Worst experience...

I went in to pick up an Uber Eats order and was declined because I didn t have the correct thermal bag, even though I had the official Uber Eats thermal bag. To make matters worse, the staff member was rude about it. Clearly, better training and customer service are needed.

Mac & cheese was plain pasta with no cheese. Pierogis were dried out on edges. Cheesecake more like a cannoli. When we ordered cashier stood like he was a on guard soldier.

Ive stopped in a few times for lunch, the pierogies are always fabulous. Just a little overpriced for what you get. The service and staff are always fabulous. I will admit that the establishment is not incredibly clean looking and smells slightly musty. Takeout works for me!

First off eating in is way better at any place but with that said, eating here was so good. The owner brought out our food, it was super hot and very good. We liked it so much we ordered take out a week later and what a difference. The pierogies were hard, small portions, so cold and one sour cream for 10 pierogies?? Huh? Needless to say if wanna dine it its great! But dont order take out. Youll be disappointed.

We decided to stop by to try out pierogies. Went for the fried option as kids like the crunch. It was a good appetizer for us as everyone tried a few and they liked the potato stuffing. Shredded cheese and sour cream toppings went over well too. Cashier answered our questions smoothly and gave us a nicely plated classic pierogies to share with plenty of serviettes for the kids mess...

The owner was very nice and communicated clearly (it was eclipse day and there were so many people that there were some delays to get the food). Restaurant was overall clean and not overcrowded. Food was great! I got the cheesy perogies (with onions and goat cheese), it tasted great and the perogies were perfectly cooked. Worth the wait!

These are nice people. For anyone without expectations of authenticity, it is a nice lunch. If you expect anything like Slavic dishes, then you lose. The food is tasty. Im not knocking them for that. These dishes would not be found in Babas kitchen.

Me and my girlfriend love this place and the staff is so friendly!

The pierogi tasted really good. We had the one with Eggs. The portions were a little less than expected as per the price but tasted good. What I would recommend is Poutine which tasted surprisingly good.

I have no idea what people who leave bad reviews to this place is expecting. I am now a regular; my order is the babas classic, and it never disappoints. Get them boiled, with extra sour cream, bacon and onions, just like my babushka used to make them. Service is AMAZING, super friendly and welcoming. 10/10 couldnt ask for anything else. Vegetarian options: Theres plenty of options for vegetarians, lots of toppings to chose from.

We really like the curly fries from here. They have several toppings combinations we really enjoy and our son likes the kids food too so it s a win win.

My daughter is 8 and its her favorite place to eat, we go so often they know her order.. tonight when she went in the gentleman working asked her about different sauces and offered her another sauce to try and she loved it and had to run back in to let him know weve also suggested to a few family members who also really enjoy the food thank you for being so kind the world needs more people like the workers here

they NEVER give buffalo sauce on a crispy BUFFALO order, even after telling them i want extra buffalo sauce they barely put any on!!! just the chicken pieces with barely any sauce

food 3.7/5, service 3.5/5 atmosphere 4/5 the guys in there tonight were great brought my food out and also gave me suggestions on what to have, the only thing for service, was I wasnt able to buy a side of pierogis, and it was a little pricy for what I got. The fried pierogis werent tht great if im being honest and the sauteed onions tasted a little to vinegary for me, they had no indication they were sauteed for the bogos classic I ordered, almost tasted pickly in my opinion. however the hombre was a little pricy for what you get, however it was pretty good I liked it no complaints there except could use more sour cream, the place was nicely rennovated and clean. I would reccomend going abd trying it, but try the boiled pierogis, try the fried ones to if you want but if I went back id get the boiled ones for sure

The service is what it is, usually they say 15 minute wait. It only takes 10, the restaurant is nice and small, probably wont accommodate more than a dozen people. Great employees, always smiling. Now for the food, firtly the regular size fills me up, Im 62 and 210 pounds.. pretty big guy, and I like to eat! Their new flavors are amazing, if you want something absolutely amazing get the new TAJ holy moly what an explosion of flavor. TRY IT!

Omg tried this place for the first time. My husband had never had Pierogi before. Have to say was the best pierogi Ive ever had and he loved them.

