I'm a big fan of sushi and explored this sushi restaurant with my friend for lunch today. I ordered the lunch bento box which was a good portion for one person. The daily special recommended by our server was great too. Our server was very helpful in making sure the ingredients were suitable since my friend is a vegetarian but allergic to cucumber. Big shout out to An 😋😋
Really good vegan sushi and other options. They have a vegan menu! Shoutout to Flora for great service.
I love this place. Service and food is consistently fantastic! Today we ordered the “Gianto- oh maki lunch special” and ice cream for dessert. Everything was super fresh and we left feeling comfortably full and happy :)
First time ordering from Sushi Nami Royale and enjoyed the meal. Ordered kappa maki (cucumber rolls), vegtable gyoza, and miso soup. The kappa maki was good and fresh tasting. The cucumber had been finely chopped and the nori (seaweed) did not have any unpleasant tastes. This shows promise for other sushi dishes here being potentially good. The miso was not as strong as I would have hoped and the gyoza was good (didn't blow me out of the water though). Overall I'd recommend eating there as when picking up the order the interior looked welcoming and comfortable. Seems like a decent place to get sushi in Halifax.
Really enjoyed my experience here! I absolutely love the interior decoration so much🥰 I would recommend coming to the downtown branch just for the cozy decor that makes the dining experience that much better. The rolls were really tasty here, had no complaints. Everything tasted fresh and was of high quality.
We visit from out of town and absolutely love this place! The service is great. One of us is vegetarian and the server was very helpful with making sure the ingredients are suitable (which I almost order a miso soup thinking it’s vegetarian!!) food come out fast and delicious!! So glad there’s vegetarian options! The restaurant is very spacious and lovely. Another great feature I love is the electrical lift - wheelchair accessible. Will definitely come back !
Fairly large sushi restaurant with nice high ceilings. The sushi tastes fresh but the fish is quite bland. The sashimi is also cut very thick, probably the thickest cuts I’ve ever seen. To be honest it was too thick, and you have to constantly nibble and re-dip into the wasabi/soy sauce. The seafood somen was ok but you have to eat it quick otherwise the somen starts to bloat. The salmon maki was great and they add these little crunchy bits to the bottom to give it some nice texture. Friendly and attentive staff.
I visited this restaurant with a few friends and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our server took 20 minutes to take our orders, and it took an additional 35 minutes for our rolls to arrive. When the food finally came, I was dissatisfied with both the presentation and quality. The fish-to-rice ratio was imbalanced, thin, and the rolls were poorly assembled, falling apart when being picked up. Additionally, the pieces were too large to eat in one bite. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience.
This is the second poor experience in a row. The first was getting a super nasty order from Uber Eats, and then again last night while dining in. The service was great, but the chicken was so tough I d have rather tried eating a leather boot. The salad had no flavor- the dressing was like water. The bento box relied entirely on peppers as filler which dominantes the overall flavour of everything. The rice was cold, and the salmon maki was so full of tempura bits that I was practically coughing dust. I was embarrassed bringing my guests there and I ll never ever go back. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
Great sushi and good service.
Usually I really like Sushi Nami. Tonight our rice was extremely overcooked and they forgot ginger and wasabi for my roll (one of my favourite parts). Disappointed:(
Reviews more than one star are fake. This place is disgusting.
Nice picture
I had the Scallop roll , some sashimi, and the miso soup! It was fantastic!!!
Nami is awesome! The sushi was fresh and tasty, and the staff was really friendly.
I went yesterday and I eat a sushi, it was so delicious but I had frightened banana with ice cream and the taste of that was really awful and I ask the girl please check the expired date of that because it wasn t the same as usual and that girl never came back to answer me, and now i have a bad pain in my belly because it made me sick
Great prices, good sushi, friendly and helpful wait staff, clean washrooms Wheelchair accessibility: Has a small elevator I believe Food : 4/5 |
Really nice food! The specials are crazy. And the price is good too.
Best place for Ramen in Halifax!
Perfect service, amazing food! I personally recommend the beef curry udon noodles.
