and cosy. Staff is really, really sweet. Food comes out quickly. If you dont try this place, youre missing out. Parking: Theres a parking lot across the street.
Go-to place for authentic thai food in Guelph
The. Best. Thai food. Ever. Go go go go go. I go to Guelph every couple weeks and now that Im aware this is here, I cant go there without stopping in here.
So DELICIOUS!!!! This is our very first time trying Naha Thai. We recommend it !!
Best Thai in Guelph
Food is good. But they need update the prices.
Definitely one of the best Thai food places Ive ever had. Super fresh ingredients with lots of floral flavor. Not greasy or salty at all and something you can feel good about eating. Recommend Tom Yum soup
No fuss! No frills! Just damn good food and wholesome service! Wow! What a find! Just back from a harrowing, slushy drive back from picking my son up from Toronto airport, we re driving into Guelph on York Rd, wondering where we can safely pickup something that isn t the same old, same old takeout, and we spotted the cheerily lit up storefront of Na Ha Thai s Kitchen through the flying snow! We ordered yellow curry with pineapple and chicken, the house fried rice with chicken, beef, and shrimp, along with two different orders of crispy spring rolls. Beyond delicious, beyond homemade , and in fact, the two ladies behind the counter made me feel I had two mothers making sure I got enough to eat! We were their last customers before they closed for the holiday season, giving all staff ten days off for real family time! Something they ll do again in mid-summer! So civilized! So thoughtful! No wonder the service and the food make you feel like you re at home! It comes from a place of loving care and respect! Definitely not the same old, same old takeout experience! Loved it! PS. Stuffed ourselves with huge chunks of chicken and pineapple, yummy crispy spring rolls, and fried rice with more meat protein than rice, and still had enough for tomorrow s lunch!
Yummy thai food, we ordered online for a pickup. Everything was tasty and authentic.
First time trying Naha because everyone recommended it and there was a small disappointment, but nothing too serious. As someone who travelled around Thailand and took some cooking classes while I was there, I would say that their Red curry and Khao Soi were pretty authentic. They do add some more vegetables in their dishes to bulk up the food which is appreciated. It didnt take away from them. In the Khao Soi and Red Curry you can see and taste that the curry paste is made in house and not from a container. I believe this is the first restaurant that I have come across where I could really tell that it is made in house. Ill only take away one star because they used tofu puffs instead of block tofu like shown in the pictures. The garlic chives that are usually used in pad thai were replaced with green onion. For people who are not familar with Thai spicy levels, these items are authentically spicy.
Very friendly and accommodating! Food is excellent! I am looking forward to ordering again soon. Highly recommend this place.
Excellent Thai food. I had the pad Thai chicken. I will be back to try there other menu options.
Full of flavour! You will not regret ordering from here.
Best Thai food around, no question. Must have papaya salad, pad woon Sen, pad see-ew.
Very tasty but too pricey!!
Delicious food, uncommon choices Ive never seen before, Northern Larb was great, fresh ingredients and unique blend of spices. Default spice level is definitely hotter than most Canadians will be used to so if you want it just a bit hot, ask for very mild, but dont expect it to magically not be spicy, its Thai food.
For the price of the food, I was expecting something especially good (around $19 per dish). Pad thai was VERY average and they really overdo all of the dishes with fish sauce. Price and quality are not in alignment.
Amazing take-out Thai food! Best in Guelph area.
Best thai in Guelph. Absolutely delicious - the spice is real!!!
Amazing and authentic food. This is a real experience. Always quality ingredients too!
Best Thai s foods ever have made here
Oh my goodness. This is seriously so e great Thai food. Fast, hot, and just the right spice for us. We will be back!
Excellent family run Thai restaurant. The choices, quality and portions have never disappointed us.
Best thai food in Guelph and surrounding area without a doubt! Have gotten take out here countless times and never been disappointed.
I get hungry thinking about this place.
Easily the best Thai food in Guelph by a mile! So packed with flavour, great veggies and some unique and delicious choices on the menu! Agree with other reviews that spice level is higher than what Canadians would expect, so if you like a lower spice level, order a dish that is milder by default. I highly recommend the Massaman Curry!
Driving by this restaurant you might miss it, and that would be a horrible mistake. Just tried it for the first time and I was blown away by the flavour and quality of the food. Absolutely amazing, will be coming by again soon!
Give this place a try! The smell as you enter the building is incredible. Had chicken pad thai with a chicken and beef spring roll on the side. Excellent, excellent food. Will be trying more of the menu in the future.
best pad thai in guelph
Very delicious!!
Updated May 2022 - Everything is still awesome! Excellent food, friendly service. If you really like spicy food you may need to order extra extra spicy. If youre not into spicy (mild-medium at most restaurants) order mild. Great food!
