Went for an event recently, there weas hair cooked into the fries, so when you pulled it up they all dangled from said hair. When we ordered, we were very clear about dietary restrictions however we still had to send a few dishes back because they were ignored. Food came out cold. This was a weekday so the restaurant wasnt even busy. Used to be a great spot but has sadly started to go down hill. The server was very friendly though.

Had a wonderful meal last night at Lot Six restaurant. Everything we had was exceptional Gin cocktails made to our order; seared scallops on a bed of greens so fresh & not overcooked; the burger my daughter had was fantastic(I had a bite) and the dessert WOW. We shared a Crème Brûlée magnifique! The service was so attentive. Oz was very helpful, attentive, charming and delightful. She & the chef made our experience superb!

My wife and I sought out a comfy looking spot for oysters and Sauvignon blanc on our last evening of vacation. A few spots were closed. We walked by here and it seemed to fit the bill. We were not disappointed. In fact our expectations were exceeded. Oysters and wine at the bar were superb.

Thought we would indulge in happy hour and have a few local oysters, instead we ordered a brisket burger, which came with a generous portion of shoestring fries. Love the bright atmosphere in the atrium. In the past, we ve eaten at the bar high top tables and alfresco on their Argyle Street patio for a locally crafted beverage.

We made a reservation on a Sunday evening and were surprised to find few people dining at the restaurant. My partner and I were disappointed to learn that the menu had changed as we were looking forward to ordering their seafood linguini. Instead, we ordered a veggie burger and risotto (which was incredibly salty). Our server had no information to offer on any of the dishes nor did he check in on us. Overall, we would not recommend this restaurant. However, the Mexican restaurant next door seemed busy and fun. Next time we will likely eat there! Had the tuna tataki, steak tartar, seared scallops and calamari and other dishes too. Portions are not gigantic but taste and presentation standout. Service was excellent.

One of the few times every person in our family loved their meal. Every dish was presented well and tasted even better. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to coming back the next time we are in town.

I celebrated my birthday tonight with my mom and we both were given a complimentary drink and dessert. Very accommodating to my moms gluten allergy as well. We had a very good Waiter named Ethan and excellent service. Thank you again for the great experience and birthday dinner.

Food was served before drinks....and that took a while

This was the first time at this restaurant and my wife and I didnt know what to expect. Our server was very knowledgeable and polite. He took very good care of us. The food was excellent, I had the burger and my wife had the lobster roll and as she told me it was the best roll she has ever had. My burger was pretty darn good also. Now, we did see a mouse running around but we were sitting outside in the patio area so I cant blame the restaurant for that. That being said the patio had lots for a rodent to munch on and the areas outside the patio area wasnt that clean either. We were sitting at a two person table beside a railing that divides two sections, on the other side of this railing was another two person table and twice we had two couples sit down beside us and both times got up and moved tables. Both times we all felt very uncomfortable as it felt like we were all sitting at the same table. It may be worth wild to rearrange some of the tables. Overall a good experience and if we come back we will be selective of were we sit.

We came here for a private event in the back room. It was a beautiful venue. The staff were extremely attentive. The bartenders made great cocktails and the food that was circulating was delicious. I ll be back for a proper meal!

A great bar with friendly staff and great service. There is a great selection of food and drinks at a good price. There is also a fun pub quiz every week which is a nice way to spend an evening.

Service was phenomenol. Staff were very knowledgeable about the cocktails and the food was exquisite.

Our large group of 26 or so came for a brunch reservation. The server mentioned that they were missing some staff. In spite of this, he did a great job looking after our group. The food was amazing. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon. It was delicious.

Brunch was delicious. Quiche was chef s kiss! Lovely atmosphere in the atrium. Service was great. Only complaint would be the cup of coffee is small for the price and they charge per cup. Will be back for brunch for sure!