Ordered the Deluxe Moriawase Dinner, Ocean s 7, and Mini Kamikaze. The winner for me is the Moriawase dinner - that butter fish sashimi was AMAZING. Food : 5/5
I am a huge fan of sushi and I know everything about it, I have tried it in many countries, but it is hard to even call it sushi the rice is not fresh, the rolls are falling apart and cut into different shapes, at the very least it is not professional. it is a waste of money, the order was for 50 dollars
Nice veraety of sushi. Fresh and tasty. Recommended
Pleasantly surprised. Excellent food. Not wheel chair friendly. There are about six steps going down. So if you are in a wheel chair order takeout. Excellent food. Probably the best sushi I ever had. I hope you have a similar experience.
Great service! Great food! Enjoyed a nice meal with my family. Atmosphere was nice. Very clean. Our service was very helpful and super nice! Would def return, next time in Halifax
Delicious every time! Take out and dining in are both great experiences; the quality is always fantastic and portions are good. Ingredients are fresh and the service is great.
The best in HRM - food, service and atmosphere!
I was recommended the place, like will taste better than Sushi Jet. Couldnt eat in because of my dog, got take away and thats what I discovered when I opened at home. Thin, transparent salmon rubbed apart, how come? The worst I have ever seen and tried. People care what they see before they eat indeed. I am curious if the owner would enjoy that dinner or got frustrated? They were also hard to dip into soya sauce because they were falling apart, rice didnt hold together. Sushi Jet still remains my favorite as they have bigger, and salmon is cut pretty sick, so you dont see the rice through it. I want other customers be aware of the quality before they buy and check takeaway on-site.
Get the spicy salmon gari, salmon rolled in salmon
Service immaculate. Amazing food probably best proper sushi in Halifax. Definitely recommend, great prices and presentation 100% Always choosing this place for now on when I crave sushi Food
Always good food.
Always great service!
Excellent food and service.
I absolutely love sushi nami. From the service, to the food it s always consistent. I usually stop in for a quick bite to eat occasionally, and the servers are always so welcoming. They re very quick with taking my order and getting the food out within 5-10 minutes. I can spend less than 30 minutes, for constantly consistent service + food. What s not to love? I find the environment very causal. Upscale from a fast food joint, but still casual enough I feel comfortable dining in with joggers and a t-shirt. Everything s always so fresh! Everytime.
Vegetarian options: A good amount to choose from, and we ll presented in information and plating Wheelchair accessibility: They have a small lift elevator next to the stairs
Great waiters, unpretentious but classy! Good not too loud music. Vegetarian options: A fair selection Wheelchair accessibility: Small lift elevator next to the stairs at entrance
Ordered on Uber Eats. Always great sushi. But why do they never send a reasonable amount of ginger?? Oh and when I have requested extra, they don t send it. There was literally one piece of ginger with my order tonight.
Lovely location for Sushi. Never had a bad experience here. Atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff have always been incredibly kind and pleasant to deal with. Looking forward to our next visit
In short: disappointing food in a great location with charming staff. The shrimp tempura was an odd combination of floppy and soggy. The California roll was about 90% cucumber with a hint of avocado and the suggestion of crab. Able to meet lots of different dietary restrictions. The staff were friendly and well acquainted with the menu but definitely some of the most disappointing sushi Ive ever had.
Excellent food and fast service! Great value for your money
We tried a couple of items in their menu and they were all good but I wouldn t say there was anything especial about the staff, the environment or the food. It was ok.
Absolutely 10/10 recommend the spicy miso soup!! The staff was also amazing
I love this places, can always come and do my studies in pieces differently my top pick
This one star is for the Sapporo and the good company I had because the makis where of very low quality, falling apart, warm definitely not coming back and will not recommend. The pieces are way to big, definitely not bite size so once again falls apart all over. *Thank you guys for your fast reply, unfortunately we were told that if the maki were to be cut, the integrity of the makis could be falling apart as unfortunately the rolls where not made tight..
All the ingredients are not fresh and taste terrible. I don t recommend that you go there to eat. I have been in Japan for a few years and the taste is completely different from this one. It is not authentic at all.
Staff were lovely even though we were there late on a Monday night. Sushi itself was delicious (I had the vegetarian dragon roll). The vegetable gyoza were good but didn t stand out.
Love this sushi! Excellent environment.
Decent sushi and tempura. Staff are super nice. Interiors are interesting and decorative.
Loved the Philadelphia sushi rolls. The gayoza and vegetables tempura were the next best dishes. We also ordered edamame, miso soup and drinks. We ordered spicy tuna which was not spicy and one critic I have was the sushi rolls were not tightly rolled, with rice just falling out. Overall the food was really good and the staff friendly.