Nice food, but we preferred it when it had more of a restaurant vibe. Now they just give it to you in a white takeout box on a tray. Edit: we got take out. The pierogis were very glue-y and the Texas chicken was literally store bought nuggets (rectangular) tossed in sauce. The best part of the Gangam pierogi was the kimchi and soft boiled egg.

Never been to the restaurant have always ordered on skip the dishes. But the food is fantastic my wife always orders the Godzilla boiled pierogies bowl and I get the Taj

First time trying their food. I got take out and had the classic pierogies with extra portion, and had the Philly cheese flavour. The portion was enough for me but way too much sauce. There were enough toppings especially the brussel sprouts that I ordered as an extra. There were like 6 halves and they were $3.50 I would try a different flavour but have the sauce on the side or request less sauce.

Food would be great if it wasn t drowned in the ranch and it would also be great if they had the option to remove ranch because why would you want maple ranch on your pierogies. It also doesn t taste like maple it taste like slimy sweet. I picked pierogies and sour cream. I did not choose ranch on it. It did not give the option to remove it. If you give the option of several sauces, put the ones they chose not other ones they didn t pick. If you buy cheese and bacon pierogies, it just means that there s cheese and bacon on top and not in the pierogies like you would assume. I could not eat the bacon on top of mine because it was covered in the maple ranch that does not taste like maple.

First time here but it wont be my last! Absolutely incredible food, I ordered one of their many options for perogies, SO flavorful and a fantastic portion size to keep you full but not stuffed. I definitely recommend getting them crispy, just perfection. And we cant forget about the customer service, above and beyond, absolutely incredible service and kind employees. They directed me to the perfect meal for me and the vibes inside were incredible aswell!

Food is really good and a lot of varieties just one word Justinflation or maybe Justshrinkflation? Which ever you decide works best they charge insane prices for extras and absolutely will NOT give anything extra second time ordering $3.75 worth of cheese curds and received NONE. Wont be ordering from here again as the first time I emailed them they blocked my email. I m sorry? 1 oz portion of what? I didn t mention anything of the sort. I mentioned an almost $4 charge and received nothing of that charge. I continued ordering every once in a while hoping you d change your ways but have you???? No. Because I just put a third complaint in to Uber eats for a $10 charge for cheese curds on two orders and received NONE. I don t know where you got sour cream from because I don t eat your sour cream. I don t like sour cream, I don t know where you got that idea from. I m simply complaining about a $4 charge numerous times and you did not deliver. Perhaps if you re talking about add ons you shouldn t say SAUCES. Regardless, I haven t received cheese curds in about the last five times I ve ordered from you. Then you go and block my email while I wasn t even harassing you I ll harass you now though. Your establishment is pathetic and my pulled pork hardly had any on it as well. You think you re getting ahead but you won t last

Thé menu is diverse and not just pierogis. I ordered a Brussels sprout Caesar salad and a Cobb salad, loaded bacon and cheddar bites and crispy cauliflower and dip.

SOO GOOD! Got the buffalo chicken pierogi - soft instead of crispy. Will definitely be back soon.

1 star cus theres no half star emoji. Grab a box of cheemo from the frozen section @ the grocery store and call it a day! Save yourself the wait and trip. Pretty disappointing place. Nothing special at all. They hap hazardously throw some low quality ingredients on top of some undercooked, underfilled and overpriced rogis. I have tried both fried and classic and neither were cooked properly or fully. The classics were pathetically boiled and the overall taste, nevermind presentation of them made me vaguely depressed. Theyre perogies, it really isnt that difficult.... The crispy one were equally as feeble, but at least I could pull them from the container. I have been served better perogies on an airplane, if that paints a better picture.

I did love this place. Was loyal to them with other local options popping up including organizing work lunches ordering from there. However, prices go up AND portions get smaller. Today I paid $10 for 5 perogies with some onions and cheese and it tasted bland. Time to stop being loyal.

Always great takeout at Loaded Pierogi. Mac and cheese and crispy pierogi bases are staples for us. Lots of variety in meal options and custom orders are always taken into account. New menu options just released and always amazing service.