Corey made my bachelorette brunch the best time ever. He truly made us feel welcome and special. He made sure our bottomless mimosas (ish) were always full and his service was very quick even though the place was busy. He is very attentive and has a great sense of humour and made us laugh everytime he came to the table :) He went above and beyond with his service. He remembered our group from the last time we came in as well. Thanks Corey for making our brunch unforgettable!! We will definitely be back

Nothing was particularly exceptional. The cocktails were decent, the nachos were okay. Sad that the oysters lacked the condiments they normally are served with and wasnt told until we inquired after they were served. Another event was clearly being held after our meal as tables were being cleared and lights and music changing while we were eating.

Did not feel welcomed by staff. Ordered arancini for a starter, crunchy but tasteless and not enough sauce. I then had the vegan bao buns, presentation was nice but no balance of flavours. My tablemates all ordered the fish burger special which I was told was delicious! Tried a non alcoholic cocktail, can t remember the name but had an olive in it. It was delicious!! But very small for $8.

disclaimer - I didnt eat during this last visit, so this review is based on service/atmosphere alone. Came to lot 6 for a drink to support a friend doing a cocktail comp - the front bar was staffed with 3 and still I had to ask to be served. The bartender who served me was rude, slow, and asked and you want change? from a 20 for a $12.25 glass of wine ... entitled?? A general air of being bothered about having to do anything. Anyway. My two other friends had the same low quality service when they grabbed their drinks, and a 3rd friend went there later in the week and said they got the same type of attitude from the same server Id had. The management would do well to have a standard of service that people need to meet, its a beautiful space but I wont be going again.

This is by far one of my favourite restaurants in all of Halifax! It is easily the best place, in my opinion, to enjoy amazing drinks, perfectly prepared meals and a yummy dessert. The menu changes regularly ,Id say every 3-6 months, which keeps things fresh, original and exciting. The staff is second to none. From the moment you enter to the time you leave, you will feel right at home. I love the connection that the staff makes with their customers... Down to the head chef, Chef Chris, who is super social and never denies guests the opportunity to compliment his amazing cuisine pairings. The restaurant is location in the heart of Downtown Halifax, which means parking can be a bit challenging on busy days, but there are tons of paid parking options and quite a bit of roadside parking spaces available. The area is nice for exploring, especially during the summertime and a quick walk to the Waterfront for those looking for something to do after the meal. The pricing is mid range with many affordable options. It will typically run each guest somewhere between $60-70 on average for 2 drinks, an entree, and dessert. This place also has some of the BEST oysters you will encounter in Nova Scotia! On the down side, it is not very kid friendly as the set up is more geared toward adults, but I guess for some that could be a plus lol. If you happen to visit, be sure to try the oysters, their world famous Mac & cheese with the lobster or salmon add-on and the Lot Six Burger; the BRUNCH IS ALSOOOOOO 10/10 (I literally would recommend any and everything on that menu)!!!

We were in town for a couple weeks and made this a regular spot each day. The bartender was amazing. After our first couple visits he knew us by name and treated us exceptionally well. Oysters were amazing. Nice and close to the arena. Great location.

Went for their brunch and bottomless-ish mimosas and it was really lovely. I had the salmon benny and it was good, except for the salmon was waaaaay too fishy, it overpowered the entire meal. My friend got their french toast which was lovely! Servers were very pleasant and the Atrium is beautiful.

My second time here and it was even better than the first time! Requested the atrium seating and it makes the atmosphere so warm and welcoming. Started with some yummy oysters, ordered some tasty potato and onion cakes and finished off with a turtle cheesecake. Made for a great date night!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I went to lot six with a large group of friends. We were enjoying ourselves, everything was fine. One of my friends showed up late, everything was fine. A few minutes after she sat down with us, security came to remove her from the restaurant stating that the hostess said my friend was rude to her. My friend was confused as she hadn t even seen or spoken to a hostess when she came in. We all left with her and politely asked to speak to the hostess or a manager outside as there was clearly a mistake and the hostess must have been talking about someone else. The hostess cowardly refused to come out. We called the restaurant and politely asked to speak to a manager and the response we received on the other end was y all get out of here and then they hung up. The fact that the hostess wouldn t even show her face to see for herself that she made a mistake makes me believe this was race motivated as my friend is African American. I m completely shocked by the level of unprofessionalism lot six has. Even if the hostess was telling the truth - this is not how you run a business. You do not kick people out of your establishment for being rude, and you certainly don t allow your employees to make accusations without having a manager check it out. Do not go here, unless you re white and support businesses like this, I guess.

really fun bar downstairs!