Delicious
They didn t have as many gluten free options as I would ve liked as even their spicy sauce had flour for some reason but it was still good, and the staff were nice.
Terrible... fish is barely visible... sliced so thin it has no flavor... you are eating rice!
service was exceptionally welcoming, our waitress was very patient and i couldnt ask for more. the sashimi doesnt have the original flavor of the seafood but its alright. the salad is a bit overwhelming with the seasoning. miso soup is terrific. Parking: if youre standing from outside the restaurant, look to the right - thats the local universitys parking. its next to a public parking area across the street even though it may not show so from your perspective. its entrance is not at the road where the restaurant is but is on another road which intersects with it. i hope this is comprehensible and helps someone. Wheelchair accessibility: there IS an elevator for wheelchair users, but the seating, not really. you will likely need assistance for that.
I eat a beef Raman here, there was so delicious ! The sushi bar people also so nice and cute. Server was so friendly! I will come back!
The chinese female manager here seems rude.
The service was great food came fast and tasted great. Normally I would not do much more than taste the miso soup. In this case it was very good so I ate most of it.
It was a really long wait to get a seat, but it was worth every moment because the food was awesome
Delicious sushi! Even when forgot a couple things in our order they came back and not only gave us what was missing but gave us 2 extra miso soup! Customer service is on point!
This place has the quality of an all you can eat sushi restaurant but charges you like a real sushi bar. Very poor quality sushi filled to the brim with vegetables with little to no meat.
not a big sushi fan but i really like the spicy salmon rolls from here (i don t like fish besides salmon and im picky with texturés so this is impressive)
The waitress Kim was very good service.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is set by an elevator at the entrance for accessibility but has to be operated by a staff. The Washroom is also accessible. Recommended dishes
This is a pretty decent sushi restaurant, middling food but not terrible. They have a wide variety of options if you want to explore some new flavors. The interior design and atmosphere is probably the best part about this place - a wide sushi bar takes up the middle of the space, and the entire restaurant is slightly sunken into the building which makes it feel a little quieter despite being right downtown. They have a pretty nice variety of beverages, including an interesting ramune flavored drink which I would recommend if its still available. Vegetarian options: Some veg options available, including gyoza
A bit on the pricey side. But the food was well preped. Was really good.
Great, fresh sushi. The quality of the food makes up for any other shortcomings. I was there on a holiday weekend (Canada Day) and it was clear they were not prepared to be that busy. The staff was struggling to keep up. But once I finally got my food, it was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Really disappointed in this restaurant. Was looking for some authentic Japanese cuisine and was severely disappointed. Staff were underwhelming, inattentive , and rushed. They put all the sushi on the same plate then asked us to remove the nigiri from the rest. WhT if there was an allergy ? Or food sensitivity? The vegetable yaki udon is literally a bowl of noodles. A Jarred sauce and. a whole pile of peppers. (Not an onion or a mushroom or green vegetable to be found !). They don t serve wasabi unless you ask. The rice was cold and not seasoned at all. My 3 year old grandson spit out the rice and said that s gross . It was really underwhelming experience ! Ohhh but they did manage to tell us three times that they were going to automatically tip our bill. (Always a sign to me that is is going to disappoint when they don t have the confidence the client will do right by them ).
A server called Irisy, her service was excellent!!! Strongly recommend tip her 25% or even more
Looks nicer than it was. Meh food. Warm beer. Server argued about why we were not given Wasabi and ginger like customary? My food came out and the server then asked me to take my other guests food off the plate while she held it in the air because they plated wrong and she didnt ask them to replate? Actually said this outloud to us. My other guest was 2 seats over. Will not return
The sashimi is a must: big chunks of melt-in-your-mouth salmon, tuna & escolar. This Cantonese-owned place has been a Halifax classic and I was happy to know they re still open. This newer location has great decor and is very spacious! Waitress was very polite. Rolls were somewhat of a letdown on the day we went, but tasted good. They are a bit loose, sparse and some classics like the dragon roll, while not bad here, didn t taste as good as some other restaurants.