Amazing food. Authentic and spicy! Pad woon Sen is a favorite. Cozy diner feel.
Always delicious, so fresh, and they take such good care of dietary restrictions - I recommend the Pa nang curry. 10/10!
Best Pad Thai and yellow curry I ve had, by far ,here in Guelph. Definitely more authentic Thai food ! 5 stars
Good quantity, food was okk good . Small but nice restaurant. Ac was not working fine . Thank you ,
I had a Thai street food item off the menu, it was quite tasty and the perfect size for a meal. When we ordered they said our food would be ready in 20 minutes but it was more like half of that. My only sort-of quibble was that dine-in space is very limited. It was a beautiful evening and we met 6 friends who were already eating outside so it was fine, but in poor weather it would be much different.
The best Thai I ve had in Ontario! Must try their Pad thai and Drunken Noodles!
Yummy, and they were able to accommodate my uncommon preference of keto with my allergies to gluten and dairy! My fav place in Guelph for food
By far the best Thai in Guelph
Loyal Na-Ha customers for years; always fresh and prepared with care.
We just had great Veg. Drunken noodles and vegan Pa nang curry, both flavourful and delicious. Also had veg. Spring rolls, still piping hot after 15 min drive!! My husband is very fussy about his Thai food and even he loved it!! Thanks so much!!! Five thumbs up!!
Delicious
Delicious sauces, all of them. Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu has gluten free options at no abilist extra-cost! And of course dairy-free. Recommended dishes Drunken Noodles
The best salty crab som tam papaya salad ever!!! Just like Thailand, food is soooo good
Love the Tom yum fried rice!
The best Thai foods in guelph and nice teams work.......from Nancy with
Delicious! And they are very accommodating for my family members who have food allergies. And there are standard vegan and gluten free menu options. This is favourite Guelph restaurant for good reason.
The food was authentic, fresh, and flavourful. We had the Musaman Curry, Tom Yum fried rice, and the fresh role... Absolutely recommend! Pics attached, I also recommend take-out over dine-in.
Amazing
Always favorite and go to meal after a busy week week. You can never go wrong with their fried rice and Holy Basil dishes.
Lovely family owned business with good food! Everything we ordered was so tasty!
I cannot speak highly enough about Na Ha Thai! It is my all time favourite Thai restaurant. The flavours are complex and delicious, the spice scale is genuine, and the staff are ALWAYS so kind and happy. I appreciate the exquisite international flavours they bring to Guelph. Well worth a visit (and revisit!). Vegetarian options: They have ample veggie options, plus vegan! Dietary restrictions: They are very conscious of vegan and nuts in their menu. Ask them, and they probably can cater to your needs! Parking: Parking is hidden around back. Wheelchair accessibility: Entry is on level with sidewalk.
Hands down the best Thai in all of Guelph!
Amazing and tasty food. The spice level was exactly what you would expect and the fragrance of the food was divine. We ordered a bunch of foods to try: pad Thai, red and green curries, fresh spring rolls, and chicken. They all were absolutely delicious. Service was also super friendly and were able to accommodate any dietary requests. One of my favourite restaurants in Guelph, for sure!
Pad wooden sen vegies is my favorite yummy.
Naha is my favourite place to eat in Guelph. Last night I called to place an order pretty late. Since it was one item they could fit me between orders rather than waiting the original 40 minute wait time. Reaffirms how this is the best place to eat in Guelph
Real authentic Thai food, from Thai chefs and a Thai owner. Youll know you came to the right place by the mouthwatering smell when you walk in the door. Since Golden Basil closed down weve had to branch out to less accessible places, but this one is 100% worth it. Seating is very limited. And beware - even the medium is super spicy! Parking: Parking at back of building
Hands down the best Thai food! Prepared with fresh ingredients, carefully selected with flavours unparalleled. Highly recommend!!! Vegetarian options: Vegan options as well.
Probably the best fried rice Ive ever had perfect amount of flavor and spice.
Our favourite take-out spot in Guelph! Amazing food, friendly staff, very organized, very consistent food! Place your orders early in the day, to make sure you get the pick-up time that you want. Everything I have tried is very good. My favourite dishes are the Pad Woon Sen, Tom Yum Fried Rice, and Khao Soi. I find that their spice levels run a bit hotter than other restaurants. If you are debating between two spice levels, I would suggest going with the milder option.
Best pad thai in town. I hate that theyre closed Sundays and Mondays though.
Food delicious...best in Guelph. Only thing I would mention is, be careful with the HEAT...I asked for medium and they did advise me to go a little less if I dont like it too hot, which I did, but it was still a little hot to my liking and I do like a bit of heat. Other wise very good.
Absolutely amazing food. Highly recommend trying them.
Great Thai food
Amazing food!
Ordered vegan fried rice and red curry. Absolutely loved it!!