At first , my partner and I are succumbed to a bar and couple tables upon entrance. We then proceed to our table, which is in a completely open space, skylight roof. My partner states: very aesthetically pleasing restaurant . The lobster rolls- was enough for the 2 of us. We received a very large portion of truffle fries. 10/10. Service was pleasant, waiter was great. Definitely will be coming back!! :)

Dined at Lot Six and had a highly disappointing experience. The food quality was poor, service was poorer and the cost was extremely inflated in comparison to what we actually enjoyed. Will not be returning.

40 years old couple refused entry cuz of no Id. Were extremely insulted and embarrassed of the lack of common sense. I clearly dont look anything like 18 years and to treat me like one is an insult.

Great setting- we loved the atmosphere here. The place has a lot of character. The cocktails and oysters were tasty. We plan to come back here next time we re in the city!

My partner and I have visited here a few times and will continue to come back. Service is great. Bar staff and waiters are very knowledgable. The energy is lively without being loud or overly busy. The fresh oysters and mignonettes are the best. They offer a great selection small plates. Definitely recommend this spot!

This restaurant is very dirty

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. Tonight was our second time here (the first time was a few years ago) and everything was excellent. The atmosphere is super cozy, classy, and relaxed. Our server was amazing - she was super friendly, polite, and helpful! As for the food.. well let me tell you.. It was fantastic! We ordered the nachos to start and finished them very quickly. For our mains we ordered the Mac and cheese (without any additives) and the prime rib (I think?) sandwich with truffle fries. Both were incredible! We were full halfway through our mains, and debated taking them home.. However we could not stop eating! The drinks were also excellent! I definitely recommend eating here & we will be back!

Jake is the best he made us speciality cocktails, including one one for my 30th birthday. He makes incredible cocktails and has the warmest spirit. A must!!!

Lot Six is by far one of our favourite Restaurants. It has a beautiful ambiance especially in the atrium with its glass roof and Edison lights. Its lively and the service it always great even when they are busy. The cocktails are always delicious and the food keeps us coming back again and again. If the atrium is too much for you they also have a study which is another dining area off the front bar. Its quieter and delivers a great alternative for those who may not want to sit in the atrium with the main bar and music.

Victoria is such a lovely bartender. She doesn t just make the drinks, she recommends them and asks what you like and makes you anything to match that. Very happy and bubbly staff in general and all the drinks were great.

We went there for our friends birthday, we were five people in total. It had a lot of sitting space but I ve heard that it s mostly reserved. Better to book it in advance. I would definitely go there again if I m in Halifax. Their fries were very fresh and dips were awesome.

Went about a month ago. The staff were really polite and attentive. I ordered oysters Rockefeller to start and the sliders for my main. I tried a few raw oysters, not for me, hence the Rockefeller; it was very good. The sliders were excellent; great white sauce, juicy and they looked nice too!. I had bananna cocktail, was incredible, so good! My friend also enjoyed everything he ordered. We were pleasantly surprised. Will go back for sure!

Incredible atmosphere and wonderful drinks. Wish I had a haunt like this next-door: Id be here weekly.

I cannot speak more highly of this spot. We sat at the bar, had some delicious cocktails, enjoyed some great food (I could have had 5 more brisket sliders) and the atmosphere was incredible. The night was especially memorable because of the staff. Ilya and Jacob were our bartenders who not only mixed delicious drinks but made us feel right at home. Definitely a place well go back to and excited to call it our home bar whenever were in town.

Stopped in last evening and I m so glad we did. Right off the jump, we were treated so well. The staff are outstanding; friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. It wasn t long before we turned the decision making over to them and boy, they made it wonderful. We started with fresh oysters, shared their Burger Week offering and picked items from the Dine Around menu, having a veritable smorgasbord of deliciousness. The dessert, oh my, what a treat. Hats off to the pastry chef. Completely impressed with the cocktails they crafted for us. There is a lot of beverage experience & knowledge, coupled with passion in spades. We will be back!

