Milan Hamilton - Indian Street Food in Hamilton

Just tried this restaurant, we specifically tried that the Dahi Puri, Kachori chaat, Bakri Pizza, and the Kashmiri Chai and the Madras coffee. We highly recommend the Bakri pizza the Amol cheese is amazing. Also, the i saw the dahi Puri from a reel and again highly recommended. I will be coming back and I wanted to try some of their hot plates, such as the pav bhaji and the ragro patties. Overall, their food is fresh, delicious, flavorful, and prepared quickly. I like how it s 100% vegetarian. Overall, the place is modern, clean, nice decor. Nice environment nice music. Service was excellent. Five stars

I can t believe I ve never had food here before. This place is fantastic. Good affordable authentic Indian street food. Clean, well styled restaurant with good seating, good atmosphere. Some dishes are like $8, most are $8 to $12. Everything is amazing. Lots of Indian people actually go here. I was thinking about getting food at Wendy s next door for the thousandth time and not looking forward to it. This place turned around my whole night. I will definitely be back. I love Indian food and there are many good formal Indian restaurants but sometimes it s nice to get Indian street food. I ve been to Oh-MoMos and Butter Chicken Roti on Upper Wentworth but I didn t really like either. They both tried to hit that more fast casual Indian restaurant market but missed. They tried to do odd fried butter chicken something or other. I love Milan because it actually does the logical thing and brings fast casual food from India directly to us intact, rather than trying to make it North American approachable and leave behind all the wonderful flavour like the others did. Worst Vadapav & Dabeli ever had in my life! I don t know if the Vada & Dabeli Stuffings were frozen. But yea , it felt raw , tasteless and uncooked. My stomach didn t even digest it the whole day and felt stomach pain at night. My whole body cycle got worse for a couple days.

Our favorite to stop on the way to Toronto. The dabeli is insanely good and the other dishes we ve tried are also excellent. To top the meal off with sweet paan is just an experience you don t really get out in this side of the world (I think, I ve never been to India).

Delicious food, quick service! Milan Fast Food exceeded my expectations. Crispy fries, and flavorful sandwiches. Affordable prices too! Must try Ginger Tea Highly recommend for a satisfying, speedy meal. 5/5 stars!

During my first visit had vadapav and samosas, which was worth a try. Their chai is amazing and I always get the masala chai. However, I wanted to their misal pav and it was disappointing. It tasted bitter and I asked them to make it mild spicy and it was way more spicy than hot spicy. Overall this was the only disappointment during my visit, rest of the times were good. Edit: your reply makes sense! Been there again and the food has never really disappointed after that!

Its nice to have first Desi style place to go for Pan, Faluda, Masaala or Elaichi chai in Hamilton. Decor is simple and a wall filled with fun words. I recommend visiting this place to encourage others to open new business here. We ate Chutney Cheese Sandwich. It was simply delicious Must try. All fast food dishes that we ordered were delicious and tasty. Drinking water cooler was missing in the restaurant. If that is getting implemented in near future, I would consider this place as 5 out of 5 star for service.

Shailesh is the man!! Great service, super accommodating and understanding, and made amazing food. We had a group of 6 come in and order a lot of food. Not even 10 minutes before we had it in front of us. Madras coffee is really good, and the sandwiches are easily made so 2 people can share. Loved the place, the service and the quality. Food was almost identical if not better than the food in India!

Loved the food. Friendly staff and great dining area. It was well lit, nice and clean. Ordering food is simple and convenient - every table had a QR code which takes us to the menu right through the phone where you can place your order and pay as well. We ordered Vadapav, Dabeli, Misal Pav, Chole Samosa and Papdi Chat. Vadapav, Dabeli and Misal Pav is good. In Papdi Chat, we were expecting Papdi but it came with Panipuri s Puri so I would suggest to sell as a Puri chat atleast so we can atleast know what we gonna have. In Chole Samosa, nothing are there other than Chole and Tamarind chutney. You can hardly taste Samosa. Take this as a review not complaint.

Amazing coffee and samosa chat and the guy who was taking our order was so confident about the food that he was serving.

Quality of the food going down. Ordered mix chaat all I got chana and small dice of potatoes with lots of hot and saur sauce in. At the side instead of papries it looks like they crushed golguppas puri and gave it to us.

Very spaciuos place. Ordered paneer club sandwich, paav bhaji and bhakhri pizza. Bhakhri pizza has same indian taste ditto, good amount of cheese. Paneer club is tasty too, quality and quantity both are there. Fair price. Paan was lit.

We bought, Ice gola and 2 flavoured ice-cream and it was too good. Also we ordered Mumbai Masala Club sandwich. which was yummy too. I would recommend whenever someone visit Hamilton, they must visit this restraunt.

One of the best indian street food experience. We were on our way back to US via Niagara and made an impulsive stop. Tandoori sandwich, veggie sandwich, mango lassi, pav bhaji, sev puri and to end with custom paan. Ehat else you can ask for :-) Specially mention sev puri was just too good. Thank you.

Amazing gola and chaat

Pav bhaji

The food was pretty good, but the sandwiches were a bit messy. The service was excellent, very prompt between when we ordered the food to when we received it. However, we had a big order and wished the staff delivered the food to the table because we had to get up everytime. Overall, atmosphere was good and lots of seating if youre coming with a group of friends or family. Decent music selection Generally, very informal setting.

The mango soft serve is phenomenal. Add some crushed pistachios. Send your taste buds on a trip to flavour town. My only complaint is the one of the staff members just fills the outer portion of the bowl leaving the whole center hollow. Other dishes to try that are good also are the samosa chaat and the falooda and the paan.

Im a regular here to dine in ... Usually order when on my way here. The place is spacious and clean. The people behind the counter are very friendly and obliging. Do not miss Misal Pav (medium / extra spicy) and Kashmiri Chai (2 sugar). Vegetarian options: Only vegetarian food available Parking: Around 20 parking spots are available right outside the store. More available in the same plaza. Wheelchair accessibility: Couple of stairs at the entrance ... Might be slightly inconvenient for wheelchairs

They started ice gola, and it is absolutely yum.

The staff was so nice and welcoming, they gave recommendations and created a welcoming atmosphere. The food captured the essence of the desi street food experience. Just good tastes and that hard hitting nostalgia with each bite.

Tried their new ice gola treat. Got to choose from a big variety of flavours and toppings to add. It was an amazing portion for the price. They had excellent service and the food also tasted excellent.

I have been here so many times since they opened. Love this place. My husband got me the strawberry & rose Ice Gola today (regular size) and it was fantastic. Delicious. He raved about the taste and how it reminds him of back home. Next time I want to try the premium size. I saw the pics on others reviews and now i must try that.