Absolutely above and beyond service, she went and checked with the chef for everything we ordered to make sure there wasnt any cross contamination for a food allergy Sushi was delicious Spicy edamame was a great appy, they bring little finger bowls to wash your hands Serving sizes were generous Highly recommended Vegetarian options: Vegetable Dragon Roll was delicious Dietary restrictions: Server was very graciuos and helpful with food allergy concerns
Great server, quick but not rushed. We were heading out for an event, so we appreciated the fast service
The food is always delicious and comes out fast. I love getting a bunch of appetizers and having small dishes and its a great place for that.
This was my favorite place to eat out in Halifax until a very unpleasant thing happened. I was enjoying my meal a couple of days ago when it appeared that scallops had hard pieces inside, which caused considerable discomfort to my teeth. I asked a waiter for the refund and gave them some of the small stones I found. They went to the kitchen without saying anything to me, and then they came back and didnt say anything related to the issue as well, just made sure that I ordered what I ordered. Long story short, I got a refund but nobody apologized or even acknowledged what happened. This couldve ended really badly for my health cause stones were hard and big enough to cause substantial damage. I expected an apology but got this kind of an attitude when youre treated like its your fault. Disappointing.
Went to get sushi downtown for a lunch date with a friend. I ordered the Maki Lunch, providing me with a delicious plate full of rolls. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice with kind servers to bring you your food. The miso soup was excellent and the spicy salmon rolls were very yummy. However, the house salad was not very good and some of the rolls had an uneven proportion of elements, making each bite slightly unbalanced. Overall, a good place to go for a reasonably priced sushi lunch deal. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options on the menu.
Great food and pricing, clean and welcoming.
They have a separate gluten-free menu, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Their vegetarian rolls are just as good as the non veggie, and I find myself craving it regularly since my first visit.
Great sushi In a cool vibe service was not the best I think our waitress was very new but we worked through it
I had to change my review. My first visit 2 yrs ago was positive, food was great. But, unfortunately, I went back yesterday and was disappointed. Spicy tuna roll was not Spicy and not what the menu described. The Wasabi wasnt spicy either and was dry and discolored. . They have no air conditioning either. Bummer. Dynamite roll was definitely not Dynamite! Wont be back. The only thing good was Anan, our server.
There s a guy named Patrick, who work at reception mostly. He s such a nice guy that I don t have any words to describe. He is always smiling and working and being polite and generous to people. If the owner or manager of restaurant, who is reading my review, please never miss the chance to appreciate this guy especially he is such a wonderful gift for the restaurant.
If you want big cuts of sashimi, come here to Sushi Nami Royale.
Mouse droppings in takeout order
The menu prices and they prices they actually charge are different. I found out today when I ordered Nigiri Salmon rolls, which the menu says are $5.99 each. My bill said $6.99 each. When I asked why the discrepancy, they said they updated their POS system THREE MONTHS ago and haven t updated the menus yet. They flatly said the best they could do was a 10% discount, even though the charged price is 17% higher than the menu price. I get food from Sushi Nami Downtown every Friday for 2 people. Probably gone 10 times in the last 3 months. Apparently, every time, I ve been paying more than the menu states, without noticing. Don t get me wrong, the food and people here are fantastic. I hate to leave a bad review because I always have a great experience. The staff are awesome and misprinting menus isn t their fault. This is not an indictment of them. But this is really deceptive and disappointing. Don t lie to your customers. The difference between the two prices really adds up on a large bill and especially over time. I m not even mad about it happening today, because I caught it. I m more upset that they admitted how long it s been since they started lying on their menus.
I loved the different noodle dishes and the sushi.
Good enough. Nothing extraordinary. Nice place. Excellent presentation. Maybe Ill go back....maybe....
Nice atmosphere, high ceilings The sense of openness is also good. Its not expensive and reasonable. Its reasonable, but I ate it in Japan. It seems to be a little different from chicken teriyaki. I was a little disappointed that the chicken breast came with teriyaki sauce. The pork cutlet was a bit disappointing in the thickness of the meat. The maki was delicious. Overall I am satisfied.
I have been here twice. The service is so bad. We were sitting there for 45 minutes with no drinks. The restaurant forgot our order and made us food in a rush that was not good. Overall, had a terrible experience.
I went there a few times and it always a good experience and nice stuff
Been here tons of times- one of favourite restaurants. Service is fantastic and so is the food!