We sat at the bar and got cocktails. Our bartender was extremely knowledgeable. He explained how vermouth is made, and educated us on how it should be stored as well as the difference between the dry and sweet varieties. He gave us a couple of small samples of each so that we could understand the difference. It was a great experience all around

Most unresponsive restaurant for event bookings. The manager is completely non-responsive and you can go a month without getting a call back on a major event.

Menu & food quality has gone down ever since COVID-19. It has gotten more expensive with a worse menu (imo). The Atrium is a great spot for a romantic date or a special group event so definitely book there if you like the current menu. This isnt to say the food is bad but I dont go there nearly as often as i used to. If you are just interested in the bar the drinks are great.

I really want to go to lot six for my birthday but it seems like alot six doesn t want me there. This review is about the customer service. I emailed them about a reservation 2 weeks ago and I ve called everyday since then. I ve also left my name and number each time but I haven t heard back from the manager. Seriously lot six I m just trying to have brunch and the manager won t return my calls.

An absolutely incredible venue for a wedding! The manager and all of the supporting staff at Lot Six went above and beyond to execute everything so flawlessly. They worked with us to create personalized details that we had in mind, and were very flexible and helpful leading up to the big day as well as on the day of. The food, drinks, and whole atmosphere were amazing. The atrium was a beautiful backdrop for both a ceremony and reception. All of our guests had an incredible time. I would recommend Lot Six for anyone looking for a place to have their wedding!

Made reservations for the atrium but was then seated in a different area and had to ask for the atrium. When we asked for the atrium we were told they would see if there were any open tables. The atrium was completely empty when we were seated and we were told we would have to be quick as there was a reservation coming up 2 hours later. Server never took menus off the table. Cocktail was $4 more expensive than menu said it was. Were seated directly next to another couple when whole area was empty.

My Fiancé and I had our wedding booked at Lot Six since December of 2021. What started out as a venue that we adored became a serious source of frustration and disappointment throughout the wedding planning process. Communication was severely lacking, with multiple unanswered emails and unreturned calls. The transition in management staff was not communicated to us, leaving us unaware of the changes while our calls and emails went ignored for MONTHS. Despite our patience and attempts to accommodate Lot Sixs disorganization, there were constant last-minute changes and cancellations, causing significant inconvenience and stress. We were unable to finalize any important details such as day-of logistics, menu options, cocktail options and more. Every attempt to organize a tasting turned into a game of cat and mouse with us constantly following up via email, phone, text and even Instagram dm s and getting nowhere. After almost 2 months of back and fourth and just over 2 months to go till the wedding we settled on a date of their choosing that did not work great for us just to get it done, taking time off work from both of our jobs and making travel arrangements only for them to cancel on us a few hours prior. The chef was sick, however the restaurant was still open, the least they could have done was to invite us in for a few bites off the regular menu and to enjoy the space and get excited since we had travelled from out of town instead we missed out on a special experience of tasting our menu together that we were really hoping would turn our experience with Lot Six in a positive direction. We were also told something was being put in the mail to make it up to us, however we ve received nothing. We were also asked to let them know a time of our choosing to have a chat to make things right, however after multiple attempts on our part to propose times the same scenario of being ignored for days, no follow up or accountability occurred. We had to have family members show up to the restaurant and ask the GM to call us back. An hour or so later we got a text message from the GM. Considering the significant investment that a wedding entails, it is unacceptable that couples big days should be compromised due to poor service, communication, and absolute lack of accountability. The treatment we received from Lot Six had us feeling like we were bothering them and that they did not want our business, the impression was that since our contract was signed under the old GM we weren t a priority. For this reason, we cancelled our wedding at Lot Six only 7 weeks out from our wedding date. We had to change our date to the Friday, our venue, lost money in vendor deposits that could not make the switch, and had guests who could no longer make it. Despite the stress that this entails we could not stomach giving Lot Six our business at this point and we were not surprised to find out that we are not the only couple at our new venue who made the last minute switch due to terrible service from Lot Six. The GM did offer a variety of discounts and perks once we said we had a new venue, but by this point the trust was gone. Despite being told our deposit would be refunded promptly, it unsurprisingly took more than a full month of us pestering constantly to actually get our money back. Lot Six needs to address these issues promptly and provide the necessary resources, support, and attention to ensure a smooth and successful wedding process for all of their paying clients or they should stop booking weddings.

