15 minutes wait with no heads up for 2 combos. What I assume the owner taming orders with zero talking or smile. Charge for dip sauce on a $30 order. Washrooms looks like they havent been cleaned in months.

I feel the quality of the food is just not there anymore. Chicken pieces are definitely much smaller than they used to be. Rice and beans are bland and almost soupy. Its just not like its used to be.

Visited it few days back Honestly the manager has to learn something about maintaining hygiene I saw him coughing and spitting in the dustbin right in front of me He was not wearing any mask or gloves On top of that, he wore his socks and shoes and then immediately started packing the orders without even washing his hands I was literally disgusted Will never visit again

apparently it s hard to make a sandwich with no pickles and then argued with my mom when she went to exchange my sandwich for one without pickles lmao like i ordered

There was a old guy which i believe is the manager of the shop, had cold and was coughing all around the kitchen without wearing mask. He was not even wearing gloves and serving the customers with the same hands without even washing them even once. At least mask and gloves should be worn if you are having flu or anything. Or why bother coming to store and making others sick.

I went to popeyes for my first time ever in 2023. It was amazing. Very fresh and the staff here was very polite. The restaurant has been clean every time I am there also. I highly recommend this place!

I dined here with my family last night in celebration of the new year, but unfortunately the food was NOTHING to celebrate about. Not only was the chicken dry and old, it was not prepped properly, meaning there was still feathers on some of the wings and there was a vertebrae still connected to the breast, and on top of all that. One of us got horrible either food poisoning or salmonella. This is incredibly unacceptable and not okay for ANY place to be serving stuff in that condition with such ignorance. We will NEVER be returning back to this location in the future, neither should you.

Food was fresh, made an order to go. Literally every table in the dining area had crumbs and grease all over them, but the restaurant was empty.

I purchased a 5 piece meal, which says mixed meat. I got home to only dark meat. I hate dark meat. The registrar said mixed meat, or I would have requested white meat. When I reached out to Popeyes. They says the franchise would be in touch. , I received no reply from the franchise

i came in been here multiple times was good but got two chicken sandwiches both of them came out pink raw and where not at all crispy was not compensated or anything just given two more not to mention this is extremely dangerous as it could make someone really sick

I orders 3 pices combo come with legs with wing , legs come with blood alwayes and if I want breast white meat they will charge me 1.5 $extra for pice unfair and wings not combo pice it is smallllllllll one

Sooooo, actually decided to eat elsewhere. Walked in, was waiting in line.. only to see the cook in the back rubbing his backside . Ok fine. He made his way to the garbage bin and used his bare hands to push the garbage down further into the can.. just when we thought it couldn t get worse - he cups his mouth and nose and sneezes .disappears around the corner. I mean, maybe he washed butttt, we didn t stick around to find out : (

They forgot to make my food and wouldnt give my money back. They forced me to wait again. Terrible service. Be kind and make your mistake right however the customer will be happy.

If you are going to order here, double check if you received all your items. Had to drive back and the lady at the front had the audacity to give me an attitude after informing them my fries were missing. And always ask for a RECEIPT!!!

I have been here a number of times because I enjoy Popeyes. However at this location the food is never as well prepared as it is at other locations. It always makes me feel sick after, and just doesnt taste the same. If you enjoy Popeyes I suggest going to the other Hamilton location.

Ancaster location. Washrooms are disgusting. I couldn t believe how dirty they were. Food is not even close to fresh. I was told Popeyes was the best, so I tried this place, twice. Very disappointed.

I am a massive Popeyes lover and a fried chicken connoisseur, I typically go to the Hamilton location however I have been to this location 3 times, first time it gave my whole family food poisoning and my popcorn chicken (or chicken nuggets I can t quite remember) were PINK. The second time I got a below average but still decent chicken sandwich(and an admittedly awesome biscuit), today was the last straw when I recieved a nearly inedible chicken sandwich, half of which was so undercooked it was also pink, and a stale biscuit, will not be visiting again. Going to stick to Hamilton from now on.

I walked in at 6:10 and ordered a 10 piece combo. the people who were working were polite, but the order came out at 6:50, and it was really bad... we got food poisoning from the chicken. The rice and beans were soggy and really badly flavoured. The poutine was pretty soggy too (and Im a poutine lover- couldnt eat it). We spent a little under $50 for the food but it went straight to the bin. Even the pies had a really strange taste (the strawberry- we got too sick to even try the apple).