So it s definitely a great spot to eat. It gets a bit busy on weekends. But very fresh and delicious with a great variety of options! Love it
This place is good but it is EXTREMELY understaffed. Not enough people waiting on tables. Service is SO slow which makes for a frustrating experience
Best sushi in Halifax! Avocado roll is always perfectly ripe with lots of avocado Vegetarian options: Love the yam tempura roll and avocado roll Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
I have yet to find good sushi in Halifax. This is the 3rd place I have been and its okay. I would give it a 6 out of 10. The sweet potato tempura sushi were terrible. Genmatcha tea did not taste Genmatcha at all. The service was good though. Vegetarian options: I ordered the vegetarian bento box. I only liked the tofu. Salad was okay I guess. The rest was suboptimal.
The food is always the best in Halifax.
Got bad food poisoning.
My favourite sushi ever and the service is always great - kind people! Love the atmosphere in there too.
Sushi from this location is always good from what Ive ordered. Lots of selection and a good quality. I find every other sushi nami royale location is not on par with this location.
Great service, great food, Ill definitely be back.
I came here as I was craving for home food. I had a tonkotsu ramen. The taste was horrible and it was not tonkotsu ramen at all. They should have removed it from the menu. The service was super slow. And they played Chinese music. They should not call themselves Japanese restaurant.
This place is consistently great with their quality of food and service. I love the spicy salmon and their spicy miso soup is my always go to!!
Very excellent sushi
Delicious sushi and very nice server.
Delicious food, fantastic atmosphere, amazing servers!
Had an absolutely wonderful time. Great environment, friendly staff, excellent sushi and top notch drinks.
really friendly staff and excellent sushi (serving size, taste, variety - they cover all the bases!). also 10/10 ramen. the atmosphere is beautiful too (altho maybe they could ve played a little less country music, i didnt think that suited the vibe too well tbh). great location, right by the library and close to the waterfront. really great place to go for a date. and the drinks arent too bad either (i recommend getting a cold sake bottle)! definitely coming back again soon. fairly priced as well.
Had a lovely and of delicious lunch here today with my friend today. It s one of the best in Halifax the quality and professional service. I would highly recommend this sushi restaurant if you are reading this I promise they won t disappoint you.
Very good meal!
Great atmosphere and the food is delicious.
High quality food, didnt even realize they were supposed to taste so fresh! Worth the wait!
Always good. Get there before 4:30 for happy hour
First time I came, the service and food was superb for dinner with out of town clients from Ontario. The second time was for lunch with out of town clients, service was slow, food was slightly cold . Disappointed as I raved how delightful my last experience was. The servers were chatting not mindful to get our order as we sat there for awhile waiting Needless to say, I did go back a third time on my own for lunch, the server I had was sweet, brought my food out hot, was on the ball with service. She was delightful which gives me to rate a 4 for this restaurant. Would have been a 5 if it weren t for the inconsistent service from the servers.
Great sushi! My go to!
Delicious fresh sushi, generous portions and very well priced. The service was very attentive and the washrooms spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and will be coming back next time I m in Halifax
Excellent veg tempura. Found the rice in my Bento box a bit dry but the beef teriyaki was very flavourful.
Always love to go there after work! Nice food and good service!
Very polite and attentive staff. I guess we stayed a bit too long because they hinted at us to leave lol
Good service and delicious foods.
Wonderful food!!
Delicious and new tastes. Great experience
Loved this place! Sushi was amazing and very fresh - the service was wonderful and prices were fair - would highly recommend
We ate here on a Monday night and it was fairly busy. We were very pleased with the food. There were some interesting Maki rolls (Fuji Mountain and Rock & Roll), they were fresh and well made. We also had the pork belly as an appetizer and it was delicious. Overall service was good. Was a bit delayed at the beginning since they were short staffed.
Took so long to get my food
Good sushi, nice restaurant, quick wait, friendly servers. Music was a little intense for a sushi restaurant.
As usual, the food is delicious. The service was tremendous and the servers always had a smile on their faces. Very pleasant atmosphere.
Not bad good service and good food
Very delicious sushi especially the sushi pizza.
Good food and very well presented. Service was great.
Perfect food and friendly attentive service.