Lot Six had always been a favourite stop on our annual visits to Halifax. Our dinner tonight was delicious, as always and that fact is what had us forgiving the presence of a swarm of fruit flies around our table. What we hadn t expected was that we would be sharing the dining room with a mouse that scurried across the floor not once, but twice! When we brought these issues to the attention of our server all we got was a thanks for letting us know. Needless to say this visit will likely be our last anniversary dinner at Lot Six.

The food was fantastic, the portion was quite huge and the whole place is gorgeous. Although it indicated in the menu that there might be cross contamination, I asked for gluten free and vegan (to avoid lactose) and they were so careful! Even brought the gluten free bun on a separate plate in case I was vegan and did not feel comfortable with eggs touching my food. Honestly one of the best experiences I have had i a really long time eating out with a few food intolerances. Could never say enough good things about it, it is just absolutely FANTASTIC!

Don t go there if you are in your 20s and french. My girlfriend and i had the worst experience. First of all i called to make sure they had place. The girl on the phone told us they were fully booked then when i looked on the website, all the reservations time were available so we decided to book and go because my girlfriend thought the place looked nice. We arrived there, first of all the place was totally empty, second same girl on the phone asked for our IDs to eat ? and tell us she only have table outside. Bad luck my girlfriend had forgotten her IDs at the hotel, even if she had a picture of her ID and clearly don t look underage, the girl didn t want to find a solution. Don t know what was her problem, I hope not having us there made her day :D !

Went here the other day for a birthday, they sat 6 of us at a table for 4, then when we asked if we could push another empty table over to ours, our waiter gestured to table nearby and said at least youre not a group of 8 at a table for 4. They said they were fully booked up with reservations(fair! But you should be able to seat people comfortably instead of squeezing larger groups together like this haha). The table that could seat 10-12 behind us remained empty for the whole 2:30 hours we were there. The side salad tasted like it was about to go bad too :( oh also it was 10$ for the worlds smallest lemon mousse. Slay.

Ordered: Truffles fries - delicious Burger with goat cheese - bland and underwhelming Nachos - ok Overall, we were disappointed. I tried the burger without any of the extra goat cheese and it had no taste.

The food and staff were great. I enjoyed the mac and cheese with lobster, great dish. All the food was well prepared and plated well. One thing is that the bathrooms did not have soap in the dispenser. But it was a great evening.

We were out for a friends birthday and we were so fortunate to have Maya as our server for the evening. Not only did she take the time to listen to our crazy stories, but she actually made a connection with each one of us. She went out of her way to ask the bartender to try to make a special version of a shot that was not on their menu ( shout out to the bartender as well ). Probably the best experience we have ever had with a server! Lot six is very lucky to have her on staff!!! When your there, ask for Maya, you will not be disappointed!!

Bottomless mimosas for brunch are amazing. For any wondering, the price has increased to $25 for 8 as per ns regulations but still an amazing deal. Great service, especially from Alicia (sorry if spelled incorrectly) who was an especially friendly and attentive server. My food took a considerable amount of time coming and was a bit cooled off but upon making a small complaint, they were very generous and apologetic including bringing some fresh fries. Great ambience, lovely staff.

Asked for nachos, it was basically just chips avocado and onions, no other toppings. Not worth the price. Nevertheless, great atmosphere and customer service. Maybe their breakfast menu is better.