Very disappointed. Ordered the steak and cheese and there was 4 pieces of thinly sliced steak. Unsatisfying meal to say the least. For the same price as say, smokes poutinerie, it was much less bang for your buck.

I was there on Oct 15 2022. I wanted a pierogi poutine and was told i could only have a regular poutine..they were able to put any toppings on pierogi except for cheese curds and gravy. How does that make any sense? After a lengthy conversation they finally agreed to make me a pierogi poutine. It was 8 pierogies with 4 cheese curds and disgusting, cold gravy. The pierogi were dry, old and yet somehow not fully cooked. I am polish and have never tasted pierogis this bad. I also had violent cramps for the rest of the night.

I have not been at this place, what I can tell you is good luck finding a place to park, because if you park in their parking lot you might get a $55.00 ticket for unauthorized parking. Wheelchair accessibility: I dont if they have it

Absolutely fantastic food and customer service! The meals looked small but were quite filling. Fresh and delicious toppings on the pierogis. All of us were happy with our food and plan to eat here again. In addition, the customer service was outstanding. I have a food allergy and the person I spoke with was knowledgeable and accommodating and made me feel like they really cared about making sure my meal was free from my allergens. 10/10 recommend!! Dietary restrictions: Allergies taken seriously. When they couldnt get a hold of me to ask about a certain topping they packaged it separately and wrote a note that was delivered with my order to tell me how it was prepared. Great service.

Friendly staff to help out people whos first time ordering. I had the Smoking Pig Roast with fried Pierogi and it was well worth the money $25.95 + tax. Filling for the portion size. Well worth going back to try their other dishes. Thumbs up for all you Pierogi lovers out there.

Loaded Pierogi is a cozy little industial styled nook (5 two person tables, 8/9 bar stools around an L shaped bar and 1 eight person long table, which you could probably fit 9/10 people at considering one side is a full bench) with great food and wonderfully kind staff. When my father wasnt sure on which craft beer to order the waitess offered to give him samplers. A very nice gesture that definitely doesnt happen at all places. The wait staff was overall very attentive and social. All pierogis are stuffed with potatos and onions and the meal you choose to order is basically the toppings that youll have on top. I ordered The Catch which included Atlantic Lobster and Crab dressed with Sweet Julienne Peppers, Camelized onions, Green onions, Hollandaise sauce and Sourcream. Whereas, My father opted for the Roast Chicken and Avacado Club which includes, Roast Chicken and Avacado obviously with Bacon, Cherry Tomatos, Cheddar cheese, Creamy Ranch Dressing, Green Onions and Sourcream. No matter how extra you are in your own kitchen, you have definitely never had pierogis done this way before. Both tasted absolutely wonderful. Now, each plate comes with 8 pierogis ANNNNNND I can see your faces now, only 8!? Well yes, and if youve eaten properly throughout the entire day this definitely will be enough to make you full. When you get your plates there are so many toppings that you cant even see the pierogis themselves and then with them being stuffed with potatos it definitely does a number on you. But, I can see if youve havent eaten anything all day or only snacked, how it might be a smaller portion then you would have chose for yourself. I have a solution for that my friends, and here it comes... Order more than one delicious plate! or just go to damn buffet. For me atleast, I think this restaurant is more about having a new experience with food when trying something youve had before but never in this sort of way. If you want to gorge yourself, maybe this is not the right place for you that day. Pierogis can be done two ways. Boiled or Crispy. But if youre curious you can order half and half which is what I did. The boiled pierogis were everything my childhood self wanted AND MORE, and the crispy pierogis were heavenly, with a panzerotti type crust that you never would have thought would work but does. If you cant tell already, I love pierogis . My dish cost $14 or 14.50 and my dads was geneally around the same price maybe give or take a dollar more. Beer was $6 and Ice Tea was $3. The only thing that I kind of disagreed on the price of was the extra topping I chose. There is an option on the bottom of your menus where you can pick and chose toppings that arent originally on your food and add them. I chose to add avacado to my dish for $2.50..... but the pieces of avacado I received.... nOPE. DIDNT DO IT FOR ME. They cut it up to decorate the plate and there are maybe 3 or 4 very small slices. After seeing what I got, I was alittle disappointed I wish there was more. Maybe Im being greedy and trying to think of downside when there really isnt one. But on the upside that is my only compliant . Oooh also, for all you non-meat eaters out there. I believe there are two dishes for you aswell. The Cabbage Patch Kid and Babas Original but dont quote me on those names. The menu is available online for your viewing purposes. PS; DID I MENTION THAT THEY HAVE DESSERT PIEROGIS!? PSPS; I throughly enjoyed watching Animal Planet on the flat screen TV while waiting for my food. So glad atleast one place has something other than sports on. Id much rather watch sloths swimming