Not only a beatiful place but the beautiful personalities at this location make their customers feel great. I really need to express my appreciation to dear Taring and Nathan for the great food and their fantastic/professional customer service. I was given a savoury soup and a salad for free. I also got a small portion of the fish rowe on a piece of cucumber for free in a Japanese generosity manner. I highly recommend the white tuna in the sashimi menu, hamachi could be a bit fresher and the soy sauce was even better than the common Kikkoman. See you soon to try a different plate.
Perfect service and delicious food. I like it)
Service is always top notch, and the food is yummy. Fun drinks too. Kinda wack to have the mandatory gratuity fee for 6+ tables, but no biggie, Ill keep coming here all day
Love this place Great sushi and miso soup But always have to wait a long time even when it is not busy I would rather go to the chain lake location because of short wait times
Best Restaurant for Sushi in Halifax.
We stopped in for some A-La-Carte Sushi while in Halifax and were very impressed. We love Tuna and tried a variety of Sushi, Sashimi and Aburi including the Spicy Tuna Roll, Maguro Tuna and White Tuna Albacore. The fish was incredibly fresh and buttery smooth with large cuts. Simply incomparable to Sushi in Ontario. The Beef Tataki is also excellent. Fair prices. Bright and modern atmosphere. Good service.
I came here for my birthday where I tried Japanese food for the first time. It was delicious! The prices were reasonable and the waitress was super sweet!
Very friendly staff, unique restaurant layout, being lower than the entrance off of queen street. Food was delicious and it felt like we got a fair amount of food for what we paid for.
Floor is sticky but food is meticulously prepared. Bento take out, sushi rolls for parties, or dine in pork cutlet rice bowls; theyre authentic.
Best Sushi in town.
Even if the rice used in Japanese restaurants is so ordinary, the rice in the set meal is more like cold rice that has been left overnight and is not willing to be heated in a microwave. The cucumber shreds as a side dish also had no moisture at all. I don t even remember to give mustard without being reminded. the rice is not the sushi rice. And it teste not flesh, dry and hard. More like overnight.
Loved the sushi.
Regular goer of sushi here and its always solid! But I decided on the Ramen and it was terrific! So good I had to drop a review.
Delicious food great sushi and other dishes
Great food and service
Great restaurant, great food, and exceptional house ginger ale. Some of the best I ve had
Delicious!
Friendly and clean
We ordered the sushi boat to share between 3 of us and then the other two of our part of 5 ordered chicken Bento boxes The boat came unexpectedly quick! It was delicious and came with a side of two miso soups and two house salads. The sushi was so fresh and tasty The Bento boxes were loaded with flavourful dishes. Very happy with the meals we recieved
Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator at door
Love their vegetable Maki options and the spicy Salmon! Staff are always friendly and the location is great both for take out and dining in.
Fine food and service. Not the best food but affordable and tasty.
Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator
Like the black sesame ice cream.
My Veggie Maki lunch today was delish. I come here whenever its (a) lunch and (b) a library day its just across the street. Nice people. Fast service.
Delicious food. Decent prices. Will definitely go back.
Maggie was our server for a double date, it was my last night in Halifax before I move to Toronto she was insanely lovely and completely made my night ! :)
Service is incredibly slow. There are not enough waiters. The food is absolutely fantastic but I m constantly annoyed every time I come here because the waiters are so busy running around, cleaning, taking orders that every step of the process takes so slow
Food looked beautiful, but was quite tasteless. Great presentation, but the pieces are too big to fit in your mouth.
First things first, the service. I think they were understaffed in waiters. But on the good side, the food was amazing! I think it was the best sushi I had in Canada! I just wish the salmon nigiri were less expensive. It was the best salmon nigiri ever! In sum, amazing sushi restaurant. Vegetarian options: They had some vegetable maki: like avocado, cucumber etc.
Great spot with excellent servers and a lovely atmosphere.
The food is really good, but some pieces are huge like the sashimi and sushi
Best Sushi,
Sooo good and generous portions
Quality sushi
Quality
Great staff, bento box was well made. The miso soup is to die for.
I have been enjoying the sushi and the service here for several years. However, I have noticed a decline in the cleanliness and upkeep of the dining area. The laminate edging of some of the tables has come unglued and have been, ineffectively, scotch taped. In the booths, posters on the wall are peeling away, the paint is chipped, theres a film of dust on the lightbulbs and the plexiglass barriers are filthy. Would appreciate more care given to these things.
Best sushi in Halifax by far
Wonderful service and amazing food!