If I could give 0 stars for the service, I would. Firstly, the host was MIA, and we were seated by the bartender at the bar. Once the host came out to seat us at a table, she went up to the wrong people. Once we got to the table, we sat for a while without a server. As soon as she came up to us, she looked like she didn t want to be there. She had no interest in asking if we wanted or needed anything else. We had to ask to order our meals. Once we got the food, the nacho chips were soggy, and the nachos were cold. We also noticed other staff wearing AirPods. All of the customer interactions (minus the one with the bartender) were just negative. We had no utensils to eat our meals and had to take them from the table beside us because our server never checked in.

Got there at 10:56. No signs anywhere that they were closed and door was open. Got kicked out (awkward) because they only open at 11.. so we came back 4 minutes after please add some sort of indication that you are closed. The rest was amazing though! Food

Ants all over my table, restroom out of supplies, and staff seemed unwilling to be there. Overall will not be coming back. Wheelchair accessibility: Not at all accessible. Bathrooms are all up-or-down stairs. Should be made clear on the website or when making a reservation.

We made reservations for a group of 14. Some of our group travelled 3+ hours to join us for a celebratory dinner, when we arrived the restaurant was closed for a private event. No one notified our group prior to travelling here , leaving us to find a new spot for 14 on a Saturday night. They said the manager would be in touch, one month later and we have heard nothing awful.

I was part of the group of 14 that had made a reservation and was booted at the door saying there was a private event that night that we were not told about! We were kind and gave you guys the benefit of the doubt. Mistakes happen, we are all human. We then Awaited a response and call from the manager that was NEVER received, which is why we left the last 1 star review. Had you reached out and attempted to remedy the mistake a 1 star review NEVER would have been placed! The fact that your response to the review is full of blatant lies show what a shady establishment you are running. I am in shock that a business would go as far to tell a lie instead of attempting to remedy a honest mistake just for a review. Shame on you! Perhaps you need to look into your employees because someone is lying! So to clear things up ,we were never contacted hours after the reservation was made saying there was a mistake, otherwise we wouldnt have shown up! We also were never contacted by the Manager the following day as we were expecting.

We had a group reservation with people traveling from as far as Ottawa but they canceled it without notifying us until we got to the restaurant. When they responded to our issue they claimed they attempted to contact us, this is not true. They even went as far as blaming our cell phone provider for not being able to get in touch with us. It would have been more professional to accept that a mistake was made rather than place blame on someone else. Poor service and PR! I can not rate the food because my reservation was cancelled without notice.

This has been my favorite bar for so many years. The food is amazing, the chefs are top notch. The staff are wonderful, fun, and always great to chat. The cocktails are next level, they arent just a drink, they are an experience. This place is phenomenal!

Crowded, very loud. Ordered the beef rib which was so greasy and bland. Very fatty and the sauce was just so flavorless. The servers didnt come by often or quickly. Took so long to order and it took a very long time for our food. I feel that if I go to a restaurant, that charges what they do, I expect a delicious meal. Very disappointing.

Great food and atmosphere is unique eating in the atrium

I am a patient man. Wait times do not bother me. When we arrived, we were told 30 minute wait time - no problem. Received the notice, was offered seats at the bar, but could not accept due to my underage companion which was made clear to the hostess. Asked for a table, was put back on wait list - again, no problem. Waited for another hour. I called to inquire, and was again offered a couple of seats at the bar. After reminding her of the underager a second time (no problem), she decided to actually check tables, and lo, there was in fact room for us. We d been waiting for tables that were already available. Neat. We arrive, hungry and eager, and are asked for ID, this time to prove my legal guardianship status. I am a relative, not a guardian. The only thing I got from the hostess was yeah I guess I should have mentioned earlier . Very cool, thank you. Excellent hosting worthy of the prices being charged. I can appreciate that there are rules to follow, but damn it sure would have been nice to have been informed of them BEFORE waiting for 90 minutes. Anyway, I guess the atmosphere seemed pleasant enough. Not sure I m gonna bother coming back given my personal experience here tonight, but at least it was pretty attractive inside.

Burger week burger was awesome, great service, very friendly. But I can t get by $16 for two Shirley Temples for a 12 year old. Price overall, and drinks specifically even beyond the Shirley Temples, is not worth it.