Ive ordered from LP multiple times and they never disappoint. It is SO GOOD! The portions are huge and very tasty. It even tastes good reheated the next day. We will continue to go back.

Good covid protocols, good food, friendly staff. I asked to give me whats popular, I was given the boiled pierogi topped with Buffalo chicken. Napkins were very unbeard friendly, which is really the only negative thing to say. Will likely visit again when I am in the city

Grabbed a loaded Mac n Cheese with wild mushrooms and truffle. The pasta was dry and not at all creamy and quite salty. It was however, loaded with onions and very little mushrooms. Definitely a no!!!

Good food but... Ordered from skip the dishes and the way they stapled the bag left the staples open subsequently cutting my finger open and leaving it bleeding. When I called to tell the manager about this he ignored my plea and would not do a thing about it. He was ignorant and uncaring. I dont care how good the food is... Theyve lost me as a customer.

Best place EVER

I have been to Loaded Perogi several times now. Most recently, I went during the pandemic to pick it up for takeout. It was delicious! I got the Porky Pig, which has bacon on it. I like the boiled perogi best. The owner was lovely and she sanitized the counter and the debit machine after each person. I would love to order again and again.

dont waste your money here, i ordered a butter chicken and this was my first time i ever came here and the guy promised me fresh chicken and when i got my food the chicken was cold and the butter was like watered down...the pierogis were Ok but overall wasnt a first time good experience and they over charge for there food for such small portions.

Saw an ad on fb and we had to try it out, so happy we did the man that was there was very friendly and helpful and was able to accommodate my food sensitivities ...and helped me with the menu choices ...food was very delicious and lots of flavor ...will go back again for sure .We ordered buffalo chicken mac and cheese and also got the Butter Chicken perogies ...both were delicious !!!

Grabbed the Mushroom and Truffle Pierogi set and was really happy with it! It was all cooked really well, the sauces were rich and tasty, it filled me up, and the pierogis were crispy even after a 15 mins bike home from the store. The filling of the pierogis themselves were a bit plain, but it doesnt take away from the experience and you can always get it poutin style if you prefer fries. Good Stuff!

The filling for the perogies have dairy in it and the waitress told me that if I got it without cheese and sour cream it would be vegan. I had extreme stomach upset afterwards and didnt find out I had been given food thats inedible for me until I had gone back another time and asked for the same thing and a different waitress told me there is dairy in the recipe.

The service at this fine establishment is UNMATCHED! I had driven past the James street location a handful of times and one day, finally decided to stop and give it a try! I am beyond happy that I did! During my initial visit, I was helped by Prinsal, his passion and dedication truly touched me, he quickly gained a returning customer! He made understanding the menu simple and definitely made my first experience a memorable one! Since then, I have returned more than 5 times! The consistently outstanding service and quality of food is a HELL YES from me! Thanks Loaded Pierogi, writing a review is the least I could do to say well done!

I love pierogies but this restaurant is a fast food..not liked at all..the best pierogies for me are in Toronto in Roncesvalles village..the restaurant is Whole plate..Polish home cooking and very affordable.. I discovered this little store 4 years ago when I didnt yet live in Ontario..my son has lived in Toronto for 7 years and every time I came to Toronto I went to Whole plate and now Ive been living in Hamilton since June and I go to Whole Plate all the time when Im in Toronto and the meatballs..excellent

The food was amazingly delicious place was clean the girl who worked the front line was great very helpful definitely recommend it (Pig roast loaded poutine) The flavors worked amazingly well together I was extremely impressed & satisfied
