Very nice atmosphere, delicious food, good staffs

This is my first time to try African food. It s so good! I tried okro soup and fufu. I really like it! Okro soup is spicy and delicious! Definitely will visit again.

Amazing meal, truly gave the Nigerian feel. The portion is also amazing. Would definitely come back again.

If you re a foodie like me, you ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of Nigerian dishes, and I loved everything I tried. I can t wait to come back again.

The couple s were very friendly, it takes them less than 30 minutes to prepare 5 portions of food. The jollof rice was ok I give it a 7, the banger soup was massive. I give it a 10, and the ogbonor was poor i will give it a 3. The proteins was very tender but not that spicy I will give it a 8.

I placed an order on DoorDash for boiled yam and stew with chicken and jollof spaghetti with chicken. Upon placing the order I contacted the restaurant asking if I could receive only chicken thigh pieces or a wing for the boiled yam and stew meal they reassured me that it would not be a problem. Once I received my order I was instantly disappointed I barely received any stew majority of my meal was boiled yam. I then realized I did not receive any chicken with my meal I rushed to give the restaurant a call regarding my order as I spent a total of 70 dollars for this order. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional his instant approach was to argue with me instead of apologizing. I tried to plead with him but it seemed like he just did not care. I will not be eating or ordering from this restaurant again.

Nice jollof rice, and the chicken that comes with each plate is worth the price.

I went to Afroheat safari restaurant ,two days ago to try for first time Nigerian Egusi soup with pound yam. Iam from Angola and have never tried Egusi before. I really enjoyed the food ,it was very delicious, and the owners were very welcoming people and the lady took time to explain to me the menu. I only give 4 stars because of the portion size ,I wish the Egusi portion was little big for the $25 I paid I will go back and order from them again for sure. i ordered small Jollof rice with fried chicken for the first time and was very delicious will definetely order again but the next time will be a large plate of Jollof rice with fried chicken so glad i find this restaurant on Ubereats

I came yesterday for the first time and the jollof rice was awesome. I came again today for the vegetable soup and poundo and it was the best I be had in decades.

Ordered jollof rice and fried chicken. Rice was great, but chicken was not edible. 2 small pieces, cooked so hard we could barely chew the meat. The texture and flavour was so off, we questioned if it was even chicken, (but there was thick, poorly plucked chicken skin) ... my guess is they fried the meat frozen!? It was so dry and tough, even my dog struggled to chew the meat! ... meat barely edible for a dog!

Garbage fried chicken l just ordered jollof rice and fried chicken on uber eats, jollof rice was ok and l couldnt eat their chicken it was hard as a rock let alone our puppy it gave up aswell. I wish l had a choice to give 0 stars

I stopped at the Afroheat safari Resturant in Hamilton, Canada. Visiting from Maryland USA I was looking for African cuisine and I was not disappointed!! Went looking for egusi soup but the chef and owner talked me into trying his Oha soup special and I obliged. It was very good! So good I thought I was sitting in a restaurant in downtown Onitsha. I will surely stop by again before my departure to the United States. If you happen to be in Hamilton Canada and love African food please stop by.

I usually dont give reviews, but this place deserves a 10star. I have been looking for a place where I can get an igbo vegetable soup or edikaikong. I just tried this place. Its definitely the best in town, so well made. I was really contemplating, but the owner (guy), who was super friendly and reassuring, told me I would definitely come back for more. Im definitely going back. The best in GTA hands down

Don t think this review is fake cause I m being honest, Very good service, as soon as you walk in the chef is making you laugh, but don t get me started on the food, it s one of the best food tasting Nigerian food in the city if I m being honest, definitely my new favorite spot right now.

I saw this place regularly while walking past and figured Id find it on Google. The reviews were quite good, and I love trying new spots. This place wont win any awards for its atmosphere or storefront, but honestly its just a humble take out spot. I wont fault them for the lack of interior design choices. The two things Ill comment on here are the food and the price. The food was pretty good. I ordered the Jollof Rice. Plenty of rice and the sauce was pretty good. The guy working here made it in the back while I was there. The chicken has really decent spice on it, and despite clearly not being cooked fresh, was not too dry, but wasnt the best chicken. My biggest complaint about the food was the lack of chicken. There were two drumsticks and a huge amount of rice. I would have loved 3 or even 4 drumsticks for the amount of rice I got. But the biggest issue is the price. The menu on Google says the Jollof Rice is $16, but at the store it said $17, and then when I went to pay it was for some reason $19.25? For the amount of reheated chicken I got nearly $20 isnt even close to an acceptable price. For $10 or even maybe $15 including tax, Id be back here in a heartbeat for its alright take-out African options, but for the price of a sit down restaurant with freshly cooked meat, Im not going to be returning unfortunately. I really hate that because the food was okay, and I love to visit local small businesses over multinational chains, but youve got to impress for that price, or do something solid for an affordable price. You cant charge premium prices for middling take-out.

My first time ordering from here, I ordered swallow and egusi and it gave both me and my partner food poisoning. There must be a quality issue. Wouldnt recommend this restaurant the food came in a very poor condition, it looks like they gave us what was stuck under the pot.

We ordered fried yam and stew (egg) and jolloff rice with chicken. Both the dishes were tasty and flavourful. The fried yam and stew was very oily with a pool of oil at the bottom of the container. I also felt that the price is a bit steep.

The jollof rice and chicken is very delicious here. I would warn against anything with fish if you arent Nigerian or havent had it before. I ordered the egusi and cat fish stew. I was not able to eat it, but I suspect its not for everyone.