While you pay up for the vibe and downtown location, Lot Six offers a tasty meal to make the price worth it. Stopped by for dinner and got: - Fresh Oysters and Baked Oysters: A bit disappointed that they werent that special in quality/taste, just a bit bigger. The baked oysters also had this weird tomato sauce which I didnt think went well with them. - Lobster Mac and Cheese: Now were talking. While the serving size was small-ish, the mac had just enough cheese not to be overwhelming, and there were good chunks of lobster meat. - Blackened Salmon: The quality of the salmon was outstanding, the couscous bed it was on brought out the char on the fish, and I liked the pops of corn that added sweetness to the dish. - Chocolats Brownie Sundae: Decadence in a bowl. The homemade chocolate and vanilla icecream were really good. Got a corner table by some books, which added a quaint vibe to the meal. Service was friendly and quick (thanks Nathan). Would recommend ypu reserve as it does getting full. Overall, Lot Six is a worthwhile visit.

Very underwhelming food. Highlight of the meal was the fries. Food wasn t sitting right in my stomach, eating at the establishment gave me food poisoning. Probably never eating at the place again. Staff was great food not so much.

Really fun cocktails and good food. Summer has great patio on a mostly closed Argyle street (pedestrians only) which makes it good spot to relax and have a laugh. They will absolutely custom make a cocktail if you wish.

The food is really good and so is the service but they really should turn down the racket.. Definitely not a Romantic place and not a dining establishment where you can have a decent conversation without yelling....too bad.

Came here for an evening cocktail, and was not disappointed! The Moscow Mules were delicious and the Cucumber Ricky was delightfully refreshing. Our bartender was awesome and energetic. The whole vibe was really cool.

Went for late night drinks and oysters, though the security at the front said the kitchen was closed and we would have went away disappointed if a server hadnt come by to correct the situation saying that oysters are still available after the kitchen closes. Cocktails were very nice. We ordered one that really wasnt to our liking (aftertaste was like paint... if thats your thing, please enjoy it), but the server was kind enough to switch it out to something more our speed at no charge.

First time here today with a bachelorette party, and absolutely loved it! The waitress was lovely, and the food was TO DIE FOR. I m not lying when I say it was the best burger I ve ever eaten. We all had different dishes, and every single one of us were super happy with our food. Will definitely come back next time I m in Halifax!

Wow did not expect this good cocktail bar in halifax..we tried 4 drinks and all were balanced..Perfect flavor and alcohol mix... Servers were knowledgeable as well..One of them was wearing THE COLD ROOM TSHIRT..which is perfect as it is my favorite speakeasy..All in all best place to get your cocktails in Halifax..

We had a wonderful meal on the patio for brunch. The lobster croquettes were delicious and the potatoes they were served with were perfect. My partner had the cheeseburger which was also excellent and the fries were fantastic. Our server was on top of everything and was so very friendly. We will definitely be back soon!

We were there for a private function. The 2 servers we had for the whole 2nd floor did a great job. The fish and chips were amazing. I loved the old building atmosphere with low wooden ceilings. Would definitely come back.

We had dinner here our first night and while the food was incredible, the service was not! It took a long time for the server (who we saw very little of) to come and tell us the beer we ordered was out of stock and even longer to get the actual beer (it came same time as the food). We also had to wait a while to get our bill. It seems their machines were down which was understandable but it was definitely frustrating. Had the salmon, which is delicious with the couscous and my boyfriend had the burger, which was huge and came with a generous order of fries. Good dinner option!

Arrived at 10pm, our host was fantastic, even though the kitchen was closed he told us we could still have oysters. We were seated in a quiet dining space at the bar. All 12 oysters had shell pieces on the inside and out. Classic Cocktails were google standard we were spoken to with courtesy and excitement from our host, bartenders only offered a minimum standard of service. We were barely spoken to, but they chatted with the other guests at the bar. Very dissatisfied with the level of service.