Super crispy chicken and best spicy flavor

This is my new favourite location! The gentleman at the front who took our order was so pleasant and outgoing unlike the Stoney Creek mountain location where they are always cold and uninviting. Recently, Popeyes made a few changes to their menu and replaced their dried out buns with super soft brioche style buns that are amazing but unfortunately, they also stopped selling my favourite shrimp sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised when the guy at the front said hell have them make it for me and it was wonderful!!

I got a 5pc dark meat for $8.99 offer from this place. First off, the chicken pieces that I received were not all dark meat. Second, they had this horrible greasy taste that I had couldnt eat any further than the second piece. Less shockingly, I had an upset stomach due to poisoning for the rest of the day. I frequently visit Popeyes (other outlets) and this is a first time experience. I rarely review to give one star, but I had to this time. Please improve your standards.

i ordered from this branch two times . the first time i ordered 5 sandwiches and the uber driver brought only 2 sandwiches. the second time when i ordered spicy chicken sandwich , the chicken was not well cooked pllllz guys focus , this is not charity restaurant, we are paying money for the service and the food .

Absolutely disgusted! I walked in and placed my order with the girl working. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes, no big deal but in that time I was standing there waiting, the older gentleman who I believe is the manager was sitting behind the counter, behind the drink station and all I could see was his bare feet and him rubbing them. I debated about asking for a refund but the girl seemed really run down so I just took my order and threw it in the garbage. I was so grossed out.

Absolutely disgusting, I asked them for fresh chicken and he assured me that is fresh and said I will making fresh right now . I waited there for 15 min to get fresh one. My order was full wings. Eventually, not only was the leftover and fresh chicken mixed together, but all the whole wings I had ordered were in small pieces. Be honest with the customer.

ANCASTER location. Gave them one more chance but they blew it again. Ordered 2 chicken tender combos MILD, got SPICY and NO dipping sauce. It seemed like the manager questioned the cook about our chicken but the cook, obviously in a hurry to close, said it was mild, it wasnt. They offered to remake our order, but then we wouldve had to drive back again. Wont be back-ever.

The popcorn chicken is amazing!!! However you should be able to order more popcorn chicken only and not have to order the meal twice if you just want more chicken. Besides that it is a great place for fried chicken.

Went to this Popeyes location yesterday, four employees were behind the counter and 3 had no masks. The only one who did had it pulled down around his chin and it was doing nothing. Very disappointing

I ordered thru uber eats and the order was missing the 5 piece tenders. I phoned the store and they would do absolutely nothing except say that the uber driver probably ate the order . This is ridiculous as guaranteed they forgot the order and went to pass the blame on the uber driver. Never use this store as the rest of my 75 $ order was minimal in size also.

It is an okay fast food. I like there spicy chicken. Relative expensive side. What I end up doing is either wait for a coupon or have their sepcial of the day and have take out and then get the softdrink or water at home. The environment is clean and seating is comfortable.

Extremely slow service. Ordered my food and 5 minutes later, they realized they didnt have my order made yet. Then had to wait another 10minutes to cook my order. Such a shame for a fast food place.

My guys really enjoy the chicken but i find it a tad over priced, ordered a 5 pc add on it was around 18 bucks.

Dinner at home took a turn for the worse (Food company at our cottage social didn t show up) and we ended up coming to this Popeye s location as it was close by and open late (until 10pm). Called ahead to make sure it wasn t an error on the google search that they were closing at 10pm. Person on phone said yes, 10, byeeeeeee . So we drive 24minutes to grab food for my kids and I there. Arrived at 9:26pm. OPEN sign on. As I approached the door a woman came rushing to the front door waving me off and she clicked off the open sign and scurried back inside. VERY disappointed. Will contact head office in the morning, hopefully they follow the posted business hours!

Oh my the chicken was nice and crispy! Mash potatoes with gravy had a nice flavor! Too be honest I was nervous to try Popeyes because of my sensitive stomach! However I am so happy my Aunt suggested eating here! The food was delicious not at all salty! This made a wonderful outing and built a memorable time with my Aunt!

Very slow service...the cook is on his cell the whole time instead of doing his job. Chicken had a smell ...will not be returning.

Stopped at Popeyes in Ancaster for a takeout dinner. I was a little apprehensive about ordering the Voodoo Tenders as my wife and I arent hot sauce people but the young girl behind the counter put a little sauce in a container for me to try and it wasnt that bad. 3 tenders, fries, biscuit, drink was very filling and was a good deal at $6.99 each. Go ahead and give it a try I think youll like it, unless you like hot stuff you can add your own hot sauce when you get home.