I came here last week with a couple friends and had a great experience. I loved the vibe of the restaurant and we all loved our food. I got the artichoke risotto and it was delicious. One of my friends got the maple balsamic ribs and loved them but wasn t full after so he got lobster mac and cheese to go (which he also enjoyed). My other friend really liked the jerk spiced tenderloin she ordered and was pleasantly surprised by the blueberry salsa. Her only complaint was that the meat wasn t cooked equally throughout, it went from medium to well done from one side to the other. Which is the only reason why I m rating this four stars, not five. Our waiter Will was great, he was super nice and answered our menu questions happily. He also made me a great and refreshing strawberry/lemon non-alcoholic drink! I d definitely recommend this place for small groups or a date night!

This was our first stop in Halifax, and we were pleasantly surprised. The place was empty when we arrived, Ryka was our server and she had great energy, she made great wine recommendations and was fun to chat with. She recommended the Tuna Carpaccio & Tomato Watermelon Salad and we were in heaven. When it was time to tap out the Place was PACKED!! For right reason, it checks all boxes! Will be returning! B&D

Extremely satisfied with a late night Sunday dinner I had here. Despite the atrium being closed, the dining room inside was still nice with plenty of diners and atmosphere. The cocktails were top notch but the highlight was the shrimp and scallop pasta. The price point, flavor, presentation, I m still thinking about it. I highly recommend checking this place out

Just flew in from Ontario, it s our anniversary and I really wanted to start the night with some oysters! We sat ourselves on the patio right beside the main entrance (there are no please wait to be seated signs). One server/another server/ a host?/and a buss boy, not one acknowledgement. We finally caught the servers attention and she served us water and menus. Set a phone timer for 10 mins, when the alarm went off we got up and left, what a waste of 20mins! walked next door, was seated, ordered drinks in less than 2 minutes.

Neat bar, though no food after about 9pm aside from oysters (which were actually surprisingly fresh). Good drinks, some were watered down but mostly enjoyable. Overall good vibe, a bit bright for the main bar area.

I booked a reservation for 8 PM for me and five of my friends. One of these five friends is not 19 yet however on the website it says she could be in the restaurant before 9 PM. Once we got to the restaurant they would not let her in even though we were there before 9 PM and had a reservation and I confirmed on the website. This was very unprofessional and upsetting as we were celebrating moving into our first house and everywhere else around us was fully booked. I usually love lot six but this left a very bad taste in my mouth and ruined our night

Came in and sat for 10 minutes with friends. And NO ONE came to acknowledge us. Tip for servers, it s your duty to see if new people show up. It s not our job to tell you that. We ended leaving and going somewhere else.

Went here last night at 11pm when it was pretty much dead. The hostess was the iciest, crustiest person I have ever encountered. She was beyond annoyed with the fact that we were there. She reluctantly agreed to seat us, brought us past a sea of empty tables and told us to sit at the bar. If she was capable of smiling there was no evidence of this ability. We left immediately and likely will never go back. She should not be who anyone sees when walking into Lot Six. If youre having a bad night, fake it. You are supposed to be the HOSTESS. Do better.

For weeks, I had been trying to contact somebody to speak with about hosting my wedding at this restaurant. I emailed 3 times, called twice, and actually went in to see the venue and taste the food on my own. The manager was unable to see me due to an event happening, but our lovely waitress said shed pass my name along and tell him to answer my emails. I never heard from him. My sister then emailed him and he got back to her right away, and thats the only reason I was able to receive any info about what an event at Lot 6 would entail. I loved the food and the service from our waitress was great, but as a venue for your event, maybe look elsewhere. Edit: just for the record, I checked my spam mail religiously while waiting for a reply and there is no email. I also called twice and left my phone number with the staff. I even went in person to speak to somebody to leave all my info in the hopes that would work. This is a strange and unsympathetic reply from Lot 6. I dont normally leave reviews, let alone bad ones, but this experience was so frustrating. I like the restaurant and the dining experience was great, but setting up an event has been nothing but difficult.

Waited 45 minutes for brunch for two, ordered eggs benny. It was good but i only got 14 pieces of potatoe, and then a bunch of salad that had 3 blueberries and 4 small slices of strawbery. I didnt really care to eat wet arugala so i wasnt full. Waitress was nice but i think its over rated on google.
